for one of my classes, i had to do an assignment where I make a drawing that represents what power means to me -- I think power changes depending on context and situation but I thought it would be interesting to make art based on the concept of power when it comes to mental health if it wasnt already obvious / if I haven't already directly said so on tumblr before, Zolt is a (loose) representation of myself, and her possession by CROW is a sort of representation of my mental health struggles and how they impact my ability to communicate "properly" with others. My "mental health struggles" include (what i HEAVILY suspect to be) autism, depression, anxiety, and (although i really don't talk about it too much in public spaces) potential OSDD (related to DID but, in my case, without amnesia). I didn't mention this in my actual school post because I know it's weird to like "self diagnose" or whatever. I have no plans to try to get a diagnosis for OSDD but someday I plan to get a diagnosis for autism.

Aaanyway, I often feel like people can "see" my traumas when they look at me. I get the feeling when I interact with people (even a basic 'hello') there is something about me or my demeanor that clues people in to me being different or weird or traumatized, or *something* like that. CROW being able to show herself physically whenever she wants to means that she can effectively scare off 98% of Zolt's new friends if she feels like it, because most ponies and beings want absolutely nothing to do with someone who has a giant demon creature sticking out of the back of their neck. In this sense Zolt's experience is a bit more of a physical manifestation of something that I experience (or at least perceive myself to experience). Although this piece is simple (and, I thought, kind of lame, for a representation of power), my friend Lenn said he liked it a lot so I thought I'd post it.

For people who struggle with their mental health, finding the energy it takes to even so much as wave and greet someone can be a monumental task. Even though many people can interact with others with ease, it takes a great deal of *power* when you are aware of the fact you have a demon that everyone else can see.

Hi, never thought I'd have to say this, but to any Bayverse/TF fans out there, there's an ao3 user known as "Ddunbi107" who has word for word stolen my entire fanfic "Fate Rewritten" and posted it, with the main key differences being inserting their fetishes into it. I can't even bring myself to read it all bc of how gross it makes me feel inside.

TYRAN - Tyran's Oath

Tyran est un groupe de heavy Allemand formé en 2020, anciennement connu sous le nom de Martyr, il a sorti 2 singles avant l'avènement de ce premier opus via Iron Shield Records.

Le groupe propose un heavy metOl capable de mélanger Helloween et Anthrax avec des larmes de dragon, pour un un riffing qui crache des flammes entre heavy/hard et speed metal, un chant qui n'hésite pas à monter ces falsettos dans le royaume de King Diamond et de Rob Halford. Le groupe aborde les thèmes classiques des warriors heavy 80's avec le jus contemporain d'Enforcer et Night Demon.

Est ce que le titre « Bomber » est un hommage au Motörhead de Lemmy ? Quand au titre « Thrill On The Chase » est très hard rock et un peu à part dans la mouture de l'opus.

Mais un vent étrange s'échappe de cet opus, caressé par les grimoires d'une rythmique lourde à la chaleur épaisse. Il y a une brûlure où metal et lave comme un conjoint opiacé étrangement beau prononce ces incantations, où le groupe tisse des serpents soniques dans les montagnes de ses climats, avec du Accept dans sa forge. Façonné par les mains assidues d'un nécromancien qui mord farouchement le cœur glorifié de chaque titre, le groupe ne dissipe nullement les mystifications qu’il engendre, bâtissant cette nef d’os et de ferraille, de vérité nue, de maléfice satanique saupoudrant son rythme majestueusement, et sans jamais répandre une once d’imposture.

À l'intérieur des fragments d’acier tourbillonnent et brillent comme une pluie de ténèbres affleure la beauté d'une maléfique ardeur. Ce disque brille dans le noir saint de son abîme lié par des cordes de braises. L’on est percuté par son tumulte naissant, l'agitation des sens bondissants, du corps et de l'âme de ses ailes, là où Satan distille les ténèbres avec gloire, brûle comme le feu sur les collines. Plus vous ajoutez du noir à une couleur, plus elle devient rêveuse… Le noir a de la profondeur.

Un groupe est comme un arbre au milieu d’une forêt dense, il creuse ses racines et évolue dans son ascension. Mais il n’est point aisé de s'adapter aux changements que le temps féconde. Même si chaque pousse et feuille dit quelque chose de significatif, que chaque époque murmure un message caché dans le silence, ça pénètre et ça demeure...ça creuse et ça s’incruste...l'eau se transforme en glace et le feu en chaleur, la graine en arbre et la fleur dans le fruit. Ce groupe est arrivé après les 80's. Ce n’est pas grave en soi, l’homme est capable de soigner des plaies sans les rouvrir par la grâce de son indulgence, abnégation à croire en son art.

Ce disque est démoniaque. Il y a quelque chose dedans et vous en serez possédé.

her outfits and hairstyle will probably change a lot (just like the others) so this is just a basic idea

accidentally, she looks a bit like my oc artemis (designed by Baphometal on TH; art by pajjarrito on TH):

i generally really like the vibe of dark bluish hues with lighter blue/white markings on them so...

anyway the idea i have for her so far is that she works for the deities in a somewhat secret way but not rlly to the same extent as elise from the show; the 'government' on tyran/the deities don't have much that needs to be kept secret aside from maybe important documents, some weaponry/technologies, etc. to prevent them from getting into the wrong hands? she probably works oddball jobs for the deities depending on what they need and maybe the 'secretive' element of her work involves interplanetary/perhaps even interdimensional travel and stuff.

possibly she has to keep the interplanetary element of her work secret but the people around her generally know that she does some important work for the deities. i think that a lot of her work would involve bodyguarding, whether protecting the life of specific beings or whether protecting items or objects when it comes to interplanetary affairs. this aspect of her life needs more development for sure hsadnasnd i will probably come up with more 'government' related conflict to happen on tyran, maybe related to tyrani's past reign and trying to ensure that similar doesn't happen (it's possible that in the attempt to prevent a dictator from ever usurping them, they go to some morally ambiguous lengths..) but for now yeahhh i was originally just going to have her be named Moondancer and that's it, off of the G1 pony, but i was already worried that might cause conflict bc it might get confusing with it being a different character from the original, so i think her name will be Moondancer Elise (this also allows for her mom to be named _ Elise also so the elise jr./sr. thing is still vaguely accurate)

part of the reason i wanted elise to be vaguely inspired by moondancer from g1 (aside from the whole 'dancing shadow' thing) is because this mini storycard thingy that came with moondancer is lowkey giving elise..... tell me im wrong (image yoinked from mylittlewiki.org)

maybeee this shows my bias of thinking that elise is a LITTLE BIT OF A SASS (to put it lightly) but like im not crazy its giving elise right ?!?!?!?!?!

Tyran held the icepack to his jaw and stared at the wall. What. Was. That? He hadn’t thought much of it. Helping some kid home, a good deed nothing more. A nice little break from normal life, a way to feel like he was doing something good, something worthwhile. The girl had been young, hurt, she had obviously needed help. But was too stubborn or suspicious to admit it. Really though, Tyran should have realized something was up when she calmed at the sight of his Magic. Most people did not find comfort in Noctis Elementalism. But at the time he had just thought it lucky. Thought it might be a sign from the Maker that he was the right person to help her.

“YOU DARE!?! You would hurt her? Hurt a child! MY SISTER! To get to me, to hurt me?”

He hadn’t known. Tyran hadn’t known she was… that the kid had been his sister. Would it have changed things? Sure he and Ghost were enemies. But there was a difference between fighting with a young Elf who was already a seasoned warrior, and hurting that Elf’s kid sister. Tyran would never do that…. Would he? If it meant that much to Ghost? If it could end all of this? It would still be… too much. A line he would never cross. Right? Tyran stared at the wall as the icepack slowly melted. His body was sore, bruised, and bleeding from a dozen cuts.

“I won’t cross that line. You can never make me Tyran Orpheus.”

“Do you even have morals? Lines you won’t cross? I know Ghost does. Do you?”

Ghost was just another Lupine. A much too powerful family trampling everything and everyone in their path. He was a monster from a long legacy of monsters that needed to be stopped. Permanently.

Ghost had never threatened anyone Tyran cared about. He had never even threatened Tyran.

Ghost had a little sister that he cared about. That he loved so much he had almost killed Tyran when he thought that Tyran had hurt her.

Ghost had never fought so hard before. Never shown that much power before. He hasn’t been trying to kill me. This whole time I thought we were both trying our very best. I thought we were equally matched. And he… he’s been playingnice. Tyran slumped with the realization. He had barely gotten away. Ghost had… Ghost had almost killed him. And Tyran… Tyran couldn’t stop him. If the kid- if Ghost’s little sister hadn’t- if she hadn’t stopped Ghost, Tyran would have died. Ghost would have killed Tyran.

What sort of monster did I start a fight with? Tyran shuddered slightly. The memory of Ghost’s face, twisted into rage and pure anger, flashed in his mind. They… they should probably move base. Ghost knew they were close now. And he was angry, he might come after them. After Tyran.

You called him a monster. Why are you surprised when he acts like one?
