mandy when I tell you I squealed when I saw this pop up on my dash... I can't believe it's happening! I remember talking to you about this ages ago when it was still in planning stages, like the VERY BEGINNING 🤩🥹😭

omg LANA I KNEW I WAS FORGETTING SOMEONE!!! I knooooow it feels forever ago! (it was, technically, 2023, and 2022 is the creation date for the outline doc, like what the hell). I had to finish my previous longfic or else my brain wouldn't allow me to give my all for TNCFL.

And I was right! Once that last Aster chapter was done it was like the floodgates opened. Bam, I was there during the summer brainstorming like my life depended on it 🤣 So now I'm finally making progress. Ugh, it's such a good feeling. I swear, this story is like crack cocaine. I have a MTH 2024 fic I need to eventually start but I think it's safe to say TNCFL will be the main thing I write this year lol. Other muses will have to wait. Dr. Steve and patient Bucky must shine!!!! Because it's their time!!! FINALLY!!!!

And omg, I had no idea you moved blogs! I know interests change/fluctuate (that actually came up in the BBE Discord earlier today, ironically; meanwhile I pick a fandom/interest and stick with it for years, like ordering the same dish at a restaurant lol) but it means so much to me that you're still here hanging around 💜 I'm very excited that you finally get to see/read what I've been dying to write for literal years now!! Seriously fita is....a crazy book. It's kind of both high and low culture....while now it's considered one of the (relatively) modern gothic novels and has left a cultural imprint, at the time it was considered a trashy book a la romance novels. The writing style is juvenile, but matches the tween protagonist. The story itself is absolutely nuts but invokes reader sympathy. I love it
