Even though I really really want to binge prodigy so badly I am going to limit myself to two episodes a time for my own good ;_; Anyway: thoughts (screams) on episode 1 & 2
I’m so happy to see the kids again!!! Jankom Pog being polite and councillor Noum not knowing how to deal with it!! Rok-Tahk fixing Tribble replication at 8 (9?) years old :’D Zero’s little squeal when they got Janeways message <3 Poor Dal being put in a windowless room and forced to read (surely there's a better way to do this in the 24th century). And oh god, Gwyn.....
The modified Voyager theme music for Voyager-A agahbhhhhhghhhhhhggg I’m smiling so much my face hurts
Voyager-A’s warp core is so pretty, and they have Cetacean ops??? :D
I’m also really loving that they just dump Murf in a random person’s holo battle programme and leave, then leave Zero in a room with a random lady giving birth with 0 preparation. Anyway leaving Zero under the care of the emh was such a good idea, writers! Shame they've left the ship now :')
Can’t wait for when Dal actually reads temporal mechanics 101 and saves everyone’s life just when he sees a detail in the book that everyone else has forgotten about because they were responsible and read it months back.
Solum is such a pretty planet! And past!Diviner has such a cool house. Also I already love this past version of him, so different to The Diviner. What a tragedy that he turned into… that
Also despite this being a kid’s series they really made poor Gwyn watch and hear her crewmate be blown up for the crime of helping her. Nothing ambiguous about that death :(
In that second interaction with the weird anomaly I got the feeling that that might be Dal’s group from the future warning Voyager off?
I think I'll be needing a wibbly wobbly timey wimey graph for future episodes
Man it is so hard to not watch the next episode right now aaarrghh stupid binge model isn’t designed for weak-willed individuals like me

[SPOILERS FOR CHAPTERS 140-150]
It’s very interesting to me how the downfall of the demon aristocracy can be put down to what they didn’t do as much as what they actually did. Their silence and inaction hurt Geelan just as much, if not more, than the punishment they inflicted upon him and his clan.
This is most evident in the relationship between Geelan and the past and present Lord Bayons.
In the flashback, we see Lord Bayon I is the only one to attempt to see the reason in Geelan’s solution to the famine. But it’s only an attempt, and a feeble one at that, easily drowned out by the outraged shouts of his fellow nobles.
Lord Bayon never attempts to raise his voice again, even after Geelan’s rousing speech in favour of helping the citizens. This would be the perfect time to let his voice be heard, to give support, but instead he says nothing and allows Yverk to put an end to the discussion with nothing accomplished to help the situation.
He appears uncomfortable. He agrees with Geelan, or at least sees merit in his argument, but he dares not speak. By failing to speak, he leaves Geelan without any support amongst the nobles, a lone fighter against an immensely powerful group who prioritise their own interests over those of the people.
By isolating Geelan, Bayon unknowingly leaves him open to manipulation and rash decision-making to try and get the change he wants done. And we know how that turned out.
When Geelan learns of the betrayal, particular focus is given to Bayon I.
His face appears troubled, but there he is, all the same, participating with his fellow nobles. He doesn’t like it, yet he tolerates it - and complies with it. Considering his son’s care for his family, it might be right to presume he goes along with the group because he knows what will happen if he doesn’t (see: Geelan’s fate).
However, his inaction causes only more suffering down the road for his family. The emphasis on Bayon in this flashback suggests that Geelan and he were friends. Considering Bayon I introduced his son to Geelan, I’d say it’s highly likely. Bayon II’s respect for Geelan was likely shared by Bayon I.
Even after his supposed betrayal, Bayon II continued to hold that admiration for Geelan’s virtues - something the rest of his peers despised. His father, too, likely held onto these feelings.
They valued justice and compassion, yet when a just and compassionate man was threatened with destruction, what did they do? Bayon II never spoke for Geelan or his clan, never asked for mercy on his behalf, or seemingly did anything at all to avert the tragedy.
Instead, as before, he kept silent, and kept the status quo.
Geelan learned the hard way that even those you consider friends, even those who hold the same principles as you, will cave and fail to put those principles into practise when they are needed most.
Self-preservation, greed - in the end, whatever the reason, Geelan’s fate was sealed.
Bayon II, to his credit, differed from his father in one respect. In front of powerful colleagues holding deeply conflicting mindsets, he dared to speak his mind and share a view he was never supposed to even hold, let alone speak.
As Lord Pupo says here - it is best to shut up and carry on. Keep whatever contrary opinions you have to yourself and do whatever is expected of you. That is what keeps the aristocrats in their positions of comfort and power, what keeps their families and clans safe.
Valuing what Geelan valued equals scorn at best and death and destruction at worst.
Bayon II was at least strong enough to admit his true feelings, but what did he do with those feelings? He, like his father before him, did what was expected of him and followed the queen with the same ‘stiff’ loyalty and devotion his father did.
To a betrayed Geelan, Bayon II was the same as his father. Whatever views he held, whatever he might say behind closed doors, none of it led to meaningful action. None of it helped Geelan when he desperately needed it.
It makes sense, then, that Geelan would place blame for Lady Noum and Lord Bayon II’s deaths on their forebears.
By continuing their parents’ legacy of obedience and silence, both children merely continued the spread and influence of the corruption that plagued their lands, leaving a genuinely noble and just fellow to rot in the wilds. As far as Geelan is concerned, they are all the same.
By the time Bayon II finally found the courage to speak up, it was too late.

I am very interested with your theories about TPN. It is very amazing. About the Normans and Emma of Normandy, it seems that your theory almost confirm based on Posuka Demizu’s Art in her Twitter account. Besides that, there is an Eiffel Tower appears when Emma talked about crossing to human world in Chapter 127 and it had been appeared once or twice in previous chapter. It could be another hint about the Normans since they lived at a northern region in France.
Thank you for the submission @ironthe! Unfortunately the pictures that you tried to include are not showing up for me, not sure why… Can you try to reblog this post with the pictures? I know the manga panels, but I’m not sure which twitter art you mean.
I have tried to answer the rest of your questions below with bold text below each point. I would like to ask about a few questions :
In Chapter 133 (last panel), there are many words written and they are English and Japanese words. This is the first time the series has some Japanese words appear since this anime often uses English words. Could it be an important hint ??? There has been occasionally japanese text in the details before, but it was mainly romaji. I’m not yet sure if it’s something important to note, but yes, it is interesting how almost all text so far has been English, and usually very good English at that. Clearly at least one of the mangaka’s English is very good (I think it is Shirai… I have some suspicions about him that I haven’t been able to share yet due to lack of time).
We learned that Musica’s Blood (as well as her comrades) has the power to stabilise the demon. In chapter 127, Musica and her comrades give the blood to the demon when the demon had famine at that time. Could the situation happens again since Norman wants to destroy remaining farm ??? Well, Emma is kind of aiming for this, but she needs also the demon!God to order the demons not to eat humans. Norman has pointed out that just because you can eat other things, you won’t just stop eating your favourite food just because it asked you nicely. At least, not everyone would. However people do stop eating certain things for religious reasons, so as long as the demon!God is convinced, it will work.
Do you think that James Ratri (William Minerva) has the ally in human world ???? Almost certainly. Otherwise he couldn’t have promised in his recording that someone would be able to take them to the human world from Goldy Pond as long as they contacted the allies. The only other pathways are at the farms, which would have been no goes in his opinion. If my theory is correct about the deep sea, then he probably meant someone sending a submarine to correct the escapees, and you need allies from the human world for that. Also, as a head of the Ratri, he must have had contacts with the human world to manage relations.
When Lord Bayon, Lord Dozza, Lady Noum and the other two does not know about the missing of their predecessors, it clears that Ratri Clan choose for not telling the royals about that. It reminds me when Isabella does not tell about the presence of kid knowing the secret to the higher-up. Why ??? Is it because Goldy Pond actually the secret area since hunting is illegal based on the promise ??? Erm, I am fairly sure that only Lord Bayon is new, and Lord Dozza and Lady Noum are the same, and Luce, Nous and Nouma killed at Goldy Pond were their children. However, I think the Ratris would have told the families what happened, but the families can’t tell the queen, since it would probably bring shame on them for their family members doing illegal activities. So I think they would try to keep it shushed up at least at a royal audience.
About Phil, I am actually sad when you theories that he wil die base d on the Reference. Sometimes, I think that Phil has critical injuries. It makes the story becomes tragic and give more effect to the character. Yes, I feel sad about Phil’s possible death, but I agree that it would be good drama, and character development source for the others, and it would drive the plot forward. Having a loss like that would also make the threat level in the manga a lot more realistic, and remind us that the lives of these kids really hang in the balance, and they won’t all just be protected with plot and popularity armour. Makes the story a lot more nerve-wracking and intense.
That’s all from me. I am sorry if my English is bad.

@the-lady-general
I LOVE this comment - while Janeway will be a sorta-antogonist for this part of the season, I'd love it if Dr. Noum and the Andorian were just like:
"Well. Guess we're Dads now."
I'm especially looking forward to this guy finally showing up, he looks really cool.
