I believe that the only reason why mashima didn't give team friends or fucking and their children jobs that do not have any destruction is cause lucy would be the only one having something to contribute

Yk when we started to really learn english in school, I thought english grammar is like german but more simple. It's like anytime smth complicated happens, english was like "eh we don't need that" and got rid of it. So I thought "oh this is way easier than I thought! It's literally simple german grammar"
And then the tenses walked around the corner
Tenses in german: well theoretically there are 6, but (in spoken language) only 3 are like.. actually used.. sometimes 4. It's literally just "ah a tense for the past. We use that for everything that lies in the past, no matter when it actually happened" "ah a tense for the present" "ah a tense for the future. We use that for everything that might happen in the future, no matter when it might actually happen." "Some regions use a second past tense in spoken language but 99% of its usage here happens on paper"
And then english is like:

the versatility of the word "dicht" is wonderful.
there are a few ways to use this word so here's some sentences for you!
dicht - close (in proximity to)
"Alles liegt dicht beieinander und ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar." - "Everything is close together and is easily accessible on foot."
dicht - tight (firm, fast, secure)
"Die Gardinen waren dicht zugezogen." - "The curtains were tightly closed."
dicht - dense (compacted, closely set)
"Der Stoff ist relativ dicht gewebt, fühlt sich glatt und weich an." - "The fabric is woven relatively densely, yet feels smooth and soft."
dicht - sealed (water tight, air tight)
"Die Stecker müssen robust, dicht und unempfindlich gegen Schmutz sein." - "The plugs must be robust, sealed and resistant to dirt."
dicht - not all there, crazy, nut
"Vielleicht denkst du, dass ich nicht ganz dicht bin." - "Maybe you think that i'm not all there."

Headconing most tpom characters as a variety of nationalities is fun, but also... penguins switching between English and their national languages or those that they learned over time
Like Kowalski switching between Polish and English from time to time just because he forgot a word in one of them.
And Private knowing basic Polish just because how many polish people emigrated to England.
Or Rico speaking to Skipper mostly in Spanish (I hc Rico as Mexican or smth and Skipper was hiding there for 8 years... so he must know spanish) because it's just easier to him than speaking English.
And Skipper is just being a multilingual being, as a result of his story or missions...
Stuff like that =v=

Not very fun animal and history fact:
During WWI, anti-German sentiment was so high in the US that they started taking it out on even German dogs.
The German shepherd was renamed in order to avoid this (the bame “Alsatian” after Alsace, France)
The Dachshund did not escape however. Americans were literally publicly  berating Dachshund owners and killing the dogs in the streets, there’s at least one report of a Dachshund breeder killing all their dogs
Huh. I did not know this.
Wikipedia says that 'Alsatian' was actually introduced in World War I in the UK, though I'd have to dig deeper to see if that's true.
Thanks for sharing, friend!

New colleagues: O.o wow!
ENTP, who knows how to say "yes", find the toilet in 7 foreign languages, and is also forgetting her native language: Si, Freunde

thank you for delightfullyintroducing me to alt codes...how do you type ä ö ü ß ?
generally i don't lol. but if i were to need to type them, i would refer to this handy dandy cheat sheet which gives:
ä: alt+132
ö: alt+148
ü: alt+129
ß: alt+225
though i would probably hit on ä and ö pretty easily just by trying the numbers around related letters â and ô. ü is wild though...what is that u-ish letter doing at such an early number...and i wouldn't have a clue where to start looking for ß.

You guys don't know how many pictures of geese I have on my phone just from living here for like 2 months. Maybe I'll get less enamoured with them over time but right now I still very much love to see little fuzzy birds & their hissing parents... & look they're co-parenting : )
