Lately, I feel like most of the people reading my blog or interacting with me are just trolls, haters or creepers. So hm… yeah, I’m not sure if I want to keep going the same way I did before. It sucks, because this used to be a fun place and I guess there’s no room for that anymore.

The sad thing is that releasing papped photos to introduce a relationship fly in the face of Louis’ image of “authenticity,” if you know what I mean? It’s as fake as every other PR relationship, and it signals that Louis doesn’t even believe in his own authenticity, to some extent. It detracts from the message of his music and his own brand. It’s unfortunate.

Hi there! I know you’re super busy and of course if you don’t have time to answer this, that’s completely understandable. I read an article on Vice about the overlapping nature of conspiracy theories (link: https://www.vice.com/en/article/93ky48/americas-most-influential-conspiracy-theorists-are-going-all-in-on-transphobia ) and it was horrifying. I wonder if this “conspiracy singularity” (to use the author’s words) is also present in “fandom” based conspiracy theories. Are Larries as likely to believe J2 or Charmie is true even if they are not devoting their obsessive energy to “proving” it?

I don't worry so much about the conspiracy singularity in fandom as I do IRL. Not because it doesn't exist, but I don't think it exists to near the same extent. In right-wing politics, they converge to capture audience and eyeballs and grift money. In fandom, it's typically just influence.

Do I think Larry's Doll Lady could end up an influential fandom CT elsewhere? Maybe, but she'd have to care about another fandom to that extent, and I do think she's been sufficiently snakebit by her own involvement in larry to hesitate in going that deep again.

There are larries who have left larry still believing in it but no longer having fun who've joined other fandoms and carry on their CT mindset. larryalbum is doing that presently with kpop, and bromo (iirc) was doing the same with richard madden.
