[Offer] - for the vampire starters
Enjolras looked up at the quiet offer, studying Grantaire's face for too long of a moment, before turning away with a shake of his head. "N-no. No thank you." He gulped. He needed it, and he knew that he did. His throat burned with thirst, and his eyes were dark, not even transitioning back to their usual blue, but he wasn't going to use him like this. He couldn't hurt him like this. He meant too much, even if Enjolras knew the other man couldn't, wouldn't understand. "I won't do that to you." He sat there for a moment, pretending to attend to what he was working on on his computer before continuing. "Thank you, th-though."

-No podré…no podré detenerme…solo quiero seguir…

(Taken) - Sender is taken prisoner by receiver on their ship at sea after a shipwreck
Enjolras had no real idea what he was looking at when he looked out to sea from the small island's beach. A man, it seemed, sitting on a rock, and something about it stirred some concern in his chest, so as was his nature, he pulled off his boots and threw off his shirt and splashed into the crystal clear water without a thought. "Don't worry! I'll help you!" Surely, this person must be in danger, clinging to the rock for safety, to keep their head above water. He dove into the waves effortlessly, a strong swimmer, tossing water to either side with his strokes and kicks. The water burned his eyes, but that didn't matter. All that amttered was getting this person to safety.

"Get your hands off me!" Enjolras struggled against hands and ropes alike, managing to briefly free himself. It was short lived, but he tried to make the best of it until he tripped and fell. A quick kick to the stomach winded him and left him struggling for breath, during which time he was dragged to his feet and hauled over to the captain. He refused to look up at the man until a sailor knotted his hands in his hair and jerked his head back, causing him to cry out and struggle again. He now had no cjoice but to look up at the captain, and, in what might have been a fit of insanity, spat at the man, earning himself a backhanded smack to the face that left bleeding cuts on his cheek and a busted lip, not to mention bruises, in its wake. He struggled against the hand holding his head back, stubborn and fighty as always.
"Take him to the brig," the captain said dismissively. "He'll find soon enough that he can't kill one of us and get away with it."
Enjolras struggled as he was dragged across the deck and then down the stairs below, all the way until he was thrown into a small, damp cell with barred walls, the door being locked behind him.
(Taken) - Sender is taken prisoner by receiver on their ship at sea after a shipwreck from enj
Grantaire had been below decks when the shipwreck had been found. All of the excitement hadn't roused him at first; shipwrecks very seldom yielded anything of value and, even if it did, the captain would allow them barely a glimpse of its treasures before claiming them for himself. It wasn't until he started hearing whispers of a prisoner being brought onboard that he found his interest piqued enough to venture out into the blazing sunlight.
He hadn't been expecting to lay eyes on the most beautiful man he'd ever seen. Cold blue eyes and flowing golden curls; surely an incarnation of Apollo himself! A true son of Aphrodite cast among mere mortals. There was fire ablaze in his eyes, a strength belied by his lithe form as he struggled against the hands of his captors and the ropes that bound him.

He hesitated when he saw how startled the man had been by his approach, how ready he was to flee. He wasn't in danger or in need of help.
But then he smiled, and Enjolras couldn't help but smile back as he treaded water to keep his head above the surface. He watched him stretch out on the rock and had to admit that such seemed like a good idea... if only he didn't have sailor's duties to attend to.
"I am Enjolras," he said without hesitation as he watched the beautiful stranger on the rock. He gave a brief, small dip of his head. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." He cautiously swam closer to the rock until he could olace his hands on it to keeo his head above water. He didn't want to startle the man further, but he was starting to get tired.

Enjolras heard him step closer and flinched, starting to shake almost imperceptibly. Almost.
"How can you say that?" His words came as a hiss, a hand clamped into a fist on the desk so tight that if he were human, it would have been bloodless. "How can you think that you know that?"
He wanted to ignore his lover's pleas, but found himself plied by them. "Why must we argue this in every life?" He raised a hand to rub at his face. "Paris doesn't need a monster, but I need-" you.
Without thinking, he turned around, his eyes immediately latching onto the man's throat, and he hated himself for it. He licked his teeth thirstily as he began to shake in earnest. "No," he said with a shake of his head before turning away. "No, I can last a little longer." But could he?

Enjolras sat in the cell, feeling himself over for injuries, especially around his ribs. Luckily, nothing seemed to be broken. He was shaking in pain and fear and panic. Even if there were no broken ribs, he would definitely be bruised.
The voice made him jump, though, wishing he could draw his hands back to protect himself, but they were quite literally tied. His shaking intensified as he sat there, barely able to move.
"Who are you?" He decided the safest bet was the answer the question with a question, to not give away his condition until he had to. "Why would you care?" And a little impertinence never hurt, right?

"No, it is you who is not making sense! You don't understand what you are offering, what you are asking me!" He spat his answer back, and for a moment, his eyes blazed before simmering back down to their hungry hue.
When the man knelt at his feet, tried to inch away, but doing that while sitting was hard... and Grantaure was so tempting. He was always so tempting, and not just as food. Enjolras stared at his neck, torn between wanting to drink from it and wanting to kiss it... but hunger won out.
He reached out a cold shakey hand to lay it on Grantaire's shoulder, to hold him at arm's length. "You do not understand what you are offering." He closed his eyes and tried not to breathe, to not breathe in the delicious smell brought on by the man's closeness.
It hurt, being so close to this man and knowing that he was just an unknown monster to him, not a liver that searched for him amongst the generations. He looked at him, similarly sad-eyed. "I could never hurt you." A cryptic response. "I've done enough of that already."

Enjolras grimaced. He couldn't give it all away, could he? Grantaire had to remember on his own... The consequence was madness, and he wouldn't influct that... not again... not on this man that he loved ao dearly. "I have already said too much," he said softly, frowning deeply. He gave a sad smile. "You couldn't hurt me more than I already am."
He hesitated, shaking as his hand was pushed away... but he let it, no matter his frown.
"Why do you offer this as if it is nothing? As of your life is nothing?" He was clearly measuring his words carefully.

He gave a cautious nod before offering a shaking hand in greeting. Shaking for fear or shaking for pain? Even he didn't know. "I am E-Enjolras."
He winced as he shifted closer to the bars where the stranger knelt. He clutched at the bars. "I am thirsty... and hungry... but thirst is more emergent." He licked his chapped lips and dazedly looked at the man. "Would they not notice if I was suddenly bandaged?" He looked suspicious.
"Why are you helping me? Does this not out you at risk?" It was an honest question. He knew trusting anyone so early into his time in this vessel was dangerous. He wouldn't do it lightly.
