Labraid Loingsech the semi-historic figure had a severely fucked up childhood so I've always been super overprotective of him as a fictional character, and I've always thought it was really unfair that he became "the king with donkey's ears", he didn't deserve that, according to the annals he was a good and just king who probably didn't execute barbers. if we really need it to be a Leinster king then it should be Diarmait Mac Murchadadh because that stupid idiot basically caused the beginning of England's colonization of Ireland all because he was selfish and deemed unfit to rule by his people and wouldn't accept their decision
