after using the same phone since 2016, I bought a new one yesterday. and I am so surprised at how little control I have over this phone. it keeps downloading random apps that I don't need, and a lot of stuff is just happening automatically. maybe I am just a boomer in a zoomer's body but I fear with the new advent of ai and shit, tech is gonna be out of the user's control and in the hands of corporations.

me 3 days before finals after wasting my entire year: time for a lot of lore dump

becoming friends with a girl who speaks the same three languages as me except my first language is her third language and her first language is my third language and our second language is english so that's what we use to converse but a person who'd only know english wouldn't be able to understand our conversation because we use so many words and phrases of the other two languages.

language is damn fun.

my parents think i'm depressed but they don't know i'm perfectly fine, better than ever. you know how they say when you hit rock bottom the only way to go is up? yeah apparantly I haven't hit that yet so i'm free falling through the planet and i've simply accepted it and calmly waiting for the life-shattering hit :)
