a bit short but i couldn’t figure out what to write 💔

Dr3w has had this stupid feeling for ages. He lies on his messy bed whilst scratching his own stomach, trying to ease this dumb urge. This is annoying… Anyone in the world could’ve gotten this mood, but it HAD to be Dr3w… His magenta hair is quite messy, he doesn’t want to brush it right now. That’ll make his want for tickles worse… His dumb and pathetic fingernails lock onto his belly as he scratches and pokes at it, until a familiar ring on his doorbell appears. He ignores it. It goes on a couple more times until the door ringer just breaks in and walks into Dr3w’s room.

‘I was wondering why you were ignoring the door. You’re just moping about in here!…’

A familiar lettuce haired goon speaks up in his annoying voice.

‘Uh bro? you okay?’

H3nry begins to gently lift off the bed covers, revealing Dr3w literally trying to tickle himself. The latter giggles at this.

‘What’s up bud? Your stomach seems to be quite itchy… Mind if I just -‘

The green one sits on Dr3w’s thighs and begins tickling his stomach, making sure to find all the secret crevices.

‘Mmphh! H3NRY!’

Defensive cackles and snickers escape the raspberry one, a slightly closed fist covering his giddy grin.

‘Hehe, tickle tickle dude! You seem quite sensitive… But especially on your belly!’

‘H3nry QUIT I-iIT!

His eyes are fastened shut as a mirthful tear of happiness gathers in the corner of his eye.

‘Heh, it was quite obvious that you’re in a ticklish mood… That’s why I’m here to help. I’m quite the good helping hand.’

‘This isn’t HEHELPING!!’

It obviously is, Dr3w finds the green haired one quite helpful.

H3nry still scatters his fingers along Dr3w’s tummy, often squeezing and prodding it. The lettuce obsessor is often a tease to Dr3w, so he makes sure to tease the hell out of him!

‘Wow, this must really suck for you, buddy. Me sat on your thighs, and tickling your stomach! Couldn’t that be any worse?~’

Suddenly, H3nry gets bored of his stomach, so he moves on to poking at his sides.

‘My god dude stohohop!’

H3nry snickers and gets off of Dr3w. He however, won’t be the last laugh.

#dc comics #dc #damian wayne #stephanie brown #tim drake #been drawing more self indulgent doodles lately which is nice #these r sort of a part of that lol #i drew the tim and damian one back when that stort actually came out it's. definitely interesting #if only for portraying Tim and Damian as equally flawed individuals (contrasted to the zdarsky batman for example)#AND unintentionally highlighted how low-key embarrassing it is that Tim is still robin. it's got a part two coming out sometime this month #and the Steph doodle was inspired by me rereading her batgirl run since the trade came out! and remembering how hard Lee Garbetts art slayed #but yeah while i figure out what to post and how- have this #the tim and damian one got like 3 likes on the bird app meanwhile the Steph one is at 1.3k w 93 bookmarks #say what you will about the bird app but when you get the right ppls attention that place does NOT have to be batboy centric #(or soley batboy centric. i like them a lot (damian mainly) but the variety is nice compared to here)

'Life in the hands of Helio'

With his throat slit, blood bubbling up into his mouth and soaking into his white collared shirt, Buddy Dawn struggles in the arms of Kristen Applebee's. His eyes are wide, unseeing, and hands come up to try and grasp onto Kristen as some kind of anchor, mutedly pleading for help.

Kristen's hand hovers above his throat, unable to help him with his death all but promised by his own party leader, Kipperlilly, and her god too far out of reach. She is panicked and resigned to only hold the kid she had hated moments ago. There is no miracle, no burst of light from the crystals in her pocket, when Buddy Dawn dies.

There is a visual parallel, with both Kristen and Buddy being dotted with freckles and something familiar in their eyes. If there had never been 'The Bad Kids', if she'd never asked to be put in detention with the intent to convert people to Helio, would she have ended up the same way?

Buddy had once said "I don't hold on tight, 'cause I'm in someones hand [...] You know Helio is holding onto us tight." but there is no Helio in sight, only Kristen. All that is left is for Buddy to go and meet his so-called-god and ask why he let him die, unaware he will not get an answer.]
