A New Attraction

Details: The newer attraction that we have been working on here in the great city of London for your pleasure is both a carnival and a casino all in one area. You can ride their rides and play their games and even stay the night in the hotel there if you would like to stay and enjoy yourselves a little longer.

Open Dates: The opening event will last from March 7th- March 14th.

Opening Week: In honor of opening week, all of the proceeds that are made after 7 o’clock from the machines in the casino area will be going to charity and a different charity each night for the entire week.

Invitations: We would like to cordially invite all of our celebrities to come an join us there and have the night of your lives, we have all of the games that you could possibly imagine there and you can dress up in costume or come as yourself if you’d like.

What else?: You can chose who you would like to go to the event with or even write a solo para, the choice is yours. Just remember to have fun!

          “I’m a little late to the party here, but I wanted to give my two cents on Valentine’s Day. I have always found it interesting that we celebrate Ystävänpäivää in Finland instead of Valentine’s Day like everyone else does. Ystävänpäivää can translate to Friendship Day because we like to include everyone there and not leave anyone out. We shower our friends with our platonic love for them and give them things, along with our sweetheart too. I dunno, I just tend to think that Valentine’s Day should be a celebration of the many different kinds of love that there are out there because it can take on many different forms that we often don’t seem to think about.”

Well, after a flight that took four more hours than it was supposed to following the six hour delay to even board the plane, the airport lost one of my bags that held not only my script but my laptop as well, I forgot my phone, a child spit on me and I tripped leaving the building in front of a large group of people that found my pain to be a little too hilarious. In short, thank you for the warm welcome, London. I’m glad to be here.

Feels Like Infinity ❄ Harry & [OPEN]

Harry sat in front of the fireplace in his new home that he shared with Cara Delevingne. His wife, and partner in crime. They also had a few dogs running around. But at the moment it was just Harry, Zeus the Huskey, and their friend sat in the living room. Harry sat on the floor in front of the sofa, huddled up in blankets and with a cup of tea in his hands as he looked into the flames of the fireplace. It was a great contrast to the weather going on outside, and he quite liked it. “There’s one thing this whole storm’s done, though.” Harry said after a moment of silence between the two people sat in the room together. The conversation had gone freely, and whenever there was silence, it had been a comfortable one, more than anything else. “it’s brought out a lot of those so called ‘shower thoughts’.” A soft laugh rolled from his lips as he pushed himself up a little.

A large hand brushed through the soft fur on the Husky dog’s back, as he thought. “When we forget our password to things, does it mean our past-self outsmarted our present self?” He mused. “And as a woman is born with all the eggs she will ever have, that means I’ve sort of existed since the sixties, cause that’s when my mum was born – even though I was actually born in the nineties.” He said and looked up at the other, wondering if they were secretly plotting to have him checked in somewhere whenever this storm calmed down. “And technically your future self is watching you in your memories right now, so remember to always smile.” He said and put on a fake, innocent smile as he looked up at the other.

I’ve been knocked down, but I’ll get up again || Open para

She had known that going outside was a very very stupid idea, and really, if it hadn’t been an emergency, she wouldn’t have done it. But as Tatiana was trying to make her way through the heavy white snow blocking the streets, not even sure anymore where the sidewalks started and ended, she was really cursing out at herself. Even a tough little Canadian like her, used to the harsh prairie winters had troubles surviving. When her power went out, she was annoyed but fought the darkness with candles and flashlight. It wasn,t until she tried to go for a cup of water and realized nothing was coming out, that the pipes had frozen, that the short brunette made the stupid but necessary decision to go out and seek refuge elsewhere. Her costar and fellow London resident, Maria, had offered her shelter and while she lived a solid 45 minutes away by foot, it was Tatiana’s only option at this point. It would be better than freezing to death with no water.

Her favorite fur hat turned out to be a real lifesaver, because with this cold, she predicted her ears would’ve fallen off within ten minutes. She was very glad for her mom’s christmas present: straight from the land of cold, heavy duty Kanuk’s boots didn’t seem so ridiculous to have in the British capital anymore. But the more the walked, the worst the conditions seemed to get. The snow got higher, making it impossible to see any possible patch of ice, and the wind was blowing stronger and stronger, until in the end it won the fight. With a particularly strong gust, it sent the small woman backwards, and as Tatiana’s feet tried to help her keep her balance, the toe of her boots got caught into some hidden obstacles. In a second, she was flat on her back, boots stuck somewhere under that white mess, phone out of reach on the ground. “urgh” she groaned, trying to get up, but finding that she landed on ice and unable to get back on her feet. “Help! Anyone?!”

Hello everyone! As you have most likely noticed, we have been a bit absent lately, working behind the scenes and off of the dash. As promised, we have been putting all of our time and energy into completing the project we started, and as of today, we can officially declare that we have turned over a new leaf, and we could not be happier.

If you look around, you will see that nearly everything has been changed. The main blog as well as the gossip blog have undergone complete makeovers, nearly all of the pages have been scrubbed down and given new themes, including the navigation and the blogroll. We have shortened the rules, rewritten the application, made a fresh batch of icons and headers, redone the character masterlist, updated the wanted list and made new graphics. We sincerely hope that you like the changes we made and that you are as excited as we are about the future and the things that we have in store for you!

And on that note, we will be resuming activity checks this Sunday so take this as a fair warning that we expect everyone to have a two hundred word para posted by then to stay off the list. Along with that, we also have an event in the works to get things moving again, and the next question of the week will be posted on the following Monday. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for staying with us throughout this revamp, for being loyal, patient members and for trusting us and believing in us. We are dedicated to not only this group but each and every one of you as well, and we are so glad that we could finally post some good news. The future is bright!

So, my plane got delayed a solid 14 hours because of a crazy-ass snow storm in New York, so I get here now and it’s, what, almost 6 am... and then I got a meeting at 9am, and I this point, i don,t even give a shit! I’m here! Oh my god!

I was on an extended vacation the last time that I came here, but after talkin’ to the guys about it, all of us have decided to take a chance and move out to London and see what happens from there. So what’s changed here? Anythin’ that I should know about? We’re still in the process of movin’ into our new place and settin’ up our new recording studio, but we need to take a break just to chill out every once in a while, right? I’m definitely open to some suggestions.”

Back in London || John & Open

          John had finally made it back to London after his trip back home to Australia for the holidays. Their family had all met up in Sydney and spent quite a lot of time together, including New Year’s when the sky was lit up with fireworks. Thankfully, he was able to see everything from his home while everyone else crowded around the bridge to see the attraction there at midnight.

          Australia was quite a bit different from London this time of year, after all it was summer there, and adjusting to the colder more drearier climate back in London was a bit of a feat on its own, but in a way, he was glad to be back in London, it was as familiar of a place as any other to him lately and he had quite a few friends there as well. After making it back inside of their home, he realized that he needed to make a quick trip back out to the store to get something for the two of them to eat over the next few days, and Penny had some emails and other business matters to attend to. But going back out was the last thing that he wanted to do at the moment, especially after flying home on an airplane.

          The store wasn’t as busy as it was shortly before Christmas, so he was thankful for that, and took advantage of it by rushing through and grabbing a few things here and there from off of the shelves and by the end, he had to drag himself up to the register after having used most of his energy flying through the store. Now to wait in line... he thought as he checked his watch for the time. 9:00 pm, the thought of sleep was becoming more and more tantalizing to him by the second.

          Drifting off into his own thoughts, he almost didn’t catch when his cart started sliding forward and tapped the person standing in front of him in line, it wasn’t enough to hurt them, but probably enough to catch their attention. “I’m sorry.” he said, giving them his best apologetic look. “I think that I was off in my own little world there for a moment.”
