Tralasciamo il fatto che avessi già le mutandine zuppe, ma quando mi ha chiesto di scegliere quale dovesse mettere, ho davvero pensato di correre nel cesso a masturbarmi

And it's interesting that it was their OC Fuji that originally inspired the basic premise of Cyrus' story and thus him name, which was a pokemon OC story where multiple evil teams made mewtwos and the different 'twos started calling eachother after their creators (IE Cyrus' adopted mom is named Rocket)

Of course, it's more complicated than that now, but being a dragon-type mewtwo made by Team Galactic is still Cyrus' origin story

Where are you from? What is your time zone? Grew up in the East Coast, currently back living there. EST timezone.

How long is your roleplay experience? Easily 15+ years. I did RP on DeviantArt of all things (and even became a mod of said rp); moved to tumblr RP when it got popular, but then took a break for a few years when tabletop games took interest proper; returned to RP when Cecil and I found TOA.

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? Outside of DeviantArt, I grew up playing a lot of make believe games with friends, which eventually moved to text. But really, dA was the big one that hooked me to RP proper....wild...

How were you introduced to TOA? Cecil was the one who found it? But I was wishing for more tumblr RPs around the time, since discord ones felt too intimidating.

Do you have any pets? Viola! Cute lil cat daughter

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period) I like the part of fall where the leaves change colours. Seeing flora change in general is fun for me.

What is your IRL occupation? IT Support; I also do game dev (mainly TTRPG) on the side when I can

Some interests and things you like/enjoy? I like running TTRPG games, drawing, designing and coding spreadsheets. Making improv games on the fly, rules and all. I also like exploring new places, especially when they're local. Picnics on the beach or park are great.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? A lot, but the game I just beat is Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm the sole remaining World Flipper fan- I mean, I like JRPGs a lot, so games like LiveALive and Chrono Cross come to mind as well.

Favorite Pokemon type & Pokemon: Bug type. Snom, Grubbin, Pinurchin, Trapinch, pokemon that have the shape (tm) are my favorites. I've always had a soft spot for the Lati duo as well.

Tell us some funfacts and trivia about yourself! I've lived in Japan for a fair bit, and became N5 proficient through that. I'm trying to study for N4. I will also never stop talking about TTRPG - namely that I make games and one of them is Fire Emblem based.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? NO JOKE BUT I first learned of Fire Emblem through some promotional pamphlet that came with Pokemon Sapphire I think??? And then saw them in Smash. Cecil definitely helped me get into it proper.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? Easier to say what I haven't, which is FE1 and FE3 (or their remakes). Only played Echoes, not FE2. The only games I started and never beat are Warriors, Three Hopes, and FE5.

First & Favorite Fire Emblem games: First exposure was one of the GBA, but Awakening was the first I beat proper, I think. My favorite FE games are 4 and 6.

List your 5 favorite Fire Emblem characters across the series! Niamh, Joshua, Hugh, Idunn, Lethe? Those are the first to come to mind that I consistently like.

Who was the first character ever to make you go “ooh I like this one in particular” and why? Can be any context and reason! This would have been so long ago...I liked characters like Chad, Lugh, Ricken, etc because they were the 'small boy who might not be taken seriously' type. Which, given I was a lot younger back then, also treated younger than i was by my family, and starting to realize I don't define my gender neatly, they were important characters to sympathize with.

Any Fire Emblem crushes? 😳 All my crushes are in Tellius LMAO but like. Titania. Nailah. Powerful Women....

If you’ve played (or are familiar with) the following games, who was your first S support? Favorite Fire Emblem class? I like the ones where you can fly. Kinshi Knight is one of my favorites for the design and unique combination of flyer and bow.

Do you believe you have a type of character you gravitate towards writing? I like writing characters who appear composed, put together, etc, but are actually definitely not. Their ability to empathize is either super good or they struggle dearly (but are aware of that shortcoming). the more unconventional their gender, identity, etc is, the better.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? Honestly any character with a sizeable amount of lore. I'd just spend way too much time worrying I interpreted one of their support conversations wrong or don't do the character 'the right way'.

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I like writing situations where the characters learn a new facet about themselves, or discover a place beyond their wildest dreams.

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? Maybe something that lets me explore Hugh's past or defines Niamh pre-meeting Cipher crew?

Favorite TOA-related memories? Candy game was fun. I also liked the teamwork and memery I had in BOEL this year.

Got any potential muse delusions to share? 😉 Sommie :) Both joking and genuinely serious. I love a small Frienb and i think it would be interesting to dive into the fact that Sommie has been around for a very long time, but realistically I'd probably only play him for a few months. Aside from Sommie, there are a couple of FE6 characters (Lugh, Raigh, Idunn) who could be fun but I like sticking to one muse per game. Constance I think about off and on but she hits my 'has too many supports' and therefore I'd worry about playing right. I still rotate the Three Hopes supports I read though. Maybe someday

Hi, besties! 

Today is a very special day. It’s my one-year anniversary of writing fanfic! Before this blog, I’d never written fanfic before. I had no idea what I was doing when I posted Only Here To Sin. If it wasn’t for the lovely community I’ve found on Tumblr, I would have probably given up early on. I am thankful for everyone who has been there to give me love and encouragement over the past year. I especially want to give love to my Day One, Lati. @jjkeverlast You are part of why I’ve stayed on Tumblr for so long and still enjoy writing fanfic even when shit gets tough. In this world you can’t have one without the other. Cause (Latias) and Effect (Latios) are conjoined twins whose combined psychic powers allow them to see the past and the future. Cause is very quiet and shy while Effect is more outgoing. They work together to control their body and spend a lot of their time simply flying around the world.

General Information: Darkrai, the Pitch Black Pokémon. This Pokémon is the stuff of legends, a being said to give unending nightmares and bad dreams, who can only be thwarted by a feather from Cresselia (Lunar Feather).

Like all legends, this has some truth to it. Darkrais are not all the same in their desires and their motivations. Darkrai are most likely to come out on moonless nights, when it’s easiest to hide under the cover of darkness. There they will seek out the nightmares of others and feed upon them. When defending themselves from threats, intruders, and so forth, they will unleash nightmares to scare them away. Darkrai are incapable of receiving nutrition from the nightmares that they create because they can’t receive a net gain of energy from the very things that they create.

Darkrais average at 4’11 feet tall (1.5 M) and 111.3 pounds (50.5 kg).

Habitat: Darkrai can be found anywhere, but tend to live in isolation away from people until the time comes every lunar cycle to feed.

Life Cycles: Unknown. Darkrai are known to live for incredibly long times, but the specifics are a mystery. There are many of them in the world, estimates suspect at least a thousand of them. It is unsure what could possibly eat them, nor do they seem to be in much competition with other Pokémon, barring the Drowzees and Munnas of the world.

Divine Lineage: Unknown, but believed to be demigodal beings akin to the legendary birds, Lati@s, etc. They most likely share an ancestry with Cresselia, but research is still out about the specifics.

Behavior: Darkrai are solitary creatures who rarely show themselves. They will appear in nightmares either that they feed upon or those that they inflict, which leads to a lot of confusion over the particular nature of Darkrais. They can be rather protective of their territory if it feels threatened, and individuals have been known to lash out at humans and Pokémon alike for apparent disrespects.

Diet: They eat bad dreams.

Conservation: Unknown

Relationship with Humans: Darkrai have been the subject of children’s fairytales and legends for countless generations. Their association with bad dreams, whether they be inflicting them or eating them, causes a natural contention amongst humans. Humanity has collectively decided that Darkrais are bad luck, they are the embodiment of nightmares, the harbingers of doom and destruction, and often associated with Absols despite the fact that Absols are actually kind creatures who forewarn of danger, rather than bring it. Still, humans are humans, and we are not without our many prejudices. More than one regent or emperor of the past has tried to have their knights and warriors kill a local Darkrai to mixed results.

In modern times, Darkrai are often associated with Halloween in media, or as a stand-in “evil” Pokémon. Many don’t believe that Darkrais actually exist, and the study of them tends to fall under cryptozoology.

Classification: The scientific name of Darkrai is Malhypnos darkrai. “Mal” means “bad” and “hypnos” is the Greek god of sleep. It is believed to be related to Cresselia, but the specifics of this are uncertain and difficult to prove.

And obv the two are VERY flustered with how bold and eager reader and are trying to convince them to go for a guy their age but reader is like "NAH older men are hotter~"

Or Yashiki, Daimon, and Mashita are understandably drained from their jobs and now have to deal with the spirits, so their lovely s/o offers to "take care of" them and properly spoil them so they can sit back and let them do everything <33

UN AFRICANO PONE ALCUNE DOMANDE INQUIETANTI SULL’ISLAM

Far eguagliare Cristianità biblica con razzismo verso i neri è in ogni modo assurdo. Dobbiamo ricordare che Mosè, il profeta, sposò una donna africana .

Shulamit nel cantico dei cantici era nera e africana e bellissima. Il Dio della Bibbia odia il razzismo.

Ora quello che mi sconcerta è sapere che i neri nel mondo stanno cadendo così facilmente in quella che credo sia una reale religione razzista: l’Islam.

L'islam odia i neri. Nessun nero entrera' nel paradiso in quanto nero!

Come africano sono anche molto sconcertato dalla mancanza di ricerca storica equilibrata fatta dai neri riguardo agli africani.

Sappiamo che nel Nord Africa l’intera regione Sahariana del Marocco, della Libia, dell’Algeria e dall’Egitto fino al Sudan e all’Etiopia era cristiana prima che l’Islam arrivasse e distruggesse le chiese locali. Perché non sentiamo parlare di questo nella storia?

E consideriamo questo: l’Africa ha dato origine a grandi pensatori come Agostino da Hippo (Algeria), Clemente e Anastasio d’Egitto e Tertulliano di Cartagine (Tunisia), mentre l’Etiopia ha avuto la prima chiesa africana totalmente indipendente dall’Europa (Atti 8).

Trovo infatti molto interessante che la chiesa africana sia stata costituita prima di quanto non lo sia stata la chiesa in Gran Bretagna, in Canada, negli Stati Uniti, in Spagna, etc. Così, perché non sentiamo parlare di questa chiesa africana? E perché non vediamo tracce di questa oggi?

La storia del Sudan è un ottimo esempio. Prima dell’invasione musulmana del 1275 d.C. operata dall’islamico Mamluks d’Egitto, il Sudan aveva tre mini stati cristiani chiamati: NOBATIA, nel Nord, la cui capitale era Qustul. MAKURIA, la cui capitale era la vecchia Dondola. ALODIA, o ALWA, la cui capitale era Soba.

Queste tre regioni cristiane dal 300 d.C. al 1500 d.C. avevano la loro propria lingua scritta, avevano grandi centri di apprendimento, di commercio internazionale con l’Egitto, l’Etiopia e altri stati del Medio Oriente e inviavano missionari negli altri stati africani (vedi K. Milhasowski, FARAS, vol. 2, Poland 1965 per una documentazione storica e archeologica maggiore di questi stati).

Ma tutto questo fu distrutto dagli invasori musulmani nel 1295 d.C. non dai colonizzatori europei! Lo stesso tipo di distruzione massiccia

successe in tutta l’Africa, ma mai abbiamo sentito attribuire la responsabilità ai musulmani. Perché?

E non è finita... Nel 1990 il Sudan, nel Nord-Est dell’Africa ha subito la guerra gihad musulmana durante la quale migliaia di cristiani e non credenti sono morti per crocifissione o hanno subito l’amputazione di una mano e di un piede a lati opposti. E’ solo accidentale che troviamo nel Corano, Sura 5:33, la menzione di questa pratica?

UNA DOMANDA INQUIETANTE CHE RIGUARDA LO SCHIAVISMO MUSULMANO

E questo mi porta a fare delle considerazioni a proposito della schiavitù. I musulmani dicono che è solo un fenomeno cristiano.

Mentre l’Impero Britannico aboliva la schiavitù sotto la pressione di cristiani britannici come David Livingston e William Wilbeforce, i musulmani arabi schiavizzavano gli africani (i.e. seguendo la promessa di Allah riguardante “i prigionieri che la tua giusta mano possiede” dalla Sura 4:3). Non hai letto a proposito dell’isola di Zanzibar e Pembe nell’Africa Orientale durante il XIX secolo?

Oppure non hai mai chiesto perché gli stati musulmani non sono mai stati coinvolti nel movimento per l’abolizione della schiavitù?

Mentre gli europei erano impegnati con la tratta degli schiavi per poche centinaia di anni, l’esistenza del traffico di schiavi africani era stata ben solidificata già mille anni prima.

L’affermazione musulmana che attribuisce l’intera colpa per l’invenzione e la pratica della schiavitù dei neri alle porte dell’Europa cristiana è semplicemente non attendibile. Entrambe le società greca e romana erano state schiaviste: per la maggior parte i loro schiavi erano caucasici. Infatti la parola schiavo deriva da'' slavo''. Robert Hughes nel suo saggio “The Traying of America” apparso sul Time Magazine il 3 febbraio 1992 corregge questa falsa affermazione quando dice:

“La tratta degli schiavi, così come il mercato nero, era una invenzione araba sviluppata dai commercianti con la collaborazione appassionata dei neri africani. Fu istituzionalizzata con la più implacabile brutalità secoli prima che l’uomo bianco apparisse nel continente africano e continuo per lungo tempo dopo che il mercato di schiavi in Nord Africa era stato definitivamente annientato... Nulla negli scritti del profeta (Maometto) vieta lo schiavismo, per questo divenne un business dominato dagli arabi. E il traffico di schiavi non sarebbe esistito senza la collaborazione di stati tribali dell’Africa, edificati sulla scorta di prigionieri generati dalle loro implacabili guerre. L’immagine promulgata dalle fictions moderne come Roots, radici, in cui degli schiavisti bianchi irrompono con coltellacci e moschetti nella tranquilla vita dei villaggi africani, è molto lontana dalla verità storica. Un sistema di marketing fu mantenuto sul posto per secoli e la sua scorta fu controllata dagli africani. Non svanì neppure con l’abolizione.

Il mercato di schiavi che riforniva gli Emirati Arabi era ancora operante a Djibouti nel 1950 e sino al 1960 la tratta degli schiavi era rigogliosa in Mauritania e in Sudan. Ci sono ancora cronache di traffici di schiavi nel Nord della Nigeria, Ruanda e Niger.”

I musulmani sostengono che il cristiano occidentale spera di controllare l’Africa. Ora, perché a noi africani non deve piacere “la cultura della Coca-Cola” dell’Occidente, ma dobbiamo essere obbligati a vestirci con gli abiti arabi del VII secolo da quando l’Islam ha preso piede? Cosa c’è che non va nei miei bei abiti africani? E perché i musulmani neri dell’Africa devono pregare rivolti verso una città saudità: la Mecca? Perché non rivolti verso una città locale come Nairobi o Lusaka etc. Chi è che domina? Io pensavo che Dio fosse ovunque e che colui che prega dovesse rivolgersi verso di Lui che vive nel cielo sopra la terra. Ricorda, Dio, la verità, ha detto una volta: “Voi siete di quaggiù, Io sono di lassù.”

Inoltre perché ci è richiesto di leggere la parola di Dio e di parlargli solo in arabo? Dio non è forse capace di capire il mio dialetto africano? Grazie a Dio oggi la Sacra Bibbia è tradotta in più di 2000 lingue parlate nel mondo, perché io so che il mio Dio è capace di parlare ogni lingua. Questo non è un problema per Lui.

CONCLUSIONE

La lettera è stata scritta per amore, amore per la verità anche quando ferisce. La Bibbia ci dice che noi africani abbiamo una grandissima eredità che a volte nella storia ci è stata rubata. Dio è il nostro Creatore e crede in noi. Dopo tutto scelse Adamo ed Eva per essere i primi genitori degli africani.

Dio ha anche usato l’Africa per altri scopi, come permettere all’Egitto di essere un rifugio per gli ebrei al tempo di Giuseppe (Genesi 39-50).

L’Etiopia, altro stato africano, ha posseduto la Bibbia nella sua propria lingua per molti secoli, anche prima che l’Islam nascesse.

Ci è detto a proposito del Regno dei cieli futuro: “Molte nazioni sono qui,” inclusi gli africani (Apocalisse 21:24).

Diversamente dal Dio del Corano Dio non ordinò mai ad alcun cristiano di uccidere per Lui o di prendere “i prigionieri che la tua mano destra possiede”. Ad ognuno è stata data la possibilità di sceglierLo o rifiutarLo. Dio ci ha dato il libero arbitrio, non siamo sottomessi a Lui come nell'islam!!

Attraverso tutta la Bibbia troviamo che Dio salva tutti coloro che credono nel Suo nome . Questo include l’Etiopia di Geremia 38-40 e l’Etiopia e oggi include me e te.

Ora che io ho posto le mie domande, tu poni le tue. Chi mi ha aiutato maggiormente come africano: l’Islam o il Cristianesimo? Devi scegliere saggiamente perché la tua vita dipende da questo.

Pokémon headcanon time:

Amongst Latios and Latias herds, the latter outnumber the former.

There's a reason:

Latias are the ones who hang back to deter any potential predators, whilst the Latios can Take the Kids and Run.

It's also why they have such distinctive colours and a particular stat spread:

Latias are bright red to divert the attention of anything trying to prey on them, whilst Latios are blue to better blend in with the sky.

Likewise, Latias have better defensive stats so they can overwhelm anything trying to eat/attack the herd through attrition and sheer numbers. Latios are more frail but hit harder because they're the Absolute Last Resort, should the females of the herd be unable to deter their attacker(s).
