میں کس کے ہاتھ پہ اپنا لہو تلاش کروں

’’ مجھے بھی پتا ہے اور تم بھی جانتے ہو کہ مجھے قتل کر دیا جائے گا۔ تم اس واقعہ کی مذمت کرو گے، تحقیقات کا اعلان کرو گے مگر ہم دونوں جانتے ہیں کہ اس کا نتیجہ کچھ نہیں نکلے گا کہ یہ قتل تمہاری ناک کے نیچے ہی ہو گا۔ بس مجھے فخر ہے کہ میں نے سچ کے راستے کو نہیں چھوڑا۔��‘ یہ طاقتور تحریر آج سے کئی سال پہلے جنوری 2009 میں سری لنکا کے ایک صحافی LASANTA WICKRAMATUNGA نے اخبار‘دی سنڈے لیڈر، میں اپنے قتل سے دو دن پہلے تحریر کی۔ بس وہ یہ لکھ کر دفتر سے باہر نکلا تو کچھ فاصلے پر قتل کر دیا گیا۔ اس کی یہ تحریر میں نے اکثر صحافیوں کے قتل یا حملوں کے وقت کے لیے محفوظ کی ہوئی ہے۔ اس نے اپنے اداریہ میں اس وقت کے صدر کو جن سے اس کے طالبعلمی کے زمانے سے روابط تھے مخاطب کرتے ہوئے نہ صرف وہ پرانی باتیں یاد دلائیں جن کے لیے ان دونوں نے ساتھ جدوجہد کی بلکہ یہ بھی کہہ ڈالا،’’ میں تو آج بھی وہیں کھڑا ہوں البتہ تم آج اس مسند پر بیٹھ کر وہ بھول گئے ہو جس کے خلاف ہم دونوں نے ایک زمانے میں مل کر آواز اٹھائی تھی‘‘۔ 

مجھے ایک بار انٹرنیشنل فیڈریشن آف جرنلسٹس کی طرف سے سری لنکا جانے کا اتفاق ہوا جہاں وہ صحافیوں کو درپیش خطرات پر تحقیق کر رہے تھے۔ یہ غالباً 2009-10 کی بات ہے وہاں کے حالات بہت خراب تھے۔ بہت سے صحافی ہمارے سامنے آکر بات نہیں کرنا چاہتے تھے۔ کئی نے نامعلوم مقامات سے فون پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ انہیں کس قسم کے خطرات کا سامنا ہے۔ کچھ ملک چھوڑ کر جا چکے تھے۔ سینئر صحافی اور اینکر پرسن ارشد شریف کے کینیا کے شہر نیروبی میں قتل کی خبر آئی تو میری طرح بہت سے صحافیوں کے لیے یہ خبر نہ صرف شدید صدمہ کا باعث تھی بلکہ ناقابل یقین تھی۔ واقعہ کو مختلف رنگ دینے کی کوشش کی جارہی ہے۔ اب حقیقت کیا ہےاس کا تو خیر پتا چل ہی جائے گا ۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ ایک صحافی کو ملک کیوں چھوڑ کر جانا پڑا؟ اس کی تحریر یا خیالات سے اختلاف ہو سکتا ہے مگر کیا کسی کو اس کے خیالات اور نظریات پر قتل کرنا جائز ہے۔ ہم صحافی تو بس اتنا جانتے ہیں کہ ہاتھوں میں قلم رکھنا یا ہاتھ قلم رکھنا۔

ارشد نہ پہلا صحافی ہے جو شہید ہوا نہ آخری کیونکہ یہ تو شعبہ ہی خطرات کی طرف لے جاتا ہے۔ ایک صحافی کا قتل دوسرے صحافی کے لیے پیغام ہوتا ہے اور پھر ہوتا بھی یوں ہے کہ بات ایک قتل پر آکر نہیں رکتی، ورنہ پاکستان دنیا کے تین سب سے خطرناک ممالک کی فہرست میں شامل نہ ہوتا جہاں صحافت خطرات سے خالی نہیں جب کہ انتہائی مشکل ہے مگر مجھے نہیں یاد پڑتا کہ اس سے پہلے کبھی کسی پاکستانی صحافی کا قتل ملک سے باہر ہوا ہو۔ ویسے تو پچھلے چند سال سے انسانی حقوق کے کچھ لوگوں کے حوالے سے یا باہر پناہ لینے والے افراد کے حوالے سے خبریں آئیں ان کے نا معلوم افراد کے ہاتھوں قتل یا پراسرار موت کی، مگر ارشد غالباً پہلا صحافی ہے جو اپنے کام کی وجہ سے ملک سے باہر گیا اور شہید کر دیا گیا۔ ہمارا ریکارڈ اس حوالے سے بھی انتہائی خراب ہے جہاں نہ قاتل پکڑے جاتے ہیں نہ ان کو سزا ہوتی ہے۔ اکثر مقدمات تو ٹرائل کورٹ تک پہنچ ہی نہیں پاتے۔ تحقیقاتی کمیشن بن بھی جائے تو کیا۔ 

میں نے اس شہر میں اپنے کئی صحافیوں کے قتل کے واقعات کی فائل بند ہوتے دیکھی ہے۔ 1989 سے لے کر2022 تک 130 سے زائد صحافیوں کا قتل کراچی تا خیبر ہوا مگر تین سے چار کیسوں کے علاوہ نہ کوئی پکڑا گیا نہ ٹرائل ہوا۔ مجھے آج بھی کاوش اخبار کے منیر سانگی جسے کئی سال پہلے لاڑکانہ میں با اثر افراد نے قتل کر دیا تھا کی بیوہ کی بے بسی یاد ہے جب وہ سپریم کورٹ کے باہر کئی سال کی جدوجہد اور انصاف نہ ملنے پر پورے کیس کی فائلیں جلانے پہنچ گئی تھی۔ میری درخواست پر اس نے یہ کام نہیں کیا مگر میں کر بھی کیا سکتا تھا اس وقت کے چیف جسٹس جناب ثاقب نثار سے درخواست کے سوا، مگر اسے انصاف نہ ملنا تھا نہ ملا۔ ہمارے ایک ساتھی حیات اللہ کی ہاتھ بندھی لاش اس کے اغوا کے پانچ ماہ بعد 2005 میں ملی تو کیا ہوا۔ پشاور ہائی کورٹ کے ایک جج صاحب کی سربراہی میں تحقیقاتی کمیشن بنا۔ 

اس کی بیوہ نے جرأت کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے کمیشن کے سامنے بیان دیا اور ان لوگوں کے بارے میں بتایا جواس کو اٹھا کر لے گئے تھے۔ کچھ عرصہ بعد خبر آئی کہ وہ بھی مار دی گئی۔ میں نے دو وزرائے داخلہ رحمان ملک مرحوم اور چوہدری نثار علی خان سے ان کے ادوار میں کئی بار ذاتی طور پر ملاقات کر کے درخواست کی کہ کمیشن کی رپورٹ اگر منظر عام پر نہیں لاسکتے تو کم ازکم شیئر تو کریں مگر وہ فائل نہ مل سکی۔ صحافی سلیم شہزاد کے ساتھ بھی کچھ ایسا ہی ہوا۔ ایک نجی چینل پر پروگرام کرنے گیا تھا واپس نہیں آیا۔ یہ واقعہ اسلام آباد کے قریب پیش آیا۔ صبح سویرے اس کی بیوہ نے مجھے فون کر کے معلوم کرنے کی کوشش کی کہ مجھ سے تو کوئی رابطہ نہیں ہوا۔ اس پر بھی ایک عدالتی کمیشن بنا اس نے ایک مفصل رپورٹ بھی تیار کی اور ٹھوس تجاویز بھی دیں مگر بات اس سے آگے نہیں گئی۔ ایسے ان گنت واقعات ہیں کس کس کا ذکر کروں مگر صحافت کا سفر جاری رکھنا ہے۔ ناظم جوکھیو مارا گیا مگر قاتل با اثر تھے سیاسی سرپرستی میں بچ گئے بیوہ کو انصاف کیا ملتا دبائو میں ایک غریب کہاں تک لڑ سکتا ہے۔

ہر دور حکومت میں ہی صحافی اغوا بھی ہوئے، اٹھائے بھی گئے دھمکیاں بھی ملیںاور گمشدہ ہوئے پھر کچھ قتل بھی ہوئے سب کو ہی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ یہ نامعلوم کون ہیں پھر بھی حکمران اپنی حکومت بچانے کی خاطر یا تو بعض روایتی جملے ادا کرتے ہیں یا خود بھی حصہ دار نکلتے ہیں۔ پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی حکومت میں محترمہ شیریں مزاری کی کاوشوں سے ایک جرنلسٹ پروٹیکشن بل منظور ہوا تھا۔ ایسا ہی سندھ اسمبلی نے بھی قانون بنایا ہے۔ اب اسلام آباد کمیشن کے سامنے ارشد شریف کا کیس ایک ٹیسٹ کیس ہے جبکہ سندھ کمیشن کے قیام کا فیصلہ بھی فوری اعلان کا منتظر ہے۔ اتنے برسوں میں صحافیوں کے بہت جنازے اٹھا لیے ، حکومتوں اور ریاست کے وعدے اور کمیشن بھی دیکھ لیے۔ انصاف کا ترازو بھی دیکھ لیا، اب صرف اتنا کہنا ہے؎

Spanish Pit Crew stud turned drag queen Megui Yeillow has made herstory in the Drag Race franchise.

This week, Drag Race España announced the 12 fierce queens vying for the title of Spain’s Next Drag Superstar in the fourth season.

Megui Yeillow is the first Pit Crew member to join the show as a contestant in the competition.

The 32-year-old hottie appeared on the first three seasons of Drag Race España, as well as the inaugural season of España All Stars.

Drag Race España season four starts this month

Drag Race España season four will again be hosted by queen Supremme de Luxe. Ana Locking, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo are back as regular panellists.
