girl help, the swifties are attacking Neil Tennant as ‘misogynistic’ because he (a former music journalist) said that her biggest hits didn’t have a wide vocal range but he doesn’t dislike it
Trite posting aside, Swifties need to stop seeing every sentence uttered that isn’t blind devotion as ‘misogynistic’. You all have got to stop crying wolf. We have rampant problems of misogyny in music that need addressing, and turning the focus of ‘sexism in music’ to ‘Neil Tennant, pop star, says pop music could have more vocal range’ is the worst use of our time.
Earlier this week, Karla Chubb, singer in a Dublin band called Sprints complained that she was groped in the chest by a fan at the band’s own gig in Belfast. She said, I should be able to come to the barrier of my own show and not get sexually assaulted. Many, many women in the British and Irish music scenes reached out to her and told her they’d had similar experiences. A depressingly large amount of women.
At the same time, there has been a survey going around about sexism in music, held by a committee formed submitting a report to the British Parliament. Mainstays of the British music scene gave evidence. Esteemed DJ and BBC Radio 2 presenter Annie Mac said that a culture of sexism, covering it up and even normalising it is rampant: women get harassed by powerful people in music and then have to sit next to them like nothing has happened at industry events and award shows. The overwhelming evidence suggests we need change in the music industry, and we need laws.
Karla’s case files a report in Belfast, even Conservative MPs in the city urge the government to do something. The committee submits its evidence. The day after Karla’s story breaks in the British press, the Tory government rejects the proposals submitted by the committee.
But sure, let’s give all the airtime to discussing whether Neil Tennant liking a Taylor Swift song is misogyny or not.
PS: for anyone wondering, Sprints are a top 20 band in the UK and Ireland, their debut album has been called one of the best of 2024. They are not unknown. If people at their level are not safe, what do you reckon happens to artists who can’t rally as much support through a social media post?

NSB (Straud Legacy) Gen 9 Ep 57: Winterfest Moments
The Story of a Family
---------------------------------------------
The revival of his relationship with Noemi loomed large on Luigi’s heart and mind, but when Winterfest rolled around, he was excited to show all the special Sims in his life just how much they meant to him.
He started with his smallest friend – his beloved feline companion. That morning Luigi began the day by giving Chubbs an extended leisurely playtime chasing around their favorite laser toy. The deep purr rumbling from his cat’s chest told him that his gift had been appreciated!
The next friend he ran into was Bonnie, who was just getting ready to head out to her first class of the day. Knowing she planned to find a place with Leroy after she graduated that semester Luigi had bought her a collection of spring seeds to start her own little garden. She loved it, promising to invite him over to sample the fruits of her labor as soon as she had something to show for it.
Tumblr media
---------------------------------------------
Next Luigi headed outside to put his gifts to his cousins in the mailbox and was excited to find a package from Great-Grandpa Candor waiting for him!
He took it back up to his room, opening it to reveal a framed poster with an inspirational quote about working hard. Luigi immediately found a space for it on the wall and texted his grandfather a thank you before spinning into his winter clothes and heading off to campus.
Tumblr media
---------------------------------------------
He found Noemi in The Commons, working in one of her club’s upstairs labs on parts for the upcoming util-bot contest.
When she unboxed that season’s bestselling romance novel and a few not safe for school “toys”, she knew that not telling him about her pregnancy scare had been the right call. The test had been negative, so really there was nothing to say. Besides, she’d gone too long without his joyful adventurousness in the bedroom, and she didn’t want to spook him with worries about premature parenthood.
Noemi laughed when he said he’d bought two copies of the book, and suggested they could start a “book club”. Snuggling up close she told him seriously that she’d like that very much. She had a small box of protection wrapped up all pretty under the tree at her place for him and was really looking forward to rediscovering that aspect of their relationship.
Tumblr media
---------------------------------------------
During the long break between his last class and practice Luigi headed back home to Brindleton Bay. As was tradition for them, Peachy was whipping up a hearty grand breakfast for their Winterfest dinner. Luigi happily pitched in to make some special holiday cocktails.
Even with a rare misstep by the gourmet chef resulting in the need for a few more eggs and a change of clothes they finished with plenty of time to catch up before Scott and his girlfriend Bria arrived to join them. Luigi found it much easier to celebrate with the couple now that he had his own girl.
He didn’t mention Noemi to his family since they hadn’t yet talked about “going public”, but he was sure he’d be able to do so soon.
Tumblr media
---------------------------------------------
After dinner a chagrined Peachy asked his boy for a little “IT help”.
He’d never been the most tech savvy sim and elderhood had only made it harder to remember “all those darn passwords”.
Luigi laughed, replying that it was the least he could do as repayment for “all those amazing meals.”, dutifully sitting down at the rec room computer to straighten everything out for his father before they joined everyone in the living room to exchange presents.
Tumblr media
---------------------------------------------
Before Luigi headed back to school and Scott went off to see Bria’s folks, Peachy and Valentina pulled their respective boys aside.
They’d already secured Aubrie and Kian’s agreement to be flower pal and ring bearer respectively at their wedding in Tartosa, scheduled after the New Year, and they hoped Luigi and Scott would stand up as their Sims of Honor.
Both boys were happy to agree, glad that their parents had worked out the “family issues” and finally been able to set a date. It had been a wonderful Winterfest so far and Luigi still had one final bit of holiday cheer to spread that evening at practice.

Hellooo theree, so can i request something? Maybe a enemies to lover's thing with Bokuto where they are enemies in their childhood and then they meet each other again at highschool. But why they became enemies is actually because Bokuto like to tease her because of her chubbs, even tho they we're friends before. Idk if that make sense 😭, You can decide the ending if you're feeling like making this request but maybe end it with some fluff? 🥺. Oh and you're writings are ✨AMAZING✨, They always make my day ten times better!!! LOVE YA 😫💕💕
Of course! Sorry it took so long but here you go <3
Bokuto x Chubby fem!reader
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Tumblr media
You moved to Japan when you were a little kid. You didn't really care because making friends with others was kinda easy. Everyone was fascinated with the fact that you came from another country. You were happy until one of your friends decided to turn you guy's relationship sour.
You and Bokuto were tied to the hip when you two were little kids, but over time he became so mean. At first his jokes seemed harmless , but they became very hurtful after. Something you didn't like them is that they were all related to your chub. It wasn't really something that you could control, but he didn't care.
At some point you moved schools because of it. He walked into class one day asking where you were and your friends gave him a mean look.
"She moved. BECAUSE OF YOU BOKUTO," one of your friends shouted at him. Your other friends were still giving him a mean look because they all really loved having you around, regardless of how you looked.
Bokuto's face went blank. Maybe when you told him to stop you actually meant it. He's honestly regretting what he did.
Many years pass by and you're in your third year of high school. Unfortunately, you had to moved to a new high school but you were fine with it.
You walk into the school and try and find your way around. You were getting to your next class until you bumped into a boy with grey hair with white frosted tips.
“Oh I’m so-, Y/N !?”
You immediately recognized that voice legit sprinted to your next class. Bokuto was running after you causing a scene in the hallway.
“Y/N WAIT UP,” he shouted.
The bell rang and you walked into the classroom then over to your seat ignoring the fact that you were chased by a 6′1 Bokuto Kotaro a couple of minutes ago.
You were on high alert for the rest of semester. Over time you did make friends and you told them your situation. They now are your protection squad, they are always 99% sure that you will not run into Bokuto. But you see, they only said 99% and so that 1% happened to you today.
It was lunch and you were going to the bathroom before getting your lunch from your bag. You go and wash your hands and dry them. You after walk out of the bathroom thinking your safe, but you actually weren’t.
“Y/N! THERE YOU ARE,” Bokuto said running up to you.
Before you even thought of running away he’s already got you pinned onto the wall, nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.
“Now, why have you been running away from me? I just wanna talk.”
“Well, I DON’T,’ you said pushing him off of you.
“Y/n, if this is about the thing that happened when we were kids I’m so sorry. I knew I shouldn’t have done that and I didn’t know better. I just really liked you and didn’t know what to do. And I still do now so please, just listen,” he said grabbing your wrist.
“He sounded like he was telling the truth, did he really like me,” you were questioning in your brain.
“Fine Bokuto, I guess I accept your apology,” you said rolling your eyes.
“Ok ok, let’s restart. Hi, I’m Bokuto,” he said reaching his hand out to shake yours.
“I’m y/n,” you said shaking his hand.
Over time you guys became amazing friends and at some point had feelings for each other (again). Now you two are dating and he’s so happy about it. Everytime someone asks who his girlfriend is he’ll point at you and say “This beautiful, smart, sexy, amazing person right here is my godly girlfriend!” He loves showing pda all the time. He’ll kiss you, put his large hand around your wide hip, and put his hands around your thick waist. He also loves showing your off on his social medias too! Trust me,most of his insta feed is you. He loves the picture he posted two days ago, it was a mirror selfie you took in the shared bedroom you two have in you guy’s apartment before you guys were going out to a special event. Both of you were dressed up, you in a long navy blue, silk dress no sleeves and him in a suit that matched your dress. His phone was in your hand and his hands were around your hips. The amount of comments that picture got  about you two being the ideal couple was crazy! Turns out even other people find you two cute together too.
Fast forward to the future, he loved you so much that he proposed to you when you two were four years into the relationship and now you guys are gonna get married soon.

The Enforcer's Gun
Warnings: Smut, mafia AU, Dom/sub, possessive alpha male, gun play, exhibitionism, alcohol consumption (I don't advise copying this part. I've done it and it's a great recipe for a hangover from hell), size kink, thigh riding, object insertion
You'd normally be thriving right now. You had your hair done, a dress that fit well and looks hot as fuck, and honestly you'd spent most of the night getting compliments from random strangers. For all intents and purposes, you were having a good night. Except the one man you wanted to notice how good you looked wasn't paying attention to you.
He was working.
While you could appreciate the fact that he had work to do, you hated how at times like this he could just ignore you. If you'd ever told him that he'd have smirked and informed you that he spoiled you. Which was true, but that knowledge did nothing as you stood at the bar and watched him talking to the owner of the nightclub you were in.
'Contract Negotiations' is what he had called it, but he wasn't exactly in the negotiations business. You flinched as Jordie grabbed the guy by the shoulder and held him fast while Jamie hit him hard in the stomach. You'd learned to find this side of him masculine and entirely too sexy, and you felt the tell-tale slick pool in your panties.
"There you are, you're too good at giving me the slip," Tyler laughed as he saddled up next to you. Normally you'd have Jessi here with you, but she'd just had a baby, so it was you and Tyler. You could've spent time with one of the other girls that'd come, but you didn't exactly like them all.
"That's because you're too busy checking out the sorority girls that just walked it," you quipped. "Why won't this bartender come take my order?" You grumbled as the bartender walked past you yet again.
"He probably saw you walk in with Chubbs," Tyler laughed, signaling the bartender.
"Don't let him hear you call him that in public," you grinned. "He may shoot you."
"Round of fireball shots," Tyler said when the bartender walked over finally. You have him a pointed look and he rolled his eyes, "And a Mai Tai for the lady."
"Plantation rum!" You called to the bartender's back. You rolled your eyes as Tyler laughed at your pout.
"Not everyone is gonna cater to you like Jamie does doll, just the facts," he winked then.
"He's not even catering to me," you grumbled, eyes drifting over to where Jamie was crouched over a bleeding man. Apparently negotiations weren't going well. Or maybe they were, you had no idea. "Why'd he bring me again?"
"You've been asking to come for months," Tyler reminded you.
"And you're baby sitting me because..." You asked.
"Apparently I only do 'pretty things' and this isn't a pretty job. So I got girlfriend duty," he smirked looking down at you.
"Why Mr. Seguin," you gasped in mock outrage. "If I didn't know any better I'd think you were flirting."
"Nah, I like my balls where they are," Tyler shrugged. "You picked a jealous one." Just then the bartender lined up the shots in front of the two of you and set your Mai Tai down before scurrying away.
You rolled your eyes, as Tyler handed you a shot. You clinked them together before slamming back three in a row each. It was a ritual you'd developed when Tyler was on baby sitting duty, and you actually enjoyed the cinnamon burn. You tasted your drink, rolling your eyes as you sipped the tinny taste associated with Bacardi, before grabbing the final shot in front of you and dumping it into the tiki drink.
"Really?" Tyler asked with a raised eyebrow.
You shrugged, "I hate Bacardi, you know that."
Tyler just laughed as he threw back his final shot, "Come on I know you wanna dance."
You let Tyler lead you onto the dance floor, one hand securing your drink firmly. You danced with him for a while, forgetting your annoyance at Jamie for working temporarily. You were laughing and having fun, as Tyler would spin you around and sing along with you. It was completely not sexy, but it was fun and comfortable. Tyler was Jamie's best friend, and you felt almost as safe with him as you did your boyfriend. You'd grown to see him like a playful older brother who would tease you and goof around, but the second someone touched you he's fuck them up.
A few songs in though and he leaned into your ear, "I'm going to hit the head. Stay here." You nodded in acknowledgement as he walked away.
In a place like this it wasn't long before the vultures descended, and a decent looking guy moved in to try and dance with you. "Just waiting for my boyfriend," you'd explained.
"It's okay, I am too," he laughed.
You smiled then and danced a little with him then, soon another guy showed up and your partner left. Tyler still hadn't shown up so you decided to go to the ladies room. As you walked out after washing your hands you held the door open with your foot so you could throw your towel away, not paying attention to your surroundings you were startled when rough hands grab you and pressed you against the brick walk across from the bathroom.
You were about to scream when you recognized the bearded face looming over you, "Jamie?" You questioned. "You scared me."
"Did I?" He mumbled as he hiked your skirt up and pushed into your body as a brought a thick thigh between your legs. The immediate pressure made you gasp in delight, as his lips attacked your neck.
"I don't like watching you dance with other men," he growled as you pushed down onto his thigh harder, dragging your soaked pussy along the dark fabric of his pants. Craving the friction and already desperate for him.
"I-I'm...." You were losing what your wanted to say as he again pressed rough kissed over you'd neck, working down into the cleavage of your dress. You moaned softly at the feel, and bucked into his body. His hands on your hubs suddenly stilled you.
"You're going to cum on my thigh little girl," he said darkly. "But first I think I need to remind you who I am."
Suddenly you felt cold metal touch your inner thigh, as his other hand ripped your flimsy panties from your core. He shoved the lace in his pocket as he spread your slick around your weeping hole, before working you open on his thick finger. You responsive body was preening under the attention, and you eagerly bucked into his hand as his palm grazed your clit.
"Fuck baby, you're so wet," he groaned his head falling into your neck. "Whose got you this wet?"
"You do," you moaned out. "Only you."
"Yeah?" He asked, making you whimper as he removed his hand. He slowly worked the cold barrel of his gun into you soaked channel, as he did that he sucked your juices off his finger.
He worked you until the barrel was seated inside you fully. Before he left it there running his hands along your inner thighs and occasionally grazing your sensitive bud. He was teasing you while your cunt quivered around the gun, you felt so full and stretched around it.
You didn't even notice as Jamie pulled out his phone, but when you saw him take a picture of your body split open on his gun you could've cum right then. He smirked when he saw your hungry eyes watch his every move before hiking you up further by pulling your legs over his hips. You moaned as he nuzzled his face into your neck again and worked his mouth over your favourite spot. You knew well that he'd leave a dark bruise there, and you craved it. You craved that mark of ownership maring your skin. Just the idea made you groan with arousal.
You shuttered as your back brushed against the rough wall in the hallway of the nightclub. The exposed back of your dress creating space for the wall to scratch your delicate skin.
"Please you begged," as Jamie's large hands teased you mercilessly, the warmth a sharp contrast to the cold metal in your soaked cunt.
"You want to act like a desperate whore," Jamie growled in your ear, pushing further into your body. "I'll treat you like a whore." He pulled the gun back just enough, before pushing it roughly back into you. "You'll get off on my gun right here, or I'll make sure you don't cum for weeks little girl."
You sobbed. It was rough, and degrading, but it felt like heaven. You wanted to hate this, but the feel of Jamie's hands on you, as he fucked you with a weapon was indescribable. You wanted more, and yet with a flex of his wrist you felt yourself quiver as you orgasmed all over the shiny metal.
"JAMIE," your cried out as waves of pleasure wracked your body.
As you came down he worked the gun out of you before sliding it into the waistband of his pants. He slowly dragged your cunt along his thigh as you just watched, completely blissed out. He grinned at your expression as you went from being in a post-orgasmic haze, to being fully aroused again, to thrashing against him as you came violent with nothing in your oversensitive core.
He let you come down, cooing in your ear has he did so, "Such a good girl for me." He rubbed soothing hands over your arms and back as he just held you.
Once he'd given you a moment to recover he slowly set you down on shaky knees. You watched him as he pulled the gun out and wiped it off, before pulling the clip from his back pocket and reloading it. You gazed at him shocked as you put it together.
"It wasn't loaded?" You asked, causing Jamie to laugh.
"You thought I'd fuck you with a loaded gun? Come on baby, I told you I'd engage your fantasy I'm not putting my favorite girl at risk," he said with a smile. "Now come on your going to keep my cock warm while I finished working out some more details."
He grabbed your hand and escorted you back to where he'd been all night. He was unashamed as he unzipped his cock and impaled you on it, as you stifled a moan as you settled into his chest. You peppered kisses along his neck as you allowed his beard to tickle the side of your face as he spoke. You felt yourself slowly soaking him as your juices slicked out of your body.
Every once in a while Jamie would look at you and smirk as he felt your walls flutter around him. You were on edge and desperate for friction. By the time you were left alone, realizing that the club around you had closed and it was just you and Jamie you were borderline feral for him. You moved to get off of him, so he could take you home and fuck you, but instead powerful hands held you in place. You looked at Jamie, shocked, before he lifted you slowly and brought you back down roughly.
You understood what he wanted and slowly tucked your knees under you. You worked yourself up his cock, before the hands covering your hips brought you back down. Your responsive body trembled at the give and take you were doing with him. His eyes never left you, watching as you worked yourself to the edge again, he wanted to see you come undone.
With no adrenaline in your veins this time your climax came softer, more subtle, you whimpered out as your body quaked around him. Jamie groaned and pulled your lips to his as he reached his own peak. Once he'd calmed himself he slowly lifted you off I've him. Tucking himself back into his pants he slung a lazy arm around your waist before nodding at the bartender you'd dealt with earlier. He threw some cash on a table and ordered him to lock up. You felt you face heat as you realized you hadn't been alone, but ultimately you didn't care.
It had been a good night.

A Tale of Two Thieves
Rating: G
Warnings: N/A
Notes: Casey belongs to @midnightsramblings and this is an intro piece I wrote for his ship with Zeke. Their ship name ends up being Cake of all things.
The manor was dark as a storm raged outside, lightning flashes leaving twisted shapes on the walls. They illuminated everything in the twisted corridors, from the antique furniture that stood in the darkness, stately and imposing, to the gilded mirrors with ornate detailing.
Everything in the home seemed to be made of wood of a deep, chocolate brown. The floors were made of the same wood and everything was polished until it gleamed. The windows were of the kind that the glass was crisscrossed with metal, each one made up of scores of little glass diamonds. In some rooms,  the ceiling had ornate plastering in the shape of plants or even faces.
It was a beautiful home, and an old one. But on this particular night, the halls contained an intruder. Footfalls, silent in the dark. Eyes peering and fingers prying, in search of things that did not belong to them. A thief.
Or... maybe two.
Zeke smirked as a peal of thunder shook the house. He’d always loved storms and the energy they had, somehow managing to put him at ease and make him buzz with the need to do something. Anything, just to match the energy that laid thick in the air all around him.
He moved carefully through the dark, his vision unhampered by the dark. His eyes were more effective than any human’s and saw with perfect clarity in nearly any variety of darkness. However, as a result, they were sensitive to extremely bright light.
But he didn’t foresee that being a problem, as he approached the room he knew held his prize. The owner of the house had an artifact, a gorgeous necklace with an extraordinarily rare, extremely large crystal. It was worth quite a lot. About $250 million, from what Zeke had learned.
After a moment of pause to ready himself, he tried the door. It was locked, of course. But he had figured he’d see if the owner had been stupid enough to leave it unlocked.
It wouldn’t be the first time.
Zeke slipped down onto his knees, fluid as shadow. Deft fingers pulled tools from their places among his clothes, sliding them into the lock. It was a very complex one for being so old and he found himself amused and surprised. He hadn’t worked this particular variety before although he’d heard of them.
Chubb detector locks, they were called. They were a normal lever lock, but with added protection. The lock was built so that if anyone tried to unlock the door with anything but the true key, it would jam. And then, only the true key would be able to unlock it while it was jammed. Because of the way it was designed, the owner would know when someone had attempted to pick their door, because to unjam the lock they’d have to turn their key the opposite way.
Zeke smirked as he gently prodded the levers inside, noting there were five of them. He’d always wanted to try his hand at one of these and he knew he’d only have one shot. If he pushed any of the levers up too high, they’d jam the lock, and he knew for a fact this was the only way into this room. Otherwise, he’d just have picked his way in through the window.
Still, he was looking forward to the challenge.
Wordlessly, he used his tools to prod at the levers. Every touch was gentle, minute. Painstaking. He tested them carefully, giving himself a long moment to get a feel for this bastard of a lock.
His tongue peeked out from between his lips as he concentrated, head tilting to the side as he listened for every little sound. He focused entirely on his task, the hall and storm outside falling away around him.
This lock was a puzzle. A game. And how he adored games.
It took him time, but he slowly found the correct placement of this first lever. Then the second. Each sliding into place, until...
Finally...
The lock clicked open.
A smirk slid across his face at his triumph and he had to struggle to contain the small laugh that threatened to bubble from his lips. He’d figured it out.
He’d won.
But his elation was short-lived when he glanced at his watch and noticed how long it had taken him.
Four minutes.
Zeke made a face. That amount of time was likely to get him caught in the future. He’d have to use some of his earnings from his client to buy a similar lock to practice on.
With a frustrated sigh, he stood abruptly. He pushed the door open carefully, keeping an eye out for traps. Seeing none, he made his way into the room.
The diamond stood on a cushioned pedestal at the far end of the small room, no bigger than a study. In fact, given the bookcases full of artifacts that were built into the walls, Zeke suspected that was the room’s original purpose.
As he approached the pedestal, Zeke supposed the owner hadn’t thought he’d need any defense besides that lock. It was an extremely complex lock, after all, and notoriously difficult to pick.
But, he mused as he stared down at the necklace, it obviously hadn’t been enough.
After a cursory examination of the pedestal, Zeke decided it was safe to lift the necklace from it. His fingers slid underneath the platinum setting, lifting the massive blue diamond up to dangle in front of his eyes.
It was beautiful, he had to admit. But probably not enough to merit all the lives lost fighting over it throughout history.
He decided he’d have to look at it later, in a room with enough light to make it sparkle and gleam. But for now, well...
Zeke grinned to himself, opening one of his belt pouches and sliding his prize securely inside.
He made his way out of the room, kicking the door shut behind him as he made his way out. Now that he knew his way, he shoved his hands into his pockets and strolled through the mansion like he owned the place.
He didn’t move any less quietly, but he moved much more confidently. He’d figured out earlier that all the staff were hiding in their quarters, cowering from the storm.
Idly, he wondered if any of his traps had caught anything. He’d set up a few in spots around the outside of the mansion, spots he knew other thieves would be using to observe the mansion. He knew several others had been hired to steal the jewel, and he really didn’t feel like fighting any of them.
Normally, he was all for playing all kinds of games. But tonight... his prize was a bit too valuable for that.
Even so... He figured a cursory check of his trap would be good. He’d only set three, all of them simple ankle traps. And he was curious to meet his colleagues, after all.
Zeke slid out of the side door he’d picked his way into earlier, finding his way out into the rain. He lifted his face to it, grinning as he felt the cold drops run down his face.
He tilted his head back down, making his way over to the one in the ruined, burnt husk of the old kitchen. With old manors like this, the kitchen was often separate. It was the building most likely to burn down, so it was beneficial to have it separate from the main house. The house had been more modernly renovated to include a modern kitchen, and a rather nice one too.
Granite countertops and everything. Zeke had to admit he was jealous.
But they had left this old ruin near the main house, unmonitored. Quite stupid of them, quite good for him.
And for the other thieves he knew had been casing the house.
With a soft sigh, Zeke stepped on a large rock outside the old kitchen, slid the board blocking the window to the side, and slipped carefully inside.
He was pleased to find that his trap had worked, a smirk gracing his lips as he examined the man caught like a mouse in his trap.
Zeke had to admit he was handsome, even as he hung upside down. Broad-shouldered, well-muscled, and tall. Combat boots, black jeans, and a black shirt that hung to his frame beautifully. It only slipped down his stomach slightly, revealing a small glimpse of the tanned skin beneath. As his gaze traveled down the man’s form, he realized he’d never met this one before. Dirty blond hair that he was sure was often tousled hung from his head, stubble ran along his jaw. Intense blue-green eyes stared at him, so focused that he drew in a deep breath upon locking gazes with him.
Well fuck, he was hot.
“So...” the man began as he spun slowly, clearing his throat. “This isn’t what you think it is.”
Zeke laughed then, eyes dancing, “Oh, it isn’t?”
He waited for a moment, his grin widening as he watched the man’s face go from vaguely irritated to confused. It only took a split second longer than that for realization to slide across his face.
“I... suppose that all depends on what you think this is?” the man offered, his slow turning making him twist away from Zeke right afterward.
“Hmmm,” Zeke chuckled. He grabbed an old broomstick from the corner, beside a collapsed table. He used it to poke the other thief, turning him a little faster so he wasn’t talking to his back.
“Ah, there’s your pretty face. Thank you,” the other thief remarked dryly.
“Awww,” Zeke snickered, holding his hand over his heart dramatically. “That’s sweet of you.”
"My pleasure.  Mind returning the favor by, I don't know, letting me down?  The blood is rushing to my head.”
Zeke tapped a finger to his lips, looking up at the ceiling thoughtfully. “Well...”
He waited a long moment, adding some suspense.
“I think the fuck not,” Zeke said cheerfully as he dropped his gaze back down quickly, his expression impish.
"Wow, way to be a dick," the other thief muttered under his breath.  "I asked nicely and everything."
Zeke hummed as he produced the necklace from his pouch, dangling it as close to the blond’s face as he dared for a moment, “Considering I have this, I don’t think playing nice would work out in my favor.”
“Well damn,” he said, letting out a deep sigh as he slowly turned away from Zeke again. “I knew I should have stayed home and watched Mean Girls.”
Zeke blinked slowly and turned the other man around with his stick again, then groaned, “Hot and has good taste in movies. Why are all the good ones trying to steal the things I rightfully stole?”
“Have to get your attention to steal your heart somehow,” the blond drawled.
“Smooth,” Zeke laughed, tossing the necklace into the air and catching it before sliding it back into his belt pouch. “Very smooth.”
“Thank you,” the other man said cheerfully, his tone holding more than a hint of sarcasm. “A compliment from a cute thief like you almost makes up for the trap I'm currently dangling from.”
“I’ll make it up to you sometime,” Zeke replied, amusement lacing his voice. “For now, I should get out of here.”
He stepped back towards the window he’d come in from, “I’m afraid I’ll have to be on my way for now though, but before I go...”
Zeke pulled one of his throwing knives from his belt, considering the man carefully for a moment. He didn’t sense any aggression or violence from him. He was sure if he released him, he’d likely try to overpower him and steal the necklace. But... from his body language, his tone, his everything.
He was exasperated, but not interested in hurting anyone.
Zeke flipped the knife in his hand so he was holding the tip, then with a flick of his wrist sent it darting through the air. It cut into the rope holding the man up, slicing it nearly in half but not quite. It was enough that the rope would break given a few more minutes, but those minutes would buy him more than enough time to get away first.
The thief dropped a few inches, his head close to the floor now.
“Fuck not the face!” he yelped, then he blinked as he stared at the floor. “... Oh. Thank you?”
“I wouldn’t want someone so fun getting killed for something he didn’t even steal,” Zeke said easily, turning to the window.
“Wait,” the other thief called. “What’s your name?”
Zeke paused, then turned just enough to wink at the other man, “Well, if you ever manage to beat me to a mark, you might find out.”
And then he stepped forward and pushed the board out of the way. He slipped back out into the rain, belt pouch heavy and heart lightened.
It wasn’t often that he met a thief like him.

2019 OSG Report Week 1
The 2019 NFL season kicks off Sunday, and fantasy football season does as well. It’s very important to know the types of contests or season long formats you’re competing in to have true success. DFS wise, multipliers, and head to head contests calls for safe yet good plays that may be a little chalky across the industry. Big tournaments where finishing in the top 10 is the goal, calls for deep plays at times, and game stacking where you go with guts mixed with some form of research. Cash games or multipliers and head to heads, go for players with good floors with ceiling mixed in. In tournaments, chase the ceiling plays.
Chiefs -3.5 at Jags (52.5)
As always, the Chiefs are in a high total game. The Jags were one of the league’s best secondaries last season and if we go off that and last year’s KC performance this would not be a spot to pay up for the likes of Tyreek Hill. Though his performance vs Jax was subpar last year as well, I’m more inclined to roster Kelce over Hill to be different at TE. Until McCoy was signed, I was all in on Damien Williams week 1 to pair with Mahomes and not heavily target the receivers and hope all TDS thru air and ground comes thru Mahomes and Williams. Will it be a 60/40 split or more in the backfield? Andy Reid did not bring McCoy in just to sit. But I may still take some shots on Williams. His price is still down across the industry. The best value play will be Mecole Hardman in the slot. He’s dirt cheap on all sites and could have the better matchup with Hill and Watkins locked up on the outside by two of the best returning CBs in the NFL
-If we believe the total and the close game theory, you definitely want to run back the stack with some Jags players. I have been leery on rostering or drafting the oft injured Fournette. Maybe with a better passing game it takes some work load off? Nick Foles was the WRs QB in Philly as oppose to Wentz the TE/Ertz whisperer. If true, this will go well for the explosive Dede Westbrook who hasn’t shown his potential yet in a stagnant offense. Westbrook will be a popular choice across all sites. He’s cheap and he’s the #1 WR on a team involved with a 52.5 total. If the Jags defense shows up and slows down KC in any way, they will be a great defensive leverage play in tournaments where a lot of ownership could fall on Kansas City.
Rams -3 at Panthers (50.5)
What to do with the Rams. Do they have Super Bowl loss hangover? Is Gurley healthy? Will his load be lighter to start the season, and save he for the long haul? Last year I believe he was just running so hard the first 14 weeks of the season that he was just banged up to finish. Will he and Malcom Brown split time? If he has a great game, then this will be his cheapest price of the season. If you are looking for a game to stack, then here is one. Cam/Goff, McCaffrey/Gurley and/or WR of choice you like out of Woods, Cooks, and Kupp. Big strong physical receivers like Woods has had success against the smaller CB core of Carolina. DJ Moore is getting a lot of hype, but I never favor WRs of Cam Newton. He’s not predictable. He uses his legs to escape, which turns it into a “throw it to whoever looks open” scenario. So, between his rushing upside, and C-Mac I think those two players get you all of the Carolina TDs.
49ers+1 at Buccaneers (50).
If you’re looking for another stacking option game, then here we go. I do favor the Bucs side of the ball for many many reasons. I’m still not sold on the 49er offense outside of George Kittle who this week could be a top play at TE. Tampa Bay has always including last season been a prime defense to target with TEs. Aside from Kittle, I’m having a hard time clicking on players from teams no matter the over/under who I think are not good teams or players. Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman are splitting the backfield, Jimmy G remains a question mark. Against this Tampa defense however is a good spot to target. I’m just maybe going to miss out. I do think Winston will stockpile targets to Mike Evans for PPR leagues/sites, but TD equity will be a tossup between Peyton Barber, Chris Godwin (who should take a big leap this season, and OJ Howard. Winston as most young QBs loves his TE.
Falcons +3.5 at Vikings (47.5)
I was a little surprised to see the Vikings favored by over a field goal. Yes, Atlanta is on the road but still a dome setting. Xavier Rhodes wasn’t his usual self last season or the preseason, which bodes well for the Atlanta WR core. Particularly Julio Jones whom as of Friday “should play” despite contract negotiations. Matt Ryan is a classic spread it out in the red zone type of QB. While Freeman is Coleman-less in the backfield, I fear the Ito Smith vulture line of 5 rushes 11 yards, 2Td game. Ridley is not a target monster but is a TD machine vs the 0 red zone looks Julio for reasons unknown gets. Sanu is the alter ego of Julio because of his size and strength. My favorite pass catcher will be Hooper at TE who caught on late in the season as is a perfect funnel if the outside corners for Minnesota are doing well.
-Kirk cousins is still at the helm but it’s hard to ignore the concentrated targets of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. Thielen is the safe play while Diggs is the tournament, dart, high upside play. My favorite play is Dalvin Cook. He’s at home✅. Favored✅. Used in the red zone✅. Could touch the ball 20 times✅. For several seasons we have picked on Atlanta with RBs, especially ones who catch passes. Kyle Rudolph seems to score a TD every other game and could be a pivot off Hunter Henry for a cheap TE.
Lions -2.5 at Cardinals (47.5)
Here is a game where I am having trouble with. At first, I skipped over it but think it could deserve some mention. Matt Stafford is underpriced and could go overlooked. The Arizona secondary has only been good in names on jerseys. Mix in a rookie QB who is making his coach feel like “teeth pulling” and the Lions route could be on. Stafford to Golloday or Marvin Jones Jr. could go under owned in tournaments and win a heavy tournament. Kerryon Johnson is also great in stacks with Stafford. If you don’t believe in Murray out the gate, the Lions defense could be sneaky here.
-The Christian Kirk/Kyler Murray train will begin steam and besides a flyer in a Million-dollar tournament stack I’m not sure if I’m heavy on Murray out the gate. He does offer rushing ability but on Fanduel he’s priced $700 more than Stafford. No way! I do think David Johnson returns somewhat to an easy 20 point/game fantasy producer this season. Just remember the Lions slow games down and their stacks are often frustrating to watch play out. I am stacking 2-3 lineups in large field tournaments just in case though.
Redskins +8.5 at Eagles (46)
This game has fade all over it. Large spread. Divisional game (I hate division games). So, with that said Jordan Howard is favored✅. At home✅. And is playable with the defense. Not optimal but if he carries 15-20 times and hits the end zone vs a shaky Washington team, he hits value. Wentz does tend to throw 2-3 TDS a game. He loves Ertz and he is a great pivot off of Kelce in the high priced TE range. He also has favored Alshon Jeffrey and D-Jack is always good for the long ball. But again, never a fan of stock piling divisional games.
Titans +5.5 at Browns (45.5).
Is Tennessee good? No. Do they suck? Yes. Can they go into Cleveland and shock us all and win? Not sure, but I’m willing to say they will cover the 5.5 underdog tag they have. They slow down and muddy up games. They make them real ugly. If Beckham is slowed down by his hip in any way, isn’t the team a lot the same on offense? Again, we are just talking about this week. I don’t favor any Tennessee offensive player but if you think they show up, Derrick Henry or Corey Davis is your guy. Two seasons ago, I would say play Delanie Walker because I have for several seasons successfully played talented TEs vs Cleveland. But are he and Mariota talented together? Maybe not.
-With that said I do like to avoid offenses vs Tennessee and this opening week will probably be no different. The only safe play in my opinion whom also offers upside is Nick Chubb at RB and maybe paired with the Cleveland defense who should be good. I do think we see Baker throw a lot of balls with Todd Monken at offensive coordinator. This is of special interest because Monken was the OC in Tampa and the combined numbers of Winston and FitzMagic, if were one player would have been the #2 scoring fantasy QB in the NFL. I hate being a week late, but I wonder if THIS is the matchup because in fantasy and DFS this game is all we care about for now. Plus, I’m interested to see how Baker distributes the ball. Which pass catcher is most viable? Is OBJ worth the price tag if limited in anyway. Can you trust Higgins or Callaway? I will focus most exposure personally on Nick Chubb and the defense here. He fits the bill. At home✅. Favored✅. Could touch the ball 20 times✅. Usually used in the red zone✅.
Chargers -6.5 at Colts (45)
I do feel I am a fish for it, but I do like the Chargers defense. Maybe Brissett is better than we anticipate, but we know what we are getting here. Austin Eckler’s buzz is growing and rightfully so. He should garner the majority of the rushes and should be involved in the passing game for a team who despite being on the road is favored and playing in a dome. The next fish play is site dependent, but Hunter Henry with no Antonio Gates is in play as is the Rivers/Allen or Rivers/Williams stack.
-I’m not in favor of tournament fliers on Brissett, Marlon Mack, and Eric Ebron. Those would be the only players I would consider but it’s a full fade for me.
Bills + 3 at Jets (40.5)
Why is a 40.5 over/under relevant? The prices. Is Josh Allen one of the best NFL qbs? No! Does he provide fantasy football value because of his legs? Yes.
-Is Sam Darnold the best QB? No. But at home, favored, and pricing, he and Bell could provide the TD equity in this game easy and this game will either fall under 40.5 or go way over and hit 50. I could easily see long TDs from Darnold to Anderson and could allow you to fit any RBs, WRs or defenses you want in lineup construction.
Bengals +10 at Seahawks (44). Chris Carson plus Seattle defense is the play here. Don’t fall for the Tyler Boyd with no AJ Green trap. Mixon could score but this is not an optimal spot.
Ravens -5 at Dolphins (37.5). As much as we may like Baltimore defense, how about the Dolphins defense for dirt cheap and just play all of the offense you want? Are they under dogs? Yes! But they are at home. And Lamar Jason could easily throw a pick six. That mixed with not allowing Baltimore to score 28-31 is good enough at their price. However, Jackson, Mark Ingram, and the Baltimore (an expensive defense) is still in play despite such a low total game. I think the Bills/Jets are more likely to go over their game total than this one. Young QBs like their TEs so Andrews is firmly in play as well.

Fantasy RB Rankings Week 4: Who to start, sit at running back in fantasy football
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fantasy football owners should be used to running backs getting injured, but it never gets any easier. No. 1 pick Christian McCaffrey is the latest casualty, and it's safe to say he's conspicuous by his absence in our Week 4 fantasy RB rankings. Of course, when one back goes down, another gets an opportunity, and all eyes will be on Chuba Hubbard as he tries to graduate from mere handcuff to breakout.  Of course, Hubbard isn't the only sleeper this week. There are plenty of matchups that other backs should be able to exploit, including whoever starts for the 49ers (vs. Seahawks), Zack Moss (vs. Texans), Kenneth Gainwell (vs. Chiefs), and Peyton Barber (@ Chargers) if Josh Jacobs (ankle, toe) is out again. WEEK 4 STANDARD RANKINGS: Quarterback | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | KickerThose aren't the main attractions, though -- those are merely flex backs you might have to start if you've been getting hit by the injury bug. The top backs are still sorting themselves out, as uneven performances have been common early in the season from even some of the biggest names. Fantasy owners are still trying to figure out who they can count on, and while you're not going to give up on guys like Saquon Barkley (vs. Saints), Jonathan Taylor (@ Dolphins), and Ezekiel Elliott (vs. Panthers) just yet, you might be getting close with David Montgomery (vs. Lions) and Myles Gaskin (vs. Colts). WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS: Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | KickerThe good news with those guys is they're not in committees (yet). However, there are still plenty of annoying timeshares causing start 'em, sit 'em headaches every week. The Broncos (vs. Ravens), Bucs (@ Patriots), Ravens (@ Broncos), Cardinals (@ Rams), and Jets (vs. Titans) are some of the most difficult to navigate, especially in weeks in which they have bad matchups. That would apply to the Bucs, Ravens, and Cardinals this week. and it's tough to recommend starting any in standard leagues. The Ravens are a total mess for fantasy owners, and Leonard Fournette and Chase Edmonds figure to be better suited for PPR leagues. The Bucs have a good enough offense that Fournette or Ronald Jones II are always candidates for short TDs, but against the Pats, they're tough to trust. A few other backs are in tough spots this week. Mark Ingram (@ Bills), Damien Harris (vs. Bucs), Darrell Henderson/Sony Michel (vs. Cardinals), and Mike Davis/Cordarrelle Patterson (vs. Washington) all have statistically neutral or unfavorable matchups. We're not too worried about whoever starts for the Rams against the Cardinals, but Ingram and Harris are risky in any format, while Davis and Patterson are also better situated for at least half-PPR setups.About the only thing we know with RB is that there will continue to be injuries. It's an unfortunate fact with this position more than any other. The best you can do is stock up on backups, try to keep a high waiver claim, and get the most out of the guys on your roster. That starts with examining the matchups and usage trends more closely now that we're getting a large sample size. We'll be here to help along the way.Note: We'll be updating these RB rankings as needed throughout the week. so check back for the latest changes.

3 am late March Mock Draft Madness
Joey
March 21st
Up early, looking for something to do. Decided to do a mock draft! Click inside for the goods;
1) Cleveland Browns- QB Sam Darnold, USC
John Dorsey drafted Pat Mahomes with Alex Smith as a one year short term stopgap solution in KC and faces a similar chance with the top pick Cleveland Browns. With Tyrod Taylor as a "get competitive!" holdover, Darnold is your guy who waits in the wings. In an ideal world/perfect scenario, this is the modern day Kitna to Carson Palmer transition.
2) New York Giants- QB Josh Rosen, UCLA
I don't believe the Giants at this point in time would take a QB at 2 but somebody is going to make a move and give up heaven and Earth to get their QB. Josh Rosen is ready to play now and while I don't see all pro QB, I think he can be a starter for a long time for some team. We've seen other teams amass picks to get value (Tennessee mainly) and the Giants might be best suited to replicate the concept with the #2 pick.
3) New York Jets- QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
The Jets made a move up to 3 which says one of two things; 1) they got desperate/jumpy and jumped up figuring they can grab one of their top 3 QBs or 2) they have some sort of unspoken word about the Giants NOT trading and NOT wanting a QB. In this scenario, they snag Baker Mayfield who really brings everything the Jets haven't had in some time. He's their chance at a swagger induced QB who can completely change the tone of a franchise. It's been rumored they REALLY REALLY like Josh Allen (and the Mike Maccagnan profile QB is normally the prototypical big armed big bodied passer) but I have to believe this is where Mayfield goes. If you're moving up to grab Josh Allen, you're moving up to grab someone else's QB.
4) Cleveland Browns- CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State
Once Cleveland gets their franchise QB (in theory), all bets are off on what they could do next. Bad teams with needs everywhere have the benefit of drafting purely BPA because BPA fills a need no matter where you take it. Quenton Nelson and Sanquan Barkley will be in the discussion for some but it's worth remembering Jon Dorsey has had a ton of success with mid round RBs. Denzel Ward is by far the best DB in this draft class no matter how tall he is or isn't.
5) Denver Broncos- RB Sanquan Barkley, Penn State
The Broncos offense suddenly becomes fun and complex. With locked in WRs Damariyus Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders plus Case Keenum in the midst of what most will hope to be a career long renaissance, the Broncos COULD take a QB here but instead opt to grab "the best player in the draft" according to most. Barkley helps transform and reconfigure a Broncos offense in need of an identity boost.
6) Indianapolis Colts- DE Bradley Chubb, North Carolina State
Easy enough I suppose. Thought about Quenton Nelson here and there's a good chance that Indy will move out of this spot but Matt Eberflus has a profile on DEs, a profile I'm familiar with given his time as the Cowboys linebacker coach. Bradley Chubb was a true combine hero at 6'4 270 lbs and has the ability to transform a talentless Indianapolis defense overnight.
7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- S Derwin James, Florida State
Speaking of Combine guys, Derwin James! James to Tampa Bay feels like such an easy fit to match up; a star defender who can play a variety of spots right away. James was rusty recovering from ACL surgery but the NFL is going to get the best version of Derwin which could mean Eric Berry-esque potential. If ya don't believe me then check his athletic profile and who it comps to.
8) Chicago Bears- OG Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame
The Bears have their franchise QB and now need to build around him. They spent in free agency to build a team that could help Mitchell Trubinski in his development and Matt Nagy comes from Kansas City where the offense, at its peak, was all about giving your QB time and allowing him to play quick and loose. Quenton Nelson is the "safest prospect in the draft" (the CURSE OF THE SAFEST PROSPECT!) and immediately replaces Josh Sitton. It's not a "sexy" pick but he would immediately make Chicago better and allow for guys like Taylor Gabriel, Allen Robinson, Trey Burton and Chicago's ridiculous RB corps to do work.
9) Miami Dolphins*- QB Lamar Jackson, Louisville
I feel safe in saying that some team will sneak up to 9 or so and grab the last remaining QB of value. John Lynch doesn't mind moving picks or trading around to get the guys he needs and some team (Buffalo/Arizona/Washington?) will come calling to this spot. Lamar Jackson is only not a QB if you're an dull mind when it comes to what a QB should be able to do. I'm going with Maimi to move up a smidge and get Lamar Jackson after Tannehill ended back to back seasons on the shelf.
10) Oakland Raiders- LB Roquan Smith, Georgia
Not since MAGA and the Angry Video Game Nerd has a movement so focused on bringing us back into the past been thrust upon us. Jon Gruden has said he wants to bring football back to 1998 and his big money deals respective to position to a long snapper and a fullback (Keith Smith is a great dude and a fantastic story about triumphing vs adversity so he deserves every penny) have helped us see what that means. Roquan Smith helps us further go back to 1998 with a top 10 pick for a fantastic Tampa-2 esque linebacker at the WLB spot. Smith can do it all despite his lack of elite height and could play weak or middle for Oakland.
11) San Francisco 49ers- CB-FS Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama
Fitzpatrick is my guess for the early round 1 slider although really good corners tend to go early. 9ers can get a guy who can play in their base defense at either corner or S depending on how things shake out in FA with Eric Reid.
12) Buffalo Bills- DE-OLB Harold Landry, Boston College
This is basically who I imagine the 49ers would take at a spot like this. The 9ers had SERIOUS pass rush problems in 2017 and with a young QB and a developing hip offensive scheme under Kyle Shanahan, a key pass rusher would be a great idea. If not? Buffalo could always use pass rush help right? Riiiiiight?
13) Washington Redskins- DT Vita Vea, Washington
I'd reaaaally hate this as a Cowboys fan. Vita Vea in Washington would be scary when you combine DL guru Jim Tomsula with a physical freak like him at the nose.
14) Green Bay Packers- LB Marcus Davenport, UTSA
Pass rushers are a premium, nothing else will be said as often as that statement throughout April. The Packers really need help on defense and a guy like Marcus Davenport who has traditional rushed out of a 2 point stance will be of interest to them for sure. Davenport also did himself plenty of favors with a fantastic combine.
15) Arizona Cardinals- QB Josh Allen, Wyoming
The Cardinals are almost guaranteed to do some moving and shaking come draft time and I'd bet for sure they don't pick here. They lack a lot of the draft capital to move up (just 5 picks) so they could go backwards OR they could use 2019 picks to go FORWARDS and take a QB. Either way, pencil in a QB at this spot if they stick around. Sam Bradford is bound to break something eventually.
16) Baltimore Ravens- WR Calvin Ridley, Alabama
Ozzie Newsome and Alabama. Ridley and Crabtree give you maybe one last gasp with Flacco at the helm of the Ravens offense.
17) San Diego Chargers- LB Tremaine Edmunds, Virginia Tech
So close, Cowboys fans. Edmunds flirts with taking a big drop to 19 but is gone at 17. Can play ILB or OLB in the Chargers 3-4 scheme with elite rushers like Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram around him.
18) Seattle Seahawks- OT Mike McGlinchey, Notre Dame
For the love of God please help Russell Wilson.
19) Dallas Cowboys- WR D.J Moore, Maryland
The Cowboys seemingly will focus their efforts on two spots early; WR and LB. Anybody outside of those two positions will fall under either a best case (elite talent slides) or a worst case (wiped out at the two spots) mentality. The Cowboys might like Ridley more but DJ Moore is the better athlete and flat out better fit in their offense.
20) Detroit Lions- RB Derrius Guice, LSU
The signing of LaGarrette Blount doesn't prevent Detroit from further collecting help for Matt Stafford. The Lions are chasing the Vikings in their division and will have to contend with Minnesota's defense---so why not double up on great running backs? OL and DL help are a priority as well.
21) Cincinnati Bengals- OL Connor Williams, Texas
If you remove the fact that he weighed in under 300 lbs, Connor Williams had himself quite the combine. New Bengals OL coach Frank Pollack values OL who can scoot and jump, two things Williams excelled at at the Combine. The question is whether he's a guard or a tackle BUT I figure Cincy will have to figure that out themselves.
22) Buffalo Bills- WR Courtland Sutton, SMU
Bills need additional help at the WR spot. The Alshon Jeffery comps are apt with Sutton who will need time but can grow to be a #1 WR. Low floor, high ceiling in the case of the 6'3 Sutton.
23) Los Angeles Rams- OLB Arden Key, LSU
The Rams have acquired plenty of back end talent for this defense en flux and also moved on from linebackers. Arden Key, if focused/healthy, is the sort of guy who can transition this defense to the next level. He comes with questions across the board but he can rush the passer and Wade Phillips, having seen him work with Spencer and Ware, knows how to unlock talented edges.
24) Carolina Panthers- TE Hayden Hurst, South Carolina
The best all around TE in the draft for a team that's going to have to come to grips with the end of the Greg Olsen Era.
25) Tennessee Titans- LB Rashaan Evans, Alabama
The general consensus, from my research at least, is that it'll be defense for Tennessee. Torn between Leighton Vander Esch and Rashaan Evans, I opted for the more consistent higher floor thumper MLB type.
26) Atlanta Falcons- DT Da'Ron Payne, Alabama
Back to back Bama Bros! Payne was largely unproductive in college, to an almost laughable degree, but tested out really well at the Combine and might just be a case of the scheme stifling the player. He'll immediately give Grady Jarrett some help on the interior of the Falcons DL plus with Takk McKinley and Vic Beasley on the edge, the Falcons can really give OL hell.
27) New Orleans Saints- LB Leighton Vander Esch, Boise State
A fella with the name and look of a guy who Bruce Willis fights in a Die Hard movie, Leighton Vander Esch reminds me a lot of Jaylon Smith at his time in ND. Big athletic flashes with some passiveness to his game especially in the run. Give him a year or two to bulk up and the Saints could have a stud linebacker to add to their already impressive young crop of defenders.
28) Pittsburgh Steelers- DT Maurice Hurst, Michigan
Really was stuck here. No major QB of note, not gonna be ballsy enough to grab a RB, they just added Morgan Burnett and there's no linebacker I really feel a liking for. The perfect 3-technique, Mo Hurst would give the Steelers some help at the 3-4 DE spot. Just didn't see a really good value spot here.
29) Jacksonville Jaguars- QB Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State
This would be a great spot for Isaiah Wynn but the Jaguars spent on guards in free agency. A WR would be cool here too but  Mason Rudolph would give the Jaguars a developmental QB behind Blake Bortles who fits some of the rules and models that old school types like Tom Coughlin abide by (look up the BP rules on drafting QBs).
30) Minnesota Vikings- OL Isaiah Wynn, Georgia
This is big time value for the Vikings who get to continue to rebuild their offensive line. Wynn is one of the best technicians in the draft for OL.
31) New England Patriots- CB Jaire Alexander, Louisville
The Patriots traded for Jason McCourty and have Stephen Gilmore but depth doesn't hurt at corner, am I right? Jaire Alexander is a freakishly good corner and insane value at 31 if he can stay healthy and if you can overlook his lack of elite height.
32) Philadelphia Eagles- RB Ronald Jones, USC
The Ronald Jones to Eagles bandwagon has been hot for a minute now. Don't ask ME to change that.

6 Things About Us General Insurance You Have To Experience It Yourself | us general insurance
According to research, US general insurance is one of the most in demand insurance in America. Some of the biggest businesses today are State Farm, Berkshire Hathaway, Liberty Mutual, State Street Corporation, Berkshire, and Chubb, among others. General insurance is an umbrella term that covers all types of insurance, including life and health insurance. You can purchase any type of general insurance as you wish.
With different types of insurance it is essential to keep a close eye on what your policy covers. This means that you must have coverage for every possible eventuality. The coverage will vary according to your choice. Some insurance policies will only cover injuries that may occur in your home or at work.
There are a few factors that you should consider when purchasing general insurance, such as the amount of coverage, the major medical expenses, and the deductible. In general most policies will cover a small percentage of your medical expenses for injuries you may incur at work. However, the amount of coverage varies, and you may be unable to pay all or some of your medical expenses for the injury. This can be costly and stressful for someone who suffers from injuries at work. For this reason, it is important to carefully consider the insurance that you purchase and what types of policies it covers.
If you are not a business owner, you will not have a problem obtaining a policy to cover yourself and your family. Most general insurance companies allow you to get a general policy for just a few hundred dollars. For a business owner with employees, however, they may not be able to obtain the type of insurance that you need. If your business employs a large number of employees, they might be able to obtain their own insurance policies through their employers. However, if you own your own business and do not have an employer, you may be able to get this type of insurance.
When purchasing general insurance, you should know that there are many different plans that you can purchase. Most companies offer either individual or family plans. You can get coverage for yourself, your family, your employees, and even your vehicles. Most general policies will include any type of vehicle coverage that you wish.
Having insurance on your car and using it safely is a good way to keep from having to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for repairs if anything happens to your car or any other part of your home. The cost of a claim also can be astronomical. Having a policy with an affordable price tag is crucial when purchasing insurance. Although the cost is high, the peace of mind that comes from having insurance can mean the difference between financial disaster or financial recovery from serious injury. The best way to protect yourself and your family is to purchase a good general policy and take care of it on your own and never have to worry about your insurance costs.

Hong Kong Int. Airport Handled 71.5 Million Passengers in 2019
Tumblr media
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) handled 71.5 million passengers and 419,730 flight movements in 2019, decreases of 4.2% and 1.9% respectively, when compared to 2018. Total cargo throughput declined 6.1% year-on-year to 4.8 million tonnes. During the year, HKIA’s extensive air network expanded by 17 new destinations – including Beijing Daxing International Airport, Borg El Arab, Dover Cheswold, Doncaster, Guwahati, Hefei, Istanbul Ataturk Airport, Jieyang, Labuan, Nagasaki, Niigata, Phu Quoc, Puerto Princesa, Shimojishima, Yangzhou, Yekaterinburg and Yinchuan.
Tumblr media
HKIA registered 33,990 flight movements in December 2019, an 8.4% year-on-year decrease. Passenger volume declined 12.5% to 5.7 million while cargo throughput decreased slightly by 1% to 443,000 tonnes compared to December 2018. Passenger volume continued to be affected by weak visitor traffic in December 2019. Passenger figures to and from Mainland China and Southeast Asia experienced the most significant decreases during the month. However, transfer / transit traffic and Hong Kong resident travel registered strong year-on-year growth of 14% and 9%, respectively. Exports saw a 3% year-on-year increase in December 2019 while imports and transshipments both remained weak. Amongst key trading regions, cargo exported to Europe, India and Japan contributed the most growth. Vivian Cheung, Executive Director of Airport Operations for the Airport Authority, said, “We went through a challenging year in 2019. I must thank the 78,000 members of the airport community for their dedication to ensuring smooth, safe journeys for our passengers, especially in difficult circumstances. Looking ahead, we will continue to enhance the airport’s facilities to improve the passenger experience at HKIA even more. Following the commissioning of the Terminal 1 (T1) extension and the revamp of the East Hall food court in 2019, our enhancements of T1 will continue with gate transformation, the commissioning of Sky Bridge and the extension of Car Park 4. HKIA will always emphasise passenger-centric features to provide a vibrant, world-class experience for travellers.” See latest Travel News, Interviews, Podcasts and other news regarding: HKIA, Traffic, Hong Kong. It’s the best time to be a Browns fan in 20 years. Should you jump on the bandwagon?
Tumblr media
The Browns have no shortage of drama...and some of it is good!
With apologies to the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams, the Cleveland Browns are the most interesting team in the NFL. Hue Jackson’s third year at the helm of the league’s most snakebit franchise has been occasionally great, occasionally cursed, and sometimes frustrating — but it’s never been boring.
This may be as weird to read as it is to type, but in this, our year of the lord 2018, the Browns are awesome to watch.
Through five games, they’ve been to overtime three times. They’ve won two games by four points or fewer. They’ve lost two games, each by a field goal. They’ve played five hours, 28 minutes, and 12 seconds of football in five weeks, and nearly all of it has been in the midst of a one-possession game.
They’ve had two games marred by terrible kicking, with one of those also running afoul of the league’s controversial new roughing the passer rule. A loss to the Raiders was made possible my some terrible calls and the universe’s stark reminder that the only way to truly break a heart is to give it hope first. Their first win in more than 20 months soaked the city of Cleveland with free beer-adjacent beverages. Their second relinquished Baltimore’s claim as the AFC North’s top team.
At 2-2-1, the club has already tripled the number of total victories Jackson’s had as an NFL coach. And with a young roster loaded with intriguing, but largely unproven, talent, 2018 could be a pivotal year in the Browns’ journey from league doormat to eventual contender.
But somewhere in that upward climb lies an important question.
Is it safe to root for the Cleveland Browns?
Cheering for the Browns is football’s equivalent of watching the Futurama episode where Fry finds the fossilized remains of his old dog Seymour. It’s good for a few laughs, a little hope, and some interesting twists and turns, but by the time the credits roll, all you’re able to comprehend is a world of darkness and regret. 2018 might not be any different than the previous 19 seasons that ended with zero playoff wins and exactly one (1) Pro Bowl quarterback (Derek Anderson), but it’s giving off the impression it will be.
The Browns will take a .500 or better record into Week 6 of the NFL season for the first time since 2014. The ‘14 squad represents Cleveland’s high water mark of the past decade, a 7-9 franchise defined by the overachievement of players like Brian Hoyer, Andrew Hawkins, and Craig Robertson. The closest thing the team had to a legitimate star was Joe Haden.
This year’s team is the Harlem Globetrotters by comparison. 2018’s No. 1 pick, Baker Mayfield, is living up to standards behind center and looks like the team’s first homegrown franchise quarterback since Bernie Kosar. Offseason acquisition Jarvis Landry has proven himself worthy of the $75 million deal he signed in April; he’s on pace for a 1,200+ yard season despite being the only recognizable name on the Browns’ wide receiver depth chart. Nick Chubb, Duke Johnson, and Carlos Hyde have made up a multifaceted tailback platoon that’s run for more yardage than all but one other NFL team this fall.
The defense could wind up being even better. The Christian Kirksey-Joe Schobert-Jamie Collins pairing in the middle of the field bring Cleveland a steady linebacking core. In front of them, an as-advertised Myles Garrett leads a rising defensive front where no starter is older than 25 years old. In fact, aside from Collins, none of the team’s defensive starters is older than 26 this fall — which means that group is only going to get better.
Most importantly, that talent is turning opportunity into wins.
The Browns may have only two victories since 2016, but those wins were beacons of strength in games where Cleveland could have sunk to the level of franchise expectations and settled for nothing. They trailed the Jets 14-3 at halftime before Mayfield stepped into the lineup and provided the spark his team needed for a drought-snapping, primetime triumph. They could have shrank from the spotlight after missing a game-winning field goal at the end of regulation and then turning the ball over on downs in Ravens territory in Week 5 — instead Mayfield dragged the team from its own five-yard line and into the Baltimore red zone to set up a game-winning field goal.
Like I said, awesome. But ...
The Browns are still plenty capable of breaking your heart
It’s difficult to believe, but this Cleveland team can make a reasonable case that it should be 5-0. Instead, a combination of questionable calls and regrettable kicks has left Jackson’s team at an unlucky 2-2-1.
In Week 1, Garrett ran afoul of the league’s renewed emphasis on roughing the passer calls when this play ...
Terrible rule RT @OllieConnolly: Roughing the passer call on Myles Garrett. Landed on Roethlisberger with his body weight. A fourth down stop turned into a touchdown the very next play. pic.twitter.com/XkadnZCdx1
— GoPackGo (@DonP757) September 9, 2018
... turned what would have been a fourth-and-goal field goal attempt into a James Conner touchdown. Those extra four points would be vitally important for Pittsburgh.
From there, the Browns squandered several different chances to beat their AFC North rival. Tyrod Taylor drove his team into Steeler territory tied 21-21 with fewer than 30 seconds left, then threw an interception on first-and-10 from the Pittsburgh 43. Three straight overtime possessions ended in three-and-outs. And when the Steelers attempted to hand the game to Cleveland with a fumble in their own territory, Zane Gonzalez was there to get his game-winning field goal attempt blocked from 41 yards out.
The next week, Gonzalez was left to play goat — he missed two field goals and an extra point in the fourth quarter of a 21-18 loss to the Saints — and then left off the roster after general manager John Dorsey released him the following Monday. Two weeks later, officials would blow a potentially game-sealing fumble dead before it could turn into a Cleveland touchdown ...
Tumblr media
... and then overturn a key spot on a definitely game-sealing third-down conversion, allowing the Raiders just enough leverage to make a stunning comeback and earn an overtime win.
Despite the ever-present garbage, there’s something different about this year’s team
So, yes, supporting the Browns is still painful and dumb. The wins are drama. The losses are drama. Nothing is boring, and everything is at least a little awful.
But there’s something to Cleveland’s rebuild. Two decades of pouring cement into a swamp has finally settled into something like a stable foundation. The low-hanging smog that surrounds FirstEnergy Stadium, an invisible mist that turned almost every prospect but Joe Thomas into something less than his potential, has yet to mutate this latest crop of young talent. Finding the silver lining on the Browns’ Sundays no longer requires squinting your pupils down to horizontal lines.
That’s different. And unlike 2014’s overachieving 7-9 season or 2007’s unsustainable 10-6 mark (the year that made us think both Derek Anderson AND Braylon Edwards were Pro Bowl talents), this year’s roster is loaded with young, homegrown talent that still has plenty of room to improve from here. Those are the players — Mayfield, Garrett, Schobert, Chubb, Landry, Larry Ogunjobi, Denzel Ward, and several others — who can turn this hope into something bigger.
That is, as long as they don’t Browns it all up first.
