Yay, after Kaya Yanar we've finally got a second German celebrity who's not a piece of shit 🎉: Lena Meyer-Landrut (best known for winning Eurovision for Germany in 2010) is collecting donations for medical aid in Gaza.
Translation of her post [source where you can also see where to donate]: I think just like me most people want there to finally be peace in the Middle East. But until there is peace, we have to do our part to help the people on the ground, for example through medical aid.
Together with LeaveNoOneBehind I'm collecting donations for the aid group Cadus. Cadus is the first German organisation with a team of doctors on the ground in Rafah in #Gaza. If you can, please donate to the fundraiser and take a few seconds to share this campaign in your profile.
(Apparently since making this post, she's already been flooded with hate-comments just for fundraising for humanitarian aid for Gaza. Germany having a normal one again.)
