History repeats itself. It's a terrible day for rain.

I'm still surfing on the idea the DC/Sector Z are Ben's biological kids, so meet Emily, Lenny's mother. She was Ben's true love and Lenny was the only child Ben actually wanted, hence why he's the favorite.

But you know me, angst runs in my blood so obviously Ben can't be happy for two minutes. Emily died in childbirth, before they got the chance to get married. Then, Ben abandoned Lenny to the child protection services because he didn't have the strength to raise his son alone.

I'm trying to draw the Delightful Children From Down The Lane and the only one who turned out kinda well was Lenny.

I can't handle it. Look how happy he is!!

For those that haven't watched the actual show in awhile, this is Lenny right after he does the creepy synchronized talking thing with Sector V instead of the other Delightful Children in order to trick the workers at the coffee rig. Clearly speaking in unison does something for him. Maybe it's a comfort thing? If others speak with him then he doesn't have to face the wrath of the adult he is addressing alone. Or maybe that's pride in his ability to sync up with someone other than his siblings. Or maybe it's the fact that he's sort of leading a mission for probably the first time in his life. This one little scene fuels so much of my headcanon for both Lenny and the Delightfuls as a whole.

But mostly he is just so precious here!!! Oh I just want to adopt him and hug him and send him to therapy!!!!

I just love the idea of some tiny teenager going up to the mansion with flowers, Father opens the door and they’re just like “is Constance here?” I just need Ben to be a protective father. He’s resisting the urge to chuck a fireball at anyone who even looks at his children. Should someone actually break their hearts or bother them in such a manner, I imagine he wouldn’t hold back.

Now I’m also imagining Ben awkwardly comforting one of his heart broken kids.

I'm always down for a Wholesome!Ben idea! Ben being an overprotective father is funny as hell.

I also headcanon that Lenny is Ben’s favorite, not because he’s my personal favorite (he isn’t) but because the fandom seems to put him more on the front than the other delightful children. Or I’m just seeing these kind of posts.

I do have a whole backstory for each of the delightful children and Lenny’s explains why he’s Ben’s favorite.

Anyway, I made a few jokes about that as well.

Monty’s full name is:

Montgomery Samael Victor Uno

Samael was the Prince of devils associated with the fire element. Victor shares roots with the word victory and I think it fits him.

Ben's full name is:

Benedict Arioch Leonard Wigglestein

Arioch was a fallen angle, driven by revenge. It is said if you listened to this demon, you would be destined to live a life of bitterness, spending your time lashing out against those you believe to have hurt you. And that literally fits my headcanon of the KND not helping Ben when he needed them, then spent the rest of his life trying to destroy them, even tho the current operatives are not responsible for it. Turns out there is a demon named Leonard and it rejoins my headcanon that Lenny was the only child that Ben actually wanted so he gave his son his third name.
