Friday Afternoon Cuddles

I just threw up like half-a-tashcan worth and now I'm stuck with vomit stench in my room from missing the bucket 😭

Anyway, to help myself calm down before I sleep I decided to think up more "What animal vibes do Zenless Zone Zero characters give off?"

This should also help me for the next time I get artblock (I can't do human fanart... but I can do animals! So maybe?)

Anyway. Everything is under the cut!

Nicole Demara: Nicole would be a chihuahua. Very big, 'I'm better than you' type-of attitude, and.... I think it's just her expression for her on-field opening appearance. She's so goofy! Such a silly!

Koleda Belobog: A lion (female lions can in fact have manes if they have enough testosterone.)

Ben Bigger: A capybara.

Soldier 11: A wolf.

Anby Demara: A wolf that split from her pack to go it alone for a while, before establishing her own with Nicole.

Billy Kid: A bald eagle. Mostly because they pretend to sound much cooler than they are by using sounds that come from red-tailed hawks.

Anton Ivanov: Guinea pig.

Zhu Yuan: A bumblebee. Hardworking when on duty, but stops working when the lights grow dim/when off-duty. Also there's probably a beehind joke or something, but I don't want to make it.

Seth Lowell: Bulldog, or Boston terrier. Morally good with a heart of gold, but makes goofy faces, is impossible to take seriously, and, unlike other, much smarter dogs like the Labrador or Golden Retreiver, is low-matenience and easy to entertain. Very simple lil guy.

Qingyi: An incredibly old Terrible Terror from How To Train Your Dragon. Non-real animal, in which there's an abundance of. I could also argue pidgeon.

Corin Wikes: Groundhog. Prey animal (nervous by nature), and unknowingly does damage with sharp weapons (teeth).

Caesar: Horse. Protects her herd, fast motorcycle, and seems to be a social, reliable leader when off the job.

Burnice: Bruce the bear from the children's book Big Bad Bruce, by Bill Peet. In the Outer-Ring's trailer she burns a lizard for pure amusement. If not this very specific character, she's a cocker spaniel.

Lucy: Pufferfish? Porcupine? Red panda? Idk, but angry and will try to look large, even though she's not much of a threat. Preferably something agile with a short temper, and non-bulky.

Piper: Sloth or koala.

Lighter: Red-tailed hawk.

Belle: Curious, overly playful 3-8-month old black/tortishell kitten. Or a ferret.

Wise: The kind of cat that naps in the sun everyday, acts annoyed with the playful kitten/ferret, but easily gets roped into playing with her.

So for a while I didn’t want to get a dog because he would be antisocial and only tolerate country living. Then I realized that’s pretty much me so I should start opening up to the idea of getting a dog.

Here’s my list of dog breeds I’m considering:

-Golden Retreiver

-Labrador

-Corgi

-Cane Corso

-Belgian Malinois

Now obviously the last two are very different than the first three. I’ve had a Cane Corso with an ex and they’re incredibly loyal and protective. I have often considered what I’d do if some tweakers showed up with a pitt or something.. a Corso would dispose of them quickly.

A Belgian would love the space I have out here, and the amount of walking I do for work. I worry that a Belgian would cause problems in the few hours I’m gone at FedEx.

Corgis can be a handful but we had one when I grew up - Zoe. I think a corgi would be exceptionally happy here. I’m not looking for a guard dog - I would prefer a dog that barks when people come around the farm.

Lab and Golden are just chill dogs. Great last day pot farmer dogs. I’d hope that they’d bark if strangers came around but their breeds are not known for this.

dylan said he sent u my drawings of sam rami spiderman as furries but ignoring that imagine if spiderman was a furry comic what animals would the characters be?(pick whatever characters u like) i had parker as a labrador retreiver because of his sad dog behavior. i like animal symbolism

i'm not a furry myself so i fear i don't have the knowledge needed for philosophical musings of this caliber... flash would be one of those awesome big dogs everyone thinks are mean but are actually very sweet like a pittie or a rottweiler. ok every time i try to think of any other animal that exists all i see are the girl chipmunks from alvin and the chipmunks so i think that's all i got

Of your boys who is a dog person and who is a cat person?

This is tough, I love it.

Sonny Carisi: screams dog person to me. Dogs are much more demonstrative with their affection, which would fit Sonny well, and I can totally see him going on runs with a dog, then curling up on the couch together. A Golden Retreiver or Labrador or something.

Rafael Barba: begrudgingly a cat person. He doesn't strike me as somebody who likes pets? (his suits are too immaculate for there to be anything shedding anywhere near them) but I could see him accidentally and begrudgingly becoming a cat dad when a stray takes a liking to him.

Nick Amaro: another dog person. They're more companionable than cats, and Nick has an empty house most of the week without his kids; I feel like he'd appreciate the company?

Frederick Chilton: I think he probably grew up around dogs (see headcanons in prev. works about him coming from serious old money). So I don't think he'd want a pet, but he'd begrudgingly get a dog if his SO desperately wanted a pet.

Joel Miller: I can see him preferring dogs, but pre-Cordyceps, I could actually see him and Sarah having a cat? They're less needy than dogs, so it'd fit in with their lifestyle better, given Joel and Sarah are out of the house for most of the day.

Miguel Galindo: like Frederick, probably doesn't want either, but would probably cave on a dog for his SO or Cristóbal. Especially if it's a bigger, traditional-guard dog breed.

all practically ran from teh door, yelling rushed thank you’s at him. Crowley laughed, laving enjoyed that class, as for more than half of it, Him and his year 13’s were having a discussion on what they though angels would look like to be able to survive as high up as they suppossedly did. They had all decided on very large oxygen tanks. Crowley made his way through the courtyard of the school, pausing at the staffroom for Pepper, who he was taking out for lunch, just like they did every second wednesday. “Crowley!” pepper said, as she walked alongside him “Are you coming to Samaels with Adam and i?” Crowely groaned, running a hand through his long hair, “ugh- is hastur going?” “Nope” pepper replied, sitting herslf down in the passenger seat of crowley’s car. “I guess i am going then, arn’t i” Pepper nodded, resting her feet on the dashboard “where to today, anthony?” The two decided on a classic. A small cafe, unbeknownst to almost all of the civilians, named ‘Apple and Serpent’ Crowley ordered his usual, a large black coffee, and pepper ordered a milkshake. “You’re a child”  crowley laughed as their waiter brang the order to tehir table “At least i  have good taste. Who drinks a black coffee at 1 in the afternoon?” “Me, that’s who you cheeky-” “Laungage!” pepper snorted, “so- mr ‘ive got such a good coffee selection-” (crowley rolled his eyes at her. Hard. she just smirked.) “what do you think of the new teacher at sameals?” “What do i think of him?” crowley asked, raising an eyebrow “pepper, i havent even met this man” “He is your type though” “How do you know my type? I dont even have a type, pepper” “Yes-yes you do” she told him “you are the classic Black cat. You eiether need a golden reteiver or an orange cat” “Are- pepper are you telling me you want me to buy another pet? I have 2 dogs alr-” Pepper groaned, loudly “you need to- my god anthony you are a boomer” “Augh” he said, faking offence “i am Not I thank you very much,  i was born in 1990!” “Old” Crowley rolled his eyes again “why do i need a labrador and a hamster?” “You are deaf as well, then” “Why, pepper, enlighten me” A black cat, pepper explained to him, as tehy left the cafe, adn on their drive back to school, was someone who kept to themselevs, was a ‘loner’ and typically wore black clothing. Crowley saw how that waas him. A golden retreiver, was ‘the happiest person in the world’ pepper said. ‘Always happy, always active, optimist’ crowley definetly wass not that. And apparently a orange cat was just a pshyco. Pepper told him, that poeple online often ship what’s called a black cat x golden retrevier, where one person is ‘goth’ and the other is ‘very cheery’; and what not. Crowley was impartial to this idea, not really ahving tha much of an opinion on it, since the only relationship he had ever been in was with someone he didnt even know what happened to them. And that was when he was 18, and just figuring out that he was gay, genderfluid and wanted to be a teacher, not an artist. Once the school day had finally come to an end, crowley dragged himself home, and changed into his work clothes, a plain black shirt and pants. Yes, he had a part time job, but he felt he needed to support his neice Angel as she started law school as sa favour for his older sister, Daisy who had helped him more time than he could count. So, crowley had become a chef. He had worked up his ranks, and was now head chef at a local sushi restaurant ‘家’ or ‘Home’ in english. And sometimes, he worked the till if business was slow.  Luckily, the sushi place was moderately busy on teh best days, so most of the time it was him talking with his colleagues and teh regulars. His coworker, Abby, was the only otehr one on tonight as the shop was slow, and they both had the late night shift. The bell tinkled as their last scheduled regular entered to shop “hey azira” crowley said, from behind the till. Their regular, and crowley’s favourite, Mr. Azira fell entered the shop, wearing the same matching beige waistcoat suit and brown shoes that he wore day in, day out
