"And for our fifth battle, Johto's beloved Golden Boy will be facing off against world renowned ex-Champion Green Sylvanus Oak! Let's see what the Indigo League has to offer!"

As Gold walks up onto the platform on his side of the field, he is surprisingly calm and focussed. Even if this is a contest, at its core a battle is still a battle. He feels at ease. Green takes his place on the other side of the field, looking vaguely irritable, and Gold sends him a smile. Then the floor opens, revealing the field they would battle on.

Gold already decided on which pokémon to use, and as both trainers' platforms are elevated along with the rising battle field - a smaller scale model of the area around Sootopolis - he unclips two pokéballs from his belt. Both him and Green send out their pokémon at the same time, and Gold's Typhlosion and Furret soon find themselves staring down at a Vaporeon and Volcarona on the opposite end of the field.

A countdown starts alongside the first notes of music. Bubbles steps closer to her partner and gently brushes her tail against his side. Both she and Turnip look excited and ready to fight.

4… 3… 2… 1…

The music kicks off for real, and Gold reacts immediately, shouting his first command. "To the centre!" His pokémon both dash off, going right for the mountain in the middle of the field, and Green seems to have given a similar order because so do the Volcarona and Vaporeon. Bubbles and Turnip are faster however, Quick Attacks carrying them both across the water as they - partners in more than just battle - move in perfect sync from platform to platform.

They reach the top of the mountain before their opponents do, stand proudly on the model volcano's rim with their heads held high, Turnip overseeing the entire field from above while Bubbles quickly half-curls around his feet, expectantly staring towards the two others rapidly approaching.

Green's pokémon soon get close, and Gold sees him open his mouth to call an attack. "Shout!" he instructs before the other can get any words out. The pair on the mountain responds, a scream powerful enough to shatter glass joining together with an earth-shaking roar as the two let loose a Hyper Voice and Roar attack respectively.

The audience stands noticeably tremble from the combined force of both moves spreading through the stadium, tremors passing through the ground like foreshocks warning of something greater yet to come. Unable to withstand it, Volcarona and Vaporeon are swiftly blown back to Green's side of the field, crashing down onto the platform they came from.

Gold doesn't give them a chance to pick themselves back up before he calls out, "Turnip, now!" Understanding the order, the fire type in question briefly tenses up, letting pressure build up for less than a second - and then lava is exploding from the back of his neck, the force of each burst shooting molten rock and fire through the air, up high into the sky. From his spot on top of the mountain, under the blinding light of the sun above, his signature attack's reach expands across the entire field, and he lets out a mighty roar.

As predicted, something greater does come. The dormant volcano that shielded Sootopolis from the rest of the world for so long finally erupts.

    back he comes, carrying their drinks. maybe it was a bad idea to have red, out of the both of them, order the drinks but he agreed anyway. for some reason. he guesses that green looked way too comfortable lounging in that lounge chair with his sunglasses on. sigh.

     It was a beautiful day... to go the the Hano Grand Resort beach. Maybe she’d pick up some Pyukumuku and throw them back into the water. IT would have been great. But then she saw it. And she knew. Today was definitely not that day. So she’d turn on her heel and walk away from the vicinity. 

          "Uff... Silly me for thinking it was a lovely day...”

     Who did she see? Course somebody she didn’t really wanna see at the moment.

The most obvious one I can think of right now is an AU where Red failed to beat Green when they battled for the Championship, or an AU where Green is the one who faces Team Rocket, essentially a role reversal AU.

         The mute doesn’t stop himself from walking but he does slow down enough. He isn’t all that fond of the name that’s been said and gives a look with his slightly turned head as if to say it silently.

          The electric type is snoozing in his bag at the moment -- thankfully -- but the little one in his arms that makes a sad attempt to climb out to peek his head out for the other. ( at least somebody had the decency to make a full turn to look at the rival ) There is a small, but quiet bark that comes from the ground type before he throws his bone at Green.

What is your ideal AU for your muse?

I’m not sure if it’s ideal, but I really wanna experiment AU where he’s spliced with a Pokemon, or an AU where he’s not actually Green, but a Suicune disguised as a trainer named Green. I’d love to do both rps, but ahhh I’m nervous.

3 BASICS

I am a science nerd with a plausibility boner and will scream at every plothole I see before trying to fix it. My hcs probably all have a really good explanation - even if I haven't found it for some yet.

I might seem hard to approach because I can be a sarcastic lil shit and the characters I play don't help either, but I'm actually a shy noodle that gets overexcited at times and will send you memes at 3AM.

I love making hcs and world building and all that good stuff. As a result I have a whole bunch of AUs and crossover verses, way more than are listed on my verses page, and I'd like to rp them sometime too.

EXPERIENCE

How’d You Start: For tumblr rp - I'm actually from the shippy fanart and fic writing corner originally. An art friend in the FMA fandom introduced me to tumblr rp with her Ed blog, and I've met a few other friends that had rp blogs on the side as well. Things sort of went from there. Then I decided to bring back a character from my pre-tumblr days and now Fire is here. As for rp in general, I have no fucking clue.

Platforms You’ve Used: Skype, Tumblr, Discord, a sheet of paper and a whole bunch of coloured pens

Worst Experience: Not getting into this, nope.

Best Experience: On here without a doubt the times I'd pull allnighters to thread with @laurelwrxathed and we'd get up to 30 replies done in a few hours together because we were so invested in our threads. Fun times.

MUSE PREFERENCES

Original or Canon: I prefer playing canon but I don't mind interacting with either as long as I can get to know the character well enough.

Favourite Face: :'D and ;A;

Least Favorite Face: Every face I draw in profile ever.

Multi or Single: Multiship and multiverse all the way, I like keeping all options open for the future. Single- and multimuse blogs are both fine and I have both as well.

Mirror Friendly?: I WOULD BE IF I WASN'T THE ONLY ACTIVE INDIE FIRE I KNOW! If anyone knows any other indie Fires PLEASE tell me because duplicate shenanigans are fun!

WRITING PREFERENCES

Plots or Memes: Both is good though I prefer some minor plotting for bigger threads because obvious reasons.

Best Time to Write: Whenever I effin' feel like it.

Do You Like Your Muse(s): yES I love Fire so much even if he can be an asshole at times and I want to scream about him always aaaAAA! I love all my other muses too, especially the GS ones, and yes please talk to me about all these nerds. 

How Long (Months/Years?): My first serious rp was a bunch of really bad script format stuff on Skype in 2013. I later got into tumblr RP in 2015, and this blog in particular has existed since over a year and a half now, though I've only been really doing stuff with it for little under a year.

Female or Male: I'd like to say I have no preference but most of the characters I play are male... as far as who I interact with goes though, I'm open to all. 

Fluff, Angst or Smut: All, though I'm hesitant about smut, especially if it's public and if we don't know each other well. Fluff is nice but can get really tiring to write for me, but angst is 100% my thing.
