This not only made me laugh, it reminded me of something else - photos of a Spitfire intercepting a V-1 cruise missile in the 1944 sky over Southern England.

AFAIK those - from the Imperial War Museum - are the ONLY genuine photos of any Allied aircraft wing-tipping a buzz-bomb.
All others are faked, though it doesn't stop stuff like this:

That image, impossibly crisp for wartime air-to-air combat photography, was simply credit-cropped and grey-scaled without further use of filters or processing. Even so, "amazing shot" suggests it was not only posted as real but credulously accepted and reposted as such.

...which many people interested in WW2 aviation would recognise, so any claim of reality came not just from a faker and liar but an INEPT faker and liar.
Lazy, too, because a few years ago I did this using Photomizer Retro, Vintager and BWorks, photo-manipulation programs which even back then were well past cutting-edge.

Shifting from colour to monochrome is just the first step.
Pictures from half a century or a century ago. showing situations where the action couldn't have been neatly posed and pin-sharp, need to look that way, and these are only halfway there.

Those two on the right already look more authentic than the original greyscale-only, and someone intending deliberate deception with an agenda like fake news / propaganda / scam ("recently discovered wartime photos for sale") etc.) would have spent far longer, with far better tools, and produced a far better result.

V-1 "doodlebugs" (so-called - also "buzz-bomb" - because of the droning noise made by its primitive pulse-jet engine) were so fast at +350 mph / 565 kph that wing-tipping was unusual and difficult.
It wasn't actual wing-to-wing contact, but flying close enough to disrupt the airflow and make the V-1 roll sideways. The gyro of its simple straight-and-level autopilot couldn't correct for this, and it crashed.
Most propeller fighters could only catch them after a dive and even pilots of really fast machines like the Tempest, Mosquito and Gloster Meteor (the RAF's first jet)...

Without a pilot to make evasive manoeuvres the target was a "sitter", but since its warhead was 850 kg / 1870 lb of high explosive and its fuel tanks weren't empty, making a successful hit from the optimum firing range of 250-300 yd / 230-275m was...

Here's one Mosquito as it should be, and another after flying through the fireball of an exploding enemy bomber nailed with its full load still aboard. Detonating a V-1 would have had similar effects.

Let me get one thing straight: I know I'm going to sound crazy. What I'm about to say is going to sound absolutely bonkers. But I need to write it anyway.
To get the introductory out of the way, my name is Zach, and I've always been a huge fan of classic 2D platformers. I have very fond memories of playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii when I was 7 back in 2009. I'm 22 now, and not much has changed. I played Super Mario Bros. Wonder almost immediately after it came out. Celeste is a particular favorite of mine, and Pizza Tower was a blast. I also own Sonic Mania Plus.
Recently I was at a garage sale and found something that seemed to unlock a memory from my childhood. It was a CD copy of Marshmallow Land. I have vivid memories of loving the game to death. It didn't seem to be the original case though, since it was just a generic CD case with a paper stuffed in the front, with crude Sharpie reading "Marshmallow Land". The person running the garage sale saw me and walked over. He was a man in his late 40's who lived alone since his wife died a couple years ago. "How much?" I asked him, holding up the case. "I'm willing to give that away for free. I don't want it in my house anymore" he said with a look of fear in his eyes. "Though I will warn you, you shouldn't mess with it. Don't put it in your computer, just leave it be." "What kind of sense does that make?" I said with a chuckle. "It's just a video game." "I-I can't even begin to describe it…" he said, trailing off. He turned around to go talk to the other people there. Since he said it was free, I decided to pick it up and walk back home. Inspecting the disc closely, it was the real thing. I remembered that the disc my parents had looked exactly the same, if a little less beat up. I hugged it tightly to my chest for a moment, excited. I had always wondered what the end of the game was, I had never had the skill to beat it as a child.
Arriving home, I sat down at my computer right away. I shook the mouse to wake the thing, and it sprung to life right away. Realizing my computer didn't have a disc drive, I rummaged around and found an auxillary one. I placed it on top of my machine, and plugged it in. I put the disc in and closed the drive. The whirring commenced, letting me know it was reading correctly. Soon enough, an explorer window popped up on my screen. Nestled right there, among the engine files, was MarshmallowLand.exe.
Double clicking it, nothing happened for a second. Then the game window popped up, and it sprung to life. 8-bit music filled my headphones, and the art was exactly like I remembered. It went for a simplistic black and white artstyle, being very simple in terms of sprites. The game had a very non-typical title screen. You controlled the character to navigate the menu, like an in-game main menu.
I used the arrow keys, and walked over to the play button. I pressed enter, and was flung into the actual game. Walking forward, there was an NPC. He looked kind of sad. Interacting with him told me pretty much all the plot this game had. Essentially it's just a hostile country takeover. Walking past, I just on my first enemy, a little fireball guy. He gets squished, and dies. They physics, just as janky as ever, instantly teleports me to the ground. This has always slightly amused me.
Nothing really notabable happens. It's just level one, exactly as I remember it. When I got to the end, the classic "You finished!" screen appeared. When I loaded into level two, something just felt… off. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something just wasn't right. I moved the character right and ran into a wall covered in some glitchy texture. Weird, I thought, thinking maybe I just didn't remember this from the last time I played. So I walked left. Instead of a level, it was more like a level plane. No platforms, no terrain differences, nothing. Soon enough, I saw a red pixel texture on the ground, overlaying the existing tiles. "That isn't…" I said out loud.
I kept walking forward, beginning to feel a little uneasy. What I saw next, made my stomach drop. It was the mangled corpse of one of the little fire dudes, ripped to bloody shreds. Red pixelized sploches covered the floor and the nearby tree. There was also something else I noticed. The expression of my player character had changed from a cheery smile to an almost fearful expression. With a little hesitation, I continued walking forward. I walked past dead marshmallows, dead coal guys, and dead bats. Some were ripped to pieces, others hung on trees by ropes. In the back of my mind, I began to wonder if this was some kind of sick joke. Some sort of mod, or bootleg. But then why did it seem so official? Why did it come in a CD case of all things?
Just then, the game screen went black. After a second or two, text popped up on the screen. "Not what you expected, isn't it?" Of course it isn't! I thought. Suddenly, I found myself back in the first level again. Walking forward, there were no NPCs, or even enemies. It was just barren land, empty and sad. As I reached a small climbing bit, the screen went black again. More text appeared, saying, "It's missing something, don't you think?" I thought it was missing all the gameplay, but I can't say I didn't expect what… whatever was saying that thought. The ground was positively covered in pixelated blood, and walking forward revealed slightly more high resolution corpses.
Dead animals, humans, fires, and marshmallows were everywhere. They coated the floors and walls, their blood smeared everywhere. All of the structures that were fine a second ago were now all collapsed. This was all making me severly uncomfortable, and I'm wondering how this even happened. The expression on my player character was that of utter disgust, seemingly hating every second I forced him to walk over the blood soaked land. Soon, at the top of the tower that marked the end of the level, stood a marshmallow.
At first, my player character looked relieved, before becoming more… on-edge. He began backing away from the other marshmallow, a weary look on his face. With a sort of morbid curiosity, I pushed him forward. Before I could run into the other guy, the screen blanked again. I decided it was too much, and tried to close the program. Instead of it closing, more text showed up. It read: "I don't think that'll work, Zach." A jolt of fear ran up my body to my brain. H-how does it know my name?! I thought. More text appeared, saying "Let's play a game, shall we?"
I found myself on that endless plane again. My player character was rapidly gesturing at me to move to the right, so I did. Eventually, after what felt like a whole two minutes, there he was again. The marshmallow was there, with a Firekin in front of him. The marshmallowed picked it up, and ripped it two. Blood splattered everywhere, and I winced at the realistic sound it made. With a long laugh, the marshmallow turned to me slowly, his skin turning to a harsh shade of red. "Nostalgia won't carry you forward, Zach." Just then, spikes errupted in the background and foreground, with dead bodies skewered violently on them. The ground was once again covered in blood. My character was now really scared, and I felt the same. Using him as a vessel, I ran away from the persuing marshmallow. He wasn't even touching the ground, He was flying. He had also grown to two times it's original size. I ran and ran, but he kept creeping closer.
Before he could reach my character, he vanished. I kept running, trying to just get as far away as possible. Then, before I could stop, he came into frame in front of me. My player character slammed into him at full force. The screen went black, and I heard my character scream in pain. A second later, I saw the bloody aftermath. I sat there, a look of shock on my face. This was the last thing I expected to see today, and quite frankly, I was horrified. The screen blanked again, before more text popped up. "It's been fun playing with you, Zach." It said.
Then the game closed, leaving a message box behind. All it said was: "Just know, I am the one true god of this world."
I was kind of shaken. That was certainly not what I wanted out of this afternoon, let alone my childhood game. After the game closed, I immediately ejected the disk from the CD drive. I put it neatly back in it's case, and put it on my bookshelf, resolving never to touch it again. Getting back on my computer to browse Youtube as a mind-clear, I noticed a text file on my desktop. It was named "the future.txt". Opening it, it only had two lines of text:
It was my mom's actual death date.

Okay so: it's not that bad, it's not great but it's not hell (most of the time).
You definitely get more freedom as an adult, and you start to learn about yourself on a deeper level which is exciting.
As for surviving capitalism, it's not as bad as it sounds (for me at least, I'm very privileged to live in a country with a decent minimum wage, paid time off and free health care - it might be different for others).
I work at an international airport as a sales person for the duty free store and it's a lot of fun. There are days when it sucks and I'm sleep deprived and tired and my feet hurt, but there are so many little joys.
I helped a shy autistic girl and her mum find the perfect affordable pair of noise cancelling headphones and the look on the little girls face when she got them was priceless.
I talked an 80 year old woman through what to expect on a plane and what will happen when she lands because she'd never flown before.
I helped an older gentleman pick out his first pair of wireless headphones and talked him through all the tech jargon his kids didn't explain.
From a distance my job looks kind of miserable, I'm on my feet for 8 hours, it's not making me tons of money, and sometimes the work is boring or stressful. But up close? When you zoom in hour by hour it's beautiful, and I get to connect with other people and try and make their day just a bit brighter, make them laugh, make them feel like they matter. There are so many beautiful moments hidden in the minutiae.
Also full disclaimer you - life's not supposed to be a chore, and work doesn't have to be your whole life. I'm also studying at University to get a degree in astrophysics and I love that, but I don't know if I want to work in research. For now I'm enjoying having a "boring job" that pays me so I can go to concerts and see friends and buy books which I'll read after work. Because work isn't the be all end all - sometimes a job is just something you do so you can build a life you love outside of work.

#its the mogul#gta online#story time:#so im doing a quick hangar sell mission right#i get the mogul#as i make the 4th of 5 drops around fort zancudo i see a mkii coming for me from the city#when i see it im im the middle of landing on a hill so i can jato boost so i just do that... but upwards#i continue gaining altitude until i'm pretty high up and i see the mkii on the minimap dumbfounded below me#last drop is all the way west of mount gordo so i push on#the hostile npcs are chipping away at the mogul throughout all of this#the mkii eventually figures out that i'm above them and starts climbing#sandy shores is barely below me when my left engine dies#just before the right engine follows it to the shadow realm the mkii gets level with me and starts blasting missiles my way#that's when i rediscover the fact that the sell mission mogul can't be locked onto#by now we're parallel to the west shore of alamo sea#the mkii missing free aim rocket after free aim rocket#me praying to whatever deity watches over los santos that i have enough height to make it to the drop#i soon find that i in fact do#enough to need to perform an impressive plummet to make sure i'm low enough to drop off the cargo#i finish the sale and jump out of the plane#the mkii is so close i manage to cap the user with a navy revolver#at that point i fall into the sea#upon an unsuccessful attempt to run me over the mkii user ends up in the drink too#i then proceed to beat them to death#afterwards i call a merryweather boat and gtfo of there#the end#shitpost

due to popular demand i’ve bought the ingredients to try to make a knock-off version of these. i got the buttermilk on sale and it expires soon so watch this space. 
also i unironically love june and really enjoy shoving various traits of my own coworkers & office job into these sprinkler sections. 
She lands in Albuquerque before dawn. It feels as if she’s slinking unseen into the city, hidden from it while it hides from her. No shadows of the Sandias are visible against the horizon, no twisting Rio Grande cutting through the dry land. In the darkness, the plane wheels seem to touch down in her own stomach, a heavy landing that bumps and skids over the tarmac before settling like lead on the Earth.

It’s a clean slate kind of city. Emerging from the hot dust like an iron from a forge, still hissing.
And when she lived here, she was a clean slate, too. She was level and she was making something of herself, growing and growing. She was coral snakes in the shade, eyes glittering.
these commentaries are always so self indulgent but it feels really cool to like... i dont know. i think about years ago writing a scene where kim and jimmy sit on the trunk of her car and she talks about how the desert is clean and sterile. and now here we are and that still feels right and still feels important. 
also i had ‘eyes blinking’ here for days and then genius i am i had to google whether snakes can blink or not, and i guess they can’t blink or WHATEVER they have no EYELIDS who CARES. but i changed it anyway. 
The sun climbs above them, spilling warm light over her skin, over the bare land.
i wanted it to look like morning over the sandias 😔
Kim sees the severe woman in her empty house, leaning on the back of a chair just to stay upright. “She wants—”
—a shadowed room, with light carving slices from peeling walls and metal tables. A cigarette and a lie and familiar eyes and his name in her mouth again. A time capsule and a time machine and the words come falling out—
“She wants her husband back.”
the more i work on it the more i’m struck by this post-canon era being an era of women and their lost husbands. cheryl and marie and skyler etc etc. 
so the idea of there being this like... obviously cheryl would literally like howard back in the world of the living. but jimmy never left that world for kim, yet she still got her husband back. so this thought of how someone can be lost to you in more than one way, i guess? cheryl lost howard in every way--his life was taken, and the reality of who he was as a man was taken from the world, too. 
it’s all something i hope i can explore more over the course of the story. 
Jimmy’s palms rest tentatively on her back, the faintest pressure, as if he wants to make sure she knows he’s willing to let her go again.
jimmy imagines his hands as hovering birds a couple of times in the safs cicero chapter, and i thought about it here. 
Her arms come up around him, and she presses her cheek into his shoulder. He floats his hands over her back for a moment, hovering birds, and then he finally lowers them, touching. She’s warm against him.
“Jimmy,” she murmurs. “I’m sorry about your mom.”
just like. i don’t know. it’s the same hug. 
always the same hug. 
And the flickering bulb above them seems like it’s inside him now, a quivering light over his face, his shielding fingers. “I didn’t think you could keep coming here like this for much longer.”
“Well,” Kim murmurs, “that’s why we’re a team.” And she smiles, so slowly. “I figured out how.”
things that were genuinely a relief for ME to figure out! i didn’t want to rush kim becoming a lawyer, so. this felt nice. 
“Sometimes I was better,” he says, finally. “But I never could figure out being better all the time…”
i said this in a reply to a comment somewhere, but i feel like such a key part of jimmy’s entire character journey is like... how little he’s ever felt content in his current circumstances. 
like, even writing pre-canon stuff, i found jimmy almost always was thinking that things would be better soon, or things used to be better. even the early days of the mailroom were uncomfortable for him at the time but only became rose-coloured afterwards. 
so that’s something he’s thinking about now, now that he’s got plenty of time to think. 
And Jimmy lingers on it for a second, as if still debating whether to say it, as if holding on to this moment before he finally answers: “Skyler White.”

A system that isn't in your head? Yeah, that's us.
◦˚✧˚◦◦˚✧˚◦◦˚✧˚◦◦˚✧˚◦
So yeah! Let's talk about that.
Our system is external. I am obviously alive, and live within my body. And this is our body, because we are a system and live this life together-
But, they don't reside in this body, they don't reside in my brain. They exist outside of my brain as what I prefer to call spirits, or electromagnetic entities.
Funnily enough, I never actually believed in that being possible years ago. I actually didn't feel comfortable with spirituality in any sense, saw it all as a delusion.
But then, they started to be very.. Aware of things they shouldn't, if they exist in my head strictly.
I could list dozens of examples, but I do half expect to be seen as crazy for them and I also just don't want to ramble forever. /j
But I will say they were little things. Things that if I was told to go somewhere by them, it'd happen to have things I was looking for on sale. Or even things like my games and internet connection being messed with. If anyone ever wants explicit examples, I'll post about them or you can message us.
(And all that, reading back, admittedly sounds like a haunting. Which is really funny.)
I ended up having to change my entire worldview to make sense of those experiences. It took a lot of theorizing, and every day we're still figuring things out.
What I do believe for myself personally, though, is that my system is spirits, and that spirits just.. Exist. And that perhaps when people experience spiritual things, deity, haunting or otherwise, it's on some level those spirits.
I also believe they're damn everywhere, good and bad ones, just floating around on their own plane and existing. I have no idea about the specifics. Just that everyone here is someone that was just floating around, and eventually met me, and.. Decided to stay and either help, or just get to know me better through my life.
Despite me saying me, my, and I here, that's just to separate what's physical and what's on that other plane right now. When they're connected to this body, this is our life, this is our mind, this is our collective existence.
In fact, the lines of individual and collective blur heavily for our system outside of that one defining feature of me having a physical body, but I assure you we are still individuals. We just are connected by shared thoughts and feelings on a lot of things.
I am an extension of them. Who I am has always been partly influenced by them. And in turn, they are influenced by me, and learn from my own thoughts.
I've also been told some of them stayed to learn from me. Apparently they were aggressive, but I never knew how to be. So I taught them to be calmer, and they taught me to be more assertive.
Others apparently might have been following around parents of mine, or friends, before landing on us. Either way, we gradually ended up with this family of spirits. Spirits that connected to me and influenced, guided, and helped me throughout our life however they could- just in ways where I didn't know they were there.
And one day, they wanted to be more than spirits, so they somehow got me to look at a tulpamancy post. And from there, I was "making" tulpas, later "splitting," and even having "walk ins."
But in actuality, it was them. Always was them. And from what I'm told, they were very happy to connect in a way where we could talk and know each other more than just me having a tomboy phase or me suddenly being into makeup.
There are so many things they were. And at times, they even suppressed their full memory (especially when on front, it's a lot different fully in front, I still can't fully explain or understand how or why) so when talking to me, they were my headmates. We were a psychological system.
But then my brain became altered in a way where I experience them so differently, they had to be honest. And it did initially make things awkward, finding out that they worked like that instead, but it also helped me make sense of things.
Communicating is still hard sometimes, because there are also negative spirits. And they like to talk over us, send us emotions, and talk as us while trying to convince us it's us. They also mess with so many other things in my life.
However, we fight that by doing the same for each other, and also finding the positive in each other when those idiots are swirling around causing mayhem.
Which.. No, we can't banish them, and no, we also can't reform them. Maybe that will change later, but for now, we ignore them when we can, we laugh at or deal with them when we can't. We deem some days bad mental health days because of them.
I sometimes wonder what it'd be like had this not happened, if we were how we were before, but.. I'm glad we're not. I'm glad we're making the friends we are, I'm glad we get to talk to all Sorts of spirits together now, I'm also just happy I can recognize when they've influenced something and thank them properly.
And while we may seem insane for it, while it all might seem ludicrous.. It's our life. And it's one I mentally and physically can't question, so I might as well buckle in for the ride and experience it together.
And in the meantime, it's given me so much time to ponder the world, how it works, my connection to the "spiritual," what a thought is, and so many other things.
And I want to share them without fear of how we'll be viewed, even if it's negative, because they are our experiences and they are real.
As a small aside.. This does make our origins really hard to figure out, but endogenic and Metagenic make the most sense for us personally. It is spiritual aspects, but it's been this way since I was born. I just didn't know it was happening until much later.

The Sim 4 Rags to Riches Legacy
Have you gotten bored of plane rags to riches challenges? What about normal legacy challenges? Well what if you combined them into a multigenerational legacy rags to riches challenge? That is exactly what I have done today, each generation has special requirements and gameplay aspects that go along with that specific generation. Each generation you will have a sim with 0 Simoleons to their name and nothing but a home lot to live off of. To do this challenge in full you will need a couple expansion packs and game backs in order to complete it all the way, however if there is a way you’d prefer to do a certain generation feel free. This is a challenge that anyone can get behind or have fun doing. As this challenge needs to be as challenging as possible since some generations are noticeable easier than others, you will not be allowed to use public facilities for things like showers, toilets, or even to make food. If you want to eat, grow it or catch it yourself. Each generation will also have an aspiration that they need to complete. Lastly you cannot marry for money (Unless specified for a generation), if you marry a sim and ask them to move in you cannot take the money from their previous household. So without further ado, meet the generations that you will be playing through:
Generation One: Artist of Sorts
Required Packs: Base Game
For this generation you need to master an art form such as, writing, painting, or playing the piano, guitar or violin. The skill that you choose is not the only way your sim can make money obviously but you can not leave the neighborhood that you choose to play in. This generation is your typically rags to riches!
Where to Live: Any Base game world (Oasis Springs, Newcrest, or Willow Creek)
Trait Needed: Loner
(would recommend a trait to help with the skill you choose)
Aspiration: Any aspiration listed under the creativity tab in CAS
Generational Requirements: Do not have a child or children until you have a fully functional house: bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. Master either the piano, guitar, violin, painting, or writing skill, as well as reaching level 5 of the gardening skill. Make and maintain five friends throughout this generation, outside of your lover.
Generation Two: The Entrepreneur 
Required Packs: Get to Work
You saw your parent struggling for money often as you grew up, which made you decide to own a business instead of foraging like your parents did with you. You will have a home lot, but you will not live there until you reach adulthood, when you are no longer a young adult. Marry someone for money once you reach adulthood and divorce (Or kill) them shortly after. You will receive enough money from your parents to buy a plot of land to turn into a retail shop, you will “live” here until adulthood.
Where to Live: Home lot can be anywhere, retail shop will be in Magnolia Promenade
Trait Needed: Ambitious 
Aspiration: Mansion Baron
Generational Requirements: Have an “accidental” child with the person you marry for money. Have a bad relationship with your spouse and child. Open retail shop daily for at least 8 hours (Once you have all the requirements to open). Reach level 5 of the baking skill and level 10 of the charisma skill.
Generation Three: Stand Alone Vendor
Required Packs: City Living and Get to Work
You don’t have very many good memories with your parent. It seemed like they only ever cared about themselves and their business, so you ran away to the city in hopes of finding happiness in food. You live in an empty space atop a skyscraper (bulldoze either the small or large penthouse) and you run a small yard sale in the different areas of the city in order to earn money. You sell basically whatever you can get your hands on, but more than anything you love to sell food and baked goods. You learned to bake from your parent a few times and found a passion in it.
Where to Live: San Myshuno
Trait Needed: Foodie
Aspiration: City Native
Generational Requirements: Fall in love with a food vendor in the city. Reach level 10 of the cooking and baking skills and level five of the gourmet cooking skill. Have at least one child. Have a bad relationship with your parents and good relationships with your kid(s) and grandkid(s).
Generation Four: Club DJ
Required Packs: Get Together
You grew up with your parents in the city, but you longed for something more exciting that karaoke bars and festivals, you longed for a new kind of music and new people. You eventually landed in Windenburg, but you’re not there for no reason, you want to be a DJ. Your parents had encouraged you to follow your dreams, so when you decided to be a DJ they managed to scrounge up enough money to send you off to your dream town.
Where to Live: Windenburg
Trait(s) Needed: Insider and Music Lover
Aspiration: Leader of the Pack
Generational Requirements: Master the DJ, Charisma, and Dancing skills. License at least 5 Mix Tapes. Gather with your club at least three times a week. Date around but never settle down, you have one child.
Generation Five: Fine Dining
Required Packs: Dine Out and City Living
Your parent always seemed happy with their party lifestyle as a DJ and club leader, but this never bothered you because it meant you spent a lot of time with your grandparent who was (as far as you knew) the best cook in the world. You overtime became a perfectionist in not only cooking but every aspect of life. Including in finding the perfect spouse. Your parent gives you enough money to start a restaurant and move back to the city. (Once your children take over the legacy you will move into your grandmas penthouse).
Where to Live: Any world for home lot, San Myshuno for restaurant 
Trait(s) Needed: Perfectionist and Commitment Issues
Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Generational Requirements: Have a five star restaurant. Get married and have kids after aspiration is completed. Master the Gourmet Cooking, mixology, and Gardening skills.
Generation Six: Flower Child
Required Packs: Seasons and Outdoor Retreat
Your parent had a lovely garden while you where growing up that they planted all kids of fruits and vegetables in, and you loved to help them whenever you had the chance. But as you got older you began to wonder about what other kind of plants were out there ready to be grown and harvested. You found the most fascination with types of flowers  and herbs that the city never offered, so you moved out to the country side to explore.

Generation Seven: Devil in Disguise

You grew up in an area that you found to be to “green”. The grassy area and friendly neighbors annoyed you often and you dread your parents weekly camping trips. The day you moved in you knew you made the right decision because stray cats kept showing up at your door. How strange? You wanted to get away the traditional family life so you moved to a place just as strange as you. You couldn’t make money easily so you began stealing and blackmailing people in order for them to pay you off. It work but at what cost?

Trait(s) Needed: Mean and Kleptomaniac
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief
Generational Requirements: Get possessed by the mother. Be on and off with one sim, (break up and get back together at least three times) leave them at the alter, and eventually marry them. Get all your money from blackmailing and stealing. Have little to no relationship with your child (ren). Master the Mischief and comedy skills. Live on a cat hangout lot.
Generation Eight: Pet Enthusiast 
Required Packs: Cat’s and Dogs
You never really enjoyed the life you lived in Strangerville, you found the area to be creepy and the only thing you found joy in where the stray cats that you always found outside. Something about your parent always seemed off to you and you never trusted them, you are no longer on speaking terms with them out of fear. You found great joy in taking care of animals and decided to move away and open your own vet clinic. 
Where to Live: Brindleton Bay
Trait Needed: Paranoid
Aspiration: Friend of the Animals
Generational Requirements: Have two pets at all times. Breed your pets once and sell the offspring, only do this one time. Marry a fellow animal lover. Master the Pet Trainer and Veterinarian skills. Have a five star vet clinic.
Generation Nine: Farming Frenzy
Required Packs: Cottage Living and Cat’s and Dogs
You had amazing parents and an amazing life growing, but something always seemed to be missing. As you got older you realized exactly what that was, big animals. You had always had cats and dogs around your house, but you wanted something bigger, cows and llamas, and maybe something smaller, like chickens. You love all animals big and small and moved out to the country to have all the animals that you dreamed of during your childhood.

Trait(s) Needed: Animal Enthusiast and Vegetarian
Aspiration: Country Caretaker
Generational Requirements: Master the Cross-Stitch and handiness skills. Reach level five of the gourmet cooking, and gardening skills. Have two cows(one of each color), two llamas(one of each color), a chicken coop (or two or three), a cat, and a dog. Befriend a rabbit, befriend the creature keeper, have a garden, and be good friends or higher with all of your animals. Marry anyone of your choice, have at least two kids.
Generation Ten: Everything Eco
Required Packs: Eco Lifestyle
You grew up in the country side on a farm but always felt something wasn’t right. It seemed as if many of the farmers in the area didn’t care about the environment and only cared about using animals to make money. This made you sick, you couldn't stand the idea of the environment being ruined so you decided to move. You moved to beautiful Evergreen Harbor and decided to live off the grid. You want to have a big family and you want the world to be greener for them.
Where to Live: Evergreen Harbor
Trait(s) Needed: Freegan and Recycle Disciple
Aspiration: Big Happy Family
Generational Requirements: Use a dumpster to make money and find objects, Marry someone with the Maker and Green Fiend traits. Live in an off the grid lot, Make your neighborhood in Evergreen Harbor green and eco friendly. Have at least four kids. Master the Fabrication and Juice Fizzing Skills. Have one of each type of insect box.
I got a lot of the ideas for each Generation from LilSimsie’s mini rags to riches challenges, so I have to give her credit. Remember this is all for fun so you don’t have to do everything this exact way or you can skip and replace certain generations with your own ideas. <3

Kyton, Obsignator

[Commissioned by @coldbloodassassin, who wanted a kyton inspired by the Stephen King short story “The Jaunt”. When I was doing research to remind myself which story that was (”It’s longer than you think, dad! Longer than you think!”), I discovered that it has appeared in some reading anthologies aimed at the high school set. Excellent. Students are exposed to all manner of messed up stuff in English classes anyway, and horror short stories are more fun than the seemingly endless competition of Real Bummers that are read as novels in high school.]
Kyton, Obsignator CR 13 LE Outsider (extraplanar) This humanoid figure appears somewhat withered in places and smooth in others, as if they were simultaneously young and ancient. Their face is torn as if by claws or nails, and in place of eyes they have nothing but ragged, still moist holes. Its fingers end in long stained talons.
The obsignators are kytons who are intimately acquainted with the fragility of reality. Sages know that the perceptions of mortals only encompass a small amount of existence, and the obsingators can tap into those extremes of space and time to drive their victims mad. It is said the first obsignators were created from creatures that, due to a teleportation accident, were trapped in the timeless Astral for millennia before reaching their intended destination. And even now, when a kyton is sculpted into an obsignator, it assumes that mantle by tearing its eyes out with its hands, a symbol of the horrors they cannot unsee and the limitations of mere sight.
An obsignator can sense the world around it easily through a variety of mundane and magical senses, but can also shatter the senses of other creatures with illusions. Their appearance is so horrific that other creatures cannot help but stare at them. Obsignators can speed up or slow down time on a whim, and may even stop time briefly, the better to set up their deceptions or conjure backup. Creatures that the kyton touches may be hurled through a nightmarish world of perceptions, teleported away to the fringes of reality for a mere second that seems a lifetime upon their return. Most of those who succumb to this attack are never the same again.
Obsignator kytons are often employed as support units by their fellows. This extends to both enhancing their artwork with carefully crafted illusions as well as transporting kytons and their armies over long distances. Anyone who is not a kyton would be wise to turn down their offers of teleportation, however, as it exposes other creatures to the obsignator’s horrific assaults on reality. Some obsignator kytons disguise themselves as mortals in order to trick adventurers to accepting its services for sale—these victims often find themselves deposited mad and broken into a kyton facility for torture, as other kytons compete to reshape their flesh as thoroughly as the obsignator reshaped their minds.

If the creature succeeds, it is dazzled for 1 round. The save DC is Strength based. Longer Than You Think (Su) With a touch, an obsignator can cause a creature to disappear into a nightmarish dimension. A creature touched must succeed a DC 22 Will save or disappear. Each round, it can make a Will save on its turn to return—when it does so, it reappears in its space (or in an adjacent unoccupied space). It must then succeed a  DC 22 Will save for each round it was gone, taking 1d4 points of Wisdom drain on a failed save and 1 point of Wisdom drain on a successful save. A creature that would be reduced to 0 or fewer Wisdom instead is reduced to 1 Wisdom and gains a random greater madness. A creature under the effects of a dimensional anchor or similar effect is immune to this ability. A creature that travels through the nightmare dimension while blinded gains a +2 bonus to the saving throws to avoid taking Wisdom drain upon their return. A creature that succeeds its initial save is immune to the longer than you think ability of that obsignator for the next 24 hours. This is a teleportation, mind-influencing effect, and the save DC is Charisma based. Maddening Journey (Su) Any creature that an obsignator transports with it using any of its spell-like abilities with the teleportation descriptor must succeed a DC 22 Will save or be subject to the obsignator’s longer than you think ability, arriving at their intended destination only when they succeed a Will save.  Kytons are immune to this effect. Unnerving Gaze (Su) Will DC 22; range 30 ft.; effect shaken 1d4 rounds. While shaken, a creature cannot avert its gaze from the obsignator, as per the lock gaze spell. Additional failed saves extend the duration, but do not increase the level of fear to frightened or beyond. This is a mind-influencing fear effect, and the save DC is Charisma based.
