If either one had obtained a super injunction (at vast expense) it would only be valid in the UK. Photos could still be published in the US and all other territories.

However, users of social media can often circumvent the super injunction - including the details of the alleged infidelity or impropriety - because they are published online on servers outside England and Wales. Also, some foreign media publications, especially in the United States, have been publishing the contents of the super injunctions as they are beyond the reach of English and Welsh judges.

Do you believe that there's a super injunction banning the press from posting photos of Louis & Harry together, or do they just stay in all the time when they're together? Harry is photographed so much by fans and paps and Louis is never with him. I'd have expected him to be with H in Oxfordshire when his car broke down for instance, but he wasn't.

In a word: No, I don't think there's a superinjunction. Because that would (as you said) only apply to the press, not fans or the general public. And also it would only apply in England because superinjunctions don't exist in the US.

I do work in the UK media and yes, everyone has heard the Larry rumours but it's treated as an enormous joke. Nobody thinks it's real. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Pinch of salt and all that since i can't verify your claims. I also didn't say that people believed it, just that they've heard about it. Larry sounds far fetched if you don’t look into it. We know there's superinjunctions on pics of them together so some people must know.

A lot of Larries think that there is a super injunction banning photographs of H & L from being shared but I find that unlikely given that only two super injunctions have been granted since 2010 and both were related to corporate disputes. Super injs also can't stop people sharing pics on social media.

If a gay celebrity was going to try and use legal proceedings to protect themselves there wouldn't be need for a superinjunction - a privacy based injunction would be enough. I do think there's some sloppiness in how the terms are used - for example I've heard people talk about rumours of a superinjunction around a married couple who had a threesome - and suggestions that it was Elton John and his husband. If it existed it probably wasn't a superinjunction, but just a normal injunction.

But as for the particulars I didn't know anyone did believe that - I haven't seen it discussed very much.

Omg 😅 a super injunction requires a lot of money and a judge to sign off on the terms. Who paid for this lawyer? What did they say to the judge we are illegally closeting people please help? It’s also usually only applied to media outlets banning any publication about x thing. It wouldn’t stop some fan taking a pic of them on these apparent numerous brunch dates Larrie receipts say they go on. Nonsense 😭

Why would Dan wants to cover larry stylinson if he could expose it and get money with it?? Larries just don't make any sense, Dan is a rat and a lot of people don't like him, there's no reason for him to agree with this if it's not gonna bring any beneficts to him and for the first time i think he was really bothered with Larries by the way he replied, what he liked and how he asked about Louis about it.

Yet Dan remains staunchly loyal to Simon because evil minions stick together even when they're not profiting.It's the same reason why briana hasn't gone to tabloids to sell her story even though ostensibly she was in this for a quick money and fame grab. She could have written three books by now, either about how she had a popstar's baby or how she was recruited to fake it. She hasn't. Why?
