This is for @ourbooksuniverse So my Granny was suddenly there for a short visit and saw me making bread, which was awkward because she was watching, but she didn’t say anything and just told me that I’m doing good and actually asked how I did the dough because it’s good (idk if she was just trying to be nice) and then she stayed longer to help me (so I can finish quicker) and flipped the bread in the pan (and then she said a bunch of stuff about marriage but let’s focus on the good - the bread) We folded it and put it in a dry and clean fabric to keep it warm and soft. The first picture was from the last dough, I was just like “Wait, I have to take a picture before I put that into the pan” She said Okay and was laughing because she thought I’m doing it for myself but NO I was taking it only for Helene 💕

My papa, after preparing the chicken: Could you cook the rice?

Me: I can't cook rice you know how it turns out.

Papa: Okay, no pr-

Me: But I could make some bread?

Papa, eyes gleaming, looking like a child: Would you do that for me? But it'll cost you time.

(Me, internally: I'd go to the end of the world for you you're the best papa and you've done so much for me even though you have your flaws you taught me how to be a decent human being I'd make some bread for the rest of my life if I could you deserve this and so much more I'd just do anything for you)
