Due to 2.5, I have realised Matilda doesn't just attract people who show their feet (although that is a contributing factor 😭), but also people who are poorer than her 😭

Kanjira needs no explaining, Mercuria technically counts due to her nature as a wanderer, and An-an Lee DOES get paid, but her UTTU interview says a few things about it 😭

Plus, it's just funny to see the contrast between the monitor assistant trying to keep peace vs the chaotic ghost hunter who may or may not add a "friend tax" of 5% extra

Even if it's most likely that Ji-su's rumored return in season 3 gonna be the same unique case as Eun-hyeok (died when they're already infected [her being heavily hinted in episode 2x03], thus being reborn from the cocoon), I don't think Ji-su herself want to go back to the living world

OH MY GOD. biting my hands. Milesganke animatic set to More Than A Woman by Aaliyah and it can go three ways. First way is that PS5 Miles isn’t dating Hailey & is jealous that Ganke is dating Andi, and starts purposefully trying to make himself seem like a better pick than her, and outright saying it once (I personally dislike cheating in stories, and i don’t think Ganke would do that, BUT imagine the dramaaaa).

Second way is where PS5 Ganke isn’t with Andi but is getting increasingly jealous/generally upset when Miles is dating Hailey and not him, and starts acting out of character to make himself seem like a better partner (i end this scenario with polyamory because I love Hailey too much to harm her with Miles cheating).

Third way is with movie Ganke being jealous of Gwen being so close with Miles and thinks that her “crush” (i personally don’t think she’ll ever act on it if that’s what it is) will actually be reciprocated so he starts trying to “be cooler” in ways that would make Miles want to date him instead of Gwen, which ends up putting him in danger sometimes. Jealousy is the main thing in all these, as well as suddenly being bold enough to say “i’m the better choice” in the end.

Jackie and Laura Lee classes?

Laura Lee is probably a cleric, but she flat-refuses to accept any of the in-game gods, so the DM is forced to homebrew a Jesus Christ variant for her. She’s insufferable, but she’s also SO excited, and she comes to healing with truly exceptional creativity that saves the party over and over again, so no one can be THAT mad.

Jackie doesn’t want to play, has to be talked into it, and ultimately goes fighter—probably in the realm of monk—because she can make a graceful hot jock. She slowly becomes one of their most voracious RPers, because she can put ALL of her real-life stress into the game. She has no idea she’s doing it.

can you imagine one day skimming the paper. its been a few weeks since all the commotion knowing your friends' had attempted to come find you but then were chased off. never actually heard or saw any of them, but you know they were around.

but you've been moved from the cells to a mattress upstairs. you're given more freedom, more wiggle room, you're allowed to do things - little hobby-type activities - you're given better foods, you're looked after by the older woman at the other house. the man who took you, who terrifies you still to some degree, slowly doesn't feel like such a stranger anymore, you're right to still be cautious around him but as the days, the weeks, pass by, there's simply a different air about him, and in the shack. lighter, in a sense.

you find yourself growing used to the new daily - the new routine. of waking to the sound of him getting ready for the day, of being left alone in there for hours sometimes, others trailing after him like a duckling, around the older womans' property, helping with an array of tasks. and you worry about upsetting her at first, unsure if doing so will earn a knife to the throat. you listen, you do as you're told, you find some kind of way to co-exist - all the while still, in the back of your mind, there's still a ray of hope,

that maybe, maybe, since the rest of them got away - that they're merely licking their wounds, that they'll get word out and even with all the silence since they had been on the property, there's that shred of hope that maybe? someone will waltz in, guns blazing so to speak, and you'll get out of this hell finally.

that is, until that day - that you're skimming through the paper, and you recognize yourself in a little column - and you realize you're staring at your own fucking obituary.

and in that moment everything seems solidified.

you're never getting away.

there's no point in it.

there's no one out there who are still trying to find you, get you back, bring you home, back to your mothers' arms, back to being an older sister, back to the circle of friends you loved so dearly.
