should preface this ask by saying I am not a motogp person (I have no gauge for when people are talking out of their ass)

I was reading some comments about Marc supposedly making comments on honda's development so that it would favor him instead of his teammate and by extension, pushing the bikes development so far towards his style that it sabatoged teammates in the short term and him in the long term

a bunch of these comments were basing it off stuff marc said about working with dani pedrosa (basically: "if dani says one thing I say nah I don't have any issue with it it's nbd dont change the bike") but I also saw people refuting this, saying that marc is doing it as a psych out. so idk??

how true are any of these things ig?

help marc really shouldve stayed mum on the fucking a leedle bit with dani pedrosa thing.... bc THAT combined w the decline of the honda (especially considering his teammates found it an inhospitable machine WAY before him i think primarily bc of his talent ceiling/riding style) made everyone go well marc cant set up a bike/his feedback ruined the honda. which i dont think is true !!! i think the honda got bad bc they were super complacent in developing it for YEARS bc they could just rely on marc to pull them into championship positions and then completely put the project down while he was injured and missed the boat on aero/mass dampeners/ride heights/etc... like marc has had to push back against this super recently like when he said this in a recent interview w mat oxley:

Meet Pesto the Lined Day Gecko!!!! My newest little friend!!!

Pesto was a bit of an impulse buy at the reptile expo I went to last week. I had set up a 12x12x18 enclosure purely as a bioactive experiment since I've never kept a bioactive enclosure before, but yaknow how it goes.... I had a vacancy, and I was absolutely smitten. While they'll be able to stay in this enclosure as their forever home, there's a really good chance that in the coming years when I get to move to a bigger place they'll get a nice upgrade. For now though, I'm content with the setup they have.

Pesto is really skittish around me right now, but in the coming months as they get bigger and more confident I'll start working with them to be tolerant of handling. Day geckos are more of a 'look dont touch' animal, but it's important to me that all my creatures be comfortable with me handling them in case of an emergency or for vet visits.

Thanks everyone who voted in the poll as well - I've got plans for another lizard in the works that hopefully should come to fruition within the month, but for now, it's Pesto!

i did like that they let paddy be wrong this season… like in season one even at his most impulsive and volatile all of paddy’s actions are vindicated. paranoid about the germans in the free french well he’s right. beat up his commanding officer well that guy is a homophobe. send the squad on a suicide mission where half of them die well they eventually blow up those planes so it’s justified. like the writers are all very concerned with him being ultimately correct in every situation that i feel like it gets in front of all the ways that being paranoid, contrarian, violent, and suicidal can like. suck. which is more interesting anyways
