Biana screams, her face twisting in pain as she reaches a hand out of the flames, grasping for my hand. I grab onto her and pull, sparks flying in my hair and catching my cape on fire. I shriek as the flames eat at my back, but I keep pulling. After a moment, the smoke chokes me and I let go of Biana’s hand. 

She screams, a long, wordless shriek of agony. Blisters erupt along her bare arm and the side of her neck. I nearly vomit, but there is too much smoke and ash in my throat. I blink rapidly, and when I open my eyes again I have lost sight of Biana. 

Fitz is nearby, attempting to rescue Dex from the boulder he’s caught under. His pant leg is on fire. Dex’s face is bloody and there is a gash on his shoulder, the sleeve ripped. Dex’s leg is caught under the boulder and the fire is creeping closer.

Fitz! I transmit.

He looks up, snapping his head around to meet my eyes.

Use telekinesis!! Fitz nods and turns back to Dex. My bare feet pound on the gry grass beneath me splinters embedding themselves in my toes as I run.

Tam is battling with a figure in a black cloak. Linh is trapped under a force field, and I can see her trying to draw water outside of the glowing dome. Five ogres surround Sandor and Grizel so I turn towards them, flinging goblin-throwing stars from my cape pockets. I knock down two of the ogres, and now I can see Sandor and Grizel back to back with their swords raised. They seem like they can handle it, so I keep running. The fire is at my back now, red-hot and towering over me. 

Nearby, Wylie is battling Gethen, but he seems to be losing. I pull Hope from her sheath and charge into the battle. Wylie is flashing a beam of bright purple light into Gethen’s eyes, so I take advantage of the momentary distraction and stab Gethen’s arm. I wince a little when I see the blood, but I am used to violence by now. 

It’s always there, hiding in the shadows. We’ve been at war with the Neverseen for almost two years, and this is one of our most deadly skirmishes. Fintan sparked the Everblaze while we were all assembled in the Black Swan’s newest hideout. So much for that. 

The hideout is surely burned to the ground by now, and Fintan seems to have escaped. Gethen, Vespera, Trix, Umber, Brnt, Lady Gisella, and dozens of other black-cloaked figures are fighting against the collective and a few other elves I haven’t met yet, about twenty gnomes, fifteen goblins, four trolls, and thirty dwarves are all here fighting with my friends and me. I haven’t seen Mr. Forkle yet, so I decide to look for him. 

I close my eyes, the sounds of screams and shouts and metal against metal clanging together and the fire popping and sparking in the distance. I tune all of that out, concentrating on the sounds of thoughts instead. 

This is it. That’s Tam. I keep searching. 

Where is Dex?! Juline’s panicked thoughts are so clear. Sharp and piercing my brain.

GRIZEL!! Sandor is distraught, the image of Grizle with a deep gash in her side blaring into my mind. I hold back tears, but I can’t give up. Mr. Forkle is so important, he can’t be dead. 

What about Keefe? I shove the thought back. I don’t have time to think about his betrayal right now. Finally, I catch a whisper: I wish my brother was here.

Mr. Forkle had a twin brother, but he died in the collapse of Lumenaria a few years ago. Months later, Keefe disappeared; and the only sign of him was the note I found next to Iggy’s cage. The memory of That Day resurfaces and I am thrown into the past.

I have just gotten home from a particularly awkward meeting with the Black Swan. I burned down the Neverseen’s storehouse, but basically no one was pleased with that. I shove my frustrations aside and grab a ripplefluff before heading upstairs.

When I enter my room, I tense. There are footprints on my flowery rug, and Iggy is a different color. He has stripes of teal and blue and purple and pink now, and –I rush closer to his cage– there is a note held under the corner of the cage. I read it, my worry increasing with every word.

Ladies and gentlemen The winner of the 55th hunger games, Gisella Carmine

She woke up gasping, the now cold bath water splashed onto the tile floor, the sun was high in the sky, afternoon, the reaping. Swearing she climbed from the tub and wrapped herself in a towel. The night before the games always left her with little sleep, at one point she gave up and ran a bath. 

It wouldn’t be long until the cameras and the people arrived in the square, Haymitch would need waking from his white liquor induced sleep. 

Reaping days were the hardest days to get through, for both of them. Haymitch drank and forgot. She cooked and she baked and she tried to forget.

A dress had been sent days before, every year a new dress would come and once she reached the capitol, a whole closet  awaited her. The dress hung from the curtain rail in her room. A golden collar embedded with gems and diamonds looping to make open shoulder sleeves, the dress was made from red velvet and hit the floor.

She ran her fingers through her hair, detangling the curls until they looked good enough for all the eyes of the capitol to see. The bags under her eyes disappeared after she rubbed some of the magic cream the capitol sent. 

As she passed the downstairs toilet, she heard Haymitch heave and cough, his skin was pale and wet. Carefully she knelt beside him, even more careful not to get anything on her dress. She laid her hand on his forehead, “It’s almost time”.

Haymitch wobbled back on to his ass, his back against the wall, he reached inside his dressing gown pocket for his flasks, he took one big gulp, “nice dress”.

Gisella rolled her eyes, taking the flasks from him, swallowing a mouthful, it burnt all the way down and sat in her empty stomach unhappily, then she took another drink. Normally she never drank, but when the games began things were different.

“How long do we have?” he asked, slowly standing. “Five minutes maybe? Not long enough to shower” she laughed, standing too.

“Enough to drink” he smiled sluggishly and took the flask back. 

She went into the kitchen and made herself eat some bread she had brought from the baker the day before, it helped settle the nervous waves cursing through her body.

It would be a waste to try and get Haymitch to eat so she left him be and waited.

Haymitch was late.

Mayor Undersee and Effie Trinket, murmured to each other, worried about the missing mentor. Gisella kept her eyes forward, blocking them out. Looking to all the faces of the children dreading the moment she would send two in the games. 

The clock hit two and the mayor began his usual speech, about the history of panem and how things ended the way they were today. From the uprising, to the fighting and finally ‘the peace’. The peace of course being the games. Then he reads the list of district 12 winners, only two are living. To her right, Gisella hears Haymitch mumble and wobbles up the steps. She fixed on her seats as he fell into his.

He looked confused when the crowd applauded at his name,he threw his arms around Effie, who barely managed to get away from him. All of Panem will carry on seeing 12 as a laughingstock. Haymitch as the same old drunk and Gisella as the one who does all the work.

Mayor Undersee took his seat again, then the pink haired Effie rose and took to the centre of the stage. If Gisella had to guess, Effie was looking to step up to bigger and better districts, 12 is the bottom of the pile. 

Old memories flash in her mind, wishing she drank more in the morning, she looked past the square, past the people and to the green hills outside the districts and remembered happier times with her grandfather.

In 1807, Viktoria’s husband Prince  Heinrich died. Gustaf was proclaimed Hereditary Prince of Rostock as the new heir. Could you make a list of your 10 favorite Romance club love interests?

So Anon. I made the list. And as usual imma explain each choice of mine. And mainly i will take stories that have ended except for 2 of them. My rating is my taste so the main rating is How entertaining was it ? Did I get bored ? Did I think of never finishing this book ? Did I like the characters ? Was my female LI interesting ? And yes stories who haven't ended do get points taken away. Did I laugh out loud while reading it ? Did It take long for me to end the book ? Did I like the plot ? Did I give a fuck about the characters's fates ? Did I spend money ? Did i do it on DR ? Can I say to someone a part of the book I liked WITHOUT searching it up ?

Also Did I need the walkthrough ?

All this contributes to the list below. Again this as an Female LI romancer specifically. It was a time before slots. So i am judging specifically how much entertainment was I getting despite My LI not being here at all cause every female LI here is sidelined as usual.

1- Arcanum. Argue with the wall, Mary's route was a good 9/10, Alice was cooking and serving I did like the change of ambiance compared to season 1. Because despite the weak ass season 2 we had our moments and Selena's obsession with bridges...Incredible I would have liked a longer season 3 cause what do you mean it was all connected ? Also the fucking horses. Selena is such a delight because she is a RED FLAMING FLAG. No need for a red flag LI with her ass and yet they delivered Mary. No one could beat that in FLI (Xantheia enters the chat) I would like to remove my previous statement about no competition.

2. Heaven secret 1. I know. I know. But in my defense *pulls out Mimi out of a comically small bag* This fine lady was in here. Also the plot...Is funny, the main character was hilarious and very bold. The team of friends "Adi and Sammy" were a delight. Lucifer was an asshole but what's new. Fencio...Well I am mad we couldn't kill the man. I was on demon's path and i really liked it. Also the fact we killed Malbonte with his own power. Not bad for a gal who has an art degree at best. Bravo Victoria.

9.65/10. Because Alice is homophobic. I am not forgiving you for Austie not being in the li roster woman. Also for robbing us of Bont. I am still mourning.

3. Exceptionnaly I'm going to add a story that hasn't ended yet but to me it's the same as if it is cause it's just too good. Path of Valkirye. God damn. It would have beaten HS1 by a fucking landslide had the author stayed the same. In fact it could have beaten everyone if it wasn't for the fact the author changed unfortunately. The Loyd route ? Hmhm. Finger licking good. The plot ? 10. The characters ?8. Loki and the blod guy are here. I did like the blonde gal and the one episode we had of jealousy because I was romancing both at the same time. Also Loyd carrying me like a sack of potato. That is all I ever wanted.

And she is litterally HOT, 9.55555555/10

4-HOT. Now. I know what you're thinking but in my defense. Gisella is the GOAT. MVP. Hell yes. She is an icon and she is the moment. Except for her weird fart joke accolyte. I forgot his name fuck that guy. She was the real one her route is a 10. Simply for how long the episodes are. But there is no plot holes at all. None. I did hate the interlude had the most interesting moments. And also rare book where you can shoot a man in the balls with a fucking arrow.

8.5/10. Yes i did include the weird SA jokes in the grade but we can shoot a man in the balls. It kinda evens out. If we could have shot more people (including the people who were trying to SA) I would have made it a 9.

5. Vying for Versailles. Maria Theresa. For short we call her MT. The plot is cool but god damn you need the walkthrough for this book. Like oof. But i loved the characters loved the accurate ass historical representation of Louis xiv cause yes as a french we all knew that guy sucked MASSIVE ass in a bad way. I do love the book made him the town bycycle by how many women were passing through.

Hated we couldn't kill the guy but they DARED let me the option to kill my queen ? Fuck you author. I am meeting you in the parking lot for that one. Square up. Oh and I am doing that for Bonne too. This was a hate crime. Loved the happy ending, loved the vibe, I surprisingly liked the religious talk, mainly because I am fine praying with Maria Theresa yeah I am converted this is my religion now, if it gives me an excuse to have more time with her. I am still beating your ass.

8.25/10, the bonus point was cause I am french. Also louis's mom had got it going ON !

6 .Heaven Secret 2 : Yes. Yes yes. Yes. I know. I know. I know. I know. I never said my taste were immaculate. I can enjoy a shitshow when I see one cause this was Shepha's goofiest ass apocalypse I ever seen.

The chaos was worth every diamond. The goofy ass reveal of Vicky's true power. The reveal of Mammon dying a second time just to go "Psych ! Still alive." Eliza. Lord above. Mimi you lucky your mom ain't an LI. Austie's dad...Being a bad father ? Please this was not a reveal, you look at Austie three minutes and you can tell she has a difficult relationship with her parents.

I am mad we didn't see her more by the way.

The Mother of life was...Well she was not giving Mother, she was giving Cunt Slay Wine Aunt. Good for her is all I am saying but huh the sprite was not it. War was...Well i killed him. I am mad we didn't kill or fuck Plague. Yes I am one of these peoples. Sue me.

And the CG for Mimi were highly AI generated. The wedding and the last one. Like hm. But Mimi saved this book for me despite her change of sprite, and her weird decision to try become an actress and I am over here like "But you said back 10 years ago that....You know what ? Sure. I'll watch you with pleasure." . She was everything and it took me 5 episodes to love HS2. Can't wait for HS3. Now the rating is low. What would have upgraded immediately the rating ? Let me kill Rebecca in the finale battle. Let me do it. Why you cockblock me. Why are you a misogyn Alice ?

7. Rage of Titans. Now. I love greek mythology. I love that shit. Love Hercules. This book was supposed to be ranked higher but the plot was all over the place but the endings were a chief kiss in comparison. The female LI was good except for her change of personality...Well more like gain of a personality because until the reveal of they are Gods she was bland. Another book where the brother dies. Frankly heh. Aphrodite's route got a CG my lord. A cg like hmmmm. Also any book that lets me insult Zeus scott free gets my vote also...There were very funny background moments. I don't remember his name but one of sprite is so funny in season 3 the demi son of zeus. Good story too bad for the weird plot definitely needed another season and more then 1 female LI.

Anyway 7/10

8.Ok so. Another story that hasn't ended yet. But overall it is one of the rare stories where I don't really have a bad opinion of it. But I don't have either a strong love for it but I would say it fits here for me and my taste. W time catcher. So the book is solid. Again well Fantasy and I. Love story. Main female LI. She is MILF. Love the diverse cast no sprite looks like the others. The MC is super interesting. The only person I don't like of the squad and that's why i don't love the story much is the nonbinary pal with the pink streak in his hair. I don't really care about him but that's a me issue. The plot is bland in my opinion but again I prefer books who are very chaotic and have tons of comedy. WTC fits ONE criteria. The comedy is here it is funny. So I am giving a

6.6669/10 for now when the story ends I am pretty sure I will rate it differently.

9. Gladiator Chronicles. I like swords. I like gladiators. I like killing people. I like blood. So why is not higher in the classement ? Well the plot kinda...Huh. exploded like the death star. Augusta became sidelined somehow and did went through a personality change. Which we can't say the same about her brother. Fuck that guy. Nor her sister miss Delias 2.0. The ending was good and I had the meme "Oh Hi mark." On repeat. 6/10

10. Flower of Tiamat fire. Ok so. I like magic. I love fantasy. I love random fantastical animals. I loved the plot. I loved the side characters. Fuck Niall though, Hate the man. It was a guaranteed hit for me. Loved the story. It took only 2 days DR for me to finish it that's how good I was having it. I was buying them tea cups like it was black friday. The mother of Life ??? BITCH SHE WAS GIVING MOTHER OF LIFE ! Also the chaos energy thingy loved that plot line. Now though, why is it not in top 5 ? Despite all my praises ? Well IT WAS in the top 5. Until. Sue's ending ? I am mad. Very mad. Extremely mad even. This is me going "We were rooting for you, WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU ! HOW DARE YOU ?!" level of indignation. Author this was worse then just being homophobic. This was a total let down. I never been more mad in my life of a fucking ending especially how the route was built up. Like damn. I spent my money on this and THIS is the thanks I get ? I hope every water you drink always taste bad and you can never smell food, get out my house. 5/10. My disapointement is immeasurable and my week was ruined.

she has age on her side, she’s smart and learns fast. she can and will fight you with both magic and her own fists. has learned several martial arts, used to be a street kid who was later trained by none other than Rex Brokenshire ( @cursebreakerfarrier​ ) himself so uh... that’s a no for me kwsnwjkd 

2. nilufer sultan 

bro i mean... her father’s the freaking sultan!!! and though she’s not that powerful in the harem or the hierarchy, she has servants and many pasas willing to send executioners to your room. she’s, after all, a sultana by blood. her wishes are orders, including killing you. 

3. blanche dubois 

i mean, she’s a dragonologist!! i wouldn’t want to fuck with a woman who only needs to say the word and her dragons will burn you alive. besides, she can and will fight you and probably win so uh... another no for me 

4. delphine vixen 

she’s from a powerful and dangerous family, from the og Phoenix Resistance, escaped Voldemort and trained by Alastor Moody himself, as well as being an excellent fighter of martial arts in her own right, delphine makes it to the list of un-fuckable character 

5. lady primrose gray 

the queen herself, she’s friends with a freaking royal prince, a 700 yo vampire and her husband’s an earl, but what makes her powerful is her own lineage: she’s skilled in wandless magic, has the smarts, wits and bravery, as well as a sense of duty and will do anything to keep her birthright. duelled a powerful duke and won with a freaking longsword, not to mention she always gets what she wants and becomes a powerful woman on her own right, primrose is in the un-fuckable list 

6. cecilia balinor 

from a powerful pureblooded family, she becomes a powerful and dangerous hit witch and feared by many. she’s got knowledge of ancient magic so uh... another no for me 

7. marcellus thorne 

an influential socialite, he has enough money to either have you silent or gone from the country, he has the perfect contacts to end you. he’s also a very skilled duellist so... another no for me 

8. adonis demiurgos 

a champion dueller, he doesn’t like violence... but will do what it takes for his loved ones, and has that gryffindor bravado so... another nope for me 

9. lihuan wei 

she’s a freaking samurai, and so was her father, who’s a friend of the Chinese emperor and can and will cut you in half... ten years with the female samurais is no joke. another nope for me 

10. atticus demiurgos-kennedy 

the son of adonis, he’s x10 times smarter than anybody, ambitious and his wife is the magiens magister, who’s also a skilled witch. i pity you if they team up to kill you... another no for me 

11. elodie dubois 

one of the first to resist voldemort, she knew him personally and is a doctor... she doesn’t only know how to fix you, she also knows how to break you to the point of rendering you useless for anything, and her temper is no joke and is also a niece of blanche so uh... nope thanks smwjd

12. brunhilda of cologne 

one of salazar’s most powerful allies, she’s got knowledge and skill from very ancient magic, is the ancestor of blanche and elodie, she doesn’t need a wand to effing destroy you and have breakfast with your bones. another nope for me 

13. semele thorne 

descendant of marcellus, she’s very rich and popular, and knows everyone’s business, so she’ll know everything about you in no time, and will destroy you with that. she also is an skilled dueller and fighter so that’s a nope for me 

14. lennox arcano-thorne 

the fact that she’s an arcano makes her dangerous, but also a daughter of semele?? boy you’re done. because she’s a necromancer and the moment she rips off her gloves, you’re done for. another nope for me 

15. ernest di napoli 

last but not least, mr di napoli here used to be italian nobility, is a skilled dueller who kicked his father’s ass out of the country in a very difficuly duel, is an athlete and rich enough to end you himself.

Chapter 4: Hollow's Eve

Synopsis: A day in the life of Eve.

Eve looked over the results of the day's heists. Jewelry, cash, designer clothing, even a few credit cards. She was proud of how the Railyard Ghouls outdid themselves each time. Who needed a group of elite, experienced henchmen when you had highly creative teenage girls?

"D' y' like it, Miss Eve?" LeighAnne, one of the Ghouls, asked. She was a young girl who had an obsession with vampires to the point where she wore fake teeth. "We worked really hard this time."

"I do. Ya girls did a good job." Eve set the gains aside for later.

It was just her and the girls since Hollow was on the run. Almost a month since his disappearance and authorities had no luck tracking him down. No matter what methods they employed, capturing the elusive fugitive seemed like a fever dream.

Not like Eve would tell them anything, either.

"We woulda got more if it weren't for that one girl that snake hired," Hortencia, another Ghoul, scoffed. She was around the same age as LeighAnne and the others as well as the leader of the Railyard Ghouls. "The hell was her name again?"

"Barracuda?" Eve replied.

"No, she got a new one. I'll think of her name later."

The snake in question was a woman who went by the name Diamondback, one of--if not the biggest--crime bosses in the South.

For years, a feud raged between Hollow and Diamondback. Everything started when she used his railroads to move her products. Diamondback bombed the tracks when the authorities tried to stop her. Hollow didn't like that. Not only was she on his turf, but also destroying tracks he worked so hard to lay.

As revenge, Hollow and the Railyard Ghouls attacked her trains ending in them either destroying or stealing her cargo. It filled him with delight everytime a train of hers went back to her empty.

In retaliation, Diamondback hired a woman named Barracuda, a former vigilante from Oaklahoma, to guard her contraband. Everything about her was more fearsome than her boss. From the way she carried herself to the violence from her hand. Rumor had it she shot her own sister and left her for dead.

Barracuda proved to be trouble for both Hollow and the Ghouls.

The recent battle was the reason he went on the run. Eve remembered it well. The plan was spectacular on paper but in person was even better. It ended with Barracuda getting shot in the chest twice at point blank range, the blown up train on fire, and several cops dead or injured. Better than fireworks in her opinion.

Many thought robberies by the Railyard Ghouls would stop with Hollow's absence. He always allowed them to escape so the police couldn't arrest them. Reporters called them a group of meek little wannabes.

Unfortunately, the Ghouls proved to be a force with or without Hollow. To deepen the wound, those same reporters were some of the Ghouls' latest victims.

"Yall want some seafood boil?"

The girls rushed to the kitchen. They sat at the table excited for Eve's signature dish. Scents of cajun and spicy garlic filled the air, the girls talked among themselves about the latest trends, celebrity gossip, and all the other things teen girls talked about.

"You done anything interesting, Miss Eve?" Gisella, another Ghoul, asked.

"I joined a support group for women married to villains." Eve stirred the pot. "Found them on Facebook."

The girls were interested. Eve never really talked about her personal life beyond her relationship with Hollow so news like this was very welcome.

"Are they also villains?" Hortensia asked.

"Nope. Most of 'em are regular ole ladies. You'd be surprised at some of the names I done heard in the meetings." Eve added the finishing touches to her seafood boil. She let it sit for a few minutes to really let the flavor get in there.

In the meantime, she talked some more about the support group. The girls listened with curiosity as she described a few of the members.

"Then there's Brandice. She's one of them hippies."

"Does she live in a camper?"

"She does sometimes with her husband. And you wanna know who that is?"

"Probably some hippie guy gone bad." LeighAnne giggled. Her joke elicited laughter from the others including Eve herself.

"Or maybe a biker. Hippies used to love those guys." Gisella giggled.

"Close. It's Rainbow Raider." Eve pulled out a big spoon to make each girl a plate. Once done, she handed the Ghouls their dinner before making herself some.

"He fights one of them Justice Leaguers. The red one that goes fast."

Hortensia sucked her teeth as she stood up to get a soda out the fridge. "That ain't too specific, Miss Eve. A lot of 'em are red and go fast."

"Is he a thief?" Tia, the last Ghoul, asked in between eating.

Eve poured herself a cup of sweet tea. "I wouldn't know. All I know is that Brandice seems to be a nice lady. A schoolteacher."

The rest of dinner was spent talking about the Ghouls' personal lives and gossip.

Later that night before Eve went to bed, she decided to go on a walk not too far from her home. Though she'd long gotten used to Hollow's absences, she still missed him. Just because they were frequent didn't make them easier.

Guess I'll see you soon, sugah, Eve thought to herself as she returned.

Verona, "Musica nei quartieri" porta Swing e Jazz al Castello di Montorio, al Forte Gisella e al Teatro Camploy. Tre serate coinvolgenti con colonna sonora il swing e il jazz in altrettante location suggestive di Verona, per trascorrere piacevoli momenti all’insegna dell’aggregazione e il divertimento. È stata presentata oggi in Sala Arazzi “Musica nei Quartieri”, iniziativa promossa dall’assessorato al Decentramento del Comune di Verona con tre spettacoli musicali gratuiti intitolati “Gent, Ladies and love... for Swing”, che si terranno al Castello di Montorio, al Forte Gisella e al Teatro Camploy. Sul palco la Basin Street Band, un’orchestra composta da 22 elementi tra fiati, sezione ritmica e tre voci, due femminili e una maschile, per dare vita ad una performance con momenti di coinvolgimento del pubblico, che sarà dunque parte attiva e non solo semplice spettatore.   Far vivere e conoscere i quartieri  “È un’iniziativa importante – ha detto l’assessore al Decentramento Federico Benini – perché permette di far vivere e conoscere i nostri quartieri attraverso un’altra parte del nostro patrimonio musicale. Ad arricchire i tre concerti saranno tre splendide cornici della nostra città particolarmente interessanti e distanti tra loro. Ringrazio le Circoscrizioni che si sono impegnate a promuovere questa proposta che sarà sicuramente di sicuro interesse per tutti i cittadini veronesi”. In scaletta ci saranno brani storici dei principali interpreti come Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Peggy Lee, ma anche poco noti, che hanno fatto la storia musicale italiana, o che sono anche stati tradotti in inglese ed interpretati da artisti di calibro mondiale. Tra i momenti clou ci sarà un omaggio a Tony Bennett, scomparso lo scorso 21 luglio, due settimane prima di compiere 97 anni.   Tre concerti Il primo appuntamento sarà domenica 10 settembre alle 21 al Castello di Montorio,  che si potrà raggiungere già dal mattino per trascorrere una giornata all’aria aperta facendo pic-nic grazie anche alla gestione delle associazioni Amici Ecomuseo Preafita e Due Valli con un punto di ristoro. Secondo appuntamento giovedì 14 settembre alle 21 al Forte Gisella, in via Mantovana, 117, un altra location ormai molto frequentata e cara ai veronesi per i tanti eventi che vengono proposti durante l’estate. La rassegna si chiuderà sabato 30 settembre alle 21 al Teatro Camploy, unica data al chiuso tra le tre in programma. Basin Street Band È una formazione musicale nata nel 2000 su iniziativa di un gruppo di amici musicisti, appassionati di musica jazz e swing. L’orchestra s’ispira alle Big Band americane del passato di musica jazz da quella di Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman alle Big Band più recenti come quella di Maynard Ferguson. Il gruppo è composto dalla sessione fiati dei sax, delle trombe e dei tromboni e dalla sezione ritmica con piano, batteria, contrabbasso, chitarra e da tre splendide voci, una maschile e due femminili.
