Juniper's closeness and the way her fingers threaded into her belt loops let a sudden nervousness arise within Kie. It made breathing a tad harder than it needed to be. This was just a harmless gesture, possibly meant to tease her a little, nothing more and yet it left her a little agitated.

The blond shapeshifter didn't say anything when she curled up against him. Simply laid his arm around her small frame. She must feel pretty fucked out and Mika would always make sure his partners got the aftercare they needed as he knew it could get a little intense with him. The more important it was to him that they got a well deserved shower (or bath) and could snuggled into comfortable clothes if wanted. Depending on the person he was with Mika would even stay the night. Juniper was a person he did it with, that's why he had gotten comfortable on her bed after he had showered with her and slipped into a fresh pair of boxer briefs and some sweatpants. Something he could do since he always carried some clothes within his backpack. Simply for the reason should he ever have to suddenly make a run for it, then he wouldn't have to worry about clothes at least among other little necessaries. But it sure came into handy at times like the current one. Not long after he heard her even breathing he did fall asleep too.

She says she would tell him but leave out the card and he bites his lip. Then she mentions that she can't help that she's so awesome other people fall in love with her.

He can't help but roll his eyes. " And that's the excuse you're going to use."

"if i wanted to date someone else, rafe, i already would be and if you ever suggest topper again i might actually vomit." her own annoyance is starting to seep into her tone. "do you hear yourself? it's a waste of money to make your girlfriend feel special for a few days?" she huffs out, throwing her own arms up. juniper was no an expensive gift person. hell, she didn't care if you just picked a flower off the side of the road and gave it to her. "knowing how possessive you can be, to avoid you ending up with a murder charge, i might have thought about it but knowing better, yes i was going to tell you. just was going to leave out the weird card attached." crossing her arms, she stares back at him. "can't help that i'm just so awesome people can't help but fall in love with me."

she was so quiet. not a wince, glare, or even argument. just.. silent. bold of her considering negan asked a question. " i'll ask again.. where did you come from? There were times that Quintin still wanted to go and beat the ever-living shit out of the guy for doing this but he always stopped himself because what good could he be to Junie and the baby if he was behind bars? "Noooo, you do not need to see that picture, no baby picture of me is getting show. Don't do that to me," he laughed and then shook his head. "We'll set up a spa day for you and ma then, can't have you popping a baby out without toenails painted right?"

at the end of the day, the biological father didn't want anything to do with juniper nor their child so why should he even be considered a father. he was a sperm donor at best. giving her a little bundle of joy and helping her find the person she was meant to be with. "okay but now i have to see that picture. remind me to ask your mom the next time i see her." juniper teased before humming. "oooo, i could go for a spa day. a little pedicure could do me justice, i can not reach my feet anymore." the pregnant girl pouts.

He had been sitting on the couch when Junie had come and joined him. His fingers lightly brushed through her hair as he moved his head to look down at her. "What are your plans for today?"

Dakota rolled his eyes at that. "In your eyes anyone I bring is a bimbo slut." As if he thought any better about the guys Juniper surrounded herself with. "I want to protect you here, Pips. He's nothing more than a smooth talker, a fuckboy." And yes, it did bother him that Mika was too hot for his own good and fucking knew how to use it to his advantage, not that Dakota was going to admit it freely.
