Herkese günaydın 🌧️ Haftayı kapatmadan önce sizleri tekrardan Fransa’ya götürmek ve 1861 Vitry-le-François doğumlu René François Xavier Prinet ile tanıştırmak istiyorum. Ressam ve illüstratör olarak adını duyuran Prinet, savcı olan babasının terfi alması sebebiyle ailesiyle birlikte Paris'e taşınmıştır. Burada babasının da desteğiyle resim çalışmalarına başlayan sanatçının 1880 senesi civarından 1885 senesine kadar Jean-Léon Gérôme atölyesinde eğitim gördüğü bilinmektedir. Bu dönemde adı Émile-René Ménard, Lucien Simon, Charles Cottet ve André Dauchez ile birlikte Bande Noire (1) olarak bilinen, içinde genç sanatçıların yer aldığı bir grup ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Aynı dönemde eğitim de aldığı École Nationale'de Profesör ünvanını elde etmiştir. Sanatçının en iyi bilinen eserlerinden biri olan "The Kreutzer Sonata" Stuttgart'ta sergilenmiş ve Bavyera Prensi Luitpold tarafından satın alınmıştır. 1900 senesinde şövalye ünvanı kazanan Prinet, 1913 senesinde güzel sanatlar fakültesinin bir temsilcisi olarak Amerika'ya, Carnegie Mellon Üniversitesi'ne giderek açılan bir sergide hem jüri üyeliği görevini gerçekleştirmiş hem de eserlerini sergileme imkanı elde etmiştir. 1943 senesinde Académie des Beaux-Arts üyeliğine (Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi) seçilen sanatçı, 1946 senesinde Bourbonne-les-Bains - Fransa’da hayatını kaybetmiştir. (1) Bande noire (Black Band - Siyah Grup), Empresyonist çağdaşlarının çoğundan daha koyu ve daha zengin bir palet kullanan, ham veya melankolik gerçekçilik ile Empresyonizmin stilistik bir birleşimini amaçlayan 1890'ların Fransız ressamlarından oluşan bir gruptur. Have you ever wondered about the red sash on @ghmummnz ? The red sash is the symbol of Napoleon's #legiondhonneur and first decorated a bottle of #mummcelebration #cordonrouge in 1827. Napoleon was a fan of #champagne and this red sash has even been replicated on bottle art in #tintin comics. Thirdly, today for @goodmagazinenz I attended a very special tasting of Mumm Cuvée R. Laloli Vintage 2002 with chef de caves #didiermariotti Only 20 cases of this beautiful champagne are available in #newzealand $390 a bottle and worth every drop.
