Festivia Finds Out
I have no idea whether I’ll actually make this a fic when I get my creative mojo back or not, so for now I’m just making worldbuilding notes for this alternate timeline.
- Crescenta, being the overachieving little psycho she is, demands an early coronation and her mother’s retirement. Festivia, being completely burnt-out from having to keep everyone happy all the time is like “Well, if that’s what you want (it’s your funeral),” and begins making preparations.
- In order to get everything perfect, because everything has to be perfect or it will be all her fault and that can’t happen, Festivia decides it would be great to have tributes to the prior queens as a sort of solidarity thing; Crescenta taking her place in the family history and getting the recognition Festivia herself didn’t when she was crowned.
- So off to the archives she goes! Only... this is weird, why are so many scrolls in such janky shape? Why does it look like her own name was just hastily stitched in? Ooh, maybe she had an older sister who died or ran off with Mum or something! Festivia figures the MHC could tell her more about her family. Sure, there was that huge fight she had with Auntie Heckapoo when she found out her mother wasn’t eaten by monsters, but this is different! She already knows Eclipsa tried to run off, so what could possibly be a bigger secret than that?
- Oh boy. Ohhhhhh boy. Festivia doesn’t even get an answer, doesn’t even get to ask, because as soon as she brings in and holds up the scrolls that show she was added to the line of queens, the MHC goes into big panic mode and she gets crystallized because oh shit oh fuck what if she finds out the truth and it gets out?!?!?! Worst of all, Heckapoo is the first to freak and order Rhombulus to fire. Heckapoo, the one Festivia thought loved her the most.
- Festivia being missing barely gets touched on. Crescenta’s mildly annoyed that her coronation party’s not perfect, but she’s QUEEN and that’s all that matters. Dirhennia’s worried because her mother would never miss a party she planned, but the MHC make up some bullshit about how Festivia was eager to start enjoying her retirement.
- Eclipsa and Globgor’s crystals are still right where they are crystallized, but poor Festivia is hidden because her being crystallized would be a lot more suspicious.
- Except Lekhmet is not happy about this. After all, he really did like her and have some sympathy for her uncomfortable position, and was the only one to counsel her to have a gentle hand with the monsters (edit: whoops, so did Omni, but obviously he’s changed that opinion given canon). And now she’s stuck in a rock to keep a conspiracy based in monster racism secret. So he starts quietly leaving little clues, hoping one of the future queens will find her.
- Unfortunately he doesn’t live to see it, but one day Star, Moon, and Eclipsa finally put all the pieces together and head for a catacomb deep beneath Butterly Castle...

It’s possible that Rhombulus had crushes on Lekhmet AND Moon.
Come on, guys, stop freaking out over whether Rhombulus was gay or not. There’s such a thing as being bisexual— which means being into both guys AND girls. And pansexual— which means being into people no matter the gender orientation they identify as. Look, I know a lot of people don’t know these terms but come on. No one seems to know this? Pansexual and bisexual people are real. There’s no need to fight over whether Rhombulus was into Lekhmet or Queen Moon— it is totally possible he could crush on both of them.

Summary: Toffee took both Star and Marco in Storm the Castle. After months of imprisonment and experimentation, they have escaped, but not without scars. Each have a half of the wand infused in their chests, along with the strange ability to turn into beasts, but both are left with little memories besides for their names. Not accepted by human or monster, they must fight for their survival while trying to regain the fragments of the lives they were torn away from.

Crack SVTFOE Theory
OK, so this has been rolling around in my head since the start of season 3. Most of it is conjecture, but I feel the need to type things out, just the same.
Time Travel Season 4 theory below the cut.
I’ve only seen the episodes, so any extra information/word of god was not taken into account.
All right, so SVTFOE has a history of giving us little-to-no backstory on its antagonists, and that could simply be part of its writing style, I get that. Not everything is spelled out in explicit detail. We have very little idea of how Star and Ludo first became archnemeses, for instance. It couldn’t have just been the wand, because she just got the wand, and I’m pretty sure she and Ludo knew each other before the first episode.
Then there’s Toffee and his complete lack of anything resembling a concrete motivation.
And now Globgore and him being stuck in a crystal with a mysterious backstory.
Heck, even Glossaryck (morally-neutral entity who came from who-knows-where) and the Magic High Commission have no real info given on how they came to take the roles they now have. Heckapoo seems like the magic DMV, and Omnitraxus seems like an auditor of spacetime, so they might be more lawful than good, but Rhombulus seems primarily concerned with protecting people, particularly from being eaten, even if he is somewhat overzealous about it.
For the first two seasons, everything built up to Battle for Mewni, and gaps in the lore could be attributed to foreshadowing, that would be resolved in the third season.
Except... that didn’t happen. Battle for Mewni was great, and Puddle Defenders rivals Mathmagic and Collateral Damage as my favorite episode of the series, but it gave us very little actual information. Ludo’s character arc was great, don’t get me wrong, and the subtext on propaganda was top notch, but Toffee apparently went batshit insane when no one was watching. He stopped Ludo from killing Star, even though she was the one who ultimately defeated him. Heck, he spent probably a year hiding in the realm of magic, only to get his body back and promptly die.
It didn’t make sense.
And even before that, the Moon flashbacks. Just in terms of writing logistics, ‘show don’t tell’ is a pretty major one, and we weren’t shown any shots of Moon’s mother, or of Toffee prior to his killing her. If things had gone down the way Moon thought they had, the writers should have shown us what happened, rather than merely telling us about the aftermath.
Then the story veered into Eclipsa being the main villain, then not, and just a whole lotta relationship drama.
It could just be writing apathy, knowing that the show was going into its last season, but I don’t think so. It feels like there’s a twist that has yet to be revealed, a hidden dimension to all of this.
Maybe there’s not and I’m reading too much into it, but hey, I was right about Pink Diamond, maybe I’m right about this too.
Anyway, my theory is ‘time travel.’
Ever since Father Time was introduced in Freeze Day, I’ve been itching for there to be a time travel plot, so this is most definitely wishful thinking on my part, but that doesn’t meant it’s not true, just that I want it to be true.
Toffee’s last words were something like, “You think you’ve won? Only I know how this all turns out!”
Which struck me as odd, because he didn’t gloat that much when he was in the magic dimension, and his prospects were much better. He almost seems more enthused and optimistic when he’s inches from death than when he was literally made of magic. Which, who knows, maybe he was just punch drunk, but the phrasing still seemed odd.
What if there’s was some Doctor Who/ Girl Genius ‘I saw the future so I know things will eventually be like X’ prophecy at work.
I had mostly written it off as WMG, until the first episode of season 4.
And the Beach Day photograph happened. An exact example of the ‘snapshot of the future’ prophecy.
Since it was mentioned in the first episode, it’ll probably be a major theme of season 4. They’ve referenced it once already, trying to recreate it (and I’m incredibly worried about Tom asking why he wasn’t there. That seems like foreshadowing. I really hope he doesn’t die).
IDK how many of you guys read the Girl Genius webcomic, but early on, there’s a scene where a future version of the protagonist, Agatha, is seen through a rip in time by one of the (then) antagonists, Bangladesh. Bangladesh wouldn’t have been able to find Agatha without seeing her through the rip in time. We also knew that, at some point, Agatha would find some sort of time portal/time machine. That was a set in stone aspect of the narrative. The story couldn’t end until it had happened. Even in the midst of the Mechanicsburg arc, we knew, in the back of our minds, that the story couldn’t end without time travel. It wasn’t winding down, it was still winding up.
That’s what this SVTFOE season 4 feels like to me. It’s just a hunch, but assuming that somebody in the narrative did have knowledge of the future, and had been working to bring about some glimpse of the future that they saw at one point?
My money would be on Toffee.
He just seems, incredibly apathetic and uninvested in what he’s doing, and I find it hillarious that he might be working off a checklist.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, the guy killed Lekhmet, he’s no misunderstood cinnamon roll, by any means.
But I do think that Toffee gained knowledge of the future at some point in his past, possibly from Star and Marco going back to Eclipsa’s time to find out more about Globgore and what happened to Shastacan.
Possibly Star and Marco will meddle in other affairs shaping Mewni’s history, or just making Star and Ludo meet in the past and become enemies.
I realize that all this is quite the reach, but until I get more data, it’s my working theory.
We’ll see what happens

Star vs the Forces of Evil - Poker Arc. It’s gonna get a little wild.
The episodes from The Battle for Mewni were a game changer.
For my point of view, literally.
The card game was already set since start, Star goes to Earth, when we see that Queen Moon and Star have card suits on their cheeks. Diamonds and hearts, respectively.
As stated in the first post of this series, we see on St. Olga's reform school for wayward princesses episode that Heinous has the clubs suits. But she keeps them always hidden from everyone. She doesn’t want anyone to see that cheek marks, except for Rasticore, as we see on Heinous episode when she sees pretty confortable to take her make up off with its arm. Well, he doesn’t have eyes at that moment but she loves so much that little arm...
And, as it happens just after Sleepover, and the shock and awe for the shippers, people may not pay attention on what happens in the beggining of Gift of the Card episode and get back only when Star and Marco wanted to hug like so everyone sees they died as - humm... cough! cough! Sorry, something in my throat - friends.
But we have this interesting dialogue in the very beginning:
Heinous: Thank you for meeting us today, Rasticore. We have a problem about some rogue princesses, which I hope you can help us with.
(Rasticore grunts and approaches)
Heinous: Destroy the blond one, but bring the dark hair one to me.
We trully understand the hatred on “Princess Marco” as the leader of St. Olga’s rebellion and Star as his/her sidekick. But why to “destroy” Princess Butterfly, while she knew her origin as Mewni Princess and keep alive “Princess Marco” unless both movements would give some advantage to her? In this case, I don’t believe in a simple revenge, like the one tried on Heinous episode.
And in episode Into the Wand, we see Queen Eclipsa’s tapestry and that she’s known as Queen of the Darkness. Pointless to show, she has the spades suit on her cheeks. Star’s reaction after reading her history?
Star: Huhuhuh. Bad girl.
And a face like “I loved that attitude. Inspiring.”.
Yes, the Poker arc intertwines with the Chess arc, but was not the main arc or the main game throughout the show. Until Queen Eclipsa arises from now on, because of the deal shown on episode Moon the Undaunted.
And even on this episode Moon couldn’t see Eclipsa as evil.
Moon: She didn’t seem so evil.
What about poker? Well, poker is not a game where luck takes the most importance, when well played. Intelligence, mathematics, odds and psychology to end the hand before the cards are shown down are way more important than luck. But it is also there. The most common poker game is Texas Hold’em, the modality in which the Main Event of the WSOP (World Series Of Poker) is played.
Remeber when Einstein said that “God doesn’t play dices with the universe”. Well, I feel he was partly right. If there is a God playing something with the universe, He would not be playing dices, but surely poker. And we would be His chips.
Eclipsa and Heinous might be doing a tactic plan that sometimes is common at a poker table: to look like something they aren’t. A tight player (who usually plays only with the most important combinations in a table) would act as a loose player (who may play with hands that some people believe that doesn’t have initial big value or bluffing, with cards which are not good to play as starting hands). An aggressive player (which is always raising hands in which he comes in) may become a passive player (which only calls, keeping the pot low and waiting what is going to happen in the other steps). Of course, the opposite may happen.
The chips (yes, ships sound alike, don’t ya?, nice choice of gaming from the show...) are the measure to see which player is more powerful at the table. But every player will play according to their interests. Everyone against everyone, until the player is kicked out from the table or changes table.
Even the poker language was used sometimes within the show, for example, in Starcrushed, Princess PonyHead (or Miss Lilacia, to the most intimate ones) first makes her bet during the emergency friends meeting while Star tried to bluff (decieve) them all:
Star: Uuuugh! So now, Marco and I can barely make eye contact because of Ruberiot’s dawn song! I mean... Marco actually thinks I have a crush on him. (Laughs nervously)
PonyHead: Yeah, but like, don’t you though?
Originally from here
In this scene, Star gives a huge tell, a reaction showing what she wanted to hide (in poker, would be the cards or the kind of the game she has, in this case, her crush on Marco) the nervous laugh, that she was lying about what she spoke before, to which PonyHead - as she knew more Star than any of the others there - answers with a question and a “poker face” trying to put her into telling the truth, “calling the bet”. Star denies - doubtfully - at first, but after her confession in the end of the episode, PonyHead couldn’t resist to show she “had won the hand”.
PonyHead: Who called it?! I called it! BOOM! (StarFan13 faints) I called it.
Bet, call, raise, bluff (deceiving) are traditionally used at a poker table. And it is like this the action plot will be structured from now on. We will have lots of characters (or groups of characters) moving according to their own interests.
We know that probably Heinous is not only seeking for revenge against Star and Marco. Some interesting questions on her:
1. Why she didn’t try anything to Star on the Diazes home, but wanted to kill Star at Quest Buy? Not to draw any attention from the Butterflies?
2. It looks like that Rasticore was in Toffee’s army when Queen Moon fought him. Did they still keep close relationship after Moon’s incident? Is Heinous a third insterested behind another war between Monsters and Mewmen?
3. The princesses’ brainwashing was intended only for princesses posture training or to control their minds in some way? For Heinous worked as a way to herself to get calm down also not to panic but also to remind what was her objective?
Of course, all what was spoken would be too clever for what she has shown us until now, I must admit, but anyway, she still has her own interests on the Butterfly family. Let’s put her in the game, but with a short stack. This way, she plays, but as an underdog.
Queen Moon, by now, has the most chips. She is the one that has everything to lose. The kingdom - to her enemies -, her credibility - when Queen Eclipsa is seen alive, because of her deal - and even the Magical High Comission support - assuming that even when Rhombulus unfroze Eclipsa, the Magic High Commission never knew what were the terms of the deal. If Queen Eclipsa is seen as not evil, even Star may get attracted to learn from her... And if everyone comes to see the effects of what the use of dark magic does on Moon’s arms? That is a lot to lose. She will play passive and try to bluff whenever needed, after all “the truth is dangerous”. But she has a card to use: Lekhmet.
Remember that besides being turn into ashes in Starcrushed, he was being carried in the magical carriage to the sanctuary in Return to Mewni. But he was not put to be healed immediately. Why? She lost him? Only three at a time? Or because she wanted to keep the healer under her hands to control the possibility of a Magical High Comission rebellion as she would be the only one to be able to heal them and keep things in an agreement? That is a question.
Queen Eclipsa is the most unknown and mysterious character in the show and how she will play at the table is a complete mystery. What we know for sure is she is a fan of dark magic, has the guts to unmarry a Mewman, being Queen, to marry a Monster, even it was forbidden and, if evil, she has the greatest poker face of all, being able to cry, faking empathy only to reach her objectives. She is trully a remarkable opponent as everyone compares magic powers to her, as she used as comparison to Star’s habilities in Baby episode.
We know also that Mewni’s tapestry is good propaganda, but doesn’t represent fully the true reality. What will be the other characters reaction to Eclipsa’s arrival to the game? What is her true self, good, evil or neutral? And with how many chips she’ll arrive and will she play for fun or for real? Wouldn’t bet a single chip on what path she’ll take. Only that she’ll do whatever she pleases.
This said, how the Magic High Comission will react with Glossarick’s and Lekhmet’s loss? Will they turn against Star and Moon? Or, maybe put daughter against mother because of other reasons, for example, Eclipsa? Well, assuming that Glossaryck and the Magical High Comission were always there with every queen of Mewni, how the loss of members may affect them? And relations were quite electrical with Moon during Face the Music. And we have seen that their own members do not agree among themselves in Page Turner and Moon the Undaunted. They may not behave as a group themselves throughout the game.
Star, poor Star, must know what she wants. She wants Marco? She wants to be queen somewhere in the future? Who she will need to face for that? What are her actual threats? What does she needs to achieve her plans, if she has any plan?
Looks like she’s playing randomly in the game. In poker that’s dangerous. Because such random player can go winning or losing hands by pure chance. And be decisive for the game. By now, she is winning. But from now on, what will happen? She may put all her stakes to lose in a few hands.
And who else more could join this game? Toffee seems to be out, playing at the Lizard’s farm, but we don’t know who are the ones in other tables or outside the game but might come into it. An example: what was wacky Mina Loveberry doing inside the Monster Table (oops!) - sorry - Temple? As we have seen B4 -couldn’t resist - Eclipsa wasn’t put as an Easter Egg in Rhombulus dimension in Cristal Clear. Because of this, I simply can’t believe Mina will be only an Easter Egg from episode Book be gone. She might be playing for something.
Originally from here
This is an example on how other players may be moving up to the main table. Multi-way play leading into multi-way pots. Poker is such a simple game after explained, but its final results and actions are rather underteministic. Can’t count that all information you have in the game is true, just in terms of odds and of what hands you might be winning or losing.
And straight flushs and royal straight flushes - the maximum results on cards arrangements - are extremely rare. You can’t wait them to do a move. Anyway, out the show, the fandom loves to bet on their favorite ships. Even the weirdest ones...
The true moves begin November... Shuffle up and deal!

Logistics: - The whole Festivia Finds Out thing now has its own tag under the Unraveled Royals AU. - This timeline splits off from canon at “Cornonation”, so nothing after that happened here. - As I have done with all my other work, I will be writing pieces of this by request during my writing jams.
More Worldbuilding Notes: - Among Lekhmet’s notes leading to where Festivia is hidden is a mention about how suspicious it was that the MHC just happened to find an abandoned purple-haired baby at the remains of a Pie Folk festival just weeks after Jushtin was spotted visiting a lady there. - Is Festivia Jushtin’s child or grandchild? Lekhmet never found out for certain either way. - Either way, Jushtin was heavily discouraged from visiting Festivia by the MHC, who claimed that seeing other relatives would be too upsetting after what Eclipsa did. However, this was at the same time they were telling Festivia that her parents had been eaten by monsters and all her other relatives were in hiding for safety. - Festivia did learn how to do wandless magic like most of the queens after passing on the wand, but not very much of it. Her best talent is conjuration, which is super helpful for parties.

Lekhmet you are missed.
Illustrations I did for the Magic Book of Spells! While most of the illustrations in the book were done by the very talented Devin Taylor, I did get the opportunity to illustrate one chapter. I wanted Estrella’s chapter to look like a sketch book. She’s an artist who likes to go out and sketch from the nature on Mewni as well as in important meetings (just like me!). Estrella’s writing is also my own handwriting! You can get your own copy of The Magic Book of Spells here!

Starfan13 Livechat 2
“This feels so cool; it’s just like I have friends; it’s the best.” I knew this would give me feels, but not this quickly. I’m sure Star would be glad to be your friend; she invited you to her sleepover!
After reading the username “FeatherStarWarriorCats,” she commented “Great names!” so while not explicitly canon, it’s very likely Starfan13 is into Warriors and I think that’s super cute.
There was a Hamilton reference but it’s not actually clear if the musical exists in the Star Vs universe so it could just be Daron Nefcy who likes it & not necessarily Starfan13 herself.
“You’re the only friends I have! Oh, and Star, of course,” well I’m glad we got that cleared up, anyway. But in last week’s chat she referred to Marco as a friend... It seems something happened.
She falls down all the time; she’s clumsy like Marco.
Honestly my favorite thing here, even better than anything in the last Starfan13 chat, I think, is the revelation that these mysterious “ways” she has of getting information on Star is at least sometimes just “She told me all about it offscreen.” She jumped out of the window after Star fell in Mathmagic, and Star told her about the time looping.
During Mathmagic she also managed to take pictures of all the alternate versions of Star.
She also has nicknames for them. “There was Warrior Star, Donut Star, Baby Star, Cat Star, Old Lady Star, Demon Star!, and of course, Boy Star, my faaaaavorite.” I’m... not sure how to feel about that last bit. I might just pretend she was being sarcastic there (ofc she could be bi & that’s fine, but that she’d like him more than the Star who is her friend...).
She says she thinks “Boy Star” would also be named Star, but she admits she’s just guessing.
She wanted to go to the bounce lounge too but had detention for throwing herself out the window in math class (that made me laugh).
She did edit herself into a picture from that day.
She knew about the Princess Marco action figures (”He gets those residuals off his dolls.”).
It’s looking like her friendship with Marco ended because of jealousy. “I guess Marco’s okay sometimes, although everybody knows I’m Star’s best friend.”
She has a clip of Lekhmet even though she said she couldn’t see through the portal to him. Maybe Star takes videos for her sometimes. I’m going with that because I like it a lot more than Starfan13 having an actual tracking device on Star with video cameras.
She speaks goat!! She can understand Lekhmet too.
Omg... “As a matter of fact, my name used to be Bethanyfan13, but we don’t really talk about that, because I don’t really talk about that.” Finally, something concrete about her past.
She prefers dinosaurs to pirates. She loves dinosaurs.
:”Oh. I do not like Oscar. I mean, he’s trying to hang out with Star, and really, she should be hanging out with me!”
She’s a Love Sentence fan too; it’s her favorite band, because of Star, & her favorite song is Awesome Feeling.
She does still draw the line at telling people secrets from Star’s diary. “That would be an invasion of privacy.”
I’m afraid something might have happened to Señor Marco Junior, because she calls her laser puppy she now. Or maybe her puppy is Señorita Marco Junior now.
Her favorite spell of Star’s is Spider with a Top Hat now (it used to be Narwhal Blast), “’cause he’s just, he’s little, but he really packs a punch, you know? He’s really kinda the coolest.”
She says went into the bathroom to make her horns immediately after first seeing Star... which is weird, actually, because in the timefreeze ep we saw her wearing them before Star had even come to earth. I guess she had stopped wearing them and started again when she met Star. Yeah, let’s say that.
“I guess Janna’s okay; she’s, you know, not--she’s, like, less of Star’s friend than me; everybody knows I’m Star’s best friend, so Janna, she’s like, somewhere down there, I guess.” They seemed to be getting along fine at Sensei’s birthday party, though.
Asked about the meaning of life: “Well, that’s kind of a big one. I mean, I would say, at least for me, it’s, it’s, ‘Find your happiness and chase after it,’ like how following Star around all day makes me happy, so that’s what I do.
“I’m pretty good with tech stuff; it’d kind of my specialty.”
Asked about Princess Marco: “I mean, not as cool as Star, but it definitely makes Marco cooler when he’s wearing a dress, so I’ll give him that much.” Fair.
She really likes her town.
Asked her favorite animal: “Well, you know, I mean, I love my laser puppy, but I also really like cats; you know, on the weekends sometimes I volunteer at the cat shelter, and it’s really nice.” Nice callback to her previous livechat!
She made her headphones herself.
Even though she does get jealous of Star’s other friends, she does love that Star has so many fans.
Oh man... she writes stories about her and Star... “All about how me and Star have the best, the best time going to the movies, and going to the beach, and we took a walk, and we rode on a dolphin into the sunset and it was so cool.” Aww.
She likes all animals “and especially--well, maybe not especially, but you know, turtles are on the list.” <3
She doesn’t mind Pony Head (I love how the question was phrased “Do you mind Pony Head?” and not “Do you like Pony Head?” since... Pony Head’s not my fave either), but “Pony Head’s probably, like, number 8 friend on [Star’s] friends list, ‘cause I take up slots 1-7.”
Star’s birthday is on Stump Day. Starfan13 doesn’t know when that is, though.
Her favorite color is purple now!!! Character development <3 I’m so proud of her, admitting to having her own favorite color now.
She plays jazz!
It ended with Pony Head carrying

isoscelesnightmare:
“ EH, DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT ! I’VE HAD A FEW WICKED HANGOVERS TOO ! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD A TIME-PUNCH HANGOVER IS - YEESH. ”
If it were possible for a BEING WITH NO MOUTH to cringe, he surely would’ve done so ━ instead, he opted for squinting his eye in distaste. His thoughts once more trailed back to the book she was currently hiding from him - hiding its importance. It seemed old, beat up, and - had it not been for her suspicious behavior, he simply would’ve regarded it as JUNK.
“ NEXT TIME, BE SURE TO SEND AN INVITE TO ME ! AND NOT A BORING ONE ! GUT A DEER AND PLACE THE REMAINS INSIDE A TRIANGULAR SYMBOL, AND I’LL KNOW STRAIGHT AWAY ! ”
The Demon laughs, GLEEFULLY. It was his CRUEL VERSION of a JOKE, yet also a SLIGHT TRUTH. There are eyes everywhere…
“ NOW, ABOUT THAT BOOK… ”
“Oh, time punch? I don’t think I’ve tried that before actually, that’s new. Maybe I can find something to conjure it myself...”
She considered her wand as she thought about it for the moment. Maybe Omnitraxus or Lekhmet would know how to? She could ask... say it was for curiosity’s sake. How much could it hurt?
“Err, I think I can do you better with the invite than deer entrails.” She hummed awkwardly. It shouldn’t be hard to come up with something, Butterflies were known for their extravagant magic after all. “But I’ll keep that in mind!”
Raising an eyebrow, she reached back and pressed a hand to the book’s cover.
“My book, hm? What about it?”
