The wrestlers that perform are local pros competing for the Manor Medallion. The major prize has a folkloric back story crafted by Smith himself. Kissimmee Lakefront Park: Lake Tohopekaliga

Kissimmee Lakefront Park is a well-known recreational space for modern-day residents and visitors of Kissimmee, Florida. One of the park’s main attractions is the famous Lake Tohopekaliga. In his site analysis report “City of Kissimmee Lakefront Park,” Glatting Jackso Kercher Anglin revealed that in the 1800s, early inhabitants of the lake were Seminoles, a tribe comprised of Native Americans and refugee African American slaves. Orlando Escape’s article “Best reasons to Visit Lake Tohopekaliga Park” revealed that in the language of the Seminoles, “Tohopekaliga” means “we will gather together here.” Nowadays, the lake is referred to as Lake Toho, and many people are unaware of its origins. Lake Toho is one of the largest lakes located in Osceola County, covering approximately 23,000 acres. Visitors of Lakefront frequent the lighthouse walking trail because it provides the most immersive view of the vast lake. Native animals of the lake include but are not limited to alligators, wading birds, otters, turtles, ospreys, bald eagles, crappie, catfish, sunfish, songbirds, bass, and so much more. According to Orlando Bass Guide’s article “About Lake Tohopekaliga,” Lake Toho’s fame mainly derives from its consistent abundance of largemouth bass. Due to this, large fishing tournaments are regularly held at Lakefront. Outside of fishing, the park provides its visitors the flexibility to gather and use the space for various other recreational activities. As a popular community space, many agree that Kissimmee Lakefront Park allows the true meaning of Lake Tohopekaliga’s name to hold true today.

1. Go on a trail buggy adventure at Forever Florida
