I decided to make a list of every fic I read each month.

I would like to interact more, but life has been complicated recently and when it comes to interacting, I get very anxious which is something I'm trying to overcome.

So, here I made this to appreciate such amazing writers and stories that inspire me and others everyday. To the authors, I want to thank them for their dedication and time spent on writing to offer us fascinating stories.

Bentobox kids! These ones I actually have some stuff on. These two are twins and they couldn’t be anymore different. Benny is distant, he doesn’t exactly talk a lot but when he does it’s always in short sentences that are incredibly blunt, he isn’t exactly a people person. Meanwhile Lenny is a lot more talkative but she is incredibly nervous about everything she does.

Midnight Tragedy! The second oldest of the kids (first is Lofty). I made this guy a bit more recently than all the others here (except Gage) so I don’t have much on them yet.

RKFDTR + Reyna Headcanons

Dynamic:

Headcanons:

💖 They would probably first meet eachother when the RKFDTR were sent to another boarding school, and Reyna was sent there for a solo mission to get all of the kids out of there that didn’t wanted to be there.

💜 Reyna would not really pay attention to them since there were a lot of kids she needed to bring out of that boarding school.

🖤 When Reyna finds out they've been 'Caramelized' she becomes really worried [and slightly angry] of what happened to them, caring for them for the next 9 days.

🤍 She needs to get used to their 'Caramelized' state, it being sometimes fun with them causing a bit of chaos to let some steam out, but mostly its just teasing her or being annoying and sometimes a little flirting.

💛 Mostly sticks by Leon [if she can] bc she knows he has abandonment issues.

🧡 Gives Connie tea, coffee, soda, sweets, etc. if she's busy.

💚 Reyna will be a bit surprised to see that Father, or Gaurdian as this is now his name, is also 'Caramelized', and even though she doesn't like him very much, she helps him sometimes with chores around the house and will make tea for him.

💙 She can and will pick Brutus up, even if he struggles to get out of her grip, because he won't get out of it. But if his Acrophobia [fear of heights] starts acting up, she will set him down.

🤎 Clings to Davis' upper body to play with his hair because it looks floofy to her.

💕 Reyna will steal Alex's kitty shirt and will hang on the chandelier if she finds out so she can wear it longer. [don't ask how she got up there]

Still can't get over my art block, so instead have all of the fake comic covers I made for my Hereafter AU in a somewhat chronological order. Maybe I'll even share the unfinished sketches I have in my folder one day, too.

So you remember that Rose Quartz Korrie design I made over a year ago? Well I made it better

In hindsight, I should've made her skin a lil more pink but, eh. Rose Quartz had a more human skin tone so I ain't too worried about it.

I've got a little "prototype" design and some notes under the cut

Loved the rose jacket but it was a lil too busy

Major design changes!

-I changed her weapon to chakrams cuz I thought it'd be neat and fitting, given Korrie's playful nature! I haven't seen chakrams as a gem weapon like ever so I thought it'd be cool. I thought giving them the ability to split would be helpful in close combat scenarios.

-Changed her gem location to her navel cuz I thought it was 1. Cuter. 2. Putting her gem on her navel draws your attention to her belly, which is a part of her design that I love And 3. Just thought it suited Korrie a bit better than one on her thigh. I really honed in on the cowboy theming. I like making Korrie wear chaps when I can cuz I really like them. Also roller skate cowboy boots are really fun.

Okay, Lore time

-So a TF2xSU AU exists, @lenny-link is the creator of the AU and I love it a lot! I just wanted to mention that before I rambled about Korrie :)

-Korrie came from a small Quartz kindergarten in West Virginia.

-That quartz kindergarten was meant to have various rose and red quartz. They were made to either be soldiers for Redmond or for the Administrator. For what reason, I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure if this fully lines up with what Lenny has planned for this AU either.

-Point is, Korrie was one of the best gems to come from that kindergarten. Every single gem from that West Virginian kindergarten was either overcooked or undercooked. None of them made proper soldiers. Almost like this was a BETA kindergarten...

-Korrie was overcooked and was the last one to emerge from the kindergarten. She was alone and confused but was found by a group of miners. They didn't know what to do with her but didn't see her as a threat.

-Fortunately for Korrie, she was unofficially adopted by a family of farmers. She'd prove to be useful and they'd keep her around for as long as she wanted but hardly any gem issues arising.

-Eventually she'd go off on her own to find other gems. She's never met another gem and she's always wanted to find someone to understand her.

-I haven't figured out how she'd get involved with the mercs but I do think she'd meet Scout first since they're both on Earth and they'd immediately click with one another

That's all I've got! But I do really like this AU and plan on drawing some fusions involving Korrie and some of the other mercs! I hope y'all enjoyed this post!

Raina's reference sheet + some extra information

Name: Raina

Gender: Female

•Half infected

•Has a sort of mentor and apprentice relationship with Guardian (this was also a big part of her original lore. I decided to keep it because I found it cute, but Guardian is going to be much less serious than he used to be lol)

•She got her scars from Lake Dipsy and Storm

•Had a crush on her friend Storm. It's a bit complicated.

•She often has nightmares of Storm.

•She tries to be optimistic, but she still has doubts.

•Kind, but violent.

Backstory:

I'm not all that sure where Raina would've lived before the apocalypse, but I imagine it was a house she shared with Storm. When the apocalypse started, they both fled to a nearby satellite station. They eventually had to leave when it was raided by Newborns. Storm was bitten by a reborn at one point while they were traveling (PLEASE TELL ME I TOLD Y'ALL THAT THEY CAN BE INFECTED BY A BITE 💀), and Raina tried to just ignore it. They both believed that as long as they treated the wound properly Storm wouldn't turn. Obviously, they were wrong. Storm turned in the middle of the night while they were at the lake/swamp (I honestly don't know what that thing is) and attacked Raina. Raina managed to kill her (temporarily) with her knife, but not without getting hurt. Her shoulder and waist had skin and fur torn off, and they were bleeding badly. She tried to make her way out of the lake, but not before she encountered Dipsy, who was responsible for tearing half of her face off (ouch). The military happened to be investigating that place (or whatever) and found her passed out. They brought her back to the base to help her. She grew attached to Guardian, although she doesn't really interact with anyone else (other than Miles and Anne). She trains with Miles, but doesn't want to become a soldier.

Extra information that I've probably already stated before:

•Raina was my first Slendytubbies oc and my favorite.

•She was originally a Laa-Laa x Dipsy fanchild. (I know I've said this a million times.)

•In her original lore, she was dating Evelyn.

•Despite being close to Guardian, she's never met Lenny. She's heard about him and she's afraid.

•In her original lore, she lived in the dome with Tinky and his friends. Dipsy was also a HUGE, HUGE part of her lore, but Laa-Laa was barely even mentioned outside of her dreams.

•Originally she was killed by one of those weird bull newborns. (I forgot their name)

•One time I said she used to have Laa-Laa's antenna, but I was mistaken. She had Daa-Daa's.

•Raina and Miles had so much beef in her original lore lmao-

Cater and Lenny - Friends -> best friends -> roommates -> lovers

♦️ Cater wishes for a best friend at starsending and Lenny shows up the next year/she wished for the same thing on a shooting star at home. When they meet, they hit it off right away

♦️She won Beans Day by using the shrinking potion to get to the size of a bean and then Cater launched her from the bean gun straight at the harp. After that, they’ve been best friends and he started calling her Lentil as a joke, then eventually just Lenny and the nickname stuck. (I LOVE beans day, probably one of my favorite events)

♦️ Cater's arc is learning vulnerability and being honest about himself and what he wants/doing things because they make him genuinely happy, not because of a persona he's trying to create.

♦️Lenny is someone who makes herself at home everywhere she goes, comfortably eating snacks on a bus or buying a plant for an apartment she'll only live in for a few months. And that's something Cater admires, since he's always had one foot out the door.

♦️When they are together he leans into her way of doing things: getting comfortable, being in the present, and enjoying life regardless of how it will look to an outside observer. She is just looking to be understood, and finds comfort in Cater who embraces her for who she is, even tho he has a hard time doing that for himself

♦️After NRC, they get an apartment together, where Cater realizes it’s not so bad to open up to someone and want them to be there for the rest of your life. And eventually he’s ready to admit how he really feels about his best friend.

NUTCRACKER AU:

I absolutely love the nutcracker and Cater’s new playful land outfit is SO nutcracker coded. There’s not a lot of substance to this one, just the joy of the ballet aesthetics + cater’s cute little outfit and the two of them dancing together

Leona and Sabine - Bickering labmates -> study partners -> dating -> she returns to homeworld to not be a burden (and becomes a lawyer 🔥) -> Leona has to team up with malleus to visit her and tell her she's worth it and if she wants to come back, she has a home with him (in the "if she says no I'll be happy just to see her one last time" way) -> she returns to twst

🔸Sabine and Leona are lab partners and they do NOT get along at first, she’s always demanding more from him. She is everywhere he looks, the botanic garden as a volunteer, Spelldrive practice where she brings Grim every morning, and all over the halls. Even though he complains, Leona finds himself looking forward to seeing her more and more and starts showing up to class just to see her.

🔸Was a pre-law student in college getting ready to take the LSAT when she got isekai’d. She’s an activist and willing to break rules if she believes it’s for the greater good

🔸Besties with Malleus who tries his best to get Sabine and Leona together, but Leona is always ready to fight Malleus so Sabine has to be their mediator

🔸Sabine's arc is that she's hyper-independent and doesn't want to be a burden but Leona encourages her to lean on others, including himself.

🔸Sabine realizes she has POTS which causes her fainting spells and days where she doesn't feel great. Leona uses his lazy reputation to get her to rest more, under the guise of skipping class for his benefit

🔸Leona wants power partly because he likes to be a leader and partly because he believes it is intrinsically tied to his worth as a person Vs. Sabine is someone who wants power to help other people and wants to make the world better. She makes Leona realize his self worth outside of being a prince/lion/etc. and also makes him believe he *can* change his world for the better and he has a lot of respect for her

🔸Leona would traverse universes for Sabine and he'll make it everyone else's problem. (He'll make Ruggie carry his extra jacket around all day if he think Sabine might get cold and need it later, etc.)

PIRATE AU:

🔸Leona in his pirate fit, Sabine in the Elizabeth Swann red dress. Pirate captain Leona can’t stop bickering with Ms. Sabine Yuusef, the only one on his ship smart enough to match his wit and brave enough to call him out. Eventually, he leans on her for help outwitting the giant sea witch Azul and they start hitting it off. When Sabine gets lured away by two sirens (Floyd and Jade), Leona will go to the ends of the earth to get her back.

🔸He IS ultimately successful and the two go on to co-captain his feared pirate ship, sailing and being in love and all that

FALLEN ANGEL AU:

🔸 The second son of the kingdom of heaven, sent back to earth for re-education. He is assigned a human to guard, but he really plans to use the human as cover while he carries out his true plan to overthrow the kingdom and usurp his brother for the throne.

🔸 He’s been assigned the aspiring lawyer and activist Ms. Sabine, someone too good for this world—in Leona’s opinion. He finagles his way into her life, sleeping in her apartment and eating her food, under the guise of guarding her and she falls for his ruse—especially on account of her fainting spells. He makes the mistake of falling for his assigned human, when he finds out that she’d be denied entry to he kingdom of heaven for crimes she committed, even if they were ultimately for the greater good of humanity. And Leona decides he’d rather tear down the walls of heaven to get her in than live in that world without her, so he risks everything for her.

🔸 Every time he breaks a rule of heaven, he accumulates more blot, so he starts with lightly blackened wings and eventually his wings are pitch black and heavy and unusable. And he succeeds in getting her through the golden gates—at the cost of his own return—letting her live a life of paradise that he won’t be able to return to.

As a request, I LOVE when Cater and Leona have alternative hairstyles: ponytail, hair down, that sort of thing. Also I just love Cater/Lenny and Sabine/Leona so for the secret santa, any part of either of their stories would probably make me combust /pos

La Vida Loca (Lenny x Fem!OC)

[A/N] - In this story, Lenny is a real person that eventually Faruk pretends to be to get closer to David & the OC.

Summary:

All her life, everyone had called it a child's imagination; a fever dream. But for Alice, everything was real.

When she would close her eyes at night, she would find herself following little creatures and shadows that moved. Ethereal figures that flickered from place to place; whispers coming from spirits in the walls and in abandoned houses.

But her power came at a cost, her mind wondering and getting lost down the rabbit hole far too easily; dissociating her from the real world around her.

Thankfully for her, Dr. Bird found her before others could. She offered Alice a home with others like her, and in return, she did her missions for the team... until the eventful day she met David and, by extension... Lenny.

Chapter 1:

Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat pocket or a watch to take out of it. Burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it and was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit hole under the hedge. In another moment, Alice went down after it, never once considering how in the world she was going to get out again.

The first time young Alice was being read that book, she was rather young. She could barely read it herself or understand a lot of what was said, but she was invested and too excited to hear her name as a protagonist in this story.

She asked to read this book every night before bed, and sleep would take her before her father could finish it. While he promised her sleeping form he would continue it tomorrow, he was unaware that his daughter was actually exploring her own little wonderland... between the stars.

Each morning, Alice would wake up with blurry moments, and each night, she would find her little feet carrying her across all kinds of places, meeting all kinds of beings. Some were hiding, others were a little too friendly, and some... well, some were just quietly following her around.

Yet Alice was never alone on those journeys. Like the character in the book, she always followed the cute white rabbit, who took her away each night and brought her back before the sun rose.

As she grew, young Alice started to see things even when she was awake. Little flickers of shadows remained at the edge of her vision, and then... people. She would talk to them, giggle, and play along, unaware that the adults around her never saw what she did.

She was young, a mere child of four, when all started, and her father dismissed it as an Imaginary friend. Heck, he even had one when he was younger and knew his daughter would pass that phase and leave it all behind.

Or so he thought.

The "friends" never disappeared, and Alice often talked to them more than she did to her peers. She was 10 by the time she started speaking of ghosts and spirits, going as far as to bring up her late mother, who had died a little after Alice was born.

It worried the Father, but he dared to dismiss it, hoping she was a late bloomer and things would pass. Perhaps it was his own grief and broken heart that was trying to move on from the loss or the hope in the back of his mind that his child was normal.

But she was not.

By age 13, Alice had trouble keeping focus. Often, teachers would find her sleeping on the desk or just staring into space. The lines between her sweet wonderland and reality blurred, time became a forgotten thing, and Alice started to lose track of when she was awake and when she was not.

Her father finally acted, asking for medical help. Thus, Alice started taking colourful, bitter pills day and night. 

They didn't seem to work, and the episodes continued. Now, her little wonderland seemed to have darkened as her brain matured, and often, things she saw became concerning drawings hidden beneath her pillow.

She was barely 16 when she was sent to a Psychiatric Clinic for schizophrenia and dissociation. The pills there did not help either; the questions of her doctors were useless, and Alice's mind started to spiral faster down the rabbit hole.

The hospital became a prison, and her wonderland might be dark, but she had freedom, power, and company.

Her saviour came a year later in the form of Dr Melanie Bird.

Alice never understood what the woman had said or what power she had pulled, but Melanie took Alice away from the doctors with the sharp needles and the nurses with the gossiping mouths.

Melanie offered her a safe place for people like her... mutants, is what she had called them when she projected her mind deep into Alice head without moving her lips.

Melanie was the most patient person Alice had ever met. She guided her step by step, and together, they made sense of who Alice was or, better yet, what she was.

She could see beneath the veiled walls of co-existent planes and travel them while her physical body rested somewhere. She could interact and influence, explore and chart, and she did.

Melanie guided Alice in understanding her powers and mission for the following years. She became the motherly figure she never had, and Alice spent the next eight years of her life helping her achieve what she wanted.

She never turned down a mission, and Melanie never stopped sending her away, using her powers for their cause. Alice never questioned anything because they were her family.

The only ones she could call those.

And so... just like Alice in the book started to forget her real family the more time she spent in Wonderland, our Alice started to forget the father, who raised her as she became more and more integrated into the world of Summerland. 

Chapter 2

Summary: Lenny has a fight with her boyfriend and ends up at Billy's door, but he's not home and she's without her key. Though Lenny insists she's fine by the time Billy arrives, he knows better.

Anvil's second in command continued talking as Billy pulled his eyes away from the computer screen they were sharing. He glanced down at the cellphone buzzing beside him, a familiar smiling face taking up the screen. 

It was late—he had come back to the office to debrief the latest job and to do a quick run through on the strategy for tomorrow’s event, but that would have to wait now. He waved Wilkens out of the office as he swiped to accept the call. 

“Hey, Len,” Billy said, shifting the phone to his ear as Wilkens closed the door behind him. “Everything alright?”

“Are you home?”

“Not yet,” he said. “Everything alright?” 

Lenny hadn’t answered his question the first time around, and a silence stretched on in the wake of his second iteration. A subtle tension prickled through Billy’s limbs as he waited on her to answer, but if Lenny noticed, she didn’t pick up on it, too caught up in her own prickling limbs and anxious thoughts. She had no intention of speaking more than she needed to, not quite sure how to put words to all of it as she swallowed the lump settled in her throat and nodded her head. 

“Len?”

“Yeah?” she mumbled, as if she’d been lost and Billy’s voice had brought her back, as if he had tugged on some kind of tether. 

Lenny had already known Billy wasn’t home. She’d already tried the bell before calling his cell, but it was wishful thinking that somehow he was home and simply hadn’t heard her, wishful thinking that there was nothing more than a locked door and a few rooms between them now. 

“C’mon. Talk to me,” Billy said. He wouldn’t tell her she was making him nervous, making him want to pull up the app in his phone that could pinpoint her location in seconds, the app he knew she’d be pissed to learn about. “What’s going on?” 

“I…um…I…don’t have my key,” Lenny sputtered out. “I…my…we—” 

Her voice broke on the truth and she pulled the phone away from her mouth, trying to muffle the sound as she reminded herself that it was Friday night and that Billy was probably out on a date. A date that she was now interrupting.

“Where are you?” he asked. “The apartment?”

Lenny nodded again, barely conscious of the fact that she needed to actually say something. A quiet affirmation came from her mouth, barely audible on the other end of the call. Billy was already on his way out of his office, already halfway to where his car was parked out in the lot.   

“Alright, stay there. I’m on my way. Five minutes.”

Seven minutes. 

That’s how long it usually took Billy to drive home from the office at this time of night, but that was when he abided by the overabundance of red lights and the stop signs, the things he ignored entirely now as he thought of Lenny alone on his doorstep. 

Lenny could handle herself when it came down to it—Billy knew that, but there was something in her voice, something in her not being able to talk to him that had him worried. Lenny wasn’t acting her usual self. 

If she was, maybe he wouldn’t have felt so worried, so keen on propelling himself in her direction as quickly as he could. Maybe. 

But maybe not. 

Whether she was fine or not, whether she was in a relatively safe neighborhood or not, Billy didn’t love the idea of Lenny standing around outside his apartment by herself so late. It wasn’t an altogether unprecedented event, Lenny showing up at his place without her key. He could no longer count on his two hands the amount of times she’d forgotten it since he first gave it to her. 

People like Lenny were the reason people left spare keys lying around, but Billy didn’t believe in the concept of leaving a spare key under the mat. The security professional in him wouldn’t allow for it. 

He idly wondered what she’d done in the time when he was overseas, and then he thought better of dwelling—he didn’t want to know how she’d managed it, though he couldn’t imagine she’d been going all the way back to her sister’s place to pick up the other spare key he’d left with Maria.

As Billy pulled into the parking spot just in front of his apartment, he watched Lenny wipe at her eyes and take a deep breath. 

“Hey,” Billy called up the steps, taking them two at a time until he met her at the top. “Everything alright? What—”

“I’m fine,” Lenny said, her voice stronger now, back to usual. “I’m sorry I called you like that. Sam and I…we had a…disagreement and I left my stuff and—”

“C’mon, we’ll go—” Billy started, taking a step back toward his car, no hesitation given to taking the ride across the city to her boyfriend’s place to pick up anything she needed. 

“No, Bill, wait. It’s fine,” Lenny insisted, reaching out to stop him, stilling Billy there on the top step with her hand around his arm. “I’ll take care of it tomorrow. Let things cool off and I’ll go get my stuff in the morning. Really, it’s fine. I’m fine. You don’t need to do anything.” 

Billy nodded. She seemed fine, suddenly a bit chipper sounding, the only evidence of her panicked call five minutes earlier was the reddened, puffy skin around her glassy eyes. 

“You really expect me to let—”

“Let it go?” she started. “Yeah, I do. It was a…just a misunderstanding. And I started it, so just…forget it, alright? I don’t want you to do anything.” 

“Alright, alright.” Billy held up his hands in a mocking forfeit. “You don’t even want me to…unlock the door?” 

“Well, that—yeah,” Lenny scoffed, “but you don’t need to…you can go back to your...I didn’t mean to interrupt your…Friday evening.”

“Nah, it’s alright.” Billy sighed. “I was at the office, but I’m done for the night,” he said as he fit his key into the lock and reached inside to flick on the lights, allowing her to step inside first.

“You want something to eat?” he asked. “A drink?” 

Billy felt like he could use one after the rush that was the last ten minutes, even if she seemed fine now as she lowered herself into a seat at the counter.  

Lenny shook her head. Her fight with her boyfriend meant she’d missed out on dinner, but she couldn’t imagine she had the stomach for anything just now.  

Billy went to the fridge to pull out a beer for himself. “You sure?” 

Lenny nodded, wrapping her arms tight around herself as Billy withdrew from the fridge.

“And you’re sure there’s nothing I can do?” Billy set a water bottle across from her and popped the cap off his beer, taking a sip. “It’s no problem. I can have one of my guys—”

“No!” she interrupted, shaking her head. “No. I don’t want you or Frank or one of your guys or anyone anywhere near him. It’s fi—it was nothing. Just a stupid fight.”

“I see.” Billy nodded, taking another sip. “You want to talk about it?” 

Lenny gulped, taking a deep breath before shaking her head. “It’s fine. I’m alright,” she offered, “just an idiot who walked out with nothing other than my phone.”

“Well, it’s a good job you had that, at least. Otherwise you’d have had to send up the bat signal or something.” 

Lenny snorted, rolling her eyes at that though she was grateful for him making excuses for her stupidity, her carelessness. It was nothing more than luck on her part that her metro card, credit card and ID were safely tucked in the card case affixed to the back of her phone. 

“I don’t think it was that serious. It’s fine,” she finally said, reaching out for the water bottle and unscrewing the top.

Billy fixed her with his gaze while Lenny focused on reading the label on the water bottle—some fancy brand that probably cost more per bottle than the beer did. Billy took another sip of his drink before setting his bottle down on the counter. 

“Well, I’m glad you’re fine and that you don’t need anything, but I could really use a hug right now,” he said, moving around the corner to stand next to her. “Scared the shit out of me calling like that.” 

Tears pricked at Lenny’s eyes as Billy’s words washed over her.

“Billy, I’m fine,” she said, her words quiet once again, barely making their way out.

“I know, I know,” he mumbled, fitting an arm around her shoulder and pulling her into his side. “This hug’s for me, remember?” 

Billy pressed a kiss into Lenny’s hairline, readying to let her go before she shifted, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his chest.

Reyna rarely gets injuries [bc of her GKND fighting skills], but when she does, she doesn't really want to get them involved

But the DCFDTL think otherwise, and worry if she goes on one of those dangerous missions.
