🌷. మహిమ : జ్ఞానరూపిణి,సరస్వతీశక్తిగా స్తుతించబడే కూష్మాండ రూపంతో అలరారే దేవీమాత అభయముద్రలను ధరించి భక్తులను కాపాడుతుంది. నమ్మిన భక్తులకు బహురూపాలుగా కనిపించి రక్షిస్తుంది. ఆయుష్యును, ఆరోగ్యాన్ని ప్రసాదిస్తుంది. సంసారమనే జగత్తు యొక్క అందాన్ని ఉదరాన ధరించే మాయారూపిణి .. ఈమె .

దుర్గామాత నాలుగవ స్వరూప నామము ‘కూష్మాండ’. దరహాసముతో అంటే అవలీలగా బ్రహ్మాండమును సృజించుతుంది కాబట్టి ఈ దేవి ‘కూష్మాండ’ అనే పేరుతో విఖ్యాతి చెందింది.

🌻. సాధన : ఈ జగత్తు సృష్టి జరుగక ముందు అంతటా గాఢాంధకారమే అలముకొని ఉండేది. అప్పుడు ఈ దేవి తన దరహాసమాత్రంతో ఈ బ్రహ్మాండాలను సృజించింది. కాబట్టి ఈ స్వరూపమే ఈ సృష్టికి ఆదిశక్తి. ఈ సృష్టిరచనకు పూర్వము బ్రహ్మాండమునకు అస్తిత్వమే లేదు.

ఈమె సూర్యమండలాంతర్వర్తిని. స��ర్య మండలంలో నివసింపగల శక్తిసామర్థ్యములు ఈమెకే గలవు. ఈమె శరీరకాంతిచ్ఛటలు సూర్యకిరణ ప్రభలలాగా దేదీవ్యమానముగా వెలుగొందుతూ ఉంటాయి. ఈమె తేజస్సు నిరుపమానము. దానికి అదే సాటి. ఇతర దేవతాస్వరూపాలేవీ ఈమె తేజః ప్రభావములతో తులతూగలేవు. ఈమె తేజోమండల ప్రభావమే దశదిశలూ వెలుగొందుతూ ఉంటుంది. బ్రహ్మాండములోని అన్ని వస్తువులలో, ప్రాణులలో ఉన్న తేజస్సు కూష్మాండ ఛాయయే.

ఈ స్వరూపము ఎనిమిది భుజాలతో విరాజిల్లుతూ ఉంటుంది. అందువల్లనే ఈమె ‘అష్టభుజాదేవి’ అనే పేరుతో కూడా వాసిగాంచింది. ఈమె ఏడు చేతులలో వరుసగా కండలమూ, ధనుస్సూ, బాణమూ, కమలమూ, అమృతకలశమూ, చక్ర గదలు తేజరిల్లుతూ ఉంటాయి. ఎనిమిదవ చేతిలో సర్వ సిద్ధులనూ, నిధులనూ ప్రసాదించే జపమాల ఉంటుంది. సింహవాహన. సంస్కృతంలో ‘కూష్మాండము’ అంటే గుమ్మడికాయ. కూష్మాండబలి ఈమెకు అత్యంత ప్రీతికరము. ఇందువల్ల కూడా ఈమెను ‘కూష్మాండ’ అని పిలుస్తారు.

నవరాత్రి ఉత్సవాలలో నాల్గవరోజు కూష్మాండాదేవీ స్వరూపమే దుర్గామాత భక్తుల పూజలను అందుకొంటుంది. ఈనాడు సాధకుని మనస్సు అనాహత చక్రంలో స్థిరమవుతుంది. కాబట్టి ఈ రోజు ఉపాసకుడు పవిత్రమైన, నిశ్చలమైన మనస్సుతో కూష్మాండాదేవి స్వరూపాన్నే ధ్యానిస్తూ పూజలు చేయాలి. భక్తులు ఈ స్వరూపాన్ని చక్కగా ఉపాసించడంవల్ల పరితృప్తయై ఈమె వారి రోగాలనూ, శోకాలనూ రూపుమాపుతుంది. ఈమె భక్తులకు ఆయుర్యశోబలములూ, ఆరోగ్యభాగ్యములు వృద్ధి చెందుతాయి. సేవకుల కొద్దిపాటి భక్తికే ఈ దేవి ప్రసన్నురాలవుతుంది. మానవుడు నిర్మల హృదయంతో ఈమెను శరణుజొచ్చిన వెంటనే అతి సులభముగా పరమ పదము ప్రాప్తిస్తుంది.

శాస్త్రాలలో, పురాణాలలో పేర్కొనబడిన రీతిలో విధివిధానమును అనుసరించి మనము దుర్గాదేవిని ఉపాసిస్తూ అనవరతము భక్తి మార్గంలో అగ్రేసరులమై ఉండాలి. ఈ తల్లి భక్తిసేవా మార్గంలో కొద్దిపాటిగానైనా పురోగమించగలిగిన సాధకునికి ఆమె కృపానుభవము అవశ్యము కలిగి తీరుతుంది. దాని ఫలితంగా దుఃఖరూప సంసారమంతా భక్తునికి సుఖదాయకమూ, సుగమమూ అవుతుంది. మనిషి సహజంగా భవసాగరాన్ని తరించడనికి ఈ తల్లియొక్క ఉపాసన అతి సులభమైన, శ్రేయస్కరమైన మార్గం. మనిషి ఆదివ్యాధులనుండీ సర్వదా విముక్తుడవటానికీ, సుఖసమృద్ధిని పొందటానికీ, ఉన్నతిని పొందటానికీ కూష్మాండా దేవిని ఉపాసించటమనేది రాజమార్గం వంటిది. కాబట్టి లౌకిక, పారలౌకిక ఉన్నతిని కాంక్షించేవారు ఈ దేవీస్వరూపంయొక్క ఉపాసనలో సర్వదా తత్పరులై ఉండాలి. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

🌹 Worship Maa Kushmanda on the 4th day of Navaratri 🌹

Maa Kushmanda, the fourth Avatar of Goddess Durga, is worhipped on the 4th day of Navratri. Her name means the cosmic egg' and she is considered the creator of the universe. As per the Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu was able to start creating the universe when Maa Kushmanda smiled like a flower which blossomed with a bud. She created the world from nothing, at the time when there was eternal darkness al around. This Swarup of Maa Durga is the source of all. Since she created the universe, she is called Adiswarup and Adishakti.

She has eights hands in which she holds Kamandul,bow, arrow, a jar of nectar (Amrit),discus, mace and a lotus, and in one hand she holds a rosary which blesses her devotees with the Ashtasiddhis and Navniddhis. She is also known as Ashtabhuja.She has a radiant face and golden body complexion. Maa resides in the core of the Sun and thus controls the Surya Lok.

Maa Kushmanda represents Anahata Chakra in spiritual practice. The divine blessings of Maa Kushmanda helps you improve your health and wealth. She removes all the hurdles and troubles from your life and enables you to get rid of all sorts sorrows in life. Maa brings light into darkness and establishes harmony in your life.

🍀. Spiritual Significance :

As Kushmanda among the nine durgas , as Mahalakshmi in Shrimad Devi Bhagawatam and as Kamakhya in tantras , Devi is regarded as the very source of everything . She is regarded as universal mother simply because everything that exists is born out of her . She is the womb / source from which Shiva ( time ) , Vishnu ( space ) and Bramha ( matter ) are also born , she is the Mother of all gods.

Kushmanda means from whose ushma / self energy , the Bramhanda ( universe ) is born . She is the mother Goddess to everything that is animate and inanimate . Creations have born out of her and goes back to her . She is the beginning and she is the end of cosmos .

Devi is consciousness and bliss incarnate as Saguna which is worshiped as Kamakhya , Mahalakshmi , Lalita , Kalika and other Vidya forms of her , and also she is formless , unknown or unseen as Nirguna parabramha . In form and as formless both ways she exists . When she's in a form she becomes the mother and creates life and universes , when she becomes formless she devours everything back within herself .

Goddess is regarded as the supreme Godhead in Hindu spirituality , almost every scripture speaks in volumes of her being the very source of universe . She is the Hiraṇyagarbha from which all life is born . In medieval times when their was a rise of male deity centric traditions in Hinduism such as shaivism and Vaishnavism , their was an attempt to hide the ancient perceived science of sages and gurus who mentioned the primordial womb or Devi as the supreme source of existence .

తానెవ్వరిచేతను ధరించబడనివాడైనట్లయిన మరి పరమాత్ముడెవ్వరి చేత ధరించబడును? - అని ఆశంక చేసికొని అందులకు సమాధానముగా 'స్వధృతః' అను నామమును చెప్పుచున్నారు.

'స భగవః కస్మిన్ ప్రతిష్ఠిత ఇతి; స్వే మహిమ్ని' (ఛాందోగ్యోపనిషత్ 7.24.1)

यद्येवमयं भगवान् परमात्मासनातनः । केन धार्यत इत्याशङ्क्याह द्वैपायनो मुनिः ॥ स्वेनैवात्मना धार्यत इति स्वधृत उच्यते । कस्मिन् प्रतिष्ठित इति स्वे महिम्नीति वेदतः ॥

Yadyevamayaṃ bhagavān paramātmāsanātanaḥ, Kena dhāryata ityāśaṅkyāha dvaipāyano muniḥ. Svenaivātmanā dhāryata iti svadhr‌ta ucyate, Kasmin pratiṣṭhita iti sve mahimnīti vedataḥ.

By way of removing the doubt as to by whom then He is supported - it is said: He is supported by His own glory so Svadhr‌taḥ.

'स भगवः कस्मिन् प्रतिष्ठित इति; स्वे महिम्नि / Sa bhagavaḥ kasmin pratiṣṭhita iti; sve mahimni' (छान्दोग्योपनिषत् / Chāndogyopaniṣat 7.24.1) -

మానవుడు కేవలం శిరస్సు, అవయవాలు కాదు, అన్ని అవయవాలు కలిసిన మొత్తం కూడా కాదు. మనం కేవలం భౌతిక భాగాలు మాత్రమే కాదు; మనం ఈ కలయికల కంటే కూడా చాలా ఎక్కువ. మానవుడు తన భాగాల యొక్క ఒక మొత్తం కాదు, ప్రాణమున్న జీవి. అలాగే, మనం వేసే చివరి అడుగు మాత్రమే యోగం కాదు, మనం వేసే ప్రతి అడుగు కూడా యోగంలో భాగమే. యోగం తనలో ఉన్న దశల యొక్క ఒక మొత్తం కాదు. కానీ వాటి కలయిక వల్ల వచ్చే ఒక ప్రాణ శక్తి. అనేక భాగాలు కలిసి మనిషిని తయారు చేయవు. యోగం యొక్క అనేక దశలు కలిసి యోగం అవవు. కానీ, అవి ప్రారంభంలో చాలా అవసరం.

🌻 4. Many Parts Put Together do not Make a Human Being 🌻

A human being is not merely the head, nor the limbs, nor even the totality of all the limbs. We are not merely a total of the physical parts; we are something more than these combinations. A human being is not merely a mathematical total, but a vital total. Likewise, not merely the last step that we take, but every step that we take is included in yoga. It is not the mathematical total of these steps that constitutes yoga, but something vital that is present in the combination of the parts. Many parts put together do not make a human being. The many stages of yoga put together do not make yoga, though they are all essential in the beginning.

Therefore, I will try to answer the question “Where is the need for it?” The need, the purpose and the goal are the incentives behind every action. There needs to be a necessity to motivate an action. Yet in many experiences that we have in life, we feel that we are lacking something. Due to this lack, there is often a dissatisfaction in life. We are not satisfied with the daily eating of our meals; we feel that there is something more than merely sustaining ourselves with food.

🌴. మాయ పైన విజయంతో, నిస్సందేహంగా ఒకరు శివుని యొక్క అత్యున్నత స్థితిలోకి ప్రవేశిస్తారు మరియు స్వీయ సహజమైన సత్య జ్ఞానాన్ని (సహజ విద్యను) పొందుతారు. 🌴

మాయచే బంధించబడి ఉన్నందున, సాధకుడు తనలోని స్వాభావిక జ్ఞానం యొక్క పూర్తి సామర్థ్యాన్ని గ్రహించలేడు. ఆపేక్షకుడు మాయ యొక్క ప్రభావాన్ని దాటి వెళ్ళగలిగినప్పుడు, అతను తన నిజమైన జ్ఞానం అనంతం యొక్క విస్తరణ తప్ప మరొకటి కాదని అర్థం చేసుకోగలుగుతాడు. ఈ సూత్రంలో మోహ అంటే విభిన్న తరగతుల జ్ఞానం, ముద్రలుగా ఇప్పటికీ మనస్సులో మిగిలి ఉన్నాయి అని అర్ధం. అనుభవం వల్ల ముద్రలు కలుగుతాయి. ఒక వ్యక్తి తన శారీరక స్పృహలను వేరు చేయగలిగినప్పుడు, అనుభవం వల్ల కలిగే ముద్రలు క్రమంగా తగ్గుతాయి మరియు చివరికి ఎటువంటి ముద్రలూ నిలచి వుండవు.

🌻 3-7. mohajayād anantābhogāt sahajavidyājayah - 2 🌻

🌴. With unquestionable conquest of māya, one enters the supreme state of Shiva and gains true knowledge (sahaja vidya) which is natural to the self. 🌴

The aspirant is not able to realize the full potential of his inherent knowledge, as he is bound by māyā. When the aspirant is able to go past the influence of māyā, he is able to understand that his true knowledge is nothing but the expansion of the Infinite. Moha is this aphorism means any strains of differentiated knowledge still remaining in the mind as impressions. Impressions are caused by experience. When one is able to isolate his bodily consciousnesses, impressions caused by experience gradually get reduced and ultimately leaving no impressions at all.
