I CANT USE CSS ON ARTFIGHT...............
#I WAS REALLY HOPING TO FIX THE FUCKING. PARAGRAPH WIDTH. SIGH#idk why but it stretches across the ENTIRE page like. it takes up the full width of the browser and it BOTHERS ME. ON ALL THE PAGES#i could try manually putting shift breaks but im worried it might not look so good on mobile. ugghh... auyggghhh.....#im already learning CSS and API so i thought i could put it to good use but. AUGH#this whole time ive had to go into the inspect panel myself and change the padding so i dont have to read the length of the screen#like a fucking typewriter... i would have also loved to use custom fonts and animations......#i did find a guide for BBCode which the site uses on default and it covers basic styling but its not the same. sniffle#you CAN unlock CSS if you donate $25 to the page which seems fair. and if i could do it i would but. i do not have any way of#sending or receiving money online </3 i really need to figure out how to do that so i can set up comms like i said i would last summer#but it intimidates me.... and im already kept on a short leash when it comes to that so it feels like a lot of things could go wrong#i think toyhouse allows CSS or some sort of code...?? i remember seeing some oc pages with custom layouts#if thats the case i'll try fiddling with it but im not very familiar with using toyhouse so thatll take a while#(thanks again for the code sal ^_^ ill put it on my pin once its ready but im trying to learn my way around the site heh ;;)#at least i can use my pixel dividers.. ive been digging around for pixels to use and found some really cute ones#yapping

i can finally go to sleeeeeeeep
#i slept 4 hours and got up and got back to work to get the reds done orz#but I didn't want to take longer than 20 minutes nap or I'd screw myself but#i stayed up til almost bedtime and now i can sleep it off and get back to my Get Shit Done schedule ✌️#tomorrow unless designs happen to sell in the next 10 hours i will be working on#bust edits for the last 3 from remainders cuz I don't think any of those 3 are gonna sell as is#shame tho 3 is my fave but i dare not keep her and so. busts#and then i finish the final sketch set i started in august which i think you're gonna like#and THEN. touching up the last of the tinies customs and if if i have time. one drawing for myself at the end of the day to wind down#tuesday is sketch comms day#and Wednesday i finish the sprite adopt i started too#I'm actually not sure how well that one is gonna sell tho cuz it'll be a sketch reference + cropped sprite edit and therefore more expensive#but it's just to see if that's anything people are into!#like uhhh the reid redraw sprites#OH IF I HAVE TIME i should finish elvens sprite redo this month

In a bit of a rough spot right now (woke up to an email about the test results for our cat and he's got kidney issues that need further expensive testing + dog is on new pricey meds) so if I'm distant or more awkward than usual that's why ✌️no harm or insult meant to anyone
#when my RSI calms down I'll make another comm post but for now doing art will make it super worse#man I hate this happening in my birthday month of all times#but that's on me for not banking on having enough money to take them in last month instead#their annuals are normally in August anyways it's just. $900 for two exams plus all their vaccines plus new dog meds + additional testing-#-bc the cat had lost weight so...#put me under what I can afford for rent and drained all of my savings + what I already had set aside for them#and I really don't know that I can afford the rest for treating the cat#but yeah uh. super tight on money. won't be able to afford to do anything for myself on the 20th. don't know that I can afford glasses#hoping against hope that I get a big scholarship or student loan reimbursement this upcoming semester

What're the Kofi fees?
5% fee on all commissions done thru Ko-fi. There seems to be no mention of this when setting up comms or in your order summary on Ko-fi, it only shows up on paypal. So as an example: the ko-fi fee + regular paypal fee mean that out of the $180 I made on 3 fullbody comms, I lost $20. Sucks but we live & learn. Looking into alternatives rn, I'll let ya'll know if/when I move stuff. In the meantime if you're interesting a comm please go for it, I rather have some money coming in than none <3

Local man has an 8 hour shift 2morrow gn every1
#1 of my coworkers asked me 2 cover for him 2morrow bc he knows im barely getting hours rn#which is rlly sweet so instead of only 12 hours this week i get 20 and it rlly helps bc i need to save up for a computer#im gonna open comms eventually but rn im too drained 2 work on anything. even personal projects#i gotta get a computer and somehow save up 4 a car but christmas and me redoing my room &#stuff made my bank acct take a serious hit. which. is fine ig bc I'm not living alone yet#i still gotta set my 401k or whatever its called up. and do the savings/investing thing#work should b paying me 25 an hour man..all my work these last couple months only totalled to maybe 3k#if i was going 2 college that'd be all gone in like..2 weeks bc a bachelor's 4 game design @ snhu is a lil 1k every 8 weeks#with financial aid apparently bc somehow i make 2 much. anyway#its 2am im rambling and i gotta b up at 10#so gn every1#ily'all#mwah#xoxo#and such#also im excited 4 valentines day bc all the silly pink lovecore stuff is out and i rlly want to b pink & cute this year idk#elliot rambles
