Save the date - April 28, 2018 Hi everyone! I was wondering if you would please help #endstigma on #mentalhealth. Peaks for Change Foundation (www.peaksforchangefoundation.org) is raising funds for CAMH, for the new Acute Care Clinc, that broke ground recently. I was wondering if you could pencil in April 28, 2018, to join us for our first Gala event. I will definitely send out more information on how to purchase tickets. It’s a party day!!!! Also, we have an online store in our website with cool mountaineering clothing... a toque is perfect for the cold days ahead and the tshirts are great for Yoga or the gym or simply stylish to wear with jeans!!! I just recently climb Carstensz Pyramid in Papua, New Guinea, Indonesia, where I Summit my first of the 7 Summitts. I also became the first Portuguese woman to climb this mountain. I am asking if you can get ‘involved ‘, visit our site and support Mental Health, CAMH, by donating. All donations are 100 percent for CAMH, as the costs of the climbs are being covered by me personally . Donations are Tax Deductible!!!! Just over a year ago Peaks for Change Foundation was just an idea. I had been in Mexico surfing @lasolassurf . I had taken this last minute surfing trip , after having cut my noise in Costa Rica surfing in January. I had decided to go back into the water in March, with fear I would become scared of the water and a surf board. And it was during this trip I confirmed what would become my first of the Seven Summits – Carstensz Pyramid with @terraultima_voyages for the Fall. Then Kilimanjaro was completed this past January and in about 10 weeks I am headed for Russia to climb Mount Elbrus with @alpineascents . Which then it will be followed by Mount Vinson Massif in Antarctica with @antarcticlogistics. After this past weekend’s Peaks for Change Annual Summit Gala and the overwhelming support received in support of @camhfoundation I am humbled for our Foundation. But I am also determined that we are in the right path to help #endthestigma on mental health. And more motivated than ever! MDC Media Group announced the arrival @camoestv on Sunday February 4 2018. And I have the pleasure of being @carmomonteiro ‘s guest this Sunday May 6 from 10:00am and 11::00am. You can watch it on your local basic cable, such as Rogers Digital 129, cable 12.
