Arrogant and annoying 📚⚖️💻
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧ pairing : Seo Ji ho x reader
✧ warning(s) : smut ; fingering (f receiving), degrading, pet names (brat, slut, whore, doll), cum eating, public sex, enemies to lovers, praise (literally only 1)
✧ summary : You just didn’t like how he acted, nothing else. When you’re both left alone at the library you discover it might be something else.
✧ words : 2.1k
✧ a/n : sorry I’m in too many fandoms
***
You were in the secondary library with your study group, working for the next exam. You were asking each other questions, asking if you didn’t understand a law text and whining about failing. Well, mostly you and Kang Sol A. You just needed to let it out to the detriment of everyone present here, must obligated to hear your complaints.
Everyone in the group was here except Seung Jae, he is spending more and more time with his wife. Good for him. Even though you miss his luck in guessing the exam subject.
You were all concentrated on your respective computers, and/or books before you, silent. Your gaze mindlessly drifted to the guy at your opposite on the table, Seo Ji ho. They voluntarily put him at the polar opposite of you because you two can’t stand each other, you are like cat and dog. He’s the cat by the way. Always so arrogant and cold, you hated so deeply how he is looking at people as if he was better than anyone. Like calm down it’s not because you know the civil code that you’re better than us.. Put him in a forest and he’ll die in 4 hours. Knowing what paragraph carjacking is mentioned won’t help you against a bear smart ass.
You looked at him, his stupid face and how his fingers tap the keyboard. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows, revealing his veiny forearms. You gulped at the sight and quickly diverted your gaze.
Suddenly, Sol A breaks the silence. “I forgot ! I needed to help Mrs.Kim for the open law office. Sorry guys I need to go !” She explained swiftly and leaves as soon as she started. You all look at each other, stupefied. Joon Hwi chuckles “Typical Sol A”.
A phone buzzes, you look at your friend next to you, Ye Seul. “It’s my boyfriend. I’m sorry I need to leave.” She apologetically says. “Aww it’s okay, have fun !” You answer back. She nodded, puts her stuff in her bag before waving you goodbye. Bok Gi watches her leaving with puppy eyes as Ye Beom pats his back in comfort. Bok Gi always had a thing for your friend. How could he not she is so adorable and pretty !
You were now remaining 6. The number quickly decreased. You were alone in the corner of the table. The 5 others all gathered at opposite side. “Ya, Bok Gi, I’m so hungry.. Accompany me to the kitchen real quick please.” The oldest boy requests. “Sure, I’m not really in the mood to study anymore anyways..” The other sadly accepts.
You look back at your work before you once again get interrupted by Sol B. “I need to fetch some documents in the other library. I’ll be back.” She states sternly. She was also quite condescending, but it was less insufferable than Ji Ho. “I’ll go with you” Joon Hwi hurriedly says. For some reason you think he likes her. You were always good at reading people. She looks at him without saying anything as she makes her way out of the room, the boy following her close with a sweet smile on his face. With the way she treats him differently than anyone, you guessed the feeling is mutual.
As they start to leave the room, You suddenly wake up in realisation. “Wait ! You’re leaving me here ?” You mutter, worried. Ji Ho sides eyes me, exasperated at my reaction. “Yeah..” Joon Hwi responds amused. “But he’s so arrogant help me.” You plead as if he wasn’t in the same room as you. “And you’re so annoying..” He answers vexed.. “Sure arrogant and annoying what a cute duo” Joon Hwi states before winking at you.
You scoff as he leaves the room. “What is he talking about..” You mumble under your breath. “You’re so clueless it’s almost cute.” The boy with glasses says. You choke on your own spit. “What are you talking about about ? Have you gone crazy because of the exam ??” I shout, distraught. “Have you gone crazy ? You’re practically drooling while looking at my hands in front of everyone and you think nobody can sees you.” He scoffs while looking directly into your eyes. You blush, heavily embarrassed by the fact that you have been caught. You become red but you don’t know if it’s from anger or humiliation. “See, this is why I hate you. You are so mean and… And.. Just arrogant in general, like you’re better ! You’re such a dick Ji Ho..” You snap at him. How dare he mocks you..
You stand up and pack up your things messily, wanting nothing but to disappear, looking down at the table to avoid his gaze. You swear you could almost cry of frustration. When you look up you see him nowhere in sight. You turn around and see him right behind you, looking down at you. He comes closer, caging you between him and the table. You are mortified and drop your bag on the table.
His heavy gaze gives you goosebumps and you can’t help the growing heat between your legs, being so vulnerable, so close to him. You shut your thighs together and tug at the hem of your skirt. “Do you expect me to believe that ? If you hate me then why are you so shy right now ? Why do you always stare at me, at my hands, ‘want me to stuff you with them hm ? Or would you prefer if I bend you over this desk, lift your pretty skirt and pound into you ?” He offers disturbingly sternly. Your breathing gets faster as you look at the floor, unable to look directly at him. He grabs your chin with his fingers. “Look at me” He orders. You oblige and dare to stare at him, weakened by what he just said.
You still think about his offer, Seo Ji Ho, the number 1 on your enemy list offering you his fingers to get off. Despite his attitude, you must admit he is attractive. His plump lips, his dark eyes. Everything about him is enticing. “So ?” He asks once again. You hope he was not making fun of you and that his offer is real. “Please take me Ji Ho..” You answer shyly. He grins and breathes out from his nose deeply. “What a brat, insulting me then wanting to get fucked..” He scoffs. He approaches you to kiss your neck sloppily. “I wish I could right now but we don’t have much time. My fingers will have to do..” He continues. You whimper, dazed.
He sucks the skin of your neck, leaving hickeys. He lifts up your shirt and your bra to expose your tits. He hums as he hungrily stares at them and messily leaves wet kisses onto them, making you whimper once again.
The pool between you legs grows and your legs are weakening from his attack. He takes his hand to spread your legs as the other kneads your breast. He directs his hand under your skirt and knowingly moves your panties aside. You grab his shoulder as he plays with your wet folds. You bite your lips in attempt to stay quiet but he finds another way to shut you up as he crashes his lips against yours. At the same time, he enters his middle finger inside your warm cunt. You want to moan loudly at the feeling but his rough kissing stops you.
Despite the context, you blush at the kiss, why does it feel so sweet ? Your tongues intertwine with each other sloppily and you furrow your eyebrows in pleasure. He adds his ring finger and scissors you mercilessly. He stops the kiss as you are both breathless. He angles his fingers in a way that makes you see stars, you moan loudly, surprised. “What a slut, do my fingers feel too good for you ?” He coos at you and pinches your nipple in warning. You squirm, startled. “Get your voice down. You don’t want anyone to see you like a pathetic whore now, do you ?” He warns you.
His fingers go in and out of you quickly and you bite your lips to suppress your moans. His thumb rubs your clit and your hold to his shoulder tightens as well as your pussy, clenching around his skilled fingers. “A-Aah- Ji Ho.. M’sorry..” You beg. “If fucking you makes you apologise, I should have fucked you dumb long ago doll.” He chuckles, accelerating his mouvements nevertheless. His fingers are so perfect, curled into your tight hole. You flutter your lashes and admire him. You feel so pathetic, breasts exposed, all wet and disheveled as he is fully clothed and composed. Or at least that what you thought. If you knew his heart was racing at the sight of you, you might cum on the spot.
“M’gonna..” You start. “I know doll. Cum for me, cum on my fingers like a slut.” He cuts you, shoving his two fingers deeply into you as you reach your climax. You furrow your eyebrows and tears are pricking in your eyes. He brushes your nipple softly with his fingertips and kisses your neck oh so gently. The contrast between his slow motions compared to his rough assault on your most private part is too much for you. You sob and moan his name while cumming on his fingers “J-Ji Ho…”, you sob.
He watches your face carefully as you reach your climax and curses under his breath “Shit..”. Now he’s addicted.
He kisses away the tears at the corner of your eyes as he caressed your breasts fondly “Good girl.” He praises you unexpectedly. You look at him stunned, you think you might cry again after this. You just smile at him, simply happy, giggling.
You legs are shaking as he slowly takes his digits out of you. They’re wet with your arousals and he shoves them inside your mouth. Your immediately suck on them, cleaning them off for him. “Such a pretty whore sucking on my fingers.” You shut your eyes and exhale from your nose, smiling.
Once they’re free from any sort of any of your juices, he removes them from your pretty mouth. He stares at you a second, admiring you, before leaving a fond kiss on your lips. You’re startled by his gentleness and melt. “You’re not so bad.. I guess” You tease him. He scoffs, almost outraged “What, need another round with my dick this time fucking slut ?”.
You wear about to answer him when you hear a convo and footsteps approaching. You look at him, whose eyes are also wide. You swiftly pull down your shirt and sits back down to your place. He has just the time to automatically sits next to you before the door opens. Ye Beom and Bok Gi arrive and both furrow their eyebrows at the scene before them.
“Why are you seated so close to each other without someone losing an eye ?” The man with glasses questions suspiciously. You were about to respond but you just realise the presence of Ji Ho’s hand resting on your thigh, which shuts you up immediately. You glare at him and he just grins back at you. “We were studying. He is smart after all, you have to admit.” You answer, sure of yourself. “With no laptop and no books in front of you..?” Bok Gi remarks. You look at your bag with all your belongings placed on the table very much closed to your dismay. You look at Ji Ho for help but he just raises his eyebrows while tilting his head, waiting for you to find another excuse. Why did you fuck him in the first place already ?
“I meant, in reality we were.. Making peace.” You confess. It’s not entirely false.. “Yeah, well, from the hickeys on your neck peace was not the only thing you were making..” Yeom beom snickers. You become bright red. Ji Ho this bastard. “Nevermind, I still hate him..” You say while taking your bag to leave, not bothering to look at anyone. “Wait Y/n don’t be like that.. It’s not that bad..” He tries to apologise, catching after you with his unbearable grin. You open the door only to be face to face with Sol B and Joon Hwi looking directly at your obviously disheveled state. “Is that hickeys..?” Joon Hwi asks, kind of concerned. Bok Gi adds “Oh now it’s bad..”. “I’m changing study group. Bye guys !” You said, waving, joking despite the poor situation.

Chapter 3: Cruel
Time flew as you became more and more closer to Luffy and his friend group. Warming up to you and you to them as well. Not just was their influence impacting you and your confidence, you finally had a sense of belonging in this place .
After certain events last year, you serious considered transferring schools. Losing the few friendships and such an important person to you, just to be replaced by all of them in less than a month, teared your little heart. The only factor preventing you from asking your parents to transfer you, which they wouldn’t have minded at all considering you never bother them for anything ever, was the scholarship you were guaranteed to obtain if you graduated from Grand Line Academy.
The heart break was devastating but you also couldn’t allow yourself to throw all your hard work and efforts, making them be in vain for some stupid jerk who couldn’t appreciate you.
You were glad you didn’t make the decision to transfer.
For too long, you had been trapped in a cycle of loneliness and depression, hurting over the memories of your past relationship. It had been a dark period, filled with endless days of feeling isolated and unseen. But now, with Luffy and your friends, your life had taken on a vibrant new hue.
“Hey, Y/N! Catch!" Luffy's voice broke through your thoughts, and you looked up just in time to see a soccer ball hurtling towards you. With a quick reflex, you caught it.
“Nice catch!" Usopp called out, giving you a thumbs up from where he was sprawled on the grass.
“Thanks," you replied, tossing the ball back to Luffy with a little more force than necessary, causing him to stumble. You laughed as he regained his balance, shooting you a playful glare.
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and you all began to gather your things. As you walked back to the school building, You felt a nice warmth wave in your chest. This was what you been missing, this sense of belonging, of being part of something more than just by yourself.
In class, Luffy sat behind you, occasionally poking you with a pencil to get your attention. Nami, who sat next to you, would roll her eyes at his antics but couldn't hide her smile at how cute you guys would tease each other. Even the most mundane classes felt more bearable with one of more of your friends around.
You had blossomed in this new environment, your confidence growing each day. You were no longer the quiet, withdrawn girl from before. Now, you walked the halls with your head held high, your beauty and charisma catching attention as time went by.
After school, your adventures continued. Whether it was racing to the arcade, lounging at the beach, or simply hanging out at the local café, every day was filled with laughter and camaraderie. Zoro and Sanji’s constant bickering, Robin’s quiet yet comforting presence, and Chopper’s endearing innocence added to the lively tapestry of their lives. As well as the chaotic actions of the others.
One afternoon, as you were walking to the park, you decided to have a little fun. You stealthily moved behind Luffy and tugged on his hat, pulling it over his eyes. “Hey! Who turned out the lights?” Luffy exclaimed, flailing his arms around comically. You stealthily moved behind Luffy, then, with a swift motion, jumped onto his back, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. “Hey! What the—” Luffy exclaimed, stumbling slightly under the unexpected weight.
“Gotcha,” You laughed, your breath warm against his ear. you held on tight, feeling the solid muscles of his shoulders and the warmth of his body.
Luffy grinned, his hands coming up to hold your legs for support. “You’re gonna pay for that, Y/N!” he declared, his voice full of playful threat.
“Oh yeah? How?” you teased, leaning closer, your lips brushing against his ear as you whispered.
Luffy’s face turned a slight shade of red, but he kept his grin. “Like this!” With a sudden movement, he shifted your weight, sending you both tumbling to the ground in a fit of laughter.
As you reached the park, the group spread out, some heading for the swings, others setting up an playing soccer on the side. You, still giggling from your little teasing on Luffy, felt a surge of happiness. You were becoming more known throughout the school now, not just for your looks, but for your lively spirit and newfound confidence.
“Y/N’s really changed huh,”Nami said, joining Robin on a bench, who was calming looking over some musical sheets.
“Yeah,” Robin agreed, her eyes on you and Luffy as he tried to balance on a seesaw. “She’s out of her shell.”
Nami smiled, squeezing Robin’s arm to regain her attention back. “So you will not guess what happened yesterday when Vivi came over…”
Their days continued—filled with silly hangouts, spontaneous adventures, and the normalcy of high school life. You knew there would be some challenges ahead, especially academic ones but with Luffy and your friends support, you felt ready. For the first time in a long while, you were truly happy.
The halls of the school were unusually quiet as you made your way back to class, having spent the past hour helping a teacher with some errands. You enjoyed the occasional solitude. Your thoughts were still on the fun had y’all shared earlier in the park, your mind filled with Luffy’s laughter and the warmth of his embrace.
As you rounded a corner, your peace was disturbed. Standing in the middle of the hallway, leaning against a row of lockers, was Boa Hancock. Known for her stunning beauty and equally sharp tongue, Hancock was probably the most known girl in the entire school, mostly for glamorous looks, destined for a future in modeling. Honestly you might’ve had a slight crush on her during your freshman year. You didn’t know if it was a sense of desiring her or having admiration for her beauty. Nethertheless, it went away as you silently noted her really rude behavior once or twice before.
She fixed you with a piercing gaze, her eyes filled with a mixture of disdain and something else—jealousy, perhaps?
“Oh my god! if it isn’t the girl who can’t keep her hands off my man," Hancock sneered, pushing off the lockers and sauntering over, her movements graceful and calculated.
You straightened, your confidence momentarily faltering under Hancock’s scrutiny. "Excuse me?” you answered back, trying to keep your tone neutral.
Hancock crossed her arms, looking you up and down with critical eyes. “You’ve been getting pretty cozy with Luffy, haven’t you? It’s pathetic how you throw yourself at him. You look so desperate.
You bristled at the insinuation but kept your composure. "Um. We’re just friends."
Hancock’s lips curved into a mocking smile. "Friends? From where I’m standing, it looks like you’re acting like a total slut. Especially since I’m dating him."
You felt a cold chill run down your spine at Hancock’s words. You opened your mouth to retort but found yourself momentarily speechless. The accusation stung, but what hit harder was the claim that Hancock was dating Luffy. You knew Luffy could be oblivious, but could he really have hidden something like that from you? And why did he always refer to Hancock as just a friend? You didn’t know whether that was true or not, but a wave of reality struck you and made you insanely guilty for having made moves or touches with him before.
“Don’t look so surprised," Hancock continued, her voice softening slightly but not losing its edge. "Luffy deserves better than some desperate girl who doesn’t know her place."
Your hands clenched into fists at your sides. You took a deep breath, steadying yourself. "I don’t know what you think you’ve seen, Hancock, but I’ve never thrown myself at Luffy. We’re just friends. And if he hasn’t mentioned you, maybe you should ask yourself why."
Hancock’s eyes flashed with anger, but before she could respond, the sound of approaching footsteps echoed down the hall. You turned to see Nami and Zoro coming towards you, their expressions immediately hardening when they saw the two of your speaking.
“Hey Y/N, Hancock.” Nami greeted, stepping in, kind of protectively beside you.
“Just having a friendly chat," Hancock said smoothly, though her eyes never left Y/N’s. "Remember what I said, Y/N.”
With that, Hancock turned on her heel and walked away, her gorgeous long black hair swaying elegantly behind her. You watched her go, a mixture of anger and confusion churning in your chest. Why would Luffy not mention dating Hancock if it was true? And why did he always talk about Hancock as if she were just a good friend?
Nami placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “Hey what happened? Was she bothering or something.”
“No, it’s fine. She didn’t do anything to me. But I’m so confused. Are her and Luffy actually dating?”
Nami and Zoro exchanged a glance before bursting into laughter. You frowned, feeling a mix of confusion and irritation.
“Seriously? She said that?" Zoro managed to say between chuckles.
Nami wiped a tear from her eye. "Oh, Y/N, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Luffy doesn’t give a damn about dating. He’s as oblivious as they come."
You bit your lip. "So, they’re not dating?"
“Not even close," Nami confirmed, still smiling. "Hancock might like to think she’s dating Luffy, but trust me, he’s completely unaware of it."
Zoro leaned back against the lockers, shaking his head. "Luffy’s got his mind on food and soccer. Romance isn’t even on his radar. She’s delusional and she thinks they’re dating because of this one time they—“
“And honestly, Y/N, you might be a little delusional too. Luffy friend-zoned Hancock harshly a long time ago without even knowing he did." Nami interrupted while slamming Zoro’s arm harshly
You were confused at the remark but felt a wave of relief and a twinge of embarrassment. "I guess I got a bit carried away," you admitted, your face warming.
Nami patted your shoulder reassuringly. "Don’t worry about it. Hancock likes to stir up shit all the time, just a drama queen. And honestly, Luffy’s clueless. He only thinks of her as a friend."
With that reassurance, you felt a bit more at ease. Whatever Hancock’s motives are, you knew you have your friends with you and that Luffy’s obliviousness wasn’t personal. It was just part of who he was.
Zoro nodded. “if she’s really dating Luffy, I’m a monkey’s uncle."
You managed a weak smile at that. "Haha, okay then.”
As you walked back to class together though, you couldn’t help but replay Hancock’s words in her mind.
While you do have a small (not really..) crush on Luffy, were you really throwing yourself that much at him?
Her words made you insecure. Is that what you look like? DESPERATE?
You sighed. You haven’t told anyone yet about your little crush on the particular silly dude, well besides your private small social media audience, but you were worried. Like, was it really that obvious?
You also noted Nami and Zoro’s words from before and their implications, “you might be a little delusional too.” and the “you got nothing to worry about.” Did they know already? You mentally groaned, trying to drown out the heavy embarrassment you felt.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. You couldn’t focus in class, your mind tangled in a mess of thoughts and the new insecurity of being interpreted as “desperate” and touchy. When the final bell rang, you quickly gathered your things and headed for the spot where you knew your friends would be hanging out with the rest of the crew. A little feeling of just distancing yourself and taking a different route than normal arising though. You felt a pang of longing mixed with uncertainty. You liked Luffy a lot but didn’t want to weird him out or come across as desperate.
You greeted everyone with a smile but found yourself lingering on the outskirts of the group. You laughed at their jokes and joined in the conversation, but you made a conscious effort to keep yourinteractions with Luffy to a minimum.
Luffy, as usual, seemed oblivious to the subtle shift. He glanced at you a few times, his brow furrowing in brief confusion, but quickly brushed it off, focusing back on the group’s antics.
Sanji noticed your quieter demeanor and gave you a concerned look. "You alright, Y/N?" he asked, handing you a snack he had saved.
You forced a smile. "Yeah, I’m good. Just tired, I guess."
Sanji nodded, though he didn’t seem entirely convinced. "If you need anything, I’m here for you.
As you continued their walk, you couldn’t help but feel the distance growing between you and Luffy, not physically but emotionally. It was hard pretending everything was normal when all you wanted was to be close to him. But you resolved to play it cool, hoping that, in time, things would fall into place.
-
Things did not fall into place following. Infact, they got ultimately worse. Your peace had been disturbed by cruel girls who didn’t have anything better to do with their lives than make other people’s worse.
With Hancock’s words creating insecurities and adding distance to you and Luffy’s relationship over the past following weeks, she took the initiative to get closer to him.
Although the rest of the gang weren’t particularly fond of her, especially Nami and Robin, whom Hancock felt threatened by for some reason. They still withstood her presence since she was a friend’s of Luffy.
Hancock didn’t even acknowledge your presence and even made mocking intimate moves on Luffy, you assumed it was to get a reaction out of you, and Luffy being completely clueless and instead, following along.
It really irritated you, especially with learning that they’re actually rather close friends due to Hancock helping Luffy in a very difficult situation involving his older brother, whom you also never heard about until right now.
After learning of those facts, you zoned out all other thoughts and continued your studying with Chopper instead of involving in conversation. Studying and being on top of your studies was the only way to distract yourself from the boiling, almost spilling over jealousy brewing inside of you.
You acknowledge that you and Luffy were just simply good friends, but it hurt, knowing that such a stunning girl, someone who you had no competition to compete with, also harbored the same feeling as you for him. Even more with the intimacy they shared, I mean she has had to already met his family if she knows his older brother. Meanwhile, you have no idea what his life is life outside of school, soccer and the hang outs. It’s almost like you had no chance now.
That wasn’t what made matters worse, however. It was the fact that you didn’t realize that Hancock Boa and another certain green haired snake bitch were good friends.
It was a few days ago when you were heading to the courtyard where you usually met up with the gang during lunch now that the weather’s nicer. You were looking forward to some of Sanji’s homemade dishes again until you noticed the 2 girls walking ahead of you.
Boa Hancock and Monet were walking together, attached to the hip, by the fountain, chatting animatedly. The sight made your stomach drop.
"Since when are those two friends?" you muttered under your breath, ducking behind a nearby tree to observe them. It wasn’t long before you pieced two and two together. Your stomach dropped coming up with the conclusion that Monet, whom was close friends with your ex-boyfriend , could possible have shared everything about your harsh and private situation with Hancock. The worst.
Your heart pounded in your chest as the realization sank in. If Monet had told Hancock, it was only a matter of time before it became hot gossip for the entire school.
As you approached the usual meeting spot, your mind raced with anxiety. What if Hancock used that information against her? What if she tells the others and they believe her without knowing your side of the story? What if Luffy thinks differently of you? thoughts were almost too much to bear. You were sick to your stomach, you headed out of the garden and on to the nurses office, where you skipped class and remained for the rest of the day in. Texting the others and apologizing for not being with them, stating you felt nauseous and puked earlier.
Those thoughts didn’t stop, provoking you and making you over think nonstop, even more. It wasn’t until you were at home, ready for bed, after hours of lying there staring at the ceiling that your eyes finally got tired, did the thoughts stop.
It was saturday morning, and no school to remind you of your previous overthinking from before. While the light stomach feeling was there, you brushed it off and continued with your morning routine of eating breakfast with your family and brushing your teeth.
You opened your phone with multiple texts from your friend’s Group chat and some seperate texts from Nami asking if you’re feeling better & if you’re gonna tag along with them as well as what you’re gonna wear.
Your friends had planned to meet up later at this new sushi place they opened up near the area. You felt bad for ditching yesterday during lunch so you gathered up the courage to get out of bed and fix yourself up to go.
Much to your dismay, Hancock was already there, sitting in the bus stop booth with a smug look on her face. You didn’t know who invited her since there was no notification or record that she was invited to the group chat, where all the details of the meet up are in, but you lightly cursed them.
"Y/N," Hancock greeted, her tone dripping with false sweetness. "I see you’re gonna be bothering us today."
You forced a smile. "Hey, Hancock. Waiting for the others?"
"Yes," Hancock replied, her smile turning sharp. "And it looks like we are alone right now. I was meaning to let you know something.”
Your stomach churned. "About what?"
Hancock took a step closer, her eyes narrowing. "About how you should be ashamed of yourself."
Your breath hitched. "What are you talking about?"
"Oh, come on, Y/N. Don’t play dumb," Hancock sneered. "I know everything about what happened with your ex. You really think you deserve someone like Luffy after that mess?"
Your heart sank. So, it happened. Monet had shared the details of YOUR breakup with Hancock. You felt a wave of anger and betrayal wash over you. “That’s none of your business, Hancock."
"None of my business?" Hancock echoed with a mocking laugh. "Please. It’s everyone’s business when you’re trying to worm your way into Luffy’s life. You don’t deserve him. If you cheated once, you’ll do it again. and Luffy doesn’t deserve a whore.”
You digged your nails into your palms, struggling to keep your composure. "You don’t know the whole story or the truth.”
"Maybe not," Hancock conceded, "but I know enough. And so will everyone else if you don’t back off from Luffy."
At that moment, the rest of the crew started to arrive, their laughter and chatter filling the air. Hancock’s expression shifted back to its usual charm, playing innocent and unaware, leaving you fuming and on edge.
As the group gathered, Luffy noticed your tense demeanor. "Hey, Y/N, you okay?"
You forced another smile, not wanting to worry him. "Yeah, I’m fine. Just a long day."
But inside, you were reeling. Hancock’s words had struck a nerve, and now you had to figure out what would you even tell your friends, Luffy, if it is that they hear Hancock’s words without your explanation.

Inked secrets
Tumblr media
A/N: Modern School AU. I inscribed his name on my notepad, sparking the creation of another one-shot story.
The classroom windows welcomed the late afternoon sun, allowing its golden rays to cast a warm glow upon the meticulously arranged desks. You sat alone at your desk, basking in the peaceful quiet of the room. You were jotting down notes from the blackboard to your notebook. Your mind, however, was occupied by the thoughts of your crush.
“T r a f a l g a r  L a w”
As you absentmindedly traced the letters of his name on the notebook, a silly smile played on your lips. The doodle was accompanied by a small heart, a secret declaration of your feelings. You leaned your elbow on the desk, resting your cheek on your hand, gazing at the window with a dreamy expression, lost in a blissful daydream.
You were suddenly jolted back to reality when a hand swiftly snatched the notebook from your desk.
Startled, you looked up to see Penguin, a mischievous grin on his face, holding your notebook. Panic and embarrassment flooded your senses as he flipped through the pages, landing on the one with Law's name and your doodle.
"Someone's had a crush on our friend." Penguin teased, raising an eyebrow as he continued to inspect the notebook.
"Give it back!" you exclaimed, your cheeks burning with embarrassment. You jumped to your feet, determination in your eyes, and lunged towards Penguin, who held the notebook just out of your reach.
Penguin, enjoying the situation, held the notebook high, stretching his arm to the maximum. As you attempted to snatch it back, he playfully pushed you away, eliciting a frustrated cry from you.
"Shachi! catch!" Penguin called out, tossing the notebook toward the unsuspecting Shachi who entered the scene. You followed the notebook's trajectory, your eyes widening as Shachi caught it with ease.
"Hey!" you shouted, chasing after Penguin and Shachi as they bolted out of the classroom. The pursuit continued up the stairs, the sound of your footsteps echoing through the corridors.
As the trio reached the rooftop, Law looked up from his peaceful rest on the bench, annoyance etching his usually calm features. The noise from downstairs had disrupted his moment of solitude, and he furrowed his brows at the chaotic scene unfolding before him.
Penguin and Shachi, grinning like school boys caught in mischief, stood at the rooftop's edge, your notebook still in Shachi's hands. You, breathless and determined, arrived at the scene, demanding the return of your precious possession. Law sighed, realizing that the tranquility he sought was now shattered by the whirlwind of emotions and laughter that enveloped the rooftop.
Law's measured steps brought him closer to Penguin and Shachi, a subtle authority emanated from him. His outstretched hand silently demanding the notebook's return. Shachi, understanding the unspoken command, handed over the prized possession to Law. You watched in anticipation as Law took hold of the notebook, his usually composed demeanor hinting at the slightest curiosity.
Penguin and Shachi, sensing the tension, walked past Law and stood behind you. The two exchanged glances, their mischievous grins turning into expectant expressions. Law approached you, his hand signaling for you to take back your notebook. Your hand reached out, eager to reclaim your doodle-filled sanctuary.
However, as your fingers brushed against the pages, Law pulled it away, his wrist folding upward in a surprising move.
"Kidding," Law declared, a hint of amusement in his voice. Your heart skipped a beat at the unexpected twist. He opened the notebook and scanned its contents. Your eyes widening in panic, leaving you frozen and anxious.
The moment felt like an eternity until Law sighed, closing the notebook.
"What's the fuss about this? It's just a bunch of doodles," he remarked, handing the notebook back to you. Relief washed over you, and you took it with a mix of gratitude and confusion.
(Maybe he didn't see it) you thought, trying to calm your racing heart.
Penguin tilted his head, confusion evident on his face. "Huh?"
Law's sharp gaze turned to Penguin and Shachi.
"Stop teasing her, will you? You guys even interrupted my rest," he scolded them, the annoyance returning to his voice.
Then, he focused on you. Your eyes met, and he delivered a stern message,
"A notebook is used for studying and not for anything else."
You frowned at Law's authoritative tone.
"You don't get to decide what I do with it!" you retorted, clutching the notebook to your chest and shooting a defiant look at him.
Turning away from Law, you decided to take matters into your own hands. You punched Penguin and Shachi on their arms, a mix of frustration and playfulness in your actions.
"Ouch!" Penguin yelped, rubbing his arm.
The three of you left the rooftop, chattering animatedly as you descended the stairs. Law stood still, left behind in the quiet solitude of the rooftop.
His right hand formed a fist, and he absentmindedly pressed it lightly against his lips. A subtle smile played on his lips, and his cheeks felt unusually warm, unable to conceal the amusement sparkling in his eyes.
A rare, softer side of him emerged as he recalled your face, the way you stood up for yourself. Without your knowledge, Law had decided to play along and lied about not seeing his name etched in your notebook, accompanied by a heart sign. To him, it was a cute and endearing gesture. He harbored feelings for you, much like you did for him, but he struggled with how to approach you.
With the knowledge of your secret now known to him, Law couldn't help but giggle like a kid. Deeply inhaling, he cleared his throat to bring himself back to his usual stoic demeanor.
"This is bad," Law whispered to himself, his thoughts consumed by you. As he stood alone on the rooftop, a newfound warmth spread within him, and he found himself unable to stop thinking about you.
The rooftop now held a shared secret, a subtle connection between the two of you that had unfolded in the most unexpected way.

Asking Jack for a nut vid a week after passing him around at a dinner party.
He texts back immediately, saying some bullshit about how he’s “in class” and “just give him an hour”.
His tune changes when you send him a screenshot of an email to the Dean you’re drafting, complete with video attachments of him begging to be used and beaten and brainwashed.
“I hit send in ten minutes :)”
The video you receive shortly before his allotted time is up is shaky and poorly angled, lens all smudged as Jack sets his phone on the toilet paper dispenser before stepping back. He’s flushed and wheezing from the exertion of getting to the edge during a thoroughly unarousing lecture. It looks like he’s trying to yank his dick off out of frustration.
“Thank you…for letting me be useful-oh god!” He whines, tipping his head back until it smacks the stall wall with a loud bang.
The unmistakeable creak of the bathroom door opening has him swallowing down the ragged, labored pants he’s been treating you too thus far. Not wanting to taint your request with the sound of some other guy pissing, Jack frantically speeds up until he’s bowing down, knees shaking, to spill between his fingers. A bit of cum loudly splats onto the floor, and he frantically snatches a long strand of toilet paper to wipe it clean. The video jolts when he smacks his head on the dispenser on his way back up.
“Shit, hope that was uh, good,” he whispers in a daze before ending the video. A moment later, he receives a selfie of you and half a dozen classmates, all failing to suppress your laughter.
“Good boy! See you tonight :) I’m inviting friends <3”

idk if you've already answered this but.. how did dae ho learned about the lawyer?
I haven't actually!
Like said in his intro, his father is a forensic doctor, and he is a distant workmate of darling! So he probably mentioned them once or twice. However that is not how he met you precisely.
I feel like he met you while he was in high-school. He studied in a prestige high-school, obviously. He had a mask where he was Mr. Perfect but he never really cared about anything. And he noticed how his parents looked at him, and felt like a monster.
Maybe one day a "friend" of the swimming club, one who wanted to go to law school, mentioned a rising star in law school, someone that experienced lawyers found brilliant.
You <3
It was uni hunting season, students trying for their dream university, and he searched darling out of bored curiosity. But the more he watched (aka stalked you) and your texts, your speeches online, your story as a "criminal's" child, more he "understood" you.
He fell in love with your determination and acts of service. You had such a strong passion, something he didn't have at all. His logic decided then to help you purge the evil in the world without having to dirty your hands per se.
He follows the mentality of if you kill a killer, the population of killers is still the same. But if you kill 100 killers.....
However, if you want to make AUs, or change to fit another narrative you like, that's fine too! Just keep the original essence, you know?
KEEP IN MIND: You and Dae-ho have an age gap, but it's not huge. When he was 18 leaving high-school (when he meet you), darling was around 22... something along those lines.

wc: 1.1k (more drabble than fic tbh)
tags: Virgin Higuruma | Friends to Lovers (?)
a/n: Really just an excuse for me to spew unhinged thoughts about FirstTimeHiguruma...Suggestive but nothing really explicit. Kinda told in his POV. Dunno if I'll ever develop this into a full story but enjoy...whatever this is??
Tumblr media
Maybe...maybe he's in his mid20s, 2nd year of law school. Is a little insecure and defensive because he's got a bit of that internalised misogyny. Just a smidge. What's the big deal anyway, why are people so obsessed with sex - those conversations aren't worth his time. Don't his peers have better things to brag about or bond over?
Keeps his head down and mostly to himself. Ignores the couples snogging under the shade of sycamore trees as he cuts across the quad, averts his eyes from insufficiently surreptitious fingers skimming up thighs in coffee shops - Even the damn library isn't a place of refuge; with people sneaking off to the dimly lit, dusty sections where the obscure maritime law tomes are shelved but no apparently he's the one committing an invasion of privacy when he just wanted to look up the applications filed at the Tribunal for the Hoshinmaru case (2007, Japan V. Russian Federation) and not get an eyeful of folks sticking hands down pants.
So one day the two of you are hanging out in his room and somehow the topic comes up and he goes on an amusingly/impressively feminist rant about virginity just being a sexist myth and concept contrived to make (women's) chastity a commodified fetish as if they were prized chattel and why would he want to acknowledge any part of that antiquated invention and he has better things to do and why are you looking at him like that when you both have a Commercial Law exam to mug for, isn't that why you showed up in the first place?
And umm do you want his jacket, seems like you'd be chilly in that loose hanging top - it's slipped a little off your shoulder by the way - and why are you stalking- walking towards him like that and hangonhangonhangonhey-
Now see what you've done! You made him trip backwards on his bed and you're still leaning in way too close and since when did you start wearing lip gloss - wait you aren't? And that's just the natural shade of your mouth? oh ok cool cool cool fine goodtoknow - huh? why's it good for him to know? No- no reason- no he hasn't been wondering all evening - and wait why are you dropping to your knees now, come on, stop, you're taking this joke way too far like always - can't you tell it's humiliating for the both of you - huh? Did you just say you've always found him cute? The adjective ascribed to marsupials? You're associating it with him??
You like seeing his cheeks this colour? It reminds you of his frostbitten face when the two of you were the last to leave the library last winter semester, trekking across the field with just his nose peeking out from the higgly-piggedly stacked layers of his scarf, still trying to crack jokes to make you laugh and it had worked because you remember the sting of your chapped lips long after he walked you back to your room?
And well that's um...quite a vivid portrait of him, he doesn't really have that type of memory - No, he didn't mean that - of course he remembers the first evening you and him met and quickly became study buddies, pals, friends - definitely friends - and uuuhhhh are you sure this is something friends do?
Because now you have both hands resting on his parted thighs, your head nestled on his knee, how can you look so comfortable like this, with your cheek nuzzling lightly into his lap, moving a little further and further up to the throbbing, pounding pitch in his pants with every passing minute that he doesn't push you away or tell you to stop, he's never ached like this before, not even in his hormone-swamped dreams of the cloying feverish adolescence he thought he'd left behind years ago, and he thought he'd given into those futile impulses often enough not to be controlled by them, but no, the stifling denim swelling rises faster and faster the more desperately he tries to fight it, till the tented fabric is just about sweeping your cheek and hell, you shouldn't look so pleased with yourself, having this effect on him just by looking up at him through dark lashes and a darker gaze, but something's midnight-bright in them, like starlight in the pitch of winter
Like that night you'd both clambered up to the roof, abandoning the cacophony of the house party below, precariously perched with a couple beers and a quarter of the vodka you'd snagged on impulse, and you'd clung so tight to him, scuffling on the shingles, burying your squeaks and breathy giggles into his nape, shushing his chastisements midway as you passed the swig of the bottle directly from your mouth to his, and he remembers this, a careless question he's pondered more often than he'd like to admit, how he'd been unable to distinguish if the lingering scorch was from the distilled juniper or your lips, puffing little white clouds in this cloudless, snow-crisped evening, with you pressed into his body heat, teetering on the ledge and looking up at the spray of diamonds embroidered into the velvet of night, pointing out patterns in the celestial tapestry, both of you feigning expertise in astronomy before bursting into laughter at the blatant fibs when one of you, he can't recall which of you, gestures at a cluster of seven stars and declares it "the Big Slipper" and who knows what other snarky quips and idle half-truths you exchanged that night, he only recollects your confession that you were actually pretty terrified of heights, the admission crystal clear in his memory because he remembers the evidence, remembers the way your pulse was embedded in his bones, the way his blood was thrumming with the wild thudding of your heartbeat until he wrapped his arms securely around you, your ribs rising and falling slowly into sync with his and some other memory splinters its way to the surface now, crackling through his subconscious, how the air froze in his lungs for no reason, no reason at all, when his eyes settled on you looking up, again with your lips looking a little chapped, enraptured by the stars above, murmuring how you wished this night with him could last forever...
And of course it didn't, winter thawed into spring, which crept into summer, which slouched into autumn, after hundreds of highlighted paragraphs on mens rea and thousands of annotations on procedural processes, after so many shots of espresso long past closing time at the on-campus coffee shop where he was a part-time barista, fuel you'd always insisted on paying for, although he'd raided innumerable cans of redbull from your dorm free of charge, and you said you didn't really like their taste anyway so then why did you always happen to have a full six-pack stocked in your fridge?
Just another mystery he's never given much mind, with all the case studies the both of yall have had to cram in your heads instead, and after losing count of the stacks of flashcards blurring in your hand and the smirks you'd flashed him every time you scored a few points higher than him on a pop quiz, and now you're here, in his room, on your knees, having pulled the Milky Way galaxy into your gaze, dragging a comet up through his belly, pillars of fire erupting in his lungs as he witnesses the moonrise of your mouth, soft lips curving crescent sharp around a question, a question just for him, both the sincere desire - the hunger - in your eyes and lilt in your tone makes his pulse leap to his throat, makes his blood plummet south as you ask, just this once, if he trusts you to make him feel good too?
And he's trembling, as is the answer on his tongue, only the familiarity of your audacity grounding him somehow, because you're asking it with that smile, the smile which has been wrapped and squeezing around his head, for longer than you could possibly know...

Chapter 1: Yearning
The sun shone brightly over Grand Line High School, signaling the start of another typical school day. Students filled the hallways, chatting excitedly about their weekend plans. Among the crowd, you walked quietly, blending into the background as you always did.
It was start of your lunch period and you were making your way to the cafeteria, hoping to find your lunch table mates. It was your first year here at Grand Line and even after 3 months into the school year, you had yet to make stable friends. Sure, you had your lunch table mates who were welcoming and kind enough to let you sit with them and avoid sitting alone at lunch. Even so, they didn’t really make an effort to talk to you outside of class.
Lost in your own thoughts, you failed to notice Tashigi approaching you in the hall.
“Hey Y/N. You’re heading to lunch?” Tashigi’s voice cut through the hallway noise, her glasses slightly askew and her bright smile, walking alongside you.
You nodded and offered a small smile in return. “Yeah I am.”
As you walked down the bustling hallways, Tashigi chatted animatedly about history class, her words flowing in a stream of excitement. You listened attentively, nodding and offering a few soft responses here and there. Preferring to observe and listen rather than dominating conversations, you find comfort in the background.
“You know, I think I finally understand that chapter about the Void Century,” Tashigi said, adjusting her glasses. “I mean, Professor Clover explains it well, but it’s so much to take in!”
You smiled slightly, appreciating Tashigi’s enthusiasm. “Yeah, it’s a lot of information. You did well on the last quiz, though.”
Tashigi’s face lit up with pride. “Thanks! I’ve been studying hard. What about you? How do you feel about it?”
“It’s interesting,” Y/N replied softly. “So much mystery. Makes you wonder what really happened.”
You both approached the cafeteria and told Tashigi that you would be lining up for the food offered at the cafeteria today. “Ah okay. I heard from Vivi that they’ll be serving sandwiches. Go now so the line doesn’t get too long.” Tashigi said and motioned to go sit at your lunch table, who you saw Vivi, Cody and Shirahosi already settled in.
You hummed and made your way to the kitchen line. The noise level had increased from the halls to the cafeteria has increased. The air filled with the chatter and laugher of students. Nearing the line, you noticed a familiar group of students already lined up. It was the Strawhat Club.
A group of chaotic and energetic filled students, whom you had no idea what their club was even focused but they seemed to always stick with each other and cause chaos here and there. You were however, kinda familiar with their leader. Luffy.
You observed and saw Luffy at the front of the line, animatedly talking with Usopp and Nami. Luffy’s laugher was infectious, his energy seemingly boundless. He was effortlessly charming, always drawing people to him like a magnet. Very known throughout the school, mostly from causing lots of trouble and bothering a couple of teachers.
As you inched forward the line, you couldn’t help but feel a pang of longing seeing Luffy so vibrant and happy. Your mind drifted back to the moment you first fell for him—a memory you cherished secretly.
It was a rainy afternoon a few months ago, and you were struggling to carry a stack of heavy boxes filled with supplies for art class. You managed to get them halfway down the hall when you tripped, the boxes teetering precariously. You just laid there, fighting the urge to cry. You were already having the most saddest and shittiest day recently and you couldn’t even muster the courage to get up and pick the loaded boxes.
“Need a hand?” a cheerful voice called out from afar.
You heard and quickly composed yourself, looking up to see one of you the students here, Luffy, wearing his signature cap turned back and a bright grin on his face. Without waiting for your response, he grabbed the boxes from the floor and steadied the rest with ease.
“Thanks,” You mumbled, feeling your cheeks warm.
“No problem! These look heavy,” Luffy said, effortlessly lifting the boxes as if they weighed nothing. He carried them to the art room, setting them down with a satisfied sigh. “There you go!”
You smiled shyly. “Thank you. That was really kind of you.”
Luffy grinned and waved it off. “Anytime! See you around.”
With that, he was off, joining his friends down the other hall. For Luffy, it was just a brief, friendly interaction, one of many in his day.
But for you, it was a moment that changed everything. His genuine kindness and the way he acknowledged your existence left a lasting impression, especially with some past events that had left your heart feeling heavy. From that day forward though, you found yourself intrigued and looking forward to getting glimpses of him in the hallways and during lunch breaks.
You became familiar with his friend group as well, observing and learning some of his friend’s name and attitudes. Which is why it didn’t surprise you that the reason why the line was sightly being held up was due to a certain moss headed individual and one of the kitchen’s student chief volunteers as well as Luffy’s friend, Sanji. Their bickering over the food options had amused you, forming a little smile your face but, was really holding up the line now.
You were startled by the loud yelling behind you.
“HURRY UP AND GET YOUR SHIT!” A certain red headed dude exclaimed. Eustass Kid. You were acquaintance with him before through a past… somebody. He had always scared you, not just with his big tall built, which suited his position in the wrestling team but with his loud angering attitude.
The arguing between the 2 from before had stopped and the group ahead served their lunches and moved out the line. Finally, it was your turn to get her lunch. Kid’s yelling from before had tensed you up so you quickly picked up a tray and moved toward the sandwich station, where Sanji was serving as a lunch volunteer. His blond hair fell elegantly over one eye, and he wore a charming smile that surely made the girls in line blush.
“Well, well, if it isn’t a lovely lady.” Sanji said with a playful wink. “What can I get for you today, beautiful? We’ve got ham and cheese, turkey, or a classic BLT.”
You felt her cheeks heat up under his gaze, used to having someone flirt at you even if you knew he’s known to do that with every girl near him. Still you managed to keep your composure. “I’ll have a turkey sandwich, please.”
“Excellent choice,” Sanji said, swiftly preparing the sandwich with a flourish. “Anything for you, my dear. How about some extra lettuce and tomatoes? Just for you.”
“Anything is fine.” you softly replied.
Sanji finished the sandwich and handed it to you with a dramatic bow. “Here you go. Made with extra care.”
“Thank you,” you gestured your tray up.
“Anytime, mademoiselle,” Sanji replied, his eyes twinkling.
With your tray in hand, you looked around for your lunch table again. The cafeteria was crowded, but seeing one of your lunch table mates fall figure, Shirahoshi, made it easier to spot your table. You made your way over, setting your tray down and taking a seat.
“Hi Y/N!” Your lunch table greeted.
Unpacked lunch boxes and books loaded with worksheets filled most of the table.
Shirahoshi sent you a cheerful smile and offered one of her yogurts to you. You smiled and kindly declined.
Observing the rest of your friends. Vivi was writing her little heart away in what you assumed was an essay prompt worksheet and Koby with Tashigi, quizzing each other using one of those heavy thick books loaded up with Marine corps information.
All of them wearing their signature student council vests. Sitting with them made you stick out like a thumb, since you didn’t have the beige colored uniform they were awarded with for being part of Student Council.
You continued eating your lunch quietly, every once in a while contributing to the conversations in the table but even so, still reserved and isolated. While you greatly appreciated them, you didn’t really feel connected with your friends. All of them were really close with one another due to the club they're all in, leaving you left out from many conversafions and activities they do.
You didn’t mind it though. They really influenced you to maintain your outstanding grades and care for your future after graduation. You were also very use to the solitude and isolation, both during in and outside of school. You had to admit though, it sucked missing out on many accompanied experiences and you missed having solid friends.
Lunch period went on and you remained quiet and reserved. Your vision drifting the table where Luffy and his friends sit at. You observed them and noticed their perfect dynamic. Luffy being the heart of the group. Teasing and bickering with one another, their affection unmistakable.
You longed to be part of something like that—a close-knit group of friends who accepted each other unconditionally, flaws and all. The groups table was a whirlwind of chaos and joy, a vivid contrast to your own quiet, isolated tiny space. Even with the yearning to be part of them, be part of Luffy’s bubble, you deemed you were not fit for such group. Your quiet and unnoticed character didn’t blend in with theirs.
That was okay. You found solace in your own quiet company, observing the world around you and cherishing the small, unnoticed moments.
~
The rest of the school day flew by in a blur for you. After lunch, you kept to herself, moving from one class to another, focusing entirely on your studies. Taking detailed notes and completing your assignments with care. Interactions with your classmates were minimal, your reserved nature making her almost invisible in the bustling environment of Grand Line High School.
As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, you packed up your things and made your way to the locker hall. The hallways, usually bustling with students, were quieter than usual today due to a late dismissal. You had to quickly for a favor of turning in papers to the office from your chemistry teacher, Caesar Clown. Seriously whose name is clown…
Most students had already left, leaving the school eerily calm.
You closed her locker and turned to leave, only to bump into a familiar figure. Your books and papers scattered across the floor, and you found herself face-to-face with Luffy, his wide grin and bright eyes catching you off guard.
"Hey, Y/N, right?" he said, his voice cheerful and energetic.
Startled, you blinked in surprise. "Uh, hi, Luffy," you replied softly, your voice barely audible in the nearly empty hallway. Quickly kneeling to pick up your scattered belongings, feeling your cheeks warm slightly with embarrassment.
Luffy immediately crouched down to help, his grin never wavering. "You hang out with Vivi sometimes, don’t you? I think I’ve seen you with her.
"Yeah, we sit together at lunch," You said, fumbling to gather your things. You weren’t used to being the center of attention, especially not from someone as popular as Luffy.
As you both stood up, your hands brushed briefly, causing you to pull yours back quickly. Luffy didn’t seem to notice, his attention already shifting to the empty hallway. "Cool," he said, nodding. He then glanced around, a look of slight concern crossing his face. "Hey, have you seen a yellow with red cap around here? I think I might've dropped it."
You heart skipped a beat. You shook her head. "No, I haven’t seen it today," your voice soft. "But I can help you look for it if you want."
Luffy’s face lit up with his characteristic grin. "Really? Thanks! I was just heading this way, so maybe it fell somewhere nearby."
Together, you started retracing his steps. You tried to focus on looking for the hat, but you just couldn’t help but steal glances at Luffy. His carefree nature and the way he treated everyone so kindly made your heart flutter.
As you both moved through the quiet hallway and out to the courtyard, Luffy chatted easily about his day, sharing funny anecdotes and laughing. You listened, smiling at his stories, feeling more at ease with every step.
After a few minutes, Luffy sighed, scratching his head. "Guess it’s really gone, huh? I’ll have to look for it again tomorrow."
You nodded, feeling a mix of guilt and anticipation. "Yeah, maybe it will turn up."
Luffy looked at you with genuine appreciation. "You’re really nice, Y/N. We should hang out more often."
You felt your warm warm at his words, and you nodded shyly. "Yeah, maybe."
As they parted ways, You felt a warmth in her chest. Your interaction had been brief, but it left you with a feeling of hope and excitement. For Luffy, it was just a simple request for help, another moment in his busy day. But for you, it was something more—a fleeting connection that made you feel seen and acknowledged.
As you walked home, you took a different route through the school courtyard to get home and to your bus stop faster.
It was there, under a bench, that you spotted a crumpled, dirty yellow striped with red hat. Your heart raced as you picked it up, recognizing it immediately as Luffy’s. The brim was torn, and it looked like it had been stepped on.
Without a second thought, you decided to take it home. Once at home, you cleaned the hat, mended the tear, and restored it as best you could. As you worked, you thought about how surprised Luffy would be when you returned it to him the next day.
You will finally have a reason to approach him again, and with any luck, it could be the beginning of something new. You hoped, but mostly for courage and confident to even approach Luffy.
For now, you felt a tiny spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, you weren’t as invisible as you thought. And maybe there was a chance for you to find a place among the chaos and camaraderie that is Luffy’s bubble.
To be continued…

Their Arms Round Him, Pressed As Though Forever
(A/N: happy birthday @philistiniphagottini !!! My tumblr bestie who has never failed to endorse my filthy ideas and shenanigans, ily so much bby 🩷🩷)
No warnings; also fun fact: kakashi was my first anime crush 💘
Tumblr media
Konoha has been far too quiet. With the war finally over, you've dutifully kept your eyes peeled for your beloved husband's return, anxiously awaiting a sign from him, from his ninken, from anyone.
Yet he has not returned to you. It has now been weeks, with no sign of your lover, and you grow anxious.
You've done everything you could, from venturing out into the wilderness surrounding the village, to haunting the hallways of the hospital. Yet he has not returned. The only reassurances you have are from his squad members, and you grow restless from those as well.
Your heart aches once more. Another day gone by, yet no progress was made.
As you watch the moon rise with tears in your eyes, you heave out a heavy sigh and sluggishly prepare for bed. Another plate of leftovers for the fridge tonight.
"Where are you, you silly man..." you wonder aloud, stumbling into the bathroom only to stare at your own reflection.
Your hair is terrible. There are dark bags under your bloodshot eyes. You haven't washed your face in days, maybe even weeks.
You sigh. "I look like shit."
"Just a little bit."
With a scream, you jump away from the sound, scrambling to grab a weapon to defend yourself from this intruder, until warm hands wrap around your wrists and a body presses against you. Silver hair tickles your nose.
"Sorry I'm late. I had some business to take care of," your husband murmurs into your ear, softly kissing the skin in apology. "I'm home."
He smells of the woods, and antiseptic, and his ninken. He smells alive.
Tears stain your eyelids. Nothing you do could stop them from spilling down your cheeks. And you weep in his arms, finally able to let the stones on your chest fall to the ground so you can breathe.
"Deep breaths, love. You're gonna choke on your own air," he chuckles humorlessly. "I'm here now. I'm sorry I took so long. I wanted you to see this."
His warm hands gently wipes your eyes dry, briefly cradling your face in his palms before pulling away and reaching into his pocket to pull out a small box. "The Cloud Village is known for its steel jewelry... I figured I'd get a souvenir for you."
You jokingly pout at him. "That is one of the most dumbest reasons I've heard from you so far," you sniffle.
But you smile nonetheless, and when he pulls out the necklace, you let him clasp it on you.
But nothing could compare to the way he wraps his arms around you once more, wordlessly letting you know that he isn't disappearing again.
And he presses you close to his heart as the moon continues to rise, and you know that he is with you. Now and forever.

LAW, KIDD, AND LUFFY X READER
SCHOOL AU
"(Y/N)! HELP ME STUDY!!!" Luffy yelled, "NO! SHE'LL BE STUDYING WITH ME!!" Kid yelled, "You two are morons. She'll be studying someone who is more like idiot" said Law.
Ah yes, here you are, stuck with these love boys, trying to make you as their own. You really want them to leave you alone, but you couldn't. They always keep bothering you.
Everybody was looking at you, you hate it when they look you, law, kid and luffy. You wonder how you ended up like this.
"WHAT YOU JUST CALLED ME!!??" Kid and luffy yelled at Law, and you sighed. You decide to leave while they're distracted. You made finally left when you about ride your bike.
You felt something tapping on your shoulder. You turned around to see luffy, "Can I come to your house?" Luffy asks. You were in shock to hear.
And law, kidd who also wants to come to your house, you face palm. You invited them to your house, and your parents asked questions. Your mom kept asking questions, wondering who these boys are.
She thought you, law, kid, and luffy are couples, but it not, and your dad was really pissed (dad proactive mood). You and the boys study in the kitchen, and your mom give them some food.
"Woah! (Y/N) You're really good at this!" Said luffy, you blush little. Kid and Law noticed and tires to make you blush. But they don't know how to.
After you finish them, their studies. They went home. The next day, they passed their tests, and they thank you. Then there was an announcement, there would be a school dance party.
Everybody was excited, and you were nervous. It was lunchtime, you sitting outside and then your bestie sitting next to you. "Hey (Y/N), I heard Law, kid, and luffy were arguing over you to dance with them!" She said.
You almost choked, "What...". Your bestie nodded her head, "why!?" You ask, "cause they're in love with you! And guess what? I told them something," She said. Your heart is beating cause your bestie says dumb shit.
"What. Did. You. Tell. Them?" You ask, readying to beat a fuck out of your bestie. "Well, I told them if they want you to dance with them, they have to impress you," she said.
Today is the school dance party, you are so nervous. You are wearing your mom old dress for her first date when she was young. It kinda old, but your auntie fixes it, and she is a fashion designer.
Here is your dress:

Your drop of, and you saw Luffy, law, and kid waiting for you. They argue which one of them holds your hands. You almost laugh. (Your bestie is out there taking pictures)
THANK YOU!!!
