now the very concept of a wedding is tainted because she would never be able to have it with Vaughn, knowing he's already had it with someone else (Lauren of all people). at every turn, she would have second-guessed herself and wondered how he had felt about it the first time around or if he was comparing any of it to his other wedding... (and there's also the fact that her maid of honor/sister is in a coma 😭)

I can't believe I have to say this but ageing up the character who is a child in the book so you can tell a new romance story in your show is fucking creepy!

It was creepy when they did that in Earthsea, it was creepy when they did that in Game of Thrones and it is still creepy now in the Witcher!

So. I'm halfway through season 3 of my Alias rewatch and here are some thoughts:

1. I love Jack Bristow 😍

2. Vaughn irritates me much more this time around than he did back then, especially when he tries to judge Jack for his decisions

3. Eric Weiss!! I love him and Sydney together

4. Love to hate Arvin Sloane. It was a relief to find out about his 'extracurricular activities'

5. Sydney having absolutely none of Sloane's bullshit

6. I hate Lauren 😠

7. Marshall! 🥰

8. 'Breaking Point' was so good (especially knowing what's coming)

9. Jack being a protective father and he will stop at nothing (yes, murder) to protect Sydney

10. Jack calling Sydney 'sweetheart' (yes, I'm keeping count, what of it)
