that i haven't EVER drawn before?? nah. my oc creation process is 100% a doodle-out approach, i get a design first and then i think about who the fuck this guy is lol

that i haven't drawn on THIS blog? yeah, i believe so. my college capstone project was a comic concept with a decent sized cast, and I don't think I have visited any of them here! maybe I will pick back up with them at some point, but unfortunately school being school did put kind of a nasty aftertaste on all my guys, PLUS there are some design things I would probably do differently now. so maybe y'all will see the reworked and refined versions someday!

Today was my first day in charge of our other office, it’s just me and one other person, it was boring and a bit confusing because it’s basically the backrooms and one of my routes takes me through a block’s worth of cubicles and I hate all these office girlies staring at me because they really liked the guy that got fired and don’t know how to feel about me being just some young dyke, but it went well, I don’t think I’ll have any problems. Within a week I’ll get my routes down and then the only challenging part will be handling emails because these ppl are really spoiled and expect me to go way outside my job description but I can just forward to my manager and say “please help” at the end of the day. I think whoever designed this building tho should have been shot by firing squad having only a singular, small freight elevator is beyond stupid, and i hate navigating narrow hallways that go on forever im so afraid we’ll lose power and it will become house of leaves (corporate hq edition). Oh well at least i got a raise.

the absolute lack of awareness and consideration some people have continues to astound me. (personal life rant under the cut)

i live in an apartment complex with a neighbor across the breezeway who regularly plays music so loud i can make out THE WORDS in my own living room

and a downstairs neighbor with a sound system up against the wall so when they watch a movie it vibrates our floors despite us repeatedly going down to ask them to do something about it, be it adjust the bass or move the sound system or just simply turn it down a little (and every time they’re snippy with us about it)

and people who like to gather at the pool right across from our building and play loud music until past midnight ON WEEKNIGHTS

i’m all for people having fun in their homes and enjoying life and music and parties and whatever. but also it takes just a minute to consider that there are other people existing around you and be considerate of them

now that miss piss has been spayed hopefully she will stop marking in the office? drenched the carpet in enzymatic cleaner, it’s over the balcony railing to dry in the sun, had to move/mop everything in the office in three sections with the appropriate dwell time to let the enzymes work. there are muscles in my back i forgot about and only know they’re there bc they hurt. please clap.
