I have been a fan of The Darkness for years. Their music speaks to me in a way that no other bands stuff has ever done. One of the main reasons I picked up guitar was because of Dan Hawkins. He is one of my ultimate guitar heroes. He is up there with Tommy Thayer from Kiss, and Bryan Adams. The unique and brutal way he plays the guitar is a style I have tried to copy, ending up in many broken guitar strings. I am such a massive fan of everything that the band has done over the years, and I have loved every single one of their songs, my favorite being ‘One Way Ticket To Hell’.
