Changes in Wordgirl: Exploration
Let's talk about some of the changes our project makes to the original show's timeline. Since Wordgirl: Exploration takes place when Becky/Wordgirl is 12 while she's 10/11 in the show, it's safe to assume that most if not all of the show's events are canon to Exploration. However! We're a reboot not a continuation, which means there are things we've changed either to fit the narrative we want to tell or because we didn't like how something was portrayed in the show (Go Gadget Go is non-canon).
Everything listed here are changes we can't organically explain in our episodes, so you might see hints of what's in store for Wordgirl: Exploration. There's also some changes missing on purpose because we can fit them into our episodes.
Character Changes
Huggy got an upgrade from the show. He's got a prehensile tail now that he can use during fights (he's a monkey after all), is capable of changing color (excellent for sneaking up on villains), and has limited shapeshifting. He can't do much with his shapeshifting, just enough to make him look different than his secret identity or give him a small advantage during fights. Separate from his shapeshifting, Huggy is able to unhinge his jaw like a snake to consume massive amounts of food. It's definitely the ability Becky finds the most disturbing but boy has it really helped in a lot of fights against the food based villains. We just felt it was a little unfair that he didn't get any powers when he's just as alien. He still got the short end of the stick compared to Wordgirl, but they both work with his powerset as best they can.
Wordgirl and Kid Math have more alien traits because they deserve it <3 No one really questions Becky's less human traits. When you've got Chuck and his brother running around, a 12 yo girl with fangs and weird eyes isn't anything noteworthy. Kid Math's cape being traded for wings does mean that he doesn't fly like Wordgirl anymore. He buzzes around like a giant math obsessed dragonfly while Wordgirl treats gravity as an option.
It's an extremely minor thing but we took away Chuck's height. In the show he towers over almost all the civilians. We like short Chuck better, so he's only 5'6" now.
Sally is Afro-Latina and therefore has taught Becky and TJ Spanish. Becky is a natural, and since Ms. Question is also Afro-Latina, they both enjoy having someone they can talk to.
Squeaky is a woman now. We support women's wrongs <3. Also consequently Dr. Two-Brains is non-binary now as he's a fusion between a cis female mouse and a cis male human.
Story Changes
Okay, let's talk Kid Math for a second. In the show, Kid Math shows up at the start of season 7 and quickly gets established as an overeager but inexperienced superhero who's got a lot to learn about being a hero on Earth. They even seem to set it up as Wordgirl taking him under her wing and teaching him all she knows, which would have really shook up the status quo. Except they didn't. He's only been a background character ever since. Which is wild! This kid is just running around! He could have helped with Rhyme and Reason but he didn't! So we're changing how long he's been on Earth. In Exploration, Kid Math made his debut only a week ago. He's still very new in the public eye and Wordgirl is keeping him under close watch. As a result, he's going to be showing up in quite a few episodes.
Becky never tried to tell her dad and TJ she was Wordgirl. Honestly, her telling them did nothing for the show other than tell the audience her backstory. So in Exploration she has yet to tell her family and has made no attempt in the past.

What does it mean, to be proud? We have this whole month for it, thirty days of pride, and I have no idea what the word means. Am I proud? I celebrate pride, I wear pins with my flags and I go to the parades and I say all the right things. I say happy pride month and I say I’m proud all year round and I say I love being queer, but despite saying the right things, I don’t think I’m feeling the right things.
Am I proud of who I am? I try to be. I try to smile, try to believe it when I say that being queer is a good thing. I try to be proud, but shame burns in my chest and the fire won’t go out, so I think I’m lying to everyone. Lying to myself.
Does that make me a bad queer person? We’re supposed to celebrate who we are. We’re supposed to love ourselves. We’re not supposed to close our eyes and wish our queerness away.
I’ve heard people say that being queer is not a choice, but if it was, they would choose to be queer.
Would I choose this, if I had the option? I don’t know. I really don’t know. There’s a part of me that would absolutely choose to be queer, over and over. Being queer has given me so much joy– art, friendships, a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me. I wouldn’t trade that for the world, would I?
Would I? There’s another part of me that feels differently. If I could snap my fingers and set my queerness down, as though it was a weight on my shoulders, I would. Being queer has made me who I am– I wouldn’t be me if I snapped my fingers and made this choice. But this part of me believes it would be worth it, anything would be worth it to have been born in the right body.
Where does that leave me? Am I proud, or not? I would choose to be queer a thousand times over, and I would rid myself of my identity in an instant. I think this leaves me split down the middle. Half pride. Half self hatred.
Does being proud mean being out? In that case, I’m not sure where I fall, whether I count as proud. I’m stuck in a strange sort of in between-– one foot in a rainbow slide from target, the other foot rooted to the floor of the closet. I’ll wave a progress flag, but I won’t tell my parents my name. I feel so much guilt, like by being trans, I’m doing something wrong. I can’t be proud if I feel that way, can I?
The queer community is all about breaking down binaries. Gay or straight, male or female– we don’t limit ourselves to two options. So maybe I need to do this here, too. Am I proud, or am I ashamed? I’m neither. I’m both. I’m me, and my feelings on queerness are complicated. They can’t possibly be summed into a single word. But at the end of the day, my queerness is mine, and maybe one day I’ll learn to be truly proud of it.

꒰⠀⠀⠀⠀brianne tju. twenty-five. non-binary. they/them.⠀⠀⠀⠀꒱ hold your f*** horses ! delaney lu has just been spotted walking into revolution headquarters. they are best known for being the drummer in kalopsia and have been signed with the label for two years. they share a lot of interesting things about life in the music industry on their social media, so make sure you don’t forget to follow them at @laneboylu. fans know them for being goofy but i swear they’ve got a tenderhearted side as well. maybe that explains why they’re always associated with winning prizes twice their size playing carnival games, lazy smiles in a haze of heady smoke, & finally falling asleep while the rest of the city wakes up. stan twitter even voted them most likely to get taco bell with fans after a show. we’ll see how they live up to that reputation.
full name: delaney xin lu
gender & pronouns: non-binary & them/them
sexuality: pansexual, panromantic
date of birth: april 1st, 1997 (25 years old)
zodiac: aries sun, leo moon, taurus rising
hometown: san francisco, california
occupation: drummer in kalopsia
positive traits: tenderhearted, curious, resilient, affectionate
negative traits: goofy, immature, dopey, half-baked
[ learning disabilities tw, drugs references tw throughout bio & wc ]
delaney lu – where to begin? the second child of the incomparable mei lu, star of the stage and screen. okay, star of one soap opera that lasted five years in the late '80s - early '90s. in reality, a good actress who decided she hated los angeles and moved back home to san francisco when the show imploded and abruptly ended. soap opera tapings were replaced with leading roles in eccentric local productions and one-of-a-kind one woman shows in historic bay area theatres.
perhaps even more than she committed herself to the stage, mei committed herself to motherhood. she supplied her children with her own surname rather than their fathers' and made it crystal clear that half-siblings were siblings just the same as any other. there was never a doubt in anyone’s mind. their three fathers were never in the picture, but it left mei to run the most camp, free-spirited, and ridiculous household a kid could ask for.
each of the siblings had their own specialty interests (obsessions) and expertise, and delaney's was clear from day one : everything music and making a whole lot of noise. delaney's homemade drumkits went a lot further than pots and pans, but the dream was an actual drum set. it's no wonder they hardly cared about anything else after they got their first real kit. from that day on, they were a neighbor's worst nightmare. and proud of it.
laney's unconventional childhood made them the odd duck out in plenty of life's many facets, but it also taught them to love playing the role of the clown; the fool. book smarts weren't exactly their forte, but high school was good for plenty of other adventures. san francisco was wide and wonderful, and by the time they graduated, they knew the city better than they knew themself. as beautiful as it was, it no longer felt like exploring, and that left delaney with a little bit of an empty feeling.
college was never going to be an option for laney, who insisted their hatred of school was fueled by their disdain for the man rather than their frustration with their learning disabilities. besides, who needs higher education when they've already found their calling? fate brought them to the other members of kalopsia and laney never thought about missing out on college again. since then, they've been living their first and only dream - living for the music. there's a laundry list of things they miss about home, but if the truth is simple:
there isn't anything in the world they would trade this life for.
in search of...
the chaos twin: a fellow connoisseur of mischief and anarchy for laney to hatch up insanely dork plans and wild but (mostly) wholesome pranks. a pinch of munchies, a dash of bong rips, and splash of bill and ted create the ultimate partners in crime. a desire to eat popcorn while drama goes down (figurative or literal) is a plus.
opposites attract: an unlikely pair made up of delaney and a much more serious artist (or simply person) in desperate needs of a little letting loose. they probably have a lot more to lose than delaney does, but they still slum it and trip with laney anyway. acid, mushrooms, the strongest weed you've ever smoked... another one of laney's specialties.
strangers in each other's dms: they followed each other on instagram without listening to each other's music or realizing they were in cahoots with the same label. there have been conversations back and forth and a lot of likes mere minutes after posting to their feeds or stories. if anyone expects laney to be graceful about it, they've got bad news coming their way.
an accidental enemy: the road is a crazy place ! people are constantly coming and going from delaney's life, it's impossible to please all of them. that being said, they could've tried a little bit harder with this person. instead, laney managed to piss them off straight to hatred (real or otherwise). but hey, what are the chances they would meet again? whoops ! clearly, higher than they anticipated.
anything under the sun ! : beloved old friends, bitter old friends, parental figures, sibling-like friendships, family friends, tarot reading friends, a "will they, won't they", adrenaline junkie buddies, smoking buddies, one night stands, someone teaching them to cook, someone they're teaching the drums to, and anything else that sounds good !

Hey I really hate sending anon asks because I believe in transparency and honesty especially with the internet giving some anonymity already but I'm not ready to share this with anyone, even almost everyone I'm close with. I'm considering phalloplasty as a- um- genderfuck and I have some questions about it.
I'm in Canada and I'm not sure where and how you accessed your surgery so it might be different. I wanted to know if you need to have glansplasty (I think that's what you called it) and vaginectomy (i almost definitely spelled this wrong😅) to have phallo. This might be a silly question because there's lots of ways to do most surgeries but it seems like in Canada the surgeons require it either because they don't know how else to do it or they just don't want to. Which brings me to my next question.
Are surgeons typically non binary friendly? I haven't had an issue with top surgeons so far but I'm nervous that this will be gatekept differently. There's a weird uptick in stigmatization of pursuing transition goals from within my local nonbinary community and I no longer identify as nonbinary because of it and there's been stigma from within transition support groups towards nonbinary people but it's died down recently.
I'm anxious about this impacting the way surgeons interact with me as well as reaching out and asking questions from my peers. Do you have any advice or insight on where to start? Thank you for reading this far and I hope this comes off as kind and respectful.
Glansplasty is aesthetic and would be optional. Have you seen surgery photos of phallo before glandplasty? Dr. Crane (the surgeon I went to) has photos on his website and it might be a good idea to get a sense of what phallo without glansplasty looks like if you’re unsure! Vaginectomy isn’t an absolute requirement but may be required in some cases (for example, some surgeons will require vaginectomy if you are getting urethral lengthening due to risk of complications— again this varies surgeon to surgeon and even person to person based on body habitus).
If you are in Canada your funded pathway for surgery will be specific to your province. BC and the Yukon access through a surgery center in Vancouver and the rest of the country accesses through GRS Montreal. Ontario residents are able to access out of country or through Montreal. I’m speaking broadly of course but hopefully this paints a bit of a general picture.
I think among surgeons there is a growing recognition of non binary/gender diverse access to surgery. Of course I can’t say whether you will have an affirming experience with a surgeon but I’ve certainly seen an increase in folks who are not binary trans accessing phallo/meta and folks accessing only parts of a procedure or some components and not others (ie: no vaginectomy is increasingly common, no UL, etc). It may be reassuring to look at a surgeon’s website/surgery center’s website and see what language they use to refer to procedures and folks who access them. Of course this doesn’t promise or predict actual competency in supporting non binary folks however it may be a starting point.
It may be helpful to go into your surgery consult with a list of things you want from surgery and things you don’t. It may be the case that there are trade offs that cannot be avoided but in that case your surgeon can help identify what is possible and what might get you closest to your goal.
In terms of community, have you joined any phallo specific peer groups? There are a number on Facebook. They are often highly secure because of the vulnerability of information on there but I’ve found these communities to be by far the best place to learn more about phallo— I’d be happy to share names of groups over DM. I’m binary identified so that has certainly impacted my experience however I know that non binary folks are part of these groups and have seen folks post and engage in dialogue about their experiences. Again I’m sorry I can’t guarantee a positive experience, its terrible to fear how you may be treated based on your identity, you should not have to navigate that. I can say from my personal experiences phallo-specific groups have by far been the most affirming and helpful spaces for me.

Tory party treasurer’s brother and business partner was involved in now-banned binary options industry
The brother and business partner of new Tory party co-treasurer Ehud Sheleg, was involved in a company promoting a controversial online investment industry that was later associated with serious fraud.
An investigation by Finance Uncovered, Private Eye and The Times of Israel has found that for three years, Ehud’s brother Ran was part of a company that marketed binary options – an industry largely run out of Israel.
Binary options were promoted as a form of financial product to thousands of investors around the world, but their sale was halted by European and Israeli regulators last year when it was found that the industry was rife with fraud.
A senior Israeli police officer said in 2017 “binary options caused Israel’s crime organisations to become significantly stronger”
Ran Sheleg, an Israeli, was a partner in a website binaryaffiliates.com which aimed to make money from promoting binary options brokers who were in some cases even telling investors they could learn to almost double their investments within an hour.
Regulators in various countries around the world would later issue serious warnings about a number of these brokers.
Mr Sheleg, 60, strongly denies he knew anything about fraudulent practice in the industry until the binary options scandal erupted years after he ended his association with binaryaffiliates.com.
He also told Finance Uncovered that he made no profits from binaryaffiliates.com, which he described as a failure. There is no suggestion he committed any fraud.
His brother and business partner, Ehud – one of the Tories’ biggest donors and appointed the party’s co-treasurer and financial gatekeeper last summer – strongly denied any knowledge of binaryaffiliates.com.
He said he had no involvement at all with the website and there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by him.
His brother’s involvement in the binary options industry from 2009 until 2012 was established after a wider ranging investigation by Private Eye, The Times of Israel and Finance Uncovered into Ehud’s Mayfair-headquartered Halcyon Gallery, an exclusive art dealership that boasts of close ties to the Royal Family and the Conservative Party.
Ehud, a 63 year old also known as Udi, runs the gallery. It is 50% controlled through a British Virgin Islands company by the Tov Settlement, the Sheleg family trust. Ran Sheleg is the “co-protector” and one of 12 beneficiaries of that trust. Ehud is also a beneficiary.
Ran denied he and his brother were business partners but then added that Ehud had appointed him as director of Halcyon Art International Ltd, a Hong Kong company.
And it was from this company that Ran Sheleg sent a series of emails that would later reveal his involvement in the binary options industry.
The emails, written in 2012, was discovered in the Panama Papers, a huge leaks of documents from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca that caused international outrage when they were published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists in 2016.
Ran’s emails show his dealings with Mossack Fonseca to set up a BVI company for his binary options business. In the emails, Ran also said he was ending his association with the business, having been involved with it since late 2009.
The business, binaryaffiliates.com, aimed to make money by encouraging people to invest with various binary options brokers. During Ran’s involvement with it, it promoted brands that were telling investors they could make up to 81% returns rapidly.
Affiliate marketers promoted binary options schemes though blog posts, spam emails and videos promising to reveal the secrets of online trading.
Binaryaffiliates.com was paid a commission for each investor it successfully referred. But in the three years that Ran was involved with it, he said it was a failure and that it generated only £122,000 in gross revenues in total, with £118,000 incurred in direct costs alone. He said he did not make any money personally and nor did he take a salary.
At the time, marketing binary options was perfectly legal.
He also said he was “shocked” to discover a few years later that the industry was rife with fraud.
A year after he ended his involvement with the business, one brand, AnyOption, was put on a warning list by regulators in Quebec.
Another brand promoted by binaryaffiliates.com, OptionRally, was also promoted by US citizen Michael Shah, who is currently being prosecuted for fraud by the Commodities and Futures Trading Commission in the US. In an online chatroom in 2014, Shah described the brands he was promoting as “100% BS [bullshit]”.
Also during the time Ran was involved with binaryaffiliates.com, it promoted at least one brand that used the Spot Option trading platform. Last year, a US grand jury indictment against Jared Davis, a US citizen who ran a binary options scheme which used the Spot Option platform, described Spot Option as “fraudulent”.
In 2010, Binaryaffiliates.com also promoted EZTrader which later became the “official Binary Options Trading Partner” for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
EZTrader was fined $1.7m by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2016. The SEC fine was for misleading potential investors. The SEC stated at the time that fewer than 3% of US citizens investing with EZTrader made any profit on the site.
Ran Sheleg told Finance Uncovered: “For a limited period of time (the end of 2009 – 2012), I invested and was involved in an online business marketing binary options. This was at a time when no one was aware of misconduct in the industry which sadly has subsequently come to light.
“I was not aware of the misconduct nor did I have any involvement. Binary Affiliates had next to no revenue, lost money and was closed in 2013.
“At no time did my brother, Udi, have any involvement whatsoever and any attempt to link him is desperate and utterly scurrilous.”
Binary options trading was banned in Israel in early 2018, after Gabi Biton, Superintendent of the Israel Police, had made a bombshell speech about the industry to a committee of MPs in the country’s Knesset parliament the year before.
“Our eyes have been opened,” the police officer had said. “What we’re seeing here is a massive organised criminal enterprise. We are talking about criminals at various levels of crime organisations, up to the very top.
“Binary options caused Israel’s crime organisations to become significantly stronger,” he added.
In the UK, victims reported losses of £59m, with the scale of the fraud likely to be much larger.
Months after the trade was banned outright in Israel, regulators across Europe banned the sale to retail investors.
When questioned about the binary options business by Finance Uncovered, Tory co-treasurer Ehud Sheleg said he had been completely unaware of the company in which his brother had been involved.
He strongly denied any money from the binary options business had been invested in the Halcyon Gallery, an art dealership that has catapulted him into the social circles of the British Establishment.
The gallery, fuelled by an influx of international money into the London art market, has seen exceptional growth in the past decade.
Latest company accounts available on Companies House show a turnover of £88m last year, up from £38m in 2010.
The Sheleg family, through a British Virgin Islands company and a family trust, bought a 50% share in the Halcyon Gallery in 1998 when it was a Birmingham-based art dealership.
The gallery sponsors events at Buckingham Palace, and has co-hosted a party with Princess Eugenie. It also sponsors an annual charity polo match, where Princes William and Harry have played for the Halcyon Gallery team.
Another focus of Halcyon’s strategic generosity has been the Conservative Party. When Boris Johnson was London mayor, the gallery in New Bond Street hosted a drinks party for the Mayor’s charity, the Mayor’s Fund for London.
Halcyon started directly funding the Conservatives in 2010, but shortly before the 2017 general election, Ehud started donating personally – and in huge amounts. Over the past two years he has donated £1.88m to the party’s stretched coffers. His generosity was rewarded last year when Theresa May formally appointed him party co-treasurer.
Both Ran and Ehud deny that Ran has any involvement in the Halcyon’s UK business. Ran Sheleg categorically stated that he was not a business partner of Ehud. But corporate filings suggest he plays an important role in Halcyon’s affairs.
In addition to being the protector of the trust which owns the Sheleg family’s share of the Halcyon Gallery in the UK, he was appointed as a director of Halcyon Art International by Ehud Sheleg. He is also a director of Halcyon’s Shanghai company alongside his brother, and sources say he has been a frequent visitor to the gallery in London.
During the research for this article, Ehud Sheleg provided a series of background observations and comments but when asked for an on the record quote prior to publication, he instructed lawyers from Farrer & Co.
His solicitor, Julian Pike, head of reputation management at Farrer & Co, threatened Finance Uncovered with potential legal action in the event of any defamation of his client. Mr Sheleg then declined to provide a comment.
The Conservative Party did not respond to repeated requests for comment.

Per Gunnar Astrom and Tradorax Scam
Per Gunnar Astrom has received allegations of being a major scammer behind the notorious Tradorax fraud. Learn more in this review.
This article details the peculiar situation involving the October 2023 Tradorax binary options fraud. German authorities had detained and accused two Israelis for Tradorax investment fraud. They then go on to claim that 2300 Bitcoins were stolen from them by their old attorneys. It is currently being claimed on Twitter that Guy Yuval, one of the attorneys, owned Opal, a payment processor subject to Singaporean regulations, and used it to launder money. A whodunit has occurred.
The Trials of Tradorax and Per Gunnar Astrom
Binary Options Fraudulent Company The network of Tradorax
In October 2022, German trials against the massive binary options scheme Tradorax (shown right) began. The Israeli boiler room operators Avi Itzkovich, also known as Avi Itzkovitz, and James Henry “Jack” Wygodzki, also known as Jack Wygotzki, were charged by the authorities.
Per Gunnar Astrom played a major role in the Tradorax scam
Wygodzki filed a complaint against Israeli attorneys and a broker while the two were in Germany’s pre-trial custody. He claimed that they had stolen over 2,300 Bitcoins, which are today valued at $53 million, from him. These had already been taken from their scam victims by Itzkovitz and Wygodzki.
The Israeli Lawsuit
According to Wygodzki’s lawsuit, he became afraid following Avi Itzkovitz’s arrest and sought assistance from Guy Yuval, Ori Arad, also known as Uri Arad, and Racheli Unger of the law firm Yuval Aron (website). They would have persuaded him to give them the Bitcoins, promising to sell them and give him the money in exchange.
They would have given him fictitious documents in exchange and permitted him to seek refuge in Portugal. Jack Wygodzki hoped to escape to South America from there. But that didn’t actually happen. He never received the money or the Bitcoins back. And he was taken into custody!
The Swindlers’ Attorney
Moshe Strugano’s legal choice Legal opinions were issued for Tradorax by Alpha Capital House Moshe Strugano.
Our research indicates that Wygodzki was persuaded to turn himself in to the police by Israeli lawyer Moshe Strugano, who we already know from other frauds as a consultant and who had provided legal advice for the scammers in the Tradorax scam to help their crimes. People close to Wygodzki allegedly told Moshe Strugano that the German case against him was not very strong.
Alagos Limited (Gibraltar) first introduced the Tradorax platform in 2013 under the www.tradorax.com domain. Following the initial alerts to the public, Tradorax changed its company. The binary options fraud was purportedly run by Anguilla-founded AM Capital Ltd., which then relocated to the Marshall Islands, beginning in 2015. The required legal opinions were released by Moshe Strugano.
The Disappearing Bitcoins
The reality is that Bitcoins are no longer in circulation. The brokers, Miki Hefetz, and the lawyers in question dispute all of this, saying that their goal was to work with the German authorities to secure the money. The sole goal of Wygodzki’s action would be to stop them from doing so.
In the Israeli scene, there is a report, though, that Moshe Strugano worked with the broker and the two defendant attorneys. It is believed that he will receive a portion of the “loot” in exchange. A fascinating rumour that we are unable to verify.
Per Gunnar Astrom‘s Scam: After inciting users to place “fraudulent” bets on markets, the binary trading website shuts down
Thousands of people could fall for binary options scams, according to a victim’s attorney, but many of them are too ashamed to come out and acknowledge they were duped.
It looks like a website that was suspected of defrauding savers out of thousands of pounds by luring them into “fraudulent” internet trading schemes has shut down.
Until recently, the website Tradorax had encouraged savers to place seemingly straightforward wagers on the value of stocks or currencies.
Lawyers and savers claimed to The Independent earlier this year that hundreds of people, mostly seniors, were not receiving returns for their investments on websites like Tradorax, and that dozens of people’s accounts were being frozen.
Although a growing percentage of these sites, also referred to as binary options trading platforms, are fraudulent, many of them are genuine.
Speaking to The Independent in July, attorneys and personal finance specialists claimed that even the lawful platforms are not under the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) oversight, making it impossible for the government to manage the sector.
The UK gaming Commission regulates some binary options trading sites, but only if the company has gaming equipment situated in the nation.
Numerous people with contact addresses provided on the website that were outside of the UK included Tradorax.
James Hellis, a pensioner and former independent IT contractor, stated that he had invested around £60,000 with Tradorax in total. He claimed that over the course of several months, a person posing as a “broker” had been assigned to trade on his behalf and make a number of investments.
He said that he submitted a withdrawal request to the site in December, citing his pension fund as the source of the majority of his funds. He asserts that his account thereafter seems to have been blocked after the request was turned down.
Mr. Hellis filed a chargeback dispute with his banks since he had used credit cards to pay for some of the investments, but they were unwilling to assist him.
In addition, he claimed to have reported the issue to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), which was established by Parliament to address issues with financial services, and Action Fraud Police, the national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime that works in tandem with the NFIB within the City of London Police. Neither could provide him assistance.
The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB), a division of the City of London Police, stated that it received 305 reports of binary options scams in the year ending in May 2016, which is the most recent period for which data is available. That amounts to 27 reports per month.
Experts have also stated that because of regulatory changes made in April 2015 that make it easier to access funds, pensioners would be more inclined to try trading.
Pensioners can now withdraw their entire pension as a lump sum under the new regulations, which also remove the requirement for them to purchase an annuity. The idea of trading binary options can be alluring, especially when one finds themselves suddenly in possession of large sums of money and other investing options offer relatively modest returns.
“Pension freedoms have opened up a can of worms,” remarks Kate Smith, Aegon’s head of pensions. According to her, some con artists target seniors in particular.
“They are taking advantage of people’s weaknesses.”
Data released by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in July indicates that 53% of pension pots accessed since the implementation of the new regulations had been fully withdrawn. Furthermore, the watchdog has expressed a number of concerns recently regarding the use of the money by individuals.
The next year will see the publication of a comprehensive report on the problems with pension freedom.
Tradorax “ceased all activities due to regulatory issues and no longer provides its services to clients,” according to a message posted on the company’s website on Wednesday.

Fiatvisions Review 2023
Fiatvisions Review – Fiatvisions scam or legit?
FiatVisions portrays itself as a legitimate broker, however, its offshore registration and lack of licensing raise doubts about its reliability. How can one trust a broker that hasn’t been authorized by a reliable financial authority? Despite their claim of being regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of the Mauritius-based Green Point Technology Ltd., this is far from reassuring due to the looser regulations that exist there. This broker provides high leverage ratios of up to 1:400 which may be appealing for experienced traders, but it’s best to explore other options available.

How? Experience and a profitable trade plan that
actually works in the live markets. It's not a
coincidence price reversed and rejected where I
forecasted.
Does your mentor share their setups prior to entry
and share their targets before they hit?
The purpose of my channel isn't to give signals or
spoon-feed you (I can't stand lazy people) but it is
here to help you speed up your own trading journey
and show you what's possible with trading if you put
in the work. The past few trades I've taken and
shared in my channel have reached over 10% which
is the typical number to pass a prop firm challenge.
I've been trading for over 4 years now and sharing
my analysis in my channel everyday for almost 2
years. It's not been an easy journey to get to where I
am today and it's taken a lot of sacrifice and
perseverance but I'm proud of where I am and I love
that I can now help all of you win too.
A lot of people in this space lack transparency. When
I got into SMC I saw all of these 'traders' catching
100R trades which initially drew me in but looking
back now it is not realistic and doesn't mean they
made 100% profit (most of them would have banked
considerable partials before it ever reached that
level). However, with that said, there is a lot of
potential with this style of trading, endless
opportunities and uncapped returns which is why I
love it so much. Trades like todays do to show vou don't need huge RR to make significant, life changing
returns. Greed never ends well in the markets.
If you want to be a consistently profitable trader, you
need to build a trade plan, set realistic targets, have
good risk management, stop getting shiny ball
syndrome and just stick to one strategy. You will also
need to work on your mindset to flawlessly execute
your trade plan and you need to give it time to play
out. You're going to having losing weeks, you may
even have losing months which will make you
question everything but you need to trust in your plan
and journal everything along the way. If you believe
in yourself and follow your trade plan, everything
you've ever wished for will follow
Remember, mastery takes time ♡

Pocket Option Review: Features, Pros, and Cons for Traders
Pocket Option is a popular binary options broker known for its ease of use, range of features, and accessibility for traders at all levels. Established to provide a seamless trading experience, Pocket Option has gained traction with both new and experienced traders. Here’s a closer look at its features, pros, and cons to help you decide if it’s the right broker for you.
One of Pocket Option’s standout features is its social trading tool, which allows users to copy the trades of successful traders. This feature is particularly helpful for beginners who want to learn from experts while potentially profiting from their experience. Additionally, the platform offers a wide range of assets, including forex pairs, cryptocurrencies, and commodities, providing traders with a broad spectrum of trading opportunities. Pocket Option also provides a demo account, which can be accessed without registration, making it easy to test strategies before trading with real money.
In terms of pros, Pocket Option’s simple interface, competitive payouts, and fast trade execution times are appealing. The platform also offers various educational resources, such as webinars and tutorials, which help traders develop skills and strategies.
However, there are some cons to consider. While Pocket Option is user-friendly, it may lack advanced trading tools and technical analysis options that more experienced traders seek. Additionally, some users have noted that fees may apply to certain transactions, which could impact trading costs over time.
Overall, Pocket Option is an attractive choice for beginners and intermediate traders who value simplicity and a strong community-driven approach to trading.

Tory party treasurer’s brother and business partner was involved in now-banned binary options industry
The brother and business partner of new Tory party co-treasurer Ehud Sheleg, was involved in a company promoting a controversial online investment industry that was later associated with serious fraud.
Private Eye and The Times of Israel has found that for three years, Ehud’s brother Ran was part of a company that marketed binary options – an industry largely run out of Israel.
Mr Sheleg, 60, strongly denies he knew anything about fraudulent practice in the industry until the binary options scandal erupted years after he ended his association with binaryaffiliates.com.
he made no profits from binaryaffiliates.com, which he described as a failure.
His brother’s involvement in the binary options industry from 2009 until 2012 was established after a wider ranging investigation by Private Eye, The Times of Israel into Ehud’s Mayfair-headquartered Halcyon Gallery, an exclusive art dealership that boasts of close ties to the Royal Family and the Conservative Party.
Ran Sheleg told “For a limited period of time (the end of 2009 – 2012), I invested and was involved in an online business marketing binary options.
When questioned about the binary options business by Tory co-treasurer Ehud Sheleg said he had been completely unaware of the company in which his brother had been involved.
