More Colour Cracks art!! This time with the kids!!

The two did not start as friends immediantly. For a long time, in fact, Gumball was kinda scared of Leia, since he's scared of spiders ("The Date" callback 😗). But, obviously, he started seeing that she is very kind and sweet and caring and pretty... But that is for another time. For now, they recognise the "spooky" aesthetics aren't something that define her in one way

I love all the fandoms I've requested, so I'm sure I'll be thrilled with whatever you come up with, but here's some stuff to go on!

Music:

Really, the most important thing is that the song is the right one for the vid - I have pretty broad musical tastes and there’s not a lot I don’t like, although I’m less keen on the more electronic/dubstep-y side of dance music. Also please no songs from Hamilton as I’m trying not to listen to them until I can see it onstage. I really like folk music, rock, pop, 80s power ballads, female singer-songwriters with their own instruments, some country, musical theatre soundtracks... artists I like include Dar Williams, Vienna Teng, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, Janelle Monae, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Bonnie Langford, Foxes, CHVRCHES, Dami Im, The Burns Unit, Clannad, Cyndi Lauper, Dolly Parton, Florence + the Machine, Lorde, Karine Polwart, Jim Moray, Toyah, Kate Rusby, Nancy Kerr, The Decemberists, Fleetwood Mac, Patrick Wolf, Tracy Chapman, Brandi Carlile,  Missy Higgins, Ella Fitzgerald - but honestly I’ll listen to almost anything and if it works for the vid that’ll make me love the song anyway!

General:

This’ll probably become rapidly obvious with my individual requests, but I love vids about women! Character studies, friendship vids, vids about communities and teams, cute vids, sad vids, silly vids, dancey vids, people kicking ass vids…

MoonDreamers: This is my safety fandom request - MoonDreamers is a kids' show from the creators of the 1980s My Little Pony, following a group of characters who live in space and create dreams to send down to Earth children. The whole thing is available on YouTube! Whimzee, Sparky, Dreamgazer and Celeste are my favourites, but I love everyone! Any sort of vid for this would be amazing - character study or team vid or comedy or friendship or just a potted version of the show!

Doctor Who (1963): I'd really love a vid about Mel Bush - I love her curiosity and determination and I'd love something that explores her character. If you could somehow make a Mel/Ace vid that would be incredible! I'd also like a vid about Ace and all her girlfriends of the week.

Star Wars - All Media Types: I'd die of joy if you could make a vid about the women of the Star Wars universe (men could be in it too but more emphasis on ladies please!) that expresses how everyone has their part to play in the rebellion, big or small, and everyone's parts build up to a greater whole. Something that feels like that bit at the end of Rogue One - we don't all get to be the hero but we can all do something, and that something could be the thing that tips the balance. I'd love to see all the obvious main characters included, but also I love Doctor Kalonia, Dineé Ellberger/Fighter Pilot Bravo 5, Mon Mothma and Senator Pamlo. If that's too huge, I'd love a vid about Leia that incorporates TFA, or a vid about Shmi Skywalker.

Star Trek: Star Trek is my one true love so literally anything you want to do would rock, but in terms of stuff that crosses the various series, I love vids that look at a particular trope or theme across the whole franchise. So, a vid about: all the holodeck adventures/dressing-up episodes, all the courtroom episodes or a vid about the Prime Directive. Basically any idea that carries across the franchise, whether fun or serious - don't feel constrained by my suggestions here if you get inspired by something else! Also, I really ship Seven of Nine/Sarina Douglas, so if you could somehow make a vid about that despite the fact that they never meet and Sarina is only in two episodes, that would stun and delight me!

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: I'd love a shippy O'Briens/Kira vid, a vid about Chief O'Brien and how hard his life is set to 9 to 5, a vid about Kira, Kasidy, Keiko (and Leeta?) and their relationships with each other and with Bajor (although I realise that's a tall order because so much is offscreen), anything actually about Bajor and Bajoran culture (including stuff about the Emissary), a Kasidy vid or a Keiko vid.

Star Trek: The Next Generation: I'd really love a happy, cheery ensemble vid about how they all love each other, a shippy Beverly/Deanna vid, a Tasha vid, or basically anything else at all!

Star Trek: Voyager I'd love a B'Elanna character study that doesn't shy away from the sadness in her story but is ultimately uplifting and hopeful, or a vid about B'Elanna and Seven gradually coming to like and respect each other, or a Kes character study! Or a vid about the Starfleet/Maquis divide and how that slowly dissolves - the show didn't do an amazing job of portraying this, and I'd love to see a vid put a little more emphasis on it.

Do you ever spontaneously create an AU for a silly crackship that could never happen in canon? Yeah

(It should say "... EXCEPT Patrick is bi/gay" oops-) The reason it now has gained an AU status, instead of "silly offshoot" is that... I realised this actually changes things. Like. A lot. Penny is now gone, so this whole arc for Gumball and her is gone as well

Good thing that my dear beloved friend (I can't get myself to call you a slur even lovingly I'm so sorry) @spideygal was there to help with the creation of a daughter, by suggesting a dreamcatcher child!! That got me to look up dreamcatchers, see that they are named after spiders and create Leia! Really happy with her design <DDD Yes, she's a little witch spider. And an absolute baby. And can be sassy. And neither dads are exactly happy with her BF choices lol (for now, they're just a friend)
