8. how do they communicate with each other? are there any reoccurring phrases or gestures unique to their relationship?

kikou: kou leads and kiku follows. kou is the yapper and kiku is the enraptured listener <3 esp at the beginning of their relationship kou always dropped him little lines he could grab to keep the conversation going. kou’s skill is that he can spin anything you throw at him into a colorful tapestry, so every conversation feels rich and well lived in, it's impossible to make small talk with him. being with kou also teaches kiku how to describe things without visual cues. it's a nice exercise. so if the view is nice from the train window, he won't say 'the sky is so blue and clear', but something like 'the sky is like a fresh batch of laundry', and kou will imagine the clean scent of sheets, light and airy after a new wash, a new day, and get the same sentiment.

they sparingly text, since kou has the text-to-speech feature set to the super fast speed, and he doesn't like conversing with people like that ('i can't hear You through it'), so they mostly do either video calls or voice messages. they will text if it's for trivial matters (do you need anything from the store, have you reached home, etc) but that's about it.

16. is one of them keeping secrets from the other? why? how would they act if the secret was revealed?

kou isn't the type to keep secrets. if there's something he needs to say he'll say it ... he will adjust his method of communication based on the situation of course, whether to ease into it gently or say it upfront, but he doesn't keep secrets. kiku on the other hand....he doesn't keep secrets per se, but he is a terrible, conflict-avoidant communicator, so he might....delay in saying certain things (he's working on it, it's hard shaking off your upbringing). the only actual secrets they would keep are probably certain carnal preferences, which they would eventually reveal to each other....with a mutual mixture of flustered teasing and enthusiasm.

naomi and noriko:

10. what is one major difference between them?

naomi has an almost pathological obsession with saving face while noriko just barely remembers to cling to the notion. for naomi this of course stemmed from her upper class upbringing rife with competition and false pleasantries where appearances were of the utmost importance, your clothes your house your grades your vacations, and to slip up was tacky and uncouth. can't let anyone see anything other than cool, level-headedness. she will actively avoid situations she knows are not her forte, and every conversation is like a chess game, conceding and withholding information according to the front she wants to maintain. since her input is vastly larger than her output, she is rather forgettable as a person.

noriko had quite a lax upbringing on the other hand, hers was quite a receptive, open-minded family, not so 'stuffy', owing to many relatives overseas who would come to visit and who they would visit; she's been exposed to other cultures and ways of life. she's resourceful and accommodating, which explains her immediate friendship with kou when they were kids. she didn't see his blindness as something to poke and prod at, something strange, it was just a part of him, something to fit into their games. noriko’s like an elastic band (flexible, multipurpose) while naomi’s a switchblade (excels in its limited range of motion).

20. what is their best memory together?

aww okay so i can't think of a 'best' memory but one they're fond of is the movie nights they have with kou. once a month they'll each choose a movie and watch them in a marathon at kou’s apartment. noriko puts on western classics from the early 2000s in the original language so they can practice their english, much to kou’s chagrin (“can you spell gabbana?”). they don't really spend that much time together, just the two of them, kou is always with them (kiku doesn't think he's good enough company for noriko, he feels he's too boring hgjsgfh so he always tries to rope kou into it to even out the playing field), but i think eventually they do have a life changing field trip atla style.

You should know better by now than to attempt to talk to your mother about things. This happens every single time, you swear. You have a great day, you call her to tell her about it, and she turns things around so that she’s the centre of attention. 

And yet, you do it every time. You fall for it. Every time. 

You suppose maybe it’s just hope that she might one day turn it around and actually hear what you have to say. But hope is just that. Hope. Ah well, perhaps one day, hey? 

But whenever this sort of thing happens, there’s one person you turn to for comfort who is always more than happy to take you under their wing. Crowley. That’s where you found yourself now, huddled in his arms and crying your little heart out.

“You know,” you say halfway through a sniffle. “You’re pretty sweet for a Demon.” 

Crowley grunts, wrapping his arm around you a little tighter.

“Going to pretend you didn’t just say that, Pet,” he replied, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead anyway. “Besides, I dunno why you bother trying with her. She’s always doing her best to upset you.” 

You hum, leaning into his rather bony shoulder and closing your eyes, wiping the snot and tears away with a tissue. 

“I just wanted to tell her about my day. I didn’t want anything from her.” 

Crowley hummed thoughtfully, rubbing his hand over your skin in soft comforting circles. 

“Could always call me- you know, if you wanted. I’m happy to listen. Got ears, may as well use them for something.” 

You lift your head, turning to face him head-on. There’s not a hint of a lie there on his face for you to see. He… he was genuine- he wanted to listen to you talk about your day. You grinned and surged forward to press a bit, whopping kiss on his cheek, to which he groaned and wiped your slobber off. 

“Alright, maybe not then,” he protested, face screwed up in a grimace, though you could tell he was just as amused as you were. 

“Nope,” you said, cupping his cheeks and squishing his face. “Too late. You already said.” 

Crowley grunted again- a soft ‘ngk’ sound, but he always answered when you called.

Your mum did get better at it eventually, and you were grateful that she put the effort in, but you couldn’t deny how happy that voice on the other end made you when Crowley picked up.

Aziraphale’s hands flutter uselessly around Crowley’s shoulders like birds afraid to alight.

For all these millennia, he’s only allowed himself surreptitious, if unsubtle forays in Crowley’s direction; little morsels of visual information, a whole series of fleeting touches. Far too many to count.

The electric, heady brush of their fingertips in the exchange of a briefcase full of miraculously-salvaged books. Aziraphale clasping Crowley’s hand with both of his, losing himself for a moment to the sort of recklessness Crowley inspires in him. Aziraphale’s palm flat against Crowley’s chest there in the pub, for no reason at all except that he simply wanted: to learn how Crowley’s warmth bleeds through layers of cloth, to discern the faint dear heartbeat accelerating under his touch.

The last time he’d felt Crowley’s fists curled in his lapels there had been a wall rough at his back and a snarl in his ears. He’d had eyes only for the red curve of Crowley’s mouth, then.

And now that mouth, Crowley’s mouth, is on his to seismic effect, hard enough to mark Aziraphale indelibly, hot as a conflagration. He never parts his lips, but he doesn’t need to for Aziraphale to be disarmed by the promise of teeth and tongue and taste. Aziraphale can’t possibly hold him like this, can’t settle on one place to touch him, the contours of Crowley sharp and shaking apart with tension against him. It isn’t perfect—in fact it’s artless and ungainly, but it’s Crowley—it’s Crowley—it’s Crowley, crashing into him with forward momentum like a wave breaking against the shore, kissing him with a single-minded stillness, and his point couldn't be clearer: that he would do just this, forever and a day, if it only meant Aziraphale would at last answer in kind.

If it only meant he would stay.

Aziraphale’s hands hover near the top of the coveted slope of that serpentine spine, narrowly evading the treacherous peaks of Crowley’s shoulder blades. Six thousand years of ruinous yearning and prevarication. Six thousand years of perfecting the ideal coy glance, and Crowley crumbles his resolve in an instant.

He had thought it might happen in the rain, perhaps, as Crowley had suggested once. Their arms wound about each other, umbrella forgotten as the sky overhead opened up to cleanse them of all their half-truths. He’d thought Crowley might taste like fine dark chocolate. Like raspberry coulis. But he kisses Aziraphale now with all the iron tang of a paper cut, the same sudden surprise of pain blooming under Aziraphale’s breastbone as he rocks toward Crowley finally, finally, finally—

Too late.

4. Favourite carrier mecha? Do you even LIKE carrier mecha??

So my answer to "do you like [category]", most of the time, will be It Depends; and in this case a lot of what it depends on is if the base can just stand up and become a big fucking robot. And Dekabase Robo is a base that just stands up and becomes a big fucking robot, and looks sick as hell, and has prop interaction with the smaller robos, AND it's the personal mecha of BOSS. I'll fully admit I didn't think this question through and maybe there's other carrier mechas I'm forgetting that I may technically like more, but this one leapt to the front of my mind instantly and I don't think it's getting beaten

10. Skirts on suits, good or bad?

Once again: it depends!! A lot of my favourite suits end up being pinks, and in all of these examples I don't think I'd be quite as into the top row without the skirts and the bottom row with skirts. Magiranger in particular is a great example because that introduced tights for a lot more colour breakup; I honestly think the skirted Magiranger suits are so so so far ahead of the non-skirted ones on the main team it's not even funny.

But it's also very rare we see girls without skirts, so honestly; I think that is my preference! The rarity makes it more valuable, and it's obviously something I'll be asking to see more of when the alternative is essentially the default

hmmm depends on why the darling is frightened tbh are they always afraid or is this started after cerelos took them the first time? i do imagine he'd be pretty upset and even offended, though he won't outwardly show his feelings. he'd probably start ordering the servants to disappear whenever the darling is in sight, be invisible, to further isolate them, to force them either to face their loneliness and/or accept cerelos as their emperor and husband. since humans are in nature social, they'd naturally long for some form of company and possibly some skin to skin contact.

in short, since the coecrced sex doesn't seem to do enough, cerelos would've likely infict some psychological damages on his darling to force them to accept him. he wouldn't be…physically abusive, no, but he will emotionally and mentally cripple his darling without relying on cruel words and uses some amount of gaslighting.

regardless, you will only have him and you will love him. he is, after all, your emperor and husband. why wouldn't you embrace him and his power?

Emotional hurt/comfort my beloved <3 it's what I love the most in both reading and writing fic

Smut! Sorry not sorry :D but it's both a great way to get to know a new ship dynamic, smut is often the first fic I write in a new fandom, and it's nice to write something sensual and sexy <3

Getting together fics! I think it ties in with the h/c thing, the tension/maybe light angst and then relief at the happy ending

Maybe a copout answer but... Just, fanfiction! As a genre, kind of - I'm bad at not usually interested in coming up with big plot points and conflicts and such, but I love writing resolutions and fix-its to the problems that already exist in canon, fanfics are perfect for me <3 I'm on 479 fics now, and that's just the ones I posted(to Ao3), to almost 70 different fandoms, and I'm always having a blast!

My strange little drabble exercises (not just getting to 100 words exactly like normal drabbles, but trying to do sentences or lines of five words, in four parts of five sentences), I wrote a whole bunch of them on Ao3, especially for Katya/Sofia from Goncharov lately :D

Notable mention if we're on the topic of wordcount bullshittery, I also love getting normal longer fics to perfect wordcounts :D also, I wrote a good chunk of the GOmens 666 fics!

Edit: Hayls having re-read your answers after writing mine, I love seeing how different they are! Eg prompts adsfg I do love getting them bc I like to challenge myself and also it can be a good to fight writer's block, but... I don't actually like writing to other people's ideas that much! I do like co-writing situations though, especially the kind where everyone just throws in a paragraph when they feel like it :D less pressure than the type with assigned orders and such, with them I have the same problem as with prompts... also you're definitely here for the darker topics while I'm just there for the fluff (well, h/c, but only because that makes the fluff after the hurt even fluffier!)

To anyone passing by at this inopportune moment, the sound of your screaming would probably (and definitely) constitute a phone call to the police. In any other scenario, you would most certainly hope so. 

Thankfully, it’s very late and there aren’t usually many people about on Greek Street at two in the morning. It was just convenient that Aziraphale lived in the same place he worked. 

But why were you screaming- that was the question. The answer was the television. You were screaming at the television. It was movie night, and it was your turn to pick. It was safe to say Aziraphale was not necessarily a fan of horror movies, but he loved you, and you loved horror movies. So by extension, he loved watching horror movies with you. 

It was just a shame that horror movies terrified you as much as you loved them. 

“Oh dear,” Aziraphale tutted, shuffling closer to you and wrapping his arm around your side. “I really do not understand why you enjoy watching these films, my dear. They’re quite…” he trailed off, eyeing the television warily. “Unpleasant.” 

You chuckled, heart rate still up in the skies. 

“They’re fun, I promise,” you attempted to convince him. Aziraphale did not seem to believe you all that much. “They’re scary but that’s the fun bit.” 

Aziraphale gave you a purse-lipped suspicious look. 

“Is that so?” He asked, sounding disbelieving. “I cannot fathom how that could possibly be entertaining, but if you insist.” 

A jump scare made you flinch, and your arms flew up in front of your face to block yourself from the approaching horror on the screen. 

“Ah,” Aziraphale muttered mostly to himself. “Yes, very entertaining.” 

You were quite certain that Aziraphale spent most of the time watching horror movies comforting you, or thinking about what needed to be done in the shop. But he still sat with you and attempted to enjoy them for your sake. 

It was one of the things you loved about him. One of many.

Okay, so...uh... I didn't mean to join the Ineffable War.

If you want the whole story, I was just chilling when one of my friends took my phone and started messaging half of the people existing on Pinterest (they sent at least 300 texts. I'm still impressed by how they did that, knowing that they barely speak English).

So, one of these people "we" texted was Serpent, they answered, we talked about Satan, followed each other, I started looking at gomens stuff and doing fanart.

And then, one day, shit happened. You probably already know that I don't have enough money to change my BB computer, and that it isn't working very well (remember rise and slat). So I saw a blank picture on my dashboard. Of course I'm interested. I clicked. I clicked again. And again. The picture didn't charge. It was late so I just started clicking like a mad raccoon. Oh, poor me. It was a bloody discord link.

So I just arrived at an unknown server, with a lot of unknown people, all looking at me like I came from the Moon. I took all my charisma resources and said something deep and philosophical like "uhhh....hi (my name is Ronnie, I'm an addict)! I don't have any idea of what I'm doing here but can you adopt me? I have a bit of medical knowledge and I can do ultra realistic mafia themed parties"

They adopted me, and I started collecting data to help with my imposter syndrome. That's how I became an Archivist. And then you arrived. You know what's next.

I'm super glad I met them tho. Chtulhu, that sounded like meeting them was a mistake. It wasn't. But yeah, I'm an accident here lol
