20240618: the History of LEGO Castle day 170. 10193 Medieval Market Village (2009, 1619 pieces, 267 different parts) The Medieval Market Village is another of the very rare sets focusing on civilian life instead of conflict. The set has two two-story buildings with hinges so you can display the buildings as open or closed. Both buildings have a light bluish gray first floor with reddish brown highlights and the second floor of the blacksmith shop is mixed reddish brown and tan while the second floor of the inn is medium blue with reddish brown highlights. The market square itself is populated with a reddish brown cart in front of the blacksmith shop, a brick-built reddish brown tree with dark green 6x5 leaves, and several market stalls and tables. This set has eight minifigures, a white horse, and two reddish brown cows. -The first minifigure has a dark brown hood, a yellow minifigure head with light bluish gray beard, mustache, and eyebrows and sad black eyes, a reddish brown basket, a dark tan torso with dark tan arms and yellow hands, a dark brown collar, and a medium brown rope belt with a dark bluish gray pouch and patches and stitches, and reddish brown legs with a dark bluish gray belt. This minifigure also uses a reddish brown 4L pole as a walking stick. -The next minifigure has a dark brown hood, a yellow minifigures head with dark bluish gray sideburns, mustache, and eyebrows, a reddish brown torso with yellow arms and black hands and a black apron print, and plain black legs. This blacksmith has a metallic silver five-point crystal. -Another minifigure has dark tan "mop" hair, a yellow minifigure head with plain black eyebrows and smile with black eyes and white pupils, a dark tan torso with dark tan arms and yellow hands, a dark brown collar, and a medium brown rope belt with a dark bluish gray pouch and patches and stitches, and plain dark bluish gray legs. This minifigure has a trans clear wine goblet and a dark orange turkey leg (priorities ;) ) -The next minifigure has tan shoulder-length hair with a part down the middle, a yellow minifigure head with medium brown eyebrows and a black smirk, a dark tan torso with dark tan arms and yellow hands, a dark brown collar, and a medium brown rope belt with a dark bluish gray pouch and patches and stitches, and short reddish brown legs. -The first maiden has long dark brown hair pulled into a ponytail with bangs on both sides, a yellow dual-sided minifigure head with light brown eyebrows and a red lipstick smile on one side and an "ew" face with teeth on the other side, a dark green torso with yellow arms and yellow hands and a dark green corset with medium green wrap-around belt with belt pouch, and a black 2x2x2 slope as a printed dark green dress with white frills at the bottom. As any good maiden of any time period should, she carries a small dark bluish gray knife. -The next maiden as long reddish brown hair, a yellow dual-sided minifigure head with light brown eyebrows and a red lipstick smile on one side and an "ew" face with teeth on the other side, a tan front-print only torso with white arms and yellow hands tied as a front cross-lace shirt with cleavage showing, and a reddish brown 2x2x2 slope as a printed white apron with light brown "x"s. -The first crown soldier has a metallic silver axe helmet, a yellow dual-sided minifigure head with a scared print and a smirk, a dark blue torso with light bluish gray arms and yellow hands with a dark blue and medium blue checkered print and gold crown along the collar and a reddish brown belt, with light bluish gray legs with a black belt. This minifigure carries a flat silver spear. -The second crown soldier has a metallic silver axe helmet, a yellow minifigure head with cheek lines and a black straight-line goatee with chin line, a dark blue torso with light bluish gray arms and yellow hands with a dark blue and medium blue checkered print and gold crown along the collar and a reddish brown belt, with light bluish gray legs with a black belt.

The Medieval Town Square provides the narrative, naming the village of Felsa, home to new stories and quaint buildings from a bygone era, including the old farmhouse, cheese factory, Broken Axes Inn, shieldsmith’s workshop and the watchtower.
