Bound by Devotion

The rug was soft beneath her palms, the fibers rich and thick, absorbing the tremble in her fingers as she pressed herself lower. The weight of him rested against her back, firm yet effortless, as if she were nothing more than an extension of the chair, another piece of furniture arranged for his comfort. And perhaps, in this moment, she was.

Her breath was slow, controlled. It had to be. The corset beneath her lace-trimmed uniform was cinched tight, molding her body into the shape he preferred—curves accentuated, posture unrelenting. Even in her submission, there was an art to it. The delicate fabric of her dress stretched across her thighs as she shifted slightly, trying to distribute the pressure of his boot, though she dared not move too much. She knew better.

Above her, he exhaled leisurely, a man at peace, reclining in his throne of gold and brocade. His fingers tapped against the armrest, an idle rhythm, one she had learned to decipher. Sometimes, it meant impatience. Other times, amusement. Tonight, she wasn’t sure.

She wished she could see him. The angles did not allow it, but she could picture him perfectly—his dark gaze half-lidded, lips curled in the faintest hint of a smirk, knowing she was beneath him, held there by nothing but her own choice. Or was it choice at all? It didn’t matter anymore.

Her thighs ached from holding the position, her spine arching slightly to keep the balance, her breath shallow, controlled. Not because she was uncomfortable���discomfort was expected, even embraced—but because the moment was delicate. The wrong movement could end it.

The fire crackled in the hearth, the flickering flames casting shadows along the gilded edges of the room. The chandelier’s crystals caught the light, sending tiny shards of gold and amber across the polished floor. The world outside did not exist here. Only this moment, this stillness, this quiet offering of self.

She had given up asking why long ago. What use were questions when the answer had always been the same? She was here because she was meant to be. Because she had been shaped for this. Because she belonged to him.

His boot shifted—just slightly—pressing down. Not harsh, not cruel, but enough. Enough to remind her.

Her eyes fluttered shut as she exhaled. A shiver ran down her spine, a pulse of something deeper than mere obedience, more profound than devotion.

She did not speak.

She did not need to.

For she was his.

1st Week; 5 pieces that every Lolita wardrobe should have, regardless of style

Hii ʕ ᵔᴥᵔ ʔ, 

As research for this challenge, I went through my oldest blog and found out that this is actually the third time I´m attempting this. And that I actually forgot what my first lolita piece was, but that´s a story for another time. I didn´t want to go for the obvious - petticoat, white blouse, etc. What do you consider universal essentials? 1. Earmuffs Can you tell that I´m freezing right now? :D Earmuffs are not always practical. They get in a way, you can´t hear through them, and at least I hate using them at the same time as my headphones. Unfortunately, they are so damn cute. And accesible. And I feel like they balance every outfit out so nicely. You have nothing to put on your head? You don´t feel like doing an elaborate hairdo? Well, if it´s cold outside, here are earmuffs! 2. Fan If you have the oposite problem, a fan might help you. Simple black, pink, or one with patterns can be easy to get. You can go for more elaborate one, almost like from Versailles. Some european courts even had a fan language – you can learn some phrases with you friends and use it at meetups, just make sure no one else understands before you sign anything scandalous! :D

3. Brooches You wanted to be casual, but not so casual? Or you don´t feel OTT enough, yet your arms, neck and head don´t have any spare space? Well, cute brooche is your best friend. You can go for elegant pearls, little leaf (I do think about Fellowship of the Ring a lot) or something outragiously extravagant, it´s up to you! And since not everyone wears them, it can gather some attention from fellow lolitas and maybe even become a great conversation starter.

4. Go-to headpiece I feel like I covered this with earmuffs, but I think this is way more helpful whole year around. Do you have any piece, as simple as can be, that you always just throw on? It doesn´t have to go with every single one of your pieces, but it would be helpful. For me, it used to be Margaretha Head Bow, now I prefer simple black headbows. It can be a small bonnet, head-eating bow, or anything that makes your coords feel more complete.

5. Huge collection of socks and tighs I used to hate getting those under Christmastree, now I specifically request this every year. It´s just so helpful! Not just simple black OTKs in many pairs, but colourful (remember the red thighs trend?), with patterns, lace even… not to mention few matching ones if you are into prints. I think that everyone, even outside the lolita spectrum should have a collection of sock and tighs!

Right now, Paris is getting a little bit warmer. Which is nice, but I´m still looking for new black blazer. It´s such a staple of 80s goth. I already have at least three coats, so it will be a nice change. 

Even chilly weather can´t stop us from having a picnic. I went this Monday, maybe chatched a flu, but it was worth it! We went to Jardin de Luxembourg and then to Gibert, this nice 5 floor bookshop. They had amazing renditions of classics as Metamorphosis from Kafka and even a Dracula, but I bought French conversation instead.  Then we had another picnic near Seina, complete with a jazz band playing behind us. I don´t know if I have ever felt so peaceful.

When it comes to relationships (ive never been in one and wld probably cry if i got my hand held bc itd be so overwhelming and kinda awesome,,,) i prefer commitment and can get really attached super easily i fear. I headcanon that Brain Damaged takes place post-Paradise Lost from Postal 2. For a while, he just stays in his trailer to cool off from all the events of everything that fucking happened. Dude is fucking tired of everyone so it’s a miracle he met a cute femboy enby who he can just vibe with from the noise outside

He’s all for your special interests, especially when it comes to video games and internet archival stuff. The Dude has surprisingly deep knowledge for lost media too. I can see you blowing his mind with some of the stuff you have collected over the years. Oh and Dude has some serious munchies so it’s heavily appreciates that you can actually cook stuff! But he will steal your french fries in addition to him already having his own.

Dude has paranoid delusions too. Usually coming from his nightmares. But he’ll do his best to try and comfort you. While he lacks in expressing himself in words (that have niche references every 0.5 seconds), he can at least be by your side to provide a way to ride it out. I think you and Ruby would compliment each other really well. You’re similar enough to match each other’s energy while also having your differences being able to bring out the best in the other person.

You two met when B Komichi was making its comeback with their new members. So far they had been using the songs from their predecessors to get by, but the strawberry productions knew they were gonna need to produce some new songs and soon: and that’s where you came in.

You see in this universe you were an up and coming composer. Creating songs using Vocolaid synthesizers (srry if the terms are wrong or this isn’t how it works i don’t know a whole lot about Vocolaid.) and uploading them to YouTube. Your songs would get hundreds of thousands of views within hours of them being uploaded.

One day you got an email from Strawberry productions on about a business proposal about being B Komichi’s new composer. Despite being nervous you took a leap of faith and accepted the offer. After a few meetings you were officially a member of Strawberry productions.

In order for you to produce songs that best fit the new B Komichi image, they decided to set designated time for you to spend with the girls one on one and then as a group. You were pretty shy so you mainly quietly observed the Kana and Mem and got them down pretty easy. The ones who really took you in for a loop was Ruby.

From the moment you met her she was so bubbly and energetic. Her friendly nature made it easier for you to come out of your shell and she tried to include you in everything and make you feel at home. You two would talk for hours about your interests especially the ones you shared and she would devote her full attention to you.

After working with the group for awhile and getting closer to them you started to notice something: a lot of your songs were made with Ruby in mind. This made you realize that you were falling in love with your coworker!

At first you started avoiding Ruby. You needed time to properly process your feelings and your overthinking tendencies made you believe that being romantically involved with her could ruin both your careers and that she would never go for a guy like you. Until one day she put an end to that and confronted you.

She was very concerned about you and missed your presence, however Ruby does have considerable emotional intelligence and could tell you didn’t wanna talk about it so she just told you that no matter what it was she would be there for you to make you smile.

Those words gave your the courage to confess. So you did what you knew best, you wrote her a song. You brought her alone one day after work when it was late and everyone had left. You sat her down, closed your eyes, took a deep breath, and sang your heart out to her.

When you were done you looked to her nervousness waiting for her reaction. What you didn’t expect was her to be crying. What you also didn’t expect is when you rushed over to her to check if she was ok, she jumped and hugged you squealing yes. And that’s the story of how you two became a couple.

Ruby always encourages you and is able to calm you down when you go into a spiral. She helps you in social situations and is always able to make you smile during bad days.

You take care of her when she forgets to take care of herself or when she gets a bit too reckless or has a particularly airheaded/ditzy moment. (Aqua approves of you because you protect her like he would).

My top interest is anime/manga, my other main interests are gaming, anthropology, pathology, zoology, music (including Vocal Synths! I’m a vocaloid producer and a regular one too), filmmaking, art(drawing, painting, pottery, digital art, etc), learning instruments, learning languages, tabletop RPGs, rhythm games, cosplaying, watching documentaries, going on walks, taking pictures of things that I think are pretty, collecting figurines/stuffed animals and puppetry, dancing, science/history, and cooking, art is definitely my top main hobby rn, im dedicating a lot of time to it

Im usually awkward at first when I meet someone new, unless if I feel really comfortable or if I’m in a safe situation, when I’m comfortable with a person you CANNOT shut me up, I’ll be rambling about my interests and shit, i have a hard time communicating and understanding social cues due to my autism, my emotions come off as sarcastic or silly, im someone very entertaining and calming to be around with, i have a hard time taking everything seriously, and I find humor in pretty much, i also feel the urge to correct any faulty information, i also talk very differently with my words since some people say I use “BIG” words, for the most part I’m pretty chill— but what some would consider “repressed anger issues” and I can be verbally aggressive when prevoked.

I’m like the dad friend and I have a bad habit of being a therapist for my friends, i like to keep stuff with me when I go out like chapstick and some water bottles for my friends and me as well, i really like to make things for people I’m close with and that includes drawing stuff for them as well, i have a realllllyyy overactive brain. i tend to get really deep and philosophical when I’m left on my own to long, so I try to keep myself and mind occupied with stuff to distract me, i dream to become a lead singer for a vkei band, also I know 6 languages which are Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, Polish and French

Last movie: I don't remember. The last time I watched a movie, I was getting my hair done. But the only one I can remember from like months ago would have to be the transformers movie. My mom usually does my hair and she loves superhero movies so we end up watching them together.

Currently watching: nothing, honestly 😭 I don't watch much TV. If anything I really like video essays, especially on fine arts and like, idk. Drama?

Currently listening to: language podcasts. I'm trying to learn French and Japanese. Music wise, theres been an influx of... Idek. Whatever I find catchy?

Currently reading: The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. But I've put off the book for a while now bc I lost the page I was on. (I really like old literature)

Currently working on: a Doma x oc fic written in second person. I just prefer doing things that way and it was originally supposed to be an x reader fic. Though I may scrap it and continue on my kokudouma brainrot crusade honestly.
