I smirked as we stopped on the bridge bag of pastries in hand, I grabbed myself a doughnut and took a large bite savouring the delicious food, and the sugar sent energy coursing through my body as the bready dough filled my empty belly. 

"Buying things... is a lot of effort... a lot of running.." Pinnochio complained,

"You really don't get it do you?" I laughed, "We didn't buy these we stole them,"

"Ohh..."

"I've told you this like four times you really don't get this do you?"

"No... so we stole them?"

"Yes. we stole them."

"I don't think my papa would like me stealing,"

"well who cares what your papa has to say, we have to eat, don't we? Why would I care what anyone thinks?"

"LAMPWICK!" I heard her voice echo across the town,

"ohh no-" I gulped, 

"who's that?" he asked,

"Someone who I care what they think." I gulped, "Run." I told him 

We both bolted as fast as we could through the cobblestone streets even if we didn't have a lot of stamina left already, but we made quick turns and twists until I turned down an alley and almost ran into y/n, stood in her navy blue dress with her arms folded. 

"Ohhhh!" I gulped, "Hello my love,"

"Hello Lampwick," she glared, "what have you been up to today?"

"Ohhh uhhh... nothing just going for a walk," I smiled,

Pinnochio then caught up for me, and he gulped as he noticed Y/n too. 

"Where'd you get the pastries lampwick?"

"ooohh uhhhh the baker he uhh he burnt them, was going to throw them, out, so he gave us a really good price on them," I lied,

"Umm mmm, and how'd you pay that good price?"

"Ohhh well Me and Pinnochio we've uhh we've been doing some work in town, some odd jobs, mostly helping with the street sweepers," I lied putting my arm around Pinnochipo giving his arm a hard squeeze so he would play along, 

"Ohhh you boys must be so tired," she cooed,

"Yeah, yeah we're really tired," I nodded, "But you know all honest work,"

"Yes I'm sure it is," she nodded, "Pinnochio, where did you and lampwick get the pastries?" She asked, 

"We stole them!" he said, 

"god damn it..." I sighed,

"You can go Pinnochio," she said 

He nodded and ran away leaving me to her mercy,

"Y/n..."

"Lampwick." she glared coming closer,

"Y/n, sweetie, darling, angel, babydoll, little bird, my love..." I begged as I backed away but she only kept coming, "Please I'm sorry!"

she grabbed me by the ear, "You are returning them. and apologizing." she said tugging me through town, "And you are working off the ones to eat." 

"Yes y/n" I sighed,

Stories I want to base Ever After High OCs off (an ever growing list)

Hans My Hedgehog (One of my favourite ‘obscure’ fairytales. Already decided her name would be Hannah M. Hedgehog. To fit the design aesthetic of eah she wouldn’t literally have the upper body of a hedgehog and the lower body of a human, she’d be more of a hybrid. She’s a rebel because she rejects her destiny of becoming fully human at the end of the story and embraces her hedgehog side.)

Boy Who Cried Wolf (See my last reblog. Lies a lot but because of their destiny no one tends to believe them anyways. Also accidentally right a lot. Not lying maliciously just doing it for shits and giggles)

The Frog Princess (Because I think it’d be funny for there to be two royals who turn into frogs but are completely unrelated to each other. Also there’s so many variants of this story from region to region that it’d be fun to write this girl)

Speaking of, The Frog Prince (Specifically the daughter of the princess from the tale and the son of the prince’s gayass servant. Princess Girl does not want to be Hopper’s princess but is slightly willing to enact the version where she gets to throw Frog Hopper at a wall instead of kissing him. Dislikes frogs a bit but plays it up as a seething hatred to scare Hopper. Kind of a bitch if you couldn’t tell. Sporty girl. The servant boy is 100% in love with Hopper, like father-like son, and has the iron bands around his heart. Maybe he could be Hopper’s real true love :x)

Pinocchio (Daughters of The Coachman and Mangiafuoco, and niece of Lampwick. The Coachman’s daughter has a pet donkey that everyone thinks is a turned boy, but nope it’s just a regular donkey. She’s a rebel because she doesn’t want to go down the route of her father. Mangiafuoco’s daughter is scary and off-putting, but actually a genuinely nice girl. Would love to perform onstage but she has stage fright and is just so shy in general, so she resorts to puppet theatre instead. Always uses a hand puppet to talk through. Lampwick’s niece is a rebel because she’d rather not turn into a donkey thank you very much. Low-key resented Cedar up until Legacy Day because she believed if Cedar didn’t exist she wouldn’t need to turn into a donkey. Now they’re on better terms since Cedar decided she’d become human in her own way)

The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats (Youngest son of the youngest goat. Really I just like people with goat features. He’d feel tense around Ramona, even though he’s pretty sure she’s probably not the wolf from his story)

Puss In Boats (Daughter of Puss In Boots. Would probably be able to transform between an animal and human form like Bunny Blanc. Doesn’t really align herself with Royal or Rebel, but has slipped into thoughts like ‘if I can make someone else royalty, why can’t I make myself royalty?’)

The Prince and The Pauper (It’s not a fairytale but the books included King Lear’s daughter so I feel like I’m free to do this. I just think designing two boys that look identical would be fun)

Mwindo (One of my favourite tales because of how entertainingly OP Mwindo is. I imagine that his son would be equally as OP and like half of the student population is scared of him. But that fear often gets subsided because he’s not that keen on using his powers like his dad was)

Commedia dell’arte (Not a story but kids based on the stock characters could be fun. They probably wouldn’t attend Ever After High since they wouldn’t have actual destinies, they’d attend another high school. I had the idea of Cedar doubling as the Burattino stock character, and it developed into all the stock characters being based on different dolls/toys, ie Pierrot being a rag doll, Pulcinella being a wind-up toy, etc. Really I just want Cedar to have people who could understand her whole ‘Am I even real’ situation better, is that too much to ask?!)

Two miscellaneous additions that don’t actually align to specific stories; a Warrior Girl and a Forest Witch. (The Warrior Girl is the daughter of a warrior tribe leader. My idea for her story is that it’s an ancient epic that is so old it has lost its exact name, having been repeated so many times. Also, her reason for following her destiny is less ‘we have to or we all disappear’ and more ‘I have to so I can prove myself worthy’. Her warrior kingdom’s society is very different from Ever After’s society, which she learnt the hard way. She feels awkward hanging out with the other girls because of cultural differences, and she doesn’t like hanging out with boys because they tend to underestimate her. She was only supposed to attend for Legacy year so that she could sign the Book of Legends because Milton Grimm would not stop bugging her father about it, but she decided to stay after the shit show that happened on Legacy day. I didn’t base the Forest Witch of a specific fairy tale because goddamn it there are too many witches living in the forests in these tales for me to choose just one. In universe she probably has a specific destiny, or a few, I just haven’t chosen it yet. Very closed off from others. Actually lives in the Enchanted Forest with her mother. She also likes archery but how much of her skill is genuine and is magic is up to debate)

The Devil (He appears in a lot of fairytales. The OC is a girl who is clearly the daughter of the devil, but it’s never said so no one actually knows it. Every time someone asks about her destiny she’s like ‘it’s nothing important don’t worry about it :)’)

Animal Chatter

So, the way I imagine animals working in Auradon is that there's different 'kinds'.

There's normal animals, like the kinds we have.

There's semi-anthropomorphized animals like Lady and the Tramp, the Dalmatians in 101 Dalmatians, even creatures like Lucifer - they clearly understand what's going on and can act with intent, but without an earpiece (or very very close friendship), a normal human can't understand them.

And then there's fully anthropomorphized animals - these are your guys running around on two legs when that's not normal for them, being fully dressed, and can generally be understood by humans. These are your Basils, your mice from Cinderella, your Robin Hoods, your Honest Johns and Gideons (when Gideon's sober anyway). Now, the kids still have to learn human languages (so Olivia can't be understood at first, aside from Lampwick via friendship) but over time people don't need the earpiece anymore. These guys are basically regular folks and often ignore more animal behaviour like their species' diets.

I actually did a butt load of research for this one... Maybe more than necessary lol But hey, it worked out in the end! I'll make a readmore here so you don't have to read if you don't want ajdbfodndoekfjfir

Let me explain my thought process;

I've never seen either of these films. Not 100%. Pinocchio is a big nope, never seen it. And Peter Pan was both a really long time ago and I only saw sections. SO IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN SEEING LAMPWICK HOLDING A CIGAR!!

So yeah, I freaked out because TL looks freaking 9 or something and he's smoking like a businessman. I searched all over Google in the hopes of finding their ages... this is what I found.

Tiger Lily never had a set age (probably from being in literal purgatory) and Lampwick is 12?!?! I guess those were just the times...

Anyway, while looking for TL's age, I see "Fans have agreed she is an adult, as she is old enough to marry" and think AWW HELL NAWW! However

I keep looking, because that doesn't seem right. The whole point of Peter Pan is being able to tell the difference between kids and adults, so it made no sense that she looks 9 (unless this was an anime, then God knows what her age is). THIS lead me to googling what age a girl can get married in a Native American tribe, since that's clearly what she's a part of.

My answer is.. nicer than "She's an adult". The youngest a girl can marry in most Native American tribes is 15. Arrangements can be made from the age of 8, but nothing can happen until 15. With what I read of TL's plot for the film, this tracks amazingly well.

And, just to be sure, I looked up Peter's age too (since she apparently has a crush on him despite the fandom saying it's familial love -sweet home ala- anyway..). Peter Pan is 12/13, so from my guessing, TL is either his age or a year or two younger, to fit with how 'old' Disney wrote romance.

Disney Descendants : Tiger Lily x Lampwick story ideas Part 5

She hates when he listens to loud music. He can't hear her and it's big pain to get ahold of him. But he has so much fun dancing and headbanging that she can't help but join in. Sometimes they like to try to gross each other out. They'll say they don't want to hear it but they laugh the whole time. It's fun for them to tell silly, gross stories. Tiger Lily has plenty, especially from hanging out with the Lost Boys. They like to investigate old mysteries. They can't help it they have to know if its true! They just want to help. They'll investigate weird noises and go places they shouldn't. They're partner detectives!

They prefer warm days but cold days are lots of fun! They like building snowmen, having snowball fights and doing things like going sledding or snowshoeing. They just like having fun! And then they get to make cocoa or hot chocolate. It's even better once the kids are born.

They like to pose in new clothes for each other. They have a little fashion show. It's really fun to see the other one react and enjoy how they look. Especially if they've bought something really good looking. They only keep it secret for something important like the wedding or a dance

They like having lazy pyjama days together. They can just hang out and watch tv. They can get stuff done around the house. They can just be snuggly and warm! It's great!

They don't really wonder what it'd be like to be with anyone else. They've been together for years and they spend a lot of time together not really wondering if anything would be different. They grew up together and it's all they need to know.

Tiger Lily imagines Lampwick as the male romantic leads in the books she reads. What can she say? She loves him and she likes to imagine him saying the romantic stuff they do to her. Only with certain leads though. She doesn't like to imagine him as the jerky ones who come around later.

They weren't used to phones. Now they message each other and call all the time. It's so nice being able to hear from each other and tell them about their day or send them cute photos.

They are very cuddly during the middle of the week. It's hard being stuck working but with the kids in school they can find stuff to do. Like go for a walk, go to a movie, have a date night. It's a nice night.

They always tag each other on their social media pictures and they like them all too. They want to support each other even if it looks dumb. It's ridiculous once they get more famous and people get ruder to them but they always have each other's backs. Even if Lampwick spends too much time fighting with people over her online. XD

Tiger Lily is always amused by his fans who just read magazines. Sometimes she can't resist popping the bubble by telling them he spends all day hanging out chasing babies around and changing diapers. It stops working when the kids are older but for a while it was funny. He's just like 'and proud!'

what if gemini IS lampwick

i dont mean that he is literally lampwick, i mean what if the devs decided to adapt the cricket and lampwick into one character. so gemini is going to fulfill the character role that lampwick had in the narrative

because lampwick/candlewick apparently meaning the wick of a candle/lamp since he was so willowy, but thats still associated with light

and gemini emulates a cricket in a little cage (like in mulan), but he's also a lamp and glows. gemini obviously being a nod to jiminy cricket, but out of all characters we're probably spending virtually all our time with him. and lampwick is also described as pinocchio's best friend, that seems like a big thing to be "left out", so to speak, of the game. even seemingly more minor characters (eugene, medoro, antonio) have been given comparably larger roles

or who knows, maybe we will be actually encountering lampwick later. it's almost hard to imagine that they would not even acknowledge him

2. Needing help but being unable to ask for it

Archie feels watched. 

For someone who was recently stuck in a predicament such as his, it should be unnerving, but he's pretty sure he's not about to get kidnapped again soon - his disappearance was meant to serve a purpose, and now that he's been revealed to be alive, he's safer than most people in town. At least, that's what Emma said, and he has no reason to doubt Emma's judgment on the matter, given that she's the one who had to crack the case. 

Still, he's acutely aware that he's not alone. He's lingering at Marco's house because for now, his own feels a little daunting, as does his office; luckily, his friend is more than happy to let him stay for as long as he needs. Too happy, even - he has a tendency to hover, Marco, fretful to the point of being overbearing, though it can be forgiven, in this situation. 

It's not Marco who's watching him, however. The realization almost makes his smile - he hides it, because he doesn't want his observator to feel mocked, but he must admit it's a pretty endearing sight, the poorly concealed red-haired head peeking from behind the frame. “Do you need something, Pinocchio?”

The boy startles, then, his hiding spot revealed, shuffles forward sheepishly, his eyes firmly fixed on his shoes. “No.”

Archie's faint amusement tinges with sadness, and he reaches out to take Pinocchio's hand, squeezing it gently. “How are you doing? I'm sure it must have been confusing, what you've seen these past few days.”

And confusing is a polite euphemism, he adds, in the privacy of his own mind. It was shocking enough to find out that he'd been declared dead in his absence - he can't imagine what it could have been like, to go through all of it as it unfolded. Marco seemed troubled plenty, and he is a man grown, capable of taking things in stride; for a boy of eight, it must have been a nightmare, especially so close to the end of the curse. 

Still, Pinocchio doesn't deign him with a response, and simply shrugs, not looking up at all. Archie sighs, sinking onto the couch to be at a passable eye level with him, if the boy ever changes his mind. “It's alright. I understand. But look- everything's back to normal now. I'm sorry you had to think I was dead, but they were wrong, see? I'm still here. Like it happened to you, remember?”

“But Papa says I was dead for real that time,” Pinocchio replies, his voice small and wavering. “Were you dead for real?”

The doctor resists the urge to hang his head in defeat, instead brushing a wayward strand of hair off the boy’s forehead. “No, I wasn’t. Nothing happened, I promise- it was all just a big scare, and it’s over now. I know it’s hard to believe - it’s hard for me, too - but everything’s fine. You and your father held the fort for me just fine.”

He’d hoped that would grant him a glimmer of a better mood, but Pinocchio seems to sink even further into himself, his hands balled into fists at his sides. “I didn’t do anything. There was a funeral, but Papa figured all that out himself. I just held Pongo and kept him away from the food, ‘cause it was people food.”

“Oh, Pinocchio…”

“Lampwick came too. He said it was just to eat for free and that you’d hate that he was there, but I know he just wanted to check if I was freaking out- but I wasn’t. I swear, I was being good.”

At a surface level, Archie would be almost peeved. He’s having the rare, almost unique chance of experiencing something most people won’t, hearing what happened at his own funeral, and he’s sure he’ll have to unpack all of it painfully and methodically, once he can bear the idea of being alone with his thoughts - that a certain rough-and-tumble boy was cracking jokes in poor taste for most of it is just the cherry on top, really.

But he’s not alone, now, and he can appreciate that someone thought to keep an eye on this boy when he couldn’t - and that he can resume his job when it’s most needed, as well. “I’m glad you had your friend with you, to talk about it,” he says, choosing every word with the utmost care. “Do you…want to talk more?”

A stiff shake of the child’s head, as stubborn as it is clear. “I see. Would you like a hug, then?”

Again, there is no answer; but when the doctor opens his arms it’s a matter of moments before they’re filled with a trembling bundle of child, all but clinging to him as Pinocchio shakes with sobs so hard it’s a wonder he isn’t snapping a bone. Archie lets out another sigh, then gently engulfs the boy into the hug, rubbing his back and shushing him as best as he can. “It’s alright,” he repeats, though it’s hard to determine how effective it might be. “You’re alright. I’m here. I’m not going away again if I can help it, okay?”

Pinocchio gives him what could pass for a nod, sniffing loudly now that he’s not trying to conceal his face anymore. “I woulda taken real good care of Pongo,” he says, rubbing at his nose with the sleeve of his shirt. “I swear.”

“I know you would have,” Archie murmurs, squeezing the boy tighter, and he doesn’t know which one of them is being soothed more by the gesture, but he doesn’t think it actually matters, at the end of the day.

“You’re a good boy, Pinocchio. I know I can count on you.”

Now for the oc that I was talking about (that you might’ve not even known if you are seeing this for my Pinocchio Shrek au)

Here is Lampwick,Candlewick or Romeo,my Pinocchio oc.

Human Romeo design:I gave him red hair which is dyed (natural hair is black.)He is Mexican and speaks Spanish.I gave him a scar because he gets in to lots of trouble.He has a blackish cloak (I think it is) with golden color fire embroidery (reference to nick name by the school.)Has a grey long sleeved shirt with brown (I hope I got the color right) pants.I also gave him brown eyes, a tooth gap and black boots (I think they are.)

Ghost design:He is dead in the ghost design (me stating the obvious.)His design had a little inspiration by how ghost lord Farquad looked.I made his whole body a very light blue.I also gave him a longer teal cloak with the embroidery being ghosts instead.I (tried) making him have donkey ears (I will explain how the pleasure islands magic works later.)Finally I gave him long hair because I like how it looks and it was inspired by “Lies of P” Romeo.

Pleasure Island magic:I like to imagine it being dark magic with the coachman being a demon of some sorts who transform children into donkeys when they indulge into the sins of the amusement park.The amusement park is covered in dark magic with the transformation speed so the more you enjoy it,the more painful and quick it will be (the kids stay 4 months there.)But due to Romeo just wanting to hang out with Pinocchio (I maybe ship my oc with Pinocchio) and Pinocchio just wants to relax and see the stars (His fairy signature look is stars, get it the Disney song) the transformation is a lot slower.So when Romeo and Pinocchio are halfway transformed,Romeo helped Pinocchio leave the island by finding an open exit for him.By the time Pinocchio left The transformation was almost complete so he took the island down with him by burning this place down with him inside.I am very mixed on wanting anyone who leaves Pleasure Island to forget their memories but if they do then Pinocchio doesn’t remember Romeo and if he does he can visit him in the underworld (his fairy will have an explanation when I draw her.)

I blushed hard thinking of what I was to do, I waited in my room eagerly watching the sky darken and the lamplighters pass my little house lighting the street lamps as they go, I sat in my little grey dress my favourite to wear as it so often infuriated my father to see me in it given how much of my skin would be exposed in it, tossing my coin between my fingers. He had given me my allowance today so of course I had added what I needed to my piggy bank, put aside my treats and spending money for the month and now was left with a single silver coin that I now waited eagerly to spend. Once darkness engulfed the little town I waited listening to my father shifting and moving in his room getting ready for bed, soon enough the light from his room extinguished plunging the corridor into the darkness not a single bit of light was able to slip under my door and only a few moments later I could hear his loud snores. 

I took this as my chance opening my window and scampering down the tree I made sure not to be spotted as I hurried away from our little house. 

I headed for town seeing the shops shut up for the night, the hotel locked up too only really a bar or two still open and they had few on them, I hurried along towards the beach but found I didn't even have to go all that way as he stood on the bridge leaning there having a cigarette watching the ocean almost as if he was waiting for me. I blushed and slowly headed over hiding my coin behind me

"Lampwick"

He perked up and turned to me with a slight smirk "Y/n" he smirked back "What brings a little thing like you all the way out here by yourself?" 

"Just admiring the moonlight" I smiled coming closer

"It is a very nice night" he smirked back "Don't play innocent darling we both know your out for more than an evening walk"

"Maybe I am" I smirked handing over the silver coin he smirked taking it checking out and adding it to his pocket 

"I figured you'd be coming round soon," he says before taking my hand and the two of us happily scampered off down the cobblestones being as quiet as possible until we reached our usual spot. 

Just on the very edge of town was a bridge and a large arch on the side of this arch was a little stone room with a wooden door it was from back when the bridge had a toll and a toll keeper but it had since been forgotten about the door was padlocked but many nights ago Lampwick broke the lock for somewhere with a roof away from the cold I had replaced it so we could have a private little place we snuck inside and immediately locked the door behind us the room no bigger than a square foot just big enough for the two of us and as soon as we were inside he took me in his arms and kissed me I happily kissed him backbiting on his lip a little which caused him to pull back 

"Humm excited tonight darling" he whispered and I nodded "alright, nice and quiet" he reminds pushing me against the wall I eagerly waited feeling him stroke my body before he found my breasts fondling them a little as he kissed my neck "ummm you feel good, maybe I should play with these"

"Lampwick" I whined 

"I know I know, have some patience darling" he Cooes moving to pull up my dress his hand slipping under to stoke me "uhhh soaked already for me" he smirked slipping two fingers inside me and using his thumb to rub my clit I did my best to bite my lip my fingers finding little grips in the bricks as he worked tirelessly supplying me with wave after wave of pleasure often kissing my neck while he worked "that nice darling?"

hi what r ur thoughts on my disney crossover ship Tiger Lily x Lampwick from Peter Pan 1953 and Pinocchio 1940?

I can honestly say I’ve never thought of those two in particular ship wise (and I used to go hard for non/Disney ships) it is an interesting one tho.

I had always imagined Lampwick having a thing for Pinocchio; like he’d eventually turn back like the rest of the boys from donkeys and the two become closer.

As for Tiger Lily, I’ve never really gave her much thought (I need to start adding her in more things)

Hello!! Thank you for your kind words thye are really appreciated! I unfortunately have no time to draw Arlecchino how I think he would look like, but I found a original illustration of him how I imagine him to be.

Sort of like this but apply the Jaster puppet at the Venigni arcate and give him this design (ofc make it more puppet like hahah) Also very glad you like my Wick, I love him to death and pitch his cheeks like a auntie with his nephew daily!!

do u ever think abt many different iterations of pinocchio and or other characters from it interacting with eachother, like imagine disney pinoke interacting with the gay one, or any other geppetto's meeting lies of p geppetto, tbh im down to see any different lampwicks interacting with eachother

TBH im not typically a crossover person (which is laughable considering my roots as a huge smash bros fan and then recently enjoying the disney freaks interacting with one another) so i haven't really considered much with the different pinocchios interacting with each other

one-off stuff sounds funny to me though i feel like i could really get behind those sort of prompts

i like to think lies of p lampwick meeting, like, disney's lampwick has similar energies to this
