𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗞𝗡𝗘𝗪⁣ ⁣ It’s 1 am and I’m thinking of my life. I feel gratitude for all the things that are happening, the people coming in and out of my life, the good and bad experiences; as growth comes from all kinds of moments, I think of solitude , I think of soul mates, I think of breath, the earth, my feet on it, my soul, my heart, my children, my nonstop beating heart even when heavy, my eyes even when teary, my skin even when changing, my lips even when wet, my freckles that account for every year of life like a ring is to the trees, my sweat as accountable for my actions, the discovery I’m seeking, the loss I feel sometimes that teaches me to love the gains, catching the tail end of what I have journeyed and walked through rocks and freezing rivers, if you only knew what goes on with people in their truth. ⁣ ⁣ If you only knew what river runs through me, how marvelous it is that we can’t step in the same river twice. My feet are not tired of walking they are ready to keep climbing, my breath is not fast because of exhaustion but because of excitement of what’s to come. My hands are ready to grasp the wind and the sunsets in mountains, my words that help me communicate. A irmã teve gêmeos. Alice e Davi, lindos e pequeninos. Os bebês ficaram na UTI quase duas semanas, mas agora já estão em casa. Eu sou tia e eu sou a tia mais feliz do mundo. 𝗟𝗘𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧… Six months ago I embarked in the idea of being a part of an art show that made sense for me. @theotherartfair is a place for artists, not for show off, not for competition, not for only collectors or fancy shmancy. It’s a place for art lovers, and people who believe in us artists as innovators, mind set changers and believers of pure magic. It’s a place to dream big, to show yourself as who you are and not have someone else say or make you who you are to please others. It made sense! I applied and got accepted from over 300 artists that applied. Then won the spot to represent the fair with the @hoxtonhotel family in my neighborhood of williamsburg!!! Set out to understand my art as an entity, as my career for a living, as the place where I want to be. I opened my company, open my business account and started in the venture of understanding organization, strategy and lots of LOVE for myself and who I came to this world to be. I want people to have my work on their walls, to smile when they see it, to wake up and contemplate it in their space. I want to live off what I most love. Being an artist or anything you do in life isn’t easy, but if you love it… it’s a blast! And that is the best job ever! 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘…⁣ ⁣ I have a feeling of coming back home. Of coming back to my basics, of being there in that place where I have been longing to be at. Where things start to make sense, where I start to make sense to myself. ⁣ ⁣ Where I have understood that In some eyes I will be the monster and in some I will be the savior, where some might think I have no heart , but others might say “you are my heart” , how we create everything we have, we see, we feel, we are so powerful in our own minds that we can manifest change. ⁣ ⁣ I know and understand that I am a good person, that I am who I am because I am strong and have shed through everything I have been through. Because I know that I am willing to embrace change. That I want to feel again like I belong in this place. ⁣ ⁣ I am a person who loves and has loved with her whole heart, that the people that exist in my life are part of me, that I love them dearly. That when I walk barefoot I walk in awe of my own path. That I am the woman I want to be even though I have gone through the adversities of that rocky road, I have felt my bones cracking, and melting with despair. 𝗧𝗥𝗬𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗬 𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗔 𝗩𝗢𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗣𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪... ⁣ ⁣ The power 💪 of her feet 🦶 had felt stronger until she broke in pieces. The braking became a search, the search became a learning moment, the moment became an interrogation, and the interrogation became an idea. Sensations create ideas 💡 ⁣ ⁣ Like an abstract painting 🧑‍🎨 she reached for parts of the pieces. She slowly put them together in awe and resemblance. She melted the past into her present and her present was stronger. The past had tormented her for quite sometime and now as she searched and questioned everything like a child, she discovered that her feet felt grounded, that her hands even as boyish as they were, had been essential to touch and build strength. ⁣ ⁣ The ground was filled with ants 🐜 and those picked through her skin with violence and burn. 🔥 That burn made her feel. Made her feel alive. Made her realize that this is the time to take action. This is the time to live and not flounder, this is the time to construct bigger not deconstruct. ⁣ ⁣ As a prisoner she ate little, thought too much and made the best of her time. ⁣ ⁣ Let’s rely on intuition and let’s know and feel that our presence is what matters, that our decisions must burn and thus heal also. FLYING MY WAY... She decided to go to the ocean 🌊 to have another deep conversation. 🤔 her wild demons were all over the place. Mingling between her wants and her sensations. The fabric flew with the wind 💨 as the sand touched her feet. She felt a large proximity to the cold waters that streamed from the North. She felt a mixture of loneliness and replenishing energies that began to turn into rollercoasters. She knew that that was her place a place of confusion where life was giving her the opportunity to flow and fly, to find solutions. She was grateful for the opportunity. She just wanted to sit between blankets and warm skin and FEEL her creativity burn. 🔥 She decided she would fly her own way, like a small bird for the first time she was touched by something that made her understand that flying her way was the way to derail from the energies that disturbed her frequencies. 🦋 🌳 🌞 Her affair with the ocean 🌊 became stronger. She dismembered the clouds and analyzed them. When is it too much? So many tears evaporated and made clouds rumble and tumble with winds blowing and turning. Reading, contemplating, reorganizing, understanding and placing priorities. Trying to keep myself in the present and not the future or the past. Forgiving herself. Knowing and understanding that she did things out of a place of love. The judgement of others are not her problem. If they liked her or not wasn’t Hers to decipher. 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡.. Wow and here we go again. To be honest I didn’t think this would happen again after two years. The process of changing is never ending, but when our energies are scattered in many places and you forget again to respect you, to love you, to understand that You are the most important thing in your world. ✋ STOP… take a breath… listen… feel. To be honest I’m a little lost again. And I have come to an understating with myself that that is ok. That I just have to show up for myself most importantly listen to my heart. The path got erased as I walked, the roughness of my souls became greater and more acute, the drumming of my heart became faint, I still can listen to myself screaming in the middle of so many things.. “Hey! I’m still here! Are you ready?” I realized I’ve been looking away and pretending unconsciously that everything is fine. Hitting July was the scream ! It’s been a rough six months, mixed with ups and downs, heartache and pain, loss and yearning, melancholic moments and great successes. Maybe they could have been bigger but I must be LOVE and say “you did well… “ The process is real again, looking for silence, looking for LARA, looking for peace of mind. Leaving the most important part of me in this process is the hardest thing. My heart grieves and suddenly screams, it will wait. Just be calm, just believe. Believe in what you manifested in 2020 is still here. Just waiting for you to fix yourself. Starting residency on Tuesday. Making new work is my healing. Being in artist mode is my healing. I will come back stronger, and I am a believer that the Universe has my back. Thanks for reading!
