Lenen Project is actually pretty fascinating. Not only do the characters have weird clothes that you really have to rack your brain to make work (my idea of fun), but their genders are also unstated, so you can really imagine them however you like. Good for someone who likes interpreting unspecified things, and with lot of potential for a diverse cast. Touhou's "everyone is a young/youthful-looking girl" isn't bad, it's par for the course for a bishoujo-adjacent series, but it's still more interesting when there are more characters of different genders. At least you can kind of have a wide range of ages in Touhou if you want, and some characters seem to be non-japanese. I am talking about prominent characters appearing in the games, of course. It's also funny how every third or so character seems to be described as an idiot, a weirdo and/or a slacker. My kind of cast!
