AU idea that came to me while I was on a flight yesterday

Seeing as I’ve been too busy to actually write this for way too long now, I am now going to subject everyone in the general vicinity to my unapologetic Elements HNAU stuff cuz it needs out of my brain.

So, starting with the basics:

There are four elements. Fire, Water, Air, and Earth (yes, ATLA style (But it’s actually more inspired by alchemy don’t @ me). Characters with elements are known as “Golems”, constructed from their elements. For example, Theodore Peterson’s element is fire, so he is a Fire Golem. Golems can also construct other golems, either from themselves or from new magic and the element on it’s own. It’s usually easier to build one using their own materials, but it does take some of their magic away.

As well as this, elements can combine. The degree to which they combine varies between golems and what golems construct them, but this is essentially how you get “crossbreed” golems. If anyone’s played Dragon Mania, it’s kinda like that. Aaron is a Lava Golem, which means his constructors had to be a Fire Golem and an Earth Golem (Theo and Diane). The same goes for his sister, but Aaron is notably more segmented than Mya, whose entire body is made of lava, while Aaron’s limbs are rock and his hair is flames.

Below I’ll list everyone’s elements:

Mya: Lava

Nicky: Ice (Air x Water)

Trinity: Dust (Earth x Air)

Enzo: Water (Constructed with original magic)

Maritza: Mud (Earth x Water)

Ivan: Air

Delroy: Smoke (Fire x Air)

Fitch: Steam (Fire x Water)

Mr. Peterson: Fire

Mrs. Peterson: Earth

Mr. Roth: Air

Mrs. Roth: Water
