For Wen Ning #as I said in the notes in the last comic: this whole scene is WWX releasing a larger bug to fight the first bug that flew inside the house #and *haha* Ive obtained new techniques to make these comics look nicer! Pencil crayon just does *not* scan well #and the vertical paneling works a lot better for formatting #Dont worry; my comic quality remains very shaky and in flux #The goal was always just to draw and not sweat the small stuff #Yes this is an ariel needs legs reference. I don't have anything ready for the fifteenth”#And then rushed to make these #there are a few things I'd like to change or adjust on some of them (like the colors on kido's) but aside from that I'm pretty happy #seto's was the hardest. first I kept trying to daw a bird for the silhouette window thing #but I kept erasing it because I wasn't happy with it #then I was flicking through my screenshots of his song's video and realized "wait. What if the tv him and little him are sitting on is the #ilhouette? Then I kept the birds but put them in a circular pattern in a way reminiscent of how the scissors and knives(?) were around him #in certain shots (btw. does anyone have ANY idea what the gossip he was getting from that bird in his introduction was?)#The background I wish I had done more with but I was drawing a blank on ideas so... the outside of Mary's house it is #kano's - in contrast - was the easiest.#I was like “his silhouette's a cat. the background will definitely be a reference to his song.”#Honestly the masks were the hardest part because it was a little difficult to get good pics of any other than the red-eyed mask #Also something looks off about him to me but I wasn't about to fight the picture so I didn't fiddle with it too much before inking #maybe his face just translates into my style weirdly #not much to say about Kido. Except I really wish I did the equalizer bars differently and will definitely be changing that if I ever get ar #und to making these digitally. Also #I'd alter the shades of colors I chose for the music staffs but that bugs me a lot less than those fri #cking equalizer bars #did I really just go on a whole ass rant about my decisions in these drawings?#I guess I did. Whoops?

Listen I love "I am no man" as much as the next lady who was once a barefoot girl who ran around with a sword. But it irks me Every Time that she sneaks off to battle because Theoden and Eomer a) genuinely want to keep her from experiencing this Horror and b) maam you are third in line to the throne imagine if all three of you died. Do you have no love of country and land???

after MONTHS (literally a year in my case) of searching and fighting my girlfriend and I finally signed our lease together today!!!! we are both disabled + trans + literally have no income aside from state disability which is $200/month max, so we really need help covering some basic-ass stuff lol

I sincerely appreciate all the help so far, and I'm hoping we will be able to get back on our feet now that we have housing sorted out. we just need to get situated in our new place!

Do you get more “rarer” potions or whatever the higher you get in alchemy levels? Because I stg it wasn’t this hard to get green or yellow when i was ten levels lower >:\

#emma posts #flight rising #I might be imagining it #because I don’t have this problem with muck and slime #but I’m so frustrated #I spent the last two weeks transmuting one star ‘other’ items #and now have eight green sludge and THIRTY TWO ORANGE #I have only started needing more yellow a day or two ago so I haven’t been doing this for a super long time #but I JUST had this problem with green sludge #and the green goo problem is similar but that’s impacted by how much food my lair consumes #I currently have 180 dragons in my lair and a majority of them either eat only or seem to prefer insects #it makes me a lot of treasure and I love pretty dragons. but they sure do eat a LOT of bugs #it usually hits a few weeks after the monthly festival because I haven’t been fighting as much and thus haven’t been getting as much food #from that combat. I just love puzzles and will spend a lot of my fr time doing them #my current best time on a puzzle is eight minutes! and that was on normal difficulty! I’m so proud #but I’m rambling again

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was everything I wanted and more. As an OG fan of Jet Set Radio, and a diehard fan of Future, this was just...beautiful.

Which was really disappointing tbh.#The soundtrack is good but Nakanuma...he just hits SO much differently.#maybe Im looking at it through nostalgic glasses or the ads got to me but his songs not being there until the last few hours of the game?#still the game is fucking awesome and worth the asking price theres so much replayability imo. Its a strong 9/10.

this may not be very coherent bc I have a narsty cold but it’s something I don’t see talked about much— I’ve been thinking about how much I enjoy the fact that Peter Parker/Spider-Man is kind of creepy. Like. I love that he’s got that freaky “teleport when you’re not looking” ability spiders have, the creepy crawling, the fast and unpredictable movements, the eerie stillness, the hanging, the warning that they’re around with entangling traps or even just dissolving cobwebs that let you know they’re in the area. the kind of animalistic, unnatural, disturbing parts of being a spider that makes spiders, and spider-man, so cool

#spider-man #I got reminded abt this last night w that scene in the first Raimi spider-man movie where Peter is hiding #and everytime someone looks at where he was he’s crawled to another location so fucking quickly EXACTLY like how spiders do #when he crawls around super fast or slowly and it kind of evokes the same ‘oh jeez’ feeling when spiders do it #when he’s just hanging in a corner completely stone still and you know he’s getting ready #I’m sure villains and the like get a little freaked when they see his webs around the same way you’d be like ‘oh god that’s a big spider’#when you see a new and big ass spider web in the basement #the way he’s got the ability now to just. crawl in such a creepy way #bc his tendons and such are just. mutated in a way now that he can just contort #I think spiders are cool (I have a slight phobia but I fight hard against it bc spiders are cool af) but they have the occupational hazard #of having very fast bug movements that just set off alarm bells in the human brain bc evolution #and I love that Peter has that now. sometimes it’s like it’s just the costume that gives him the spider like stuff #but he’s just Like that. it’s easy to feel like he’s just a normal human guy under there but he’s no longer that at least physically #that’s one of the reasons I absolutely love it when Peter does spider stuff in normal human clothes. it’s like a reminder

oh my god i'm KICKING myself bc it somehow never occurred to me to give him a sewaddle/leavanny OTL he wasnt always a tailor so i didnt consider it when i was originally building his teams but im kicking myself for not including it in that sewing room piece.. i was thinking less about his actual teams when drawing that (bc half of his 'main' team is fakemon) and more just thinking about getting bug rep from as many gens as possible (sorry to iv and vii for not making it 💔 tho kricketot made it in as a desk sticker at least) but leavanny was the mvp of my original white team so it's Very dear to me and youre right that it's Perfect for him !!

but to go back to the first question !!! yes his ace is a bug-type eevee ! i realised wayyy late that the piece maybe made it look like it'd be a spider-vee since it's an arachnid-heavy drawing but it's a moth called papilleon !! ^__^ it's one of the first fakemon i designed for our fan region. my beloved bug baby
