Me, to camera: Welcome to a Legends of Tomorrow mission in time. Today, we are in Hamunaptra on June 12, 1926. Now, why, you may ask, are we in the Egyptian desert in the middle of summer? Well, that's because an ancient evil has come back to life, and our dear friend Evelyn Carnahan has asked for our assistance.

*Cue Gary being chased by a screaming Mummy in the background, Tom and Jerry style*

Ava Sharpe (Director, Time Bureau): It's always a lot of fun. Lots of laughs and adrenaline.

*Cue Gary being chased by said screaming Mummy who is being chased by Spencer and John Constantine*

Sara Lance (White Canary/ Captain): Sometimes we run into problems, but we are usually able to resolve them. We've only broken the timeline twice.

*Cue Gary hanging from a statue while screaming Mummy is boxing with Mick Rory (Heat Wave) for about ten seconds before being frozen in place by an ice ray from Leonard (Leo) Snart (Captain Cold)'s freeze gun*

Ray Palmer (The Atom): We've been all throughout time at this point. We've fought wizards, assassins, immortal psychopaths, out own team, zombies, medieval knights. I don't think we've ever fought Mummies.

*Cue Mummy breaking free and screaming before running off after Zari Tomaz (1/2 of the Air Totem wielder Zari), who promptly sends him flying against a wall*

Nathaniel (Nate) Haywood (Citizen Steel), sitting beside Ray: No, I don't think we have fought mummies before.

Ray: Hey, this is a positive learning experience that I hope we can use to further our skills.

Nate: Yeah, bro. *Fistbumps Ray*

Sara: NATE! RAY! GET OVER HERE!

*Cue Nate and Ray jumping up to help and promptly tripping over each other and faceplanting*

Zari Tarazi (Other half of Air Totem wielder Zari): Yeah, we enjoy what we do.

*While Zari 2 is speaking, cue Nate picking up Mummy and slamming him into the ground. A second later, entire team dogpiles him*

Zari 2: It's such a healing thing to be able to help others.

*Half of Mummy's face flies past her*

Zari 2: *Smiles*

*Camera cuts*

Stephie Stilinski used to go ice-skating as a kid with Heather; while her brothers hated it, Stuart was the only one the triplets to flat out refuse to get on the ice. It wasn’t until their mother urged him to join her one day that he realised it wasn’t so bad. The Christmas before things got too bad, Stuart went skating with his siblings for the first and last time.

Lyra has oppositional defiant disorder, much to her sister’s chagrin. Over the years this has caused some tensions for Lyra, put her in situations that she would probably have been better off avoiding, and yet it isn’t something she personally has an issue with.  

Dmitry has tried to learn sign language over the years so that Annika doesn’t feel so alone; however, it isn’t something he’s ever found as easy to pick up as her daughter – and his best friend – Zariyah. He’s a little jealous that Nikolai managed to pick it up relatively easily as well, but refuses to be beaten.

Cece makes no secret of the fact she doesn’t like Thomas Shelby, but the truth of the matter is she knows that she possibly owes him for the fact Hal came back home safely. That’s part of the issue between the two of them, and one that causes the most friction.

Lily learnt to hack in a coding lesson that her school put on. It was an afterschool thing that she wasn’t even meant to be attending, but she sat in by accident and kind of fell in love with it all.

Persephone ✤ Centuries

Persephone didn’t know how she had ended up in Lian Yu, nor did she remember anything before she woke up on the island.  She had lost track of time long before Oliver Queen showed up, eventually to be followed by Sara Lance. Hopeful that the two castaways might be able to help her find answers about her past, Persephone followed Oliver to China, Russia, and, eventually, Starling City, where she joined his crusade to rid the city of corruption. No closer to unravelling her past, she’s just about ready to give up when Malcolm Merlyn commences his Undertaking.  Amidst all the chaos of the night Persephone makes her way to the Glades to begin an evacuation, where she comes across a man by the name of Rip Hunter, there to make her an offer.  He will help her scour all of time and space for information on her past, if only she joins his team — The Legends Of Tomorrow. And Persephone says yes.

OC Pride Challenge Day Ten - (Functionally) Immortal Bisexual(s)

Theodore Edward Thawne (Danny Ramirez) and Brianna Thawne (Seychelle Gabriel) - two different people, two different eras, two different 'verses; yet both Thawnes, wielders of the Blue Flame, and speedsters. The latter of these is what makes them effectively immortal - a speedster's life is indeed full of danger, yet if they manage to avoid getting killed, they essentially can't die. Most of the time they try their level best not to think about it, but it's also not something they can deny, especially when it comes to family and relationships.
