NARS Laguna Bronzing Powder Review

this was one of the first bronzers (maybe even the first, i can’t remember) that i ever bought and i fell in love with it immediately and still love it now, years later. i have this bronzer in the shade laguna (it only comes in one other shade, casino, which is only slightly darker, unfortunately) and this shade is a wonderful shade for a bronzer. it never, ever, ever pulls orange yet it also never has the problem of having to build it up and build it up and build it up and still barely seeing any difference. this bronzer is one of those products that just works.

is this my favorite bronzer though? it was, for a long time, especially when it was the only one i owned! haha, but honestly, even though i’ve found bronzers since falling in love with this one that i tend to use more often and prefer, i still find myself coming back to this one on certain days where i just want to go back to what i know works, y’know?

worth repurchasing?

i hit pan on this nars bronzing powder several months ago and now i’m down to the very last bit but i haven’t repurchased it yet. i say ‘yet’ because i know i’m going to, eventually. it’s just one of those products i know i’ll miss when i don’t have it. but it’s kind of also one of those products that’s a bit… boring to buy. like, it’s so easy to fall into the hype and excitement of brand new makeup and everything, so it’s hard to know when’s the best time to go for that new new or repurchase something tried and true.

what’s a product that you know you want to repurchase, but it’s still kind of a boring thing to buy? i hope you get what i mean by that haha! like something that you love but it’s just same old, same old. let me know in the comments!
