Me busting into Elder Predator’s chambers to chew his ass out after he ignored my gauntlet call six times in a row (he was taking a much needed old man nap)

#big guy was knocked out #being an ancient yautja is exhausting #and then dealing with my bitch ass…#oh he’s gonna bite a good chunk of my ass off when he wakes up #pardon my behavior I’ve just been very dickprived as of late #it makes me say and do things I shouldn’t #also yes I spied on him and memorized the key code to break into his chambers #he knows this already unfortunately I leave my scent behind when I snoop around his quarters #I also shed so he’s always finding strands of my hair #and I leave very small gifts around for him in places I assume he won’t notice right off the bat #but his finely tuned observations detect traces of my phantom presence #he’s contemplating setting up a trap to catch me redhanded #yes I must answer for not respecting his personal space #especially to discipline me for my poor cloaking execution #now he can’t bring any Yautja women around cuz they’ll smell me there #but let’s be real he hasn’t done that in a long time #yautja #avp elder #elder predator

#thinking about death again bc my dad texted an update on my mum #apparently she got a blood transfusion and threw up. thrilling stuff. but it just nudges at my head #bc it just makes me think. when shes gone its going to leave a trace. the outline of a person #i dont kno why i find that so upsetting. i just think about all the half completed scrapbooks that will whither away in my sisters old room #and it makes me cry. shell leave behind her incomplete scrapbooks. half tumbled rocks. containers of sea glass and lucky stones. digital #conversation thatll never be responded to. shoes and clothes #and memories. evidence of of a life no longer there to live it #and it just makes me sad i guess. i dunno. theres something sad about a project that will never be finished #a project doomed to be forgotten because it was only ever in the care of one person #but thats how it goes. what is is. nothing to be done about it but feel that sadness #i dunno. my head is full of static and frustration for unrelated reasons #but death pokes at my head during the day and i lose my already unsteady focus in an effort not to cry #im tired and sad and wishing my medication was working better #shes not even dead yet. im pulling a roman r0y and pre grieving. except for reals #unrelated

Honestly for all the "am I pushing this too far? should I pull back?" moments I have working on Thralls' outline, I am often reminded that this is actually a pretty charitable interpretation of what may have happened between OoT and TP....

#thoughts #oot #tp #thralls of power #animated project #there's a version that is 100% arguable where ganondorf got arrested immediately and the gerudos revolted guided by twinrova #and were crushed or pushed away #and that was that #and link leaving for termina only where this “issue” was “solved”#and then he died in the lost woods with zelda ruling hyrule as she grew #it doesn't feel implausible at all #of course there's the opposite take of #oh yeah the gerudos were immediately cool with the murder of their king they apparently partially worshiped and twinrova?? who cares #and they co-built a weird monument/gifted their monument to the hylians to build a prison in which to imprison and execute their own king??#and to do a weird coliseum thing about it too??? where soldiers and prisoners were apparently sent to die??#and then they just left. for no reason.#and nobody remembers them and calls them “a pack of thieves” including people who were there at the time of the execution #and the last person with seemingly traces of gerudo heritage 100% identify as hylian #anyway #it's hard to give a “nice” explanation to what happened that doesn't feel incredibly contrived unfortunately

guys this "keeping myself busy with distractions so I don't get sad" thing isn't working

#my mom is basically scrubbing the house of all traces of her bc thats how she copes. thats what she did when dad died #like two days later she was cleaning out all his medical equipment and stuff #i guess thats a way of dealing with it :( just doesnt really work for me because it makes me feel their absence even harder #like for me i personally wanted to keep Dad's stuff around for a while because. idk i guess it just felt like he was still kind of there #in a way. i guess. i dunno #obviously losing a pet is easier to deal with than losing a parent but it still blows dude i hate this #(* a parent that you had a good relationship with. i know that im very fortunate in that regard. not everyone had that and i need to count #my blessings)#idk this feels harder than losing my childhood dog because jojo was basically my constant companion for the past several years #after dad died i got suicidally depressed and didnt leave the house and was unemployed for a good chunk of time and she kept me company #taking her for walks and hikes was the only thing i enjoyed doing and the only thing that got me out of the house. she was always there #(also there's probably some psychological component to the fact that we adopted her specifically to be a companion for dad #when he was wheelchair-bound and couldnt go anywhere. so she kept him company. and then after he died she did the same for me #so. idk. like.... i feel like theres something there lol)#mia.txt #animal death

On the one hand, I don't believe Megumi and Gojo were ever too close, even if their apparent closeness called my attention since their first scene together because of the way they behaved and talked to each other.

On the other hand, Megumi was a fifteen years old with a lot of problems, a pretty bad childhood and a bit of an attitude to say the least, and Gojo, besides Tsumiki, was the "paternal" figure he could turn against

#In his 'you're nothing of mine!' phase is what I'm saying haha #I mean he sort of did that with Tsumiki already and then regretted it when it was too late #I know he doesn't speak to Gojo using the language structure that showcases closeness #But I find it so clear in their dynamic despite how little it is developed. How Megumi comments about slapping him on the very first chapte #Gojo taking pictures of Megumi because he look terribly worn down. Gojo and Megumi knowing each other‚ truly‚#their personalities and how they deal with stuff‚ before Megumi truly begun his studies in Jujutsu High at the very beginning #Megumi making that comment about how Ijichi is useless to make him leave as Gojo did #How they train together. How Megumi asked. How Gojo knows Megumi doesn't like asking him. How Gojo knows Megumi's mind #and what happens behind his decision making and how that's linked to his personality and way of seeing life #How he warns him and advices him in that very context. How that saves his life #but how also that is kinda in a way what Gojo does at the very end. The letter. The laughter. Megumi's soft smile alongside Shoko #It's not much. They didn't have a super close bond and it wasn't a dynamic the writer developed much at all #not even the 'not close' aspect of it #But yet it's there nonetheless. The clues that they knew each other first and knew each other for years and thus *knew* each other #And the fondness #So yeah I don't think they had the closest bond at all but also Megumi enhancing that they don't talking to Gojo in a distant way #because he's going through that 'you're nothing of mine/you're not my dad!' phase and thus ironically demonstrating they are indeed close #is such a funny idea to me and the fact it's sort of canon-compliant #(given his personality the traces of their closeness and the Tsumiki situation) makes it all the more hilarious xD #They're everything to me and could have been even more had they been developed a bit more. Even if just in their nothingness #But wow is their relationship juicy and interesting #I talk too much #I should probably delete this later #Ignore the typos I'm feeling lazy

It's 2024 can we please stop saying it's normal to trace or copying an entire drawing and pretending it's 100% your work? Just bc you changed the character or added clothes on a base you found on pinterest it doesn't mean you created original art

If you want to trace to learn stuff or practice or study it's ok ig #maybe don't post it online or if you have to... don't trace from picture/other people artworks/bases you found online w/o giving credits #unless it's a base an artist made specifically for tracing purposes #I think this depends on where you draw the line bc I'm much more strict abt copying/tracing from art rather than photographs 🤔#at least with photos you have to do some mental exercise for your mucle memory + simplification studies #personally I don't like tracing bc it feels lazy like are you a copyprinter 😐🤨#this vent needs some lore otherwise this looks so fucking umpromted it's almost confusing 🙄🙄🙄#kinda found out sb who was copying or tracing both from fucking pose references from Pinterest and other people artworks 😅#like poses ref ig they are ok but you should check the Terms of Condition of the original artist first. every day I wish that Edward IV's Chamber records actually survived :/

#edward iv #my post #We would probably be able to find out so much about Elizabeth Woodville #But also in general - there's so much about his own life and reign that remains so unknown due to these missing records #We would have known a great deal about finances and statecraft and diplomacy in his reign yes -#But it would have also been a personal window into his and his family's interests and habits that are currently completely out of reach #and his marriage as well! there's so much we know about Henry VII & Elizabeth of York specifically because of the survival of #royal chamber records of Henry VII's reign - but we don't and can't know the same for Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville #even his affairs tbh - Ross suggests that none of them seem to have been important/influential enough to leave any trace in any other #official record (which I agree with) but chamber records would probably clarify the exact people and timelines #We'd also probably be able to learn more about teenage Elizabeth of York! I *really* want to know more about her childhood and teen years #We also (might!) be able to know more about Margaret of Anjou during 1471-75 - at least I really really hope so #It's really a shame - these missing records mean that whole swaths of royal activity are completely invisible and out of reach #it's even more frustrating because Chamber records HAVE survived for Henry VII and Henry VIII but not for Edward IV :(#here's hoping they miraculously turn up somewhere someday lol

i feel like nomura not knowing what to do with kairi's character has a very meta explanation of kairi doesnt even know who she is and nomura lives / writes his characters so thoroughly that the quandary hes having is because shes having it too. we really live our characters when we're imaging their life and i myself have felt the total confusion, the heartbreak, the love, the fury, the betrayal, the anger of some characters as emotions completely separate from mine so it makes sense for him to be "stuck" / not utilizing her until now because he didnt know where she fit in because kairi didnt know her place in the universe either

#kairi posting #og #all of the kh characters have such distinct lives and voices and feelings and kairi consistently has no idea who she is. her personality in #kh1 is her best approximation of what she thought she was like before having amnesia #or its a completely new self she created because she lost all traces of herself (parallels sora namine roxas ven and castle oblivion to kai #does anyone know whati mean. nomura seems to be very method in his creative style so it would make sense to me. he also explains how he #leaves stuff on the backburner and leaves clues for himself throughout the univserse to utilize later and it seems its kairis time #its also just further prove that kh is originally about sora and riku and their relationship. kairi has always unfortuanetly been an #afterthought and a plot piece to move sora and rikus story along (even riku is 'inspired' by her and only does stuff bc she is there to not #forcefully make him) but i hope thats no longer the case. well see tho....
