fucking drives me up the wall seeing american transport projects be like 'our stations take ages to complete and theyre expensive :(' meanwhile theyre massively oversized in ways that dont increase capacity/throughput and make poor use of the space theyre using. if youre building with TBM/NATM and your station looks like it was built cut and cover that is Not a good thing. Looking at you Second Avenue Subway
#if theyd built it like london paris china (their construction is incredibly standardised) etc do their deep level stations#then it would have not cost nearly as much and far less below ground real estate would be wasted#kind of applies to a lesser extent to LA regional connector#however at least that its necessary and actually feels futureproof#even if it has a lot of inefficacies in its design

Hi Gina about the shoes being left I remember reading an article where Lisa Vanderpump said that her house was next to that house of Harry’s in LA and that she was disappointed when it went up for sale, because he had never actually moved into it. She said she was looking forward to tunneling over to his house. If he never moved in, its not likely any shoes were left.
