I connected the dots (ie I saw two rottmnt dtiys challenges involving cars and decided to combine them)
AU crossover time! Featuring @angelpuns's Leo and @onionninjasstuff's Donnie and Mikey.
They saw Barbie in theaters, robbed the US government, and got ice cream afterward.
(In my mind this is post villain pb+j "redemption", meaning they're still gleefully destructive, but now also get along with their long lost family.)

MORE COWBOY AU STUFF BECAUSE IāM OBSESSED!!! The au Iāve made with some friends is called Foolās Gold! I may or may not write some fics for it š
Hereās an infodump on it if anyone is interested!!
Raph is tired sheriff who sighs at every newspaper & new wanted poster showing off his blue and purple brothers as well as Donnieās partner in crime but a he canāt help but be a little proud because he knows their doing good, just in their own special & questionable way.
Mikey is a nomad that travels around & sells self-woven clothes and blankets as well as hand carved & painted trinkets or whatever else heās made. He treats weary travelers to home cooked meals & tales & legends of four brothers! Heās also the only brother not *constantly* making trouble for Raph.
Leo is a lone hero. Going town to town & over throwing whatever greedy mayor/banker/outlaw has that town in its clutches. Heās able to masterfully manipulate whoever heās dealing with & using his many resources to gather important information. He ties them up to a post for the sheriffās convenience when he comes by the town to pick them up.
Donnie & Cass are bounty hunters/mercenaries. They used to chase each other for their bounties & because Cass was a part of the Foot before the brothers took them down & Donnie just so happens to often be the closest to her trail once she popped up again. After awhile of constantly failing to catch each other they started thinking of each other as *their* targets & everyone knew better than to try and catch the other. A fun little song & dance/game of cat & mouse if you will. Eventually they ended up having to run from the same person together & realized that they honestly make a good team & have stuck together ever since!
Shelldon is adopted by Donnie before he & Cass teamed up. He was told by the Purple Dragons to get close to Donnie so they could catch him in exchange for enough money to set him for life, money they had no intention on giving him. He did get close to Donnie but in the end didnāt want to betray him but the Dragons had accounted for that & set off an explosion in a mining tunnel to get rid of them both. Donnie ended up being able to get Shelldon a little clear of the crumbling tunnel before he was trapped under the rumble. Shelldon doesnāt want to leave him but eventually does & immediately goes to try to find help, coming across Leo who had found Donnieās spooked horse & was trying to find out what trouble Donnie had gotten himself into since his horse never leaves unless something really bad happened. Donnie ends up losing a leg cuz is it truly an F!Donnie if he doesnāt?
Casey is adopted after Donnie & Cass team up. They were in town for some groceries when Raph told them about this kid in some not so great circumstances & said itād be a shame if someone were to beat up his guardians & kidn@p him while he was busy with all this paperwork. Donnie & Cass were gone before he finished. They werenāt gonna pass up an opportunity where they had permission to do a crime after all!
The main difference between Leo & Donnieās work is that Donnie always cashes in the bad guys for money & can be hired for jobs as well as uses semi lethal methods while Leo mainly does it for fun & justice (& to mess with Raph) & takes like a free drink as payment before moving on. Leo will leave notes on the bad guys for Raph for when he comes to pick them up.
āThe Bread Winnersā is the name of Donnie, Casey, Shelldon, & Juniorās gang because Caseyās brownie scouts & my Donnie baker hc. It also shows that theyāre in it for the money & fits with how the go undercover as a family often. Plus it sounds innocent enough to disguise how insane they really are.
That is it for now!! Hope some of yāall like it!!

Hiii!! Can I request a ROTTMNT x Fem!Reader Villains but there is a twist when the reader steals stuff or kidnapped someone she doesn't hurt them and she returns the stolen stuff after a week or so but she still does bad stuff, beating people up and working with older villains and holding hostels (but doesn't hurt the hostels) and the police have not to cart her yet because she just they good
And I love reading your writing it beating my day every time I read one of them:)
Rottmnt X Villain!Fem!Reader Headcanons
[Warnings: Mention of hostage situations.]
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Leo
Leo probably is the most irritating brother Y/N has to deal with, although she will absolutely find his puns hilarious. Leo is probably one of the few that can get a visceral reaction out of her from his puns. (Which makes him even more cocky than he already is)
Leo definitely doesnāt appreciate her holding people hostage, regardless of the reasoning, so heāll always stop her, he distracts her while his brothers free everyone.
When it comes to stealing, heās more relaxed about it, stealing is common, although he always tries to get her to return the items, and much to his surprise, the stolen items return to their stores after a few days.
As for her working with the older villains, heās a little pouty about it because half of them tried to kill him at some point, and youāre working with them! But he treats it the same as he would to most villains, with a whole bunch of puns and quips.
Iād say it takes Leo a few months, maybe five to seven months, to catch feelings, when he notices, he becomes the most flustered person you will ever see, he is not good at dealing with actual romantic feelings towards others, so he just continues his puns and quips, but over time theyāll become more flirty and more like pickup lines.
Like I said, Leo becomes easily flustered around Y/N after realizing his feelings. His puns and quips become pickup lines, which likely makes her intrigued and she probably finds them just as funny as his puns. Leo will also start to try and reform her, which he is quite good at, surprisingly. He will also just start talking to her instead of fighting while distracting her, engaging in actual conversation instead of making jokes.
At a point, Y/N would probably realize that his pickup lines are genuinely Leo trying to flirt with her, which makes her disappear for a while, and that causes Leo to worry because she hasnāt been seen for over a week. After a week she reappears and makes sure to do a crime to only get Leoās attention, when he arrives, Y/N would admit she knows he likes her, making Leo very blushy and nervous, yet his nerves are eliminated the moment she returns his feelings. Leo is ecstatic once she tells him, he probably hugs her and says how much a relief that is to him.
Leo, after a few months of their relationship, starts to notice how Y/N begins to turn a new leaf, slowly moving away from her villainous lifestyle and becoming something similar to an antihero, sheās still a bit more brutal than he and his brothers are when it come to fighting villains but she is now saving lives and no longer stealing/holding hostages. This makes Leo very happy, heād probably celebrate this with a cake or something, especially on their anniversary!
Bonus! Cuddles and Churrs: Leo can be compared to a cat when it comes to cuddling, he will be holding onto you and he will be laying on you, you cannot escape him. As for his churrs, heās pretty much the average churr, itās low but also just pretty consistent with its rhythm, itās a very comfortable sound to listen too,
Donnie
Donnie is probably way more tolerable to Y/N out of them all, she likely finds his intelligence interesting, usually asking him questions during their fights, which confuses him at first, thinking it was some tatic, before realizing that it was genuine questions, making him more excited to actually face off against her again.
Donnie takes the hostage situations seriously, while Leo usually distracts her, Donnie is the one that is the one getting past any security measures and releasing the hostages with Mikey.
Donnie is more curious what Y/N could be using any stolen tech for, which after the items are returned, he usually steals them to see if there were any hints or clues left behind by her. He tries to stop her (but his curiosity makes him more likely to let her get away).
Now for working with older villains, heās confused why she even would in the first place, but again, takes it as seriously as he would while fighting their usual enemies.
Donnie takes the longest to acknowledge his romantic feelings towards Y/N, which once he realizes it, heād likely be in denial of his feelings, not wanting to admit that he likes a criminal, but even so, he does want to learn more about her, so he slowly starts to integrate more personal questions into their fights/talks.
Donnie will act mostly the same besides moments where he will ask about Y/Nās actual life and hobbies, if you have any interest in tech or science, he might fall even harder for you. Donnie would probably talk about his own tech with her, during fights he might pause and lean against his bo staff to ask questions before continuing your fight.
Donnie probably doesnāt even give Y/N time to notice his romantic feelings as he probably made a very detailed and informative plan with multiple responses planned out, so he gets her alone and tells her about his feelings, the multiple responses running through his mind, and when he hears her return his feelings, Donnie smugly admits he knew that would likely be her answer given all the evidence he collected during their interactions, making her chuckle a bit.
Donnie after a few weeks of dating would probably start to make Y/N look in a better light, trying to make her a hero instead, but once he learns that sheās still a bit brutal, even when helping people, he settles for her being an antihero instead. Donnie would probably congratulate her for being a hero now, and likely gifted her some tech he builds so she wouldnāt have to steal anymore.
Bonus! Cuddles and Churrs: Donnie is definitely not the most touchy type, but he doesnāt mind you sitting near him in his lab, and if you manage to get him to sleep, he, like his twin, will be holding onto you like a lifeline. Now Donnieās churrs are pretty normal too, theyāre a bit more higher in pitch but sometimes when he exhales while churring he ends up hissing, which embarrasses him a lot.
Raph
Raph is one Y/N is neutral about, Raph wants her to stop her crimes and instead help people with her skills, but she wonāt, sheās far too stubborn to listen, yet Raph is also just as, if not more, stubborn, and will scold her like he does with his brothers.
Raph is the one that takes almost every crime she commits seriously, no matter what happens, if Y/N gets past Leo, sheās usually faced against Raph afterwards, and he doesnāt go easy on her, heās the main reason any hostage plans fail, because she canāt physically beat him in hand to hand combat.
Raph will, once again, scold her on why stealing is wrong if he catches her in the act, blocking her exit while crossing his arms. He does feel a bit happy when he discovers that she returns the items after a few days, still thinking she can do good.
Although he does think her dynamic with the older villains is kinda like a family dynamic, which he does end up asking about during one of their fights, which unfortunately she doesnāt give much of an answer, but he still wants to know, so he keeps asking.
Raph is the most accepting of his own feelings towards Y/N, mainly because I believe Raph thinks you canāt exactly control what your heart wants, but regardless, he treats her about the same but heās more gentle in their fights and his scoldings. Raph doesnāt know how to express these feelings without just getting softer towards her.
Raph becomes softer towards Y/N, his scoldings become less harsh and more gentle, like heās afraid of hurting her with words, just as heās afraid to hurt her in fights, which he will now try to avoid if he can, it doesnāt feel right to him to fight the person he loves. If you end up in close proximity with him though, he becomes very stiff and red in the face, Raph can deal with many thingsā¦except his crush being very close to him.
Raph is the most obvious with his feelings as he quite literally says āIām not going to fight someone I love.ā to Y/N at a point, it did make her pause for a moment but Raph deflected everything by focusing back on scolding her in that moment, despite the blush on his face. So Y/N would know about his feelings for a while before she finally manages to get him to stop for a second so she can tell him that she feels the same, which made Raph surprised and he asked if she was being serious, and once she confirmed he wanted nothing more than to just bearhug her, and he did. She was very squished by Raph in that hug.
Raph would be over the moon about Y/N now fighting by his side and not against him. Heād be quick to notice her no longer committing crimes, having kept track of her villainous activities, and after noticing that she hadnāt stolen anything in over a month, heād ask about it and sheād tell him that sheās trying to become better, like he always believed she could be.
Bonus! Cuddles and Churrs: If youāre cuddling with Raph, youāre likely laying next to each other or you are laying on top of him, Raph is very nervous when it comes to cuddling because of his size, so he always makes sure to be careful, although he does love being the big spoon so he can hold you. Raphās churrs are practically rumbling growls, heās very large and very loud, itās like a jet engine, he probably ends up shaking you slightly from just his churring alone, especially if heās holding you.

calypso having an emotion-centered character and being viewed & getting treated as the āevil womanā is actually a reflection of how every woman's emotions are villainized when theyāre shown vividly and are a main part of their character in popular media.
in general media and riordanverse specifically, women with emotions are always looked down upon because showing emotions is regarded as a dramatic act so when a female character shows and acts on their emotiotions they get degraded and instantly despised because of it. this is done with every single female character while male characters who show emotion are treated like saints and found worthy of self redemption. this happened with annabeth when she didnāt want to believe luke was the bad guy and wanted to try bring him back because she was manipulated by him her entire life, meanwhile luke, who did batshit crimes like causing hundreds of innocent deaths, manipulating little girls by flirting with them, admitting his crush to a 16 year-old at his ripe age of 23, is remembered as a hero and considered āredeemed himselfā after sacrificing himself while annabeth was called insufferable when she didnāt believe he was evil in the first place. letās not forget piper, whoās a lesbian that was forced into a relationship with a man by a goddess and thought she was in the wrong for not feeling right with jason. during the entire relationship she was experiencing a very hard comphet and couldnāt figure herself out because of the fake memories, everybody was bashing her when she was acting confused, when she was, in fact confused. i have a longer post about this specific topic, so if you guys wanna check it out itās right here.Ā
Ā coming back to calypso, first we need to clear out the misconceptions about her curse on percy that affected annabeth. she wasn't blind nor was personally attacking annabeth, her curse was to make someone feel like how she was feeling all time and thatās why percy and annabeth couldnāt reach out to one another while being right next to each other. annabethās blindness came from the titan she defeated in the sea of monsters and is actually the first curse to be put by the arai on them, so it has nothing to do with calypso. the curse was affecting annabeth because she happened to be the person percy loved and was right next to him. if percy was there alone either percy would feel alone and abandoned or the curse wouldnāt affect him at all, since thereās no person he can go back to save. and the curse itself wasnāt even a death wish type of curse she just wanted to be heard, be acknowledged and wanted free off her island. not to forget the curse wasn't harming or killing any of them yet itās still demonized more than by literally every other thing that happened in the books. nothing luke has ever done is seen as evil as her curse just because it was by her and iām pretty positive if something like this was shown in pjo by luke it would be glossed over and romanticized in the fandom. further proof of how a male character's actions get brushed off and forgiven easily but soon a female character does something even slightly questionable they get villainized on the spot.
she is also despised because she doesn't let everyone's favorite man get away with his misogynistic stuff. calypso doesn't treat leo any worse than he treats her. whenever she starts arguing it is a response to something leo has said or done, which in the most case she's in the right but leo gets so much slack from his past and being fandom favorite to be held accountable for the way he treats people. he's always been written as a misogynist, he never treated any women with any respect. he always had some sort of disrespect for every female character he seems have some sort of closure with like piper, hazel, calypso, the list goes on, but yet calypso is always expected to be more 'tolerable and understanding' bc of his trauma, as if every single character in the series isn't written upon a single trauma they had and have their character built on it. and he always had a problem dealing with others and their emotions and instead of expecting him to be working to change that, calypso is expected to adjust his manners.
oddly enough, she's also expected to show some gratitude towards leo for saving her, when she never asked him to do so and not for a second believed that he was actually going to come back when he said he would. is she grateful that he came back and freed her? yes. should she feel any obligations to make him feel greater because of it? NO. everything leo did for calypso was his and only his choice and nobody else's. calypso is happy that he did so, but expecting her to tolarate every single thing he does solely because of that is wrong.

(CW: Ranting/Venting; the fic I am talking about will not be named, nor will I give the authorās name away. Please send me a message if you want to know)
Did we even watch the same show? Heās not a caring, big brother? Heās a stick in the mud?
The only thing Iāll give you is that heās full of himselfā¦ because heās an idiot teenager with badass fighting skills and weapons. Of course heās gonna be a cocky little shit. Most people with Leoās skill would be.
Iām going to assume that you mean part of the time heās full of himself. But if you mean all the time, then Iāll correct you there. More often than not, he is actually very insecureā a very common trait among the Leonardoās.
āMaybe I shouldnāt be leading the team?ā
āItās all my fault. I let the guys down!ā
āI donāt think Iāll ever be the same againā
āIād just hold you back. You guys train, Iāll watch. Itās all Iām good for anywayā¦ā
āIām a liability to the whole teamā
āI wonāt be much help out there anywayā
Leo is a perfectionist and this shows in the way he leadsā coming across as bossy or arrogantā and how he treats himself. The guy just got out of a three-month coma after he had the shit kicked out of him and what does he say when heās by himself after everyone else went to look for Raph in the woods?
He holds himself to impossibly high standardsā both placed by himself and some of the misguided lessons he was taught.
Alright, now for the stick in the mud part. Leo is a fucking dork (I mean this in the most affectionate sense). He loves Space Heroes to the point where he quotes it during missions. He likes puns, is fascinated by Japan culture, martial arts, meditation, etc. He trains very hard to excel at ninjutsu/martial artsā both so he can help his brothers in combat and because itās a passion of his. That doesnāt make him boring in the slightest. He has some of the most ridiculous dialogue throughout the series:
āAlright guys. Letās put Old Mother Hubbard back in her cupboard!ā
āHello!? Space Heroes!? Captain Ryan! Didnāt you see the episode where they fought the Cortexecons?!ā
āAwesome! Oh, this is so rad! I feel like Van Helsing, but way cooler than him, actually. Way more rad than Van Helsingā
āAlright guys, prepare to dish out the mighty wrath of justice!ā
āWe donāt know heās gonna do anything bad. He could be on his wayā¦ toā¦ church!ā
āIā¦ donāt really have a pinky?ā
He canāt lie for shit which leads to him saying silly things:
āBe cool. Be cool.ā *answers phone* āuh.. hey man! Whatāsā¦ whatās going down? *Raph says they better have not watched the Crognard finale without him and Leo laughs nervously* W-who, us?! Of course not! But I bet if we did watch it, we would have found it anti-climateā¦ climactic!ā
*gets asked by Chloe if thereās other turtles like him* āNope! Uh-uh! Just me! Mr. Imaginary Talking Turtle!ā
āHeās just kidding, Mrs. OāNeil. Kirbyāsā¦uh.. on a.. safari! In Puerto Rico! And he wonāt be back for a while.ā
And heās not the goody-two shoes and suck up people think of him as. He has gone behind Splinterās back on several occasions, snuck out both willingly and unwillingly. The guy dressed in black and caused petty crime with his sister and her girlfriend Shinigami because he was pissed off at Shredder.
As for not being a caring brother. You mean this guy?! This Leo?! ā¬ļø
Couldnāt be this Leo, right? Thereās no way heās a mother henā being both doting and getting after his brothers.
āDonāt talk with your mouth full!ā
āMikey, you never cease to amaze meā
āLeo never left your sideā ā April when Raph was reduced to a mere plant by The Creep
āIām sorry about Spike, Raphael.ā
āDonnie, donāt lose sight of who you are!ā
āNice job, Dā
āDonnie, the go karts worked great. Nice job!ā
āMikey, come on! Itās not that bad! And Raph promises not to make fun of you anymore.ā
Not the Leo that uses all his strength and stays behind in the Technodrome holding Kraang Prime so his brothers and April can escape. Not that Leo who while just barely awake after a coma goes after a mutated monster in the woods to get his family back. Not that Leo who forced himself to stay calm so the others can be calm while they go through the most insane shit, or cannot grieve in the moment because he has to ensure the rest of their safety, so his focus during missions and battle is scattered in different places. Because he couldnāt possibly help bandage their wounds, worry when theyāre hurt and not give up on a family member. Not Leo preventing Donnie from straight up unaliving Don Vizioso because Leo doesnāt want his younger brother to do what he did and change him like it changed him. He doesnāt sacrifice himself over and over because he loves his brothers, right? Right??
#tmnt#tmnt 2012#tmnt 2012 leo#Mari rants#mari rambles#just say you didnāt watch 2012 and Iāll be fine with that#I seriously donāt understand what is so fucking difficult to grasp#Leo isnāt an asshole who is boring as hell#he doesnāt hate his brothers#he isnāt master splinters golden child or the favorite as much a you wanna think that#tmnt 2012 mikey#tmnt 2012 raph#tmnt 2012 donnie

Watching tmnt 2007 today and realizing how much Michelangelo is quietly very much on Raph's side, and I don't think anyone notices except maybe Donnie
I mean when he comes home and it's all empty his reaction ("well, this place used to be fun") kind of reminds me a lot of Raph saying things like "crime never took a break, you did." The frustration with being expected to just sit and wait for Leo to get back. And of course it's pretty much spelled out when he sees the Nightwatcher on the news and wishes it were him out there. This leads to an argument between Raph and Donnie which Mikey doesn't participate in, but in the first place it's all based on Mikey wanting to be doing what the Nightwatcher is doing (or maybe wanting to be anywhere besides at home where the silence won't let him forget who's missing).
Before the whole rooftop red and blue showdown it's also Mikey who's the most vocally resistant to Leo 'getting this team back into shape.' He plays it as a joke, but still he is the one who protests.
When Leo says 'Nightwatchman' Mikey is at least as and I think sounds more defensive than Raph in correcting him about the name
And I think the intent is that we're to read that as Mikey being a big fan of the Nightwatcher, almost treating him like a comic book character, but it hits harder if you assume (as I prefer to) that they all knew it was Raph and just weren't saying anything because he was clearly trying to keep it a secret
Mikey is also watching from the doorway while Raph and Splinter talk after Leo gets kidnapped
Even the end where he wants to hang up his Cowabunga Carl head along with Raph's Nightwatcher helmet. A humorous moment but one which emphasizes how much Mikey has been shadowing Raph all this time.
It just makes me think about his secret hopes and frustrations. Him and Donnie have been leaning on each other, but also in the movie Donnie is very... not exactly parental, but. hm. Overbearing? Mikey makes a pun and he's like "remember our talk?" Mikey's watching TV and he's over his shoulder like "why do you do this to yourself?" I just think a lot about Donnie fussing and doting with Mikey, probably a little afraid of losing him too, and Mikey feeling like Donnie thinks he's childish and incompetent.
And of course with Leo. Mikey is so excited to see him it's heartbreaking. He hugs him so tight Leo literally can't get his arms free to hug back. Mikey's expression is almost the same as Splinter's when they hear that Leo's been taken. And he's the one saying "what are we gonna do now?" 1) scared of Leo being gone again and the way have been for the past year becoming permanent 2) looking to Raph for leadership after overhearing his conversation with Splinter
I just think it's interesting that Mikey really doesn't seem mad at Raph. Leo immediately assumes that Raph is causing trouble when April is telling him how thinga are without him. Donnie definitely seems bitter about Raph's judgment towards them for doing nothing (which is fair). Mikey, we really don't see that. I imagine he's hurt about Raph not being around, but at the same time from Mikey's pov no one has been around
and at least he can see Raph on tv if they can't hang out in person
None of that to say that Mikey and Donnie aren't getting along or aren't close. But because of what the movie focused on, I guess I'm thinking sometimes I assume that Mikey is having similar frustrations as Don and they're on the same page. But that doesn't really seem to be the case.
Also him like shadowing Raph is interesting thinking about Foot Mikey later on. Like, maybe he feels like he's doing the same as Raph did or even learning from Raph's mistakes by finding himself a team to be part of so he can do something good instead of sitting around waiting for his brothers to tell him what to do. Especially since Karai and the Foot work with the turtles at the end of the movie when she chooses to honor their agreement with Winters. And there's also kind of a theme of not knowing who the good guys or bad guys are; like Mikey could be thinking 'Leo and Don thought the Nightwatcher was bad, maybe we're wrong about the Foot too'

consider: yandere turtles with an s/o who's a famous singer/actress/youtuber/whatever
obsession would start before y/n even knows who the turtles are lol
OOoOKAYY SO. Basically the anonymous fan turned stalker and obsessive maniac. Personally one of my lesser favored tropes in yandere media, but lets see.
I see Mikey as someone who's more likely to fall into this trope, knowing how he idolizes Meatsweats despite being enemies. He'd drop at any opportunity to interact with his darling idol, and he'd fork out all his money in mrs porky coin for a chance to even LOOK at them in the flesh. Tropes like these make kidnapping much harder, but it also enhances their desperation for their darling. Mostly because the yandere themselves are forced to love them from afar. Remember those obsessive fans that harrass their favourite idols? Mikey takes this to a whole new level, especially because of his more anonymous prescence as a sewer-living turtle. His darling can never catch a break with him around.
Donnie, being the autistic mf he is, would probably accidentally get hyper-fixated on his darling's life, merch, relationships, and everything revolving them. He'd lay off trying to interact with them for some time, probably wanting to bide his time and ensure he makes every interaction he has with his idol go as well as humanly possible. Thus, he becomes a very devoted stalker towards them. And he gets so deep into his obsession, he starts to realize this isn't purely a hyperfixation; he's loving them from afar in the unhealthiest way possible. Once he's very sure he knows y/n inside out, he'll start interacting with his darling. He's basically 2012 Donnie (planning how to hang out with April) when it come to his darling.
Leo is more likely to obsess over a darling who's more obscure and less famous. Something he could consider 'his little secret', which will mostly soothe his possessive nature. He'd get irritated when he meets other fans, especially if they end up gushing about his darling in front of him. In his head, only he gets to gush about them like that. Not them! (may or may not end up trying to kill y/n's other fans if they seem to like you a little too much) He likes the idea of loving y/n being his 'little secret', and oftentimes lurks around them anonymously, only to 'accidentally' bump into them and slowly creep into their life and befriend his beloved little secret.
Raph? Oh man, have you seen how he's like with Ghostbear?? I don't even need to explain him too much, but let's say the way he idolizes y/n can get very.. out of hand. He believes that y/n could do no wrong, so even if they get cancelled for the worst of crimes/actions, he's out there defending their honor like it's what he was born to do. Even if y/n goes out of his way to treat him like shit, he'll still be there taking every insult and mean word. All while kicking his feet like a little schoolgirl and twirling his nonexistent hair. He's down bad, and it gets even worse than Ghostbear.

Characters from TMNT 2003 that I personally miss (and kinda wish were in other versions)
Nano: baby robot who had a scientist mom and a criminal dad who each just wanted to use him, either just as a science experiment or to commit crimes, but all Nano wanted was a family (and he should have been adopted by the turtles, he should have been their 12!Metalhead/S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.)
Silver Sentry: Superman? The American Ideal of Truth and Justice is a Kind and Funny Black Man who is genuinely good friends with Mikey? Sign me up!
Nobody: An Ex-cop who tried to go after the corruption in his own precinct, and while he could be less of a cop, he just wanted to stop crime and make sure no one got hurt, even the gang members he went after and the billionaire that bought his old precinct and got him fired.
The Justice Force: Having a superhero team in the TMNT universe just feels right. It's a superhero universe, the Turtles are Superheros; having fellow heroes to work with and both be mentored and mentor others gives the wider world so much depth on top of the turtles having a reliable group of people to call on when things got too dangerous and out of hand.
Angel: She wasn't Casey's sister, but he treated her like a little sister and she was a good mirror character to Casey. She had all of his flaws but as a younger person he had taken responsibility for she provided a way for Casey to address those flaws in himself while helping her avoid taking a bad path.
Professor (and the knockoff Jay and Silent Bob who hung out with him): Homeless characters need to be People. Professor was a person and a fully round character and I hate it when homeless people are just props and not people.
Augustus O'Neil: April's uncle who gave her her adventurous spirit! You can really feel his influence on her personality and can tell that he encouraged her to become a scientist. (though I think it would also be fun to make him her dad. Come on! April and August? The Father-Daughter duo we deserve.)
Casey's Mom/Ma Jones: Look, sure, she was rude to April, "testing" her to see if she really cared about Casey, but that's kinda understandable given the kind of people Casey would likely hang out with (criminals and vigilantes) and she apologized immediately after. And, Ma Jones knew Splinter (the master ninja) and Leo (his best ninja student) were there and helping April pass her "girlfriend test" the whole time, but she didn't want to say anything about it to not offend her son and his friends.
The DaimyÅ: Even if he's not the runner of the Battle Nexus, he was Splinter's Friend. His relationship with Splinter let the audience know Splinter had a life outside of his family, that there are other people Splinter knows and can go to, who he can talk to about being a parent and just hang out with.

Mirage TMNT and Ideological Violence (Part 2)
Casey Jones: toxic masculinity and imitating movies where guys like you are the hero
Casey Jones is a deconstruction of a trope which hasn't been a thing since the very early 90s - the Vigilante Man. In Mirage he starts mostly as a joke, becomes an ally, and then gets a story deconstructing his whole deal.
Mirage is the kind of comic that hates people being able to start at the beginning and read it to the end, so Casey's first appearance is in a side-volume which was not part of the main series titled Raphael #1.
Casey Jones is a guy who watches too much television. One of the movies in there is Dirty Harry so he's a fan of cowboy cops. He's an uneducated white guy with violent tendencies watching movies where guys like him are the heroes and indulging his worst impulses by imitating them.
Raphael puts a stop to his rampaging, but does wind up stopping crime with him. At this point the fact that Casey is willing to kill people for stealing tape decks is a joke - he's a parody - but it's going to be less funny later.
Casey's next appearance is when the Foot break into April's home after throwing Leo through the window. Casey shows up, sides with the Turtles, and takes them all to stay in a farmhouse he owns. This marks a big change in how the comic treats him. For the next little while he's the Turtles' doofus buddy. The toxic masculinity is still there, but he's also genuinely on their side, and he's often fun to have around.
Casey immediately jumping in on the Turtles side here and offering them shelter kind of fixes what I would see as Casey's two most immutable traits, the ones that usually get carried through later versions in some form
He wants to inflict violence and feel righteous about doing so.
He will up-end his entire life to help a bunch of teenagers he barely knows.
The fact that the audience by this time sees Casey as the Turtles friend is played with when things take a turn for the serious. The Turtles are playing tag with Casey as a training exercise and while avoiding them he runs across a bunch of teenagers who try to mug him. He attacks them with his typical lack of restraint and ends up killing one of them.
The two sides of Casey Jones come into conflict. He's not able to believe that he's righteous for destroying scum when the "scum" is just a kid. Normally he draws a clear, black and white line, between the kids he'd want to help and the people he feels good about beating up, but this story is called Shades of Grey and it finally destroys Casey's black and white perspective.
Following this he abandons his mask and rather than something to aspire to his vigilante self becomes something that haunts him, a representation of all the worst parts of him - which it always was, but now he can see it.
Casey's initial reaction to dealing with this is drinking and April, who he'd previously started a relationship with, struggles to deal with it. When she learns her father is dying she leaves Casey to be with her family. Casey, not wanting to stay at the farmhouse alone, sets out on a journey to nowhere in particular.
After stopping at a diner Casey gets beaten up and gets his car stolen. And, you know, I'd remembered this as a lack of willingness to fight - especially since it's bookended with him winning a similar fight later - but he does fight back. Maybe it's a lack of confidence, or him being out of condition from the drinking, or just bad luck and being outnumbered. But he ends up injured and with all his stuff taken. A cute waitress, Gabe, takes him in.
Gabe ends up fridged, which is not a part of this story I like. She's pregnant when she meets Casey and she dies in childbirth shortly after marrying him. But the relationship between them is interesting. It's hard to say whether Casey is in love with her, although he's obviously fond of her, but they fall into a relationship very quickly. Mostly he's desperate to be something good and stable in someone's life. He cooks and cleans for Gabe, he's gentle and caring, and he finds himself again in learning he can be those things, that he's able to live a life without violence.
I don't think it's entirely coincidental he's acting as a housewife of sorts, even if it's partly because his temper is making it hard for him to hold down a job, considering how much toxic masculinity was tied up in his vigilante alter ego.
Toxic masculinity which is definitely acknowledged, because when Casey's vigilante persona shows up in his nightmares it looks like this.
It's a violent, musclebound hulk of a creature, a parody of a bodybuilder, coming to threaten the domesticity Casey has been building for himself.
The crooks that stole Casey's car return to the diner after Gabe's death. Casey goes out to fight them, beats them, and takes his car and stuff back. It shows his confidence is restored but also, like Donnie shooting someone to protect Karai, Mirage once again paints violence as not all bad. Fighting to protect yourself, or someone else, or your property, is not the same as setting out to hurt someone for the sake of ideals. In the same way the character arc for the Turtles focuses on their experiences with revenge and leaving that behind, but doesn't critique their tendency to come to the rescue of anyone they happen across who needs it.
Whether you agree with that or not, I think the work itself is more interesting for taking a perspective and drawing its lines.
At the end of his story Casey goes home first to his own mother and then to April, along with Gabe's daughter, who he names Shadow. The domesticity he's learnt to appreciate is something he gets to hold onto moving forwards.
Ultimately I really appreciate what Mirage does with Casey. Having included someone like him in the comic it takes a hard, unflinching look at what he is, and gives him a chance to become better without making excuses for him.

Blood Blockade Battlefront is New York at its Finest
NYC often gets a bad rep. Most people either see it as a smelly hellhole filled with crime and crappy attitudes or a breeding ground for hipsters and vapid socialites. People only see what they want to see without looking at the whole picture. This makes Leonardo's all-seeing eyes of God all the more important. Instead of lumping NYC into a box, he sees it for what it truly is; a chaotic blend of volatile elements.
The storytelling of Blood Blockade Battlefront is pure chaos from beginning to end. Leonardo is thrown into a world of highly deadly scenarios with very little breathing room in between. Each episode focuses on a moment in the character's life. One episode will focus on Leonardo befriending an amnesiac monster who loves burgers and another will feature a brigade of Charlie's angels-esque spies who happen to be invisible werewolves. It's the type of show that always keeps you on your toes because you never know what to expect. Some have criticized the show for its lack of an overarching plot and treat it as if that's inherently bad. Blood Bloockade isn't the type of show that needs a complex narrative. Its biggest appeal is simply seeing its eccentric cast interact with each other. Its episodic nature made watching it a breeze since viewers are never overwhelmed with too much information.
Worldbuilding is done at a casual pace where background lore is only given when it's relevant to what's currently happening. Since most characters are already well familiar with the lore, they usually cut the small talk and get straight to the action. In this way, the narrative mirrors New Yorker's aversion to beating around the bush. Show don't tell at its finest. We need more shows that just get to the point. Rie Matsumoto, director of season 1, feels a bit different about the story than I do, though. She inserted two original characters, Black and White, a pair of siblings who share a character arc that Intersects with Leo's. Under normal circumstances, this would have been an incredibly bad move. Filler in anime tends to feel pointless and just detracts from the story. Luckily, Rie Matsumoto made sure that the filler didn't feel like filler. It was fun watching the mystery surrounding the sibling duo unravel with each episode. It eventually culminated in a finale that was nearly an hour long. Matsumoto took a huge risk with her bold decision, but she definitely stuck the landing.
The production values of the show are also top-notch. Pretty much every episode is a reminder of why studio Bones is such a beloved company. They seriously put their key animators to work in both seasons. The fluidity of the fight scenes always left me impressed. Character designer Toshihiro Kawamoto did a great job at bringing Yasuhiro Nightow's art to animation with his iconic style. I love how even when Toshihiro is adapting someone else's character design, his style still shines through.
Special mention needs to be given to composer Taisei Iwasaki because he really killed it with this soundtrack. It's an eclectic blend of jazz, RNB, hip-hop, rock and more genres that perfectly captures the vibe of a busy New York City. Each track is a different flavor of the city and made me feel at home. The soundtrack truly embodies the chaotic feel of the show and captures its occasional serene moments perfectly. The true musical highlights are the openings and endings. BBB is one of those shows where you feel compelled to watch the full episode because the opening and ending are too good to skip. They're all incredibly upbeat songs that make you wanna stop everything and dance. Sugar song and bitter step is one of my favorite anime endings because of it's colorful animation and cheerful aura.
Blood Blockade Battlefront is the type of show that can really resonate with native New Yorkers. We see all the highs and lows of the city almost every day and you have to be just a little bit crazy to appreciate NYC for what it is.

I really love how well youāve written one and two, like theyāre different from Leo and Donnie because of how they grew up but itās still incredibly in character, like they are how rise!donnie and Leo would be if theyād grown up like that.
Iāve been wondering if things were reversed and it was the twins that got saved by yoshi and it was Raph and Mikey raised by Draxum (letās call them three and four because while I know theyād probably be one or two thatās too confusing lol) how do you think youād write them? Or design them? (If youāre ever interested in drawing/thinking about it for that much lol no pressure)
Like where would three and four be similar to how youāve written one and two? And how would they be completely different based on the canon personalities?
No pressure to respond Iām just incredibly interested in your thoughts and I like thinking about what ifs at 3am when I canāt sleep lol
Thank you!! That's one of my favorite things about this au
Ooh, that's a really good question. I've never thought about it before but I'd really love to work through this scenario.
If Draxum raised Raph and Mikey, I think his principles would be pretty similar. He would want to raise Raph and Mikey as soldiers, not as his own children.. but, to be honest.. I think Mikey would soften him up a little bit. Draxum probably wouldn't be as strict with Raph and Mikey as he was with Leo and Donnie. In this case, Draxum raises Raph and Mikey practically the same way, but he's a lot more lenient and patient.
Draxum would've guided Raph towards the leader role, but I think he would've trained them somewhat equally, unlike with One and Two.
I can see Raph being this outwardly calm and collected leader, who internally has absolutely no idea what he's doing and has a dash of rage issues when provoked. Unlike EMD Raph, he'd probably be less protective of Mikey just because he knows that he's capable of protecting himself.
As for the sweet little orange angel, I can imagine Mikey being a little unhinged and chaotic who can only be tamed by Raph. He's got a very unique and unpredictable fighting style and is probably a lot more reckless. He's an adrenaline junkie and lives off of danger. He's not afraid of anything, except losing the people that he loves.
I'm not quite sure about their designs, but maybe I'll take some time to think about it and experiment with it. I'm loving this spin-off au already lol.
I know this is mainly ab Raph and Mikey but I'm gonna talk about Leo and Donnie too.
I think Leo and Donnie would've learned how to take care of/look out for each other if they were raised by Splinter. Not that One and Two don't, it's just in a very different way. Without them being categorized into ranks and because there's no pressure from Draxum, Leo and Donnie can learn how to love each other without feeling inferior or like anything is expected of them. There's nothing keeping them from having a good relationship with each other. There probably wouldn't be an "older" twin, they'd treat each other as equals. It'd be so cool actually if they were both vigilantes and fought crime side-by-side. They are both leaders and just an amazing and iconic duo. When they find out about Raph and Mikey, it would go a lot differently. For the most part, I can see both Leo and Donnie/Raph and Mikey wanting to be one family, but I think there would be more hesitance with Raph and Donnie. Donnie, because hey these guys work for BARON DRAXUM of all people and Raph, because hey we should probably listen to Dad. But mainly what's stopping them from merging their families is Draxum and Splinter. Draxum wants all 4 turtles for himself, so that he can destroy the humans and Splinter wants all 4 of his sons and he won't let Draxum take them away again.
I think it'd be pretty funny if this au was basically just one huge parent trap and/or the four brothers trying to keep Draxum and Splinter from finding out the other set of brothers exist because then a war would break out between them.
That's all the ideas I have for now, not sure if I'll flesh it out more but this was really fun to think about. I'm kinda loving this idea and it could be a really fun au of the au lol

I was rereading The Blood of Olympus today, and I realized how much I just do not like Piper.
Whenever Piper is in a chapter, to me it feels like sheās always being pushy, selfish, or overprotective. Also, it may just be me with this opinion.
When Piper is in the temple of fear with Annabeth, Piper is the one who takes control of the situation. In my opinion the way Rick explained it didnāt make sense. Annabeth is the one who is always calm and collected. Even with trauma. Piper is the one who acts on impulse and what she wants, (as displayed when she jumps down the chute even though Annabeth warns her not to). Although this action may have been necessary to the mission, it what reckless.
Also, despite Piper knowing something is up with Leo, continues to treat him like a third wheel and as someone who could be sacrificed. It just doesnāt make her a likable character.
As my last little tid-bit on this topic, Piper committed crimes before becoming part of the seven. I donāt think this should be ignored as a part of her character. It shows how much she craves attention and isnāt above breaking the law to get it. There is certain things that are *somewhat* understandable for not having attention from your parents, but never should breaking the law be considered okay to do because of that.
Who knows, maybe Iām reading her character wrong but thatās the way I see her. Please dissect this.
I just want to say that, as someone who has been trying to keep it down to only Nico, to receive an ask specifically about another character I've paid no attention to surely is an experience lol.
Anyway. Let's see. From your words, Piper doesn't seem to be a likable character, which is to be expected. As far as I'm concerned though, Piper, as a character, just does not interest me enough for me to form an opinion. I'm more of a "eh whatever" or "oh. cool" when it comes to her. It also does not help that I haven't read The Lost Hero, and my brain just straight up auto-deletes everything that's not Nico-related, so you can say my grasp of Piper McLean is limited at best and non-existant at worst.
If there's anything I remember about her, then that'd be the times I had to skip some pages of her and Jason (like I did to Percabeth, bc I disliked romantic scenes with everything in me and that's nothing new).
With that being said, as someone technically blank, I feel that your dislike to Piper is already set in stone, so there's no changing to that, and it's not like you need to change anyway. I wouldn't like such a character in your description either. ššš
About that scene of Annabeth and Piper, (keep in mind that I am not aware of that scene but directly referencing it through your retelling) I think what Rick was trying is to make Piper a direct contradiction to Annabeth in terms of action repertoire - a type of recklessness to the latter's meticulousness.
(Wow Percabeth and Jiper are actually a square full of contradictions)
However. The line between 'bold, risk-taking' and straigh-up stupidity is but a fine line. I will not judge Piper without properly re-reading the whole thing (which I won't), but I can see where you get it from.
I just want to say a few words about the last part. The thing about Piper's criminal record.
I understand that, from a reader's point of view, it'd be unlikable for a character to commit a crime, specifically, to "gain attraction". Though, while the action itself is inexcusable, it should also be acknowledged that Piper - like 90% of the PJO cast - was a teenager, who grew up with barely any parental guidance (or at least that's what I remember). A figure as such is bound to make mistakes, as well as cause debates over their likeliness. I do agree that what Piper did was wrong (I mean. that's like. the law), however there's a reason and background to said wrongdoing.
It's not okay, nor is it right to do so, but it's understandable. That's all.
That is to say: fuck it. I have been resenting Percy since the day I read PJO, you can dislike Piper all you want. We're just humans, not saints. Just don't go around shitting on people with different likes then you're good to go! š¤·āāļøš¤·āāļøš
While we are at it, I'm quite curious as to how this was "ignored as a part of her character". I'm guessing that Rick failed to incorporate Piper's background into her own character as she's developed? Then that's not Piper's fault. That's just Rick and his YA writing lmao.

(stands in your doorway nonthreateningly) plz tell us more about mob au
Oh! OH I CAN YES
This is going to be VERY long so I do apologize for the long read... I'm going to put it under a "Read More" with some trigger warnings for LGBTQ-phobia, abuse, Stockholm syndrome, and well. Honestly? Don't open the "Read More" if you're not ready for what's to come. This Bayverse based Mob AU is... Dark
So, this unnamed mob au was co-created between me and an old friend of mine that's not around social media anymore.
Basically: Splinter figures out he's smart enough to manipulate from the shadows and use humans as puppets to do his bidding. He creates this huge underground crime imperium and becomes one of the biggest crime lords of New York. The Hamato Enterprise deals with weapon productions, drug deals, hitman services and god knows what under the disguise that they're Good GuysTM. Under the disguise that they're helping New York and the world around them.
Splinter is the Head Boss of all of them. While the brothers all have their own "districts". Leo, being the oldest, is set to become the new Head Boss when Splinter dies. Currently, he's mostly a student to learn how Splinter runs the enterprise. He owns a little bit of all of his brothers' districts. Is known to be diplomatic. His first choice is always to TALK to his enemies, to try and come up with something that doesn't have to result in death. But he's not a stranger to killing them. He can and he will if someone deserves it. He is proud of his standing. He's very proud of being the Heir to the Hamato Enterprises and is studying very hard under his father. Leo, like Raph and Mikey, is in an arranged marriage with a woman called Bella. While Bella IS in love with Leo, he's more like... "I like you, I do. But I don't have romantic feelings for you." The only reason they're married is for them to produce more potential heirs, namely; sons. Which they never manage to do. They try, god knows they try. They just... Never concieve, you know? Somewhere along the timeline, Leo hires a streetwise man who was caught trying to steal from him, Loukas. Loukas quickly works his way up from runner to the very top of the bodyguard ranks. Platinum rank. The Platinum ranked body guards are the ones who works absolute closest to the brothers. These guards have their own personal living quarters in the main house. Luke is also the man Leo falls in love with. This is where the problems start. Splinter does NOT approve of that. Splinter has that twisted misogynistic world view, I'm not going to go into absolute detail about it here because I don't want to upset or trigger anyone, let's just say he treats his granddaughters as a way to "Create strong bonds between clans". So, Leo starts sneaking off with Luke in secret. On the outside, Leo is happily married with Bella. They're trying to have a kid and everything is good! Behind closed doors; Leo is helplessly in love with Luke and want nothing more than to be with him. It's thanks to Luke that Leo slowly but surely starts to change his view on all of this. On his life, on what his family is doing and what he's been an active part of for close to 30 years.
Raph is the head of weapon dealings and productions and is well known as THE most ruthless brother of all of them. His method is always "Well, just kill'em." because if they're killed, there's less paperwork. At least according to him. Despise the fact that Leo is the heir of everything, because it's something HE wants. Raph has always dreamed of being the one to take over Splinter. He views the family as the one family that should rule all of New Yorks underground workings. He's in an arranged marriage with Jen. An... extremely toxic marriage. Everyone knows they're both openly cheating on each other. But she does makes him happy in a twisted, toxic kind of way. They have five kids, and is the first couple that produces a son, something Raph loves to boast to Leo about. Without a doubt the most abusive parents of the ones that are parents. I'm not going to go into details about that part because it's very dark.
Raph hates Loukas so much it's insane. But not for the reason mentioned above, he just hates him because Luke is "way too happy and nice".
He looses an eye in a fight with Leo at one point.
Donnie is the head of the security, IT and surveillance department and has eyes and ears everywhere. And I mean everywhere. If there's something he knows his family should hear or see, he can make it so.
He holds every secret the family has. Got access to all emails, bank accounts, tapped phones and everything. Splinter knowing this, has dubbed Donnie his personal right hand. Donnie is always close to Splinter. It's rare to see Splinter out of his office, but if he is; Donnie is right there next to him.
This one also dishes out a lot of the torture that takes place in his underground labs and cells. Known for using their enemies as... "toys" and "guinea pigs" for experiments. Sometimes he gets bored and decide to inject them with poison, sit back with a tablet and just tell them to "I'll just sit right here until you feel like talking", knowing they'll talk eventually. He's twisted like that.
Probably the only one of his brothers who actually and truly fell in love with his wife Alice who also loves him in a healthy way. They have twin daughters who he is EXTREMELY strict with. Being his kids, he believe that if they're "Not as smart as him, it's a waste of his time." It's okay, Alice is actually a good mom and tells him to buzz off when he goes too far.
The only one who actually knows about Leo and Loukas. The reason he doesn't say anything? He knows that if Raph was to take over instead of Leo, New York would become a war zone. Raph would wreak havoc through the entire city and Donnie doesn't want that. He's not thrilled what his oldest brother is doing, but he'd rather delete CCTV footage than let Raph take Leo's place as the heir.
Mikey is the head communicator. This dude makes connections, he hold fundraising events, he runs their facade social medias. You get the point.
He's rarely actually involved with what his brothers do. However, he does look up to Raph a lot even here. He mostly sticks to himself and focus a lot on his connections. Travels a lot. Has an extremely obsessive and addictive personality. If he loves you, he L O V E S you. He thinks about you. He stalks you. He keeps track of you. If you hurt his feelings? You're dead. Sorry, but you don't break up with him without dying. Is married to Amber. How they met isn't really figured out or stated, all that's known is that he... kidnapped her. He'd built a room specially for her in his house, where he held her. Brainwashed her into loving him, and even managed something that's almost impossible: He made her imprint on him. She's obsessed with him, to his utter DELIGHT.
SO UHM YEAH. There's a bit from the mob au that was mostly one of those fun things we played with for a while. It is extremely dark. Never decided if I wanted to actually make something out of it, but it's there. This au also has a "Good ending" and a "Bad ending". If anyone has any questions or wants me to go into those details too, I'd be happy to!!
Thank you so much for letting me rant about this, Nonnie š„ŗ

so i know you mentioned the bros and usagi and co were going to continue protecting new york and the hidden city and stuff, but i canāt imagine a job like that paying much unless they were working for the police or something. so, if you plan on them having jobs other than that, what are they?
side note: i hc leo and mikey work for hueso for at least a little while, bc we know from that one hidden city ep they would make good(ish) servers
I just answered this a bit. As teenagers Usagi, Gen, and Kitsune work for Hueso. He called Leo in when he needs extra help and Mikey on days when his staff wonāt come (mob days) Leo used to come whenever he needed a break from his family or a distraction from his thoughts. Now with his boyfriend and friends working there he basically has a part time job with how much heās there helping out and hanging out with them.
As adults their jobs differ. Yes saving the city doesnāt pay the bills.
Donnie
a software engineer. He has two companies. One that sells hacking equipment and programs and one that sells security. There always seems to be an update in his hacking software right after there is an update in his security programs. There is just enough space for the people doing truly illegal stuff to get caught but never for the people pirating movies to get caught. Does he monitor his hacking programs to see what people are doing and strategically update the security programs just in time to catch career criminals and billionaire doing illegal things, heās yes he does. - but most of his time is spent building other tech for his family or third business.
Mikey
a chef. I know I said he would study psychology if he could a while ago but his passion is food. He owns the most popular restaurant in the hidden city. The only thing he doesnāt serve is pizza as he doesnāt want to compete with Hueso.
Raph and Kitsune
They runs a non-profit helping people escape from abusive situations. Raph focuses on helping children while Kitsune helps women. They also have resources for men needing help as they know that men can get abused to and they want to help them as well. All of their siblings are the biggest doners to their project.
Leo
He goes into medicine. I think that splinter made all the boys get their education online so Leo was able to go to college/med school in the hidden city. I think heād specialize in trauma surgery as itās the closest to battle field medic. (I still havenāt decided his full path)
He does keep a list of doctors and nurses who are kind and treat patients with respect and dignity. He passes the list along to Raph so that he knows which doctors to request when the people he helps need medical care.
April
She becomes a journalist and is a big part of desegregating the hidden city and New York. Her goal is for her family to one day walk above ground without any fear.
Cassie
Brownie empire. She has a choke hold on the industry. She is playing the long game. Anytime April needs sources or Raph needs donations there is a brownie box showing up at the targets house buttering them up for her family to slip in and do what they need to. She still has her long goal, World Domination. As soon as her family is on board they are running this world. Unfortunately her family is not on board. (I will let you guess which members arenāt down with world domination)
Usagi and Gen
Body guard business. Usagi hates how much crime there is in the hidden city so he starts helping people. He gets a reputation of not being scared of any of the crime bosses. One thing leads to another and boom business. They only take jobs from people doing legal activity. Big Mama is not a fan but also wildly impressed. Sheās tried to get them under her employment for years.
They get big enough to have other employees and there is always a shift going at Raph and Kitsuneās non-profit. It is the safest in the city as no one gets through their body guards.
They also teach self defense class and will do free ones at the non-profit. The whole family will join in on those.
Casey
Author. Iāve said it before but Iāll say it again, this boy has the most popular young adult novels out there. He is just writing down that happened in his timeline and people are losing their minds. He did it to keep his memory of them alive. Now he gets fan art of him and Master Leonardo when he was growing up in the mail. He also get letters asking how he could kill cheaters off when they were so beloved by fans. (Raph and Donnieās deaths caused an uproar. His moms was expected as āall parents are dead in these kinds of storiesā) When yokai and humans are finally intermixing a picture of Casey and his family comes out and everyone can tell that the characters in his book are based off of the turtles in his life. They all get some weird mail from that.

npwd hours. have some fun facts
(this will definitely be added to/updated later)
Raph (Red) (he/she)
literally the only one who doesn't wear clothes (outside of his shorts/mask)
still does the Red Angel of Preventing Harm thing
splinter... wasn't doing great for a good while after the mutation happened (esp since on top of everything in canon he ALSO lost three of his kids)
when raph was around eight or so though he got very very sick and almost died. she tried to take care of herself because she assumed splinter wouldn't, but could only do so much. thankfully splinter found out before it was too late and was able to save her. it was a pretty good wakeup call and while he's still super depressed he's been much more present since then
Leo (Leon) (he/him)
growing up with hypno (and eventually warren) did nothing but increase his flair for the dramatic and love of magic
he was 100% hypno's assistant for shows a lot of the time. the turtle thing was passed off as a 'costume'
knows ALL the best magic tricks
warren came along when leo was around five or six
when hypno and warren got mutated they (obviously) couldn't keep their jobs so they took to doing crimes to get money. small crimes because they don't want to be a bad influence on leo but they also do need the money to put a roof over his head
they do try to hide the fact that they do crimes from leo. he absolutely knows but he lets them think he doesn't
they have thrown hands with raph on more than one occasion. raph did start going a bit easier on them after one of them mentioned at some point they had a kid at home. raph Does Not Know that said kid is leo
Donnie (Othello) (he/they)
lives in an apartment. No Space for a lab. he wants one SO BAD.
still tinkers a lot and fixes things around the house with what he can find
the o'neils have the best wifi in the state of new york
they did create shelldon! he's stuck in donnie's computer though - not enough resources to build a body
likes fashion and dresses up for fun sometimes but wears the hoodie most of the time bc it's familiar/safe
no battle shell really... they do have a fake shell but it's more for storage than anything else since they don't get in fights. like a backpack basically
no gauntlet thingy, no magic goggles - he does have noise cancelling headphones he keeps in his shellpack
they do have goggles for work (for eye protection) just not the 3d glasses lookin goggles they have in canon
Mikey (Mike) (he/she/they)
VERY in tune with his mystics (trained by draxum)
LOVES skateboarding. badgered draxum into having a skate ramp installed for them
doesn't hate humanity (and has even managed to soften draxum up a bit. not much but a bit) and actually thinks a lot of their stuff is super cool
mutating the humans was the compromise she and draxum came to rather than killing them. she doesn't see a problem with it bc 'it's better than killing all of them'
morals are a bit... looser than canon mikey's due to draxum's influence
take your kid to work day more like [draxum voice] someone will die. [mikey voice] of fun!
But Also: aww little guy - oh he's a bit fucked up actually
sneaks up to the surface sometimes to do graffiti. has ABSOLUTELY been seen more than once but thinks she's so sneaky
draxum wasn't the best at first (treated mikey like a warrior rather than a kid) but he got better. he's a good dad now
hugin and munin would both kill for her without question
mikey talks about their internet friends enough that draxum is eventually like. ok i will make an exception for three (3) humans because my child likes them
general
they got their colors bc lou jitsu tied scraps of fabric onto them to be able to tell them apart
